Starting point is 00:00:00 We are going to pick every NBA superstar's perfect match. And what does that mean? We are going to see five categories per superstar. A star teammate based on personality, a star teammate based on play style, a role player, a team slash franchise, and an era. We have to pick from each category what this player's perfect match is. So for instance, if we think a player likes to punch people, their team perfect match is the Detroit Pistons because they are bad boys.
Starting point is 00:00:25 If we think a player would be better than 90s because they can't shoot, their era perfect match is the 1990s. five categories per player okay so first player victor wambinyama who is the best star to pair with them
Starting point is 00:00:37 based on personalities meshing who's another try hard that can play with them yo drima would like all time or current all time Kobe or jordan is is Kobe like too much
Starting point is 00:00:47 intensity though or were they both cut in the same wavelength that they'd just like be together forever I think Kobe I think Kobe might be okay my question is
Starting point is 00:00:55 when you're one of the biggest assholes of all time do you need another asshole or do you need a punch you back well I think I think you need to punching bag. Or someone who can like
Starting point is 00:01:01 punch for you. But Kobe like if he saw like if he saw you work then you then he was fine. When you want to Kobe's the answer. There's a question. I don't think they would match up well. I think there's only room for one asshole like that
Starting point is 00:01:15 in the building. But he's only like that if you don't work. He might just be like that though. Yeah. I think he's like in general. Him and Powell cool. True. Him and Powell cool.
Starting point is 00:01:25 He didn't start beefing with Shaq. But with Kobe be cool with Kobe. Huh? Would Kobe be cool with Kobe? I think so. I think so. He was beefing with Shaq and Shaq was coming
Starting point is 00:01:33 into camp out of shape. If Shaq was in shape in the summer, they could have stayed together. You know, I think Victor Romaniama probably also wants to be surrounded with like-minded
Starting point is 00:01:42 individuals. We can go Kobe for personality. Okay. That's not bad. Play style. Who's the best player you can imagine to play with Wembe?
Starting point is 00:01:49 Loki, Luca? Yeah. Luca's the most double team player like ever? You need somebody you do need somebody
Starting point is 00:01:58 to go be able to get like a shot. Yeah. I would say a perimeter guy. And a lop thrower. You need a lop thrower to be able to give him just cracked out lops nonstop. So it's either Stephen Hats, CP3 or Luka to me. And I think we can go Luka just because he's bigger than all those other guys.
Starting point is 00:02:12 Okay. Fair enough. Luca Dantches is the perfect playstyle comparison for Victor Womenyama. Actually, actually, it might be CP3 over, over Luka. But I think you know. For defensive purposes. Okay. But I also think you want somebody who wants to take the last shot.
Starting point is 00:02:29 doesn't got to put that pressure on Wimby to create with the ball in his hands. Luca wants every last shots. That is a good point. CB3 is going to want to feed Wemby. CP3 can get to, he'll take the game winner at the mid range. He could. He can get down here a little bit.
Starting point is 00:02:43 Luca won't need it. More of the air. Okay. Yeah. I think Wimby's happy to give it. Yeah, we can go Luca. Role player. Who's the perfect role player for Wimby?
Starting point is 00:02:51 Draymond Green. Dremong Green. Beef stew. Beef stew. Aaron Gordon? He'll gladly take it. kids out. So you want you another big man next to him that can kind of complains them? I do. Yeah. Because especially we have, we have a point guard in Luca that can help facilitate the,
Starting point is 00:03:11 the offense. I think having a disgusting one-two punch in somebody else to where they can also move around and not put the entire backline defense on Wembe so you can really like lock in. I think that is key to having Wemby being his one man, you know, I'm just, I'm going to Guard here, guard there. Aaron Gordon made perfect sense to me then. Okay. Team. What is the perfect team organization that embodies women, Yama?
Starting point is 00:03:36 I think he honestly should stay on the Spurs. It is just the Spurs. It is just the Spurs. He's not from here. He's big as hell, generational. Yeah. He won Spurs. Foreign, work hard, big man.
Starting point is 00:03:45 Yeah. The three components of being a Spur. And being a legend for the Spurs. I think that's perfect. Honestly, I can't even think of a close second. This is Mr. Spur. Adam Silver put together a fantastic script. Yeah, you can like,
Starting point is 00:03:59 maybe convince me the Mavericks, but at that time it's like, ah, nah, not really. No, because the Mavericks have another type
Starting point is 00:04:05 for their star players. Yeah, he doesn't do that. You're right, you're right, you're right, not past enough. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:10 He was halfway there. Fuck. So. Era. Is he happy there? Not even. I don't think he is. His mom is white.
Starting point is 00:04:17 French? She is? Yeah, his dad is dark soon. Yeah, his dad's from like the Congo. I didn't know his mom's white. French and Congo.
Starting point is 00:04:24 Mm-hmm. Good for him. Era. What decade would wouldn't be fit the best in right now probably even even even now they people are yelling at him you're 7 5 get in the paint if he was in the 90s and he was trying to do all the things that that he that he does right now it would be even heightened yeah this is the most accepting a decade of his play style yeah dude the second year in the league he took like eight three in the game or some
Starting point is 00:04:48 crazy like that but i'm not gonna lie it'll be cool as fuck to watch him in the 2010s alongside kd too they would do so much damage to basketball actually so i don't know about that. You only had one of these guys. I was to say, and they wouldn't play together, though, but you're right. Katie would have tried
Starting point is 00:05:02 to play with him. Katie would have found a way to play with him. No, never mind. Katie would have found his way to his team in 2016. Next player, who we got?
Starting point is 00:05:12 Shea Gilded as Alexander. Who is the best star teammate personality-wise? Who's notchalant? Yeah, you need somebody to. Or does he want nonchalant or do you need the opposite of debt? No, I mean,
Starting point is 00:05:24 towards someone too. All the other guys on the team team, pretty like chill. Nobody's super super like rambunctious. Okay so personality wise we need a hard worker who will grind get better every year but nonchalant and is even killed. Is Kauai Leonard
Starting point is 00:05:37 2 diva? Maybe. Tim Duncan? Not Tomchalons? I'm thinking like both just won't react to going down on the series. No, but you still have to care about Tim doesn't dress well enough for Shay. Okay, that is part of personality. Fair. And also like
Starting point is 00:05:55 at times, Shay will fuck around with the guys too. She has videos him dancing that shit She'd be recording hypping up J-Mac and all that Yeah I do think You probably need a
Starting point is 00:06:04 Need a newer era Type type of guy How's Dame? You know what? What about Russ? Is Russ too much Personality-wise? Russ is too much
Starting point is 00:06:14 Yeah he'll be yelling To screaming And he'll like He'll talk to anybody He'll scream at babies Right Too alpha Yeah
Starting point is 00:06:20 But Dame He's so He'll talk He'll talk So he has to dress well And they have to be cool and friends off the court in that way. He has to be nonchalant
Starting point is 00:06:29 and he has to be poise under pressure. Tatum? Zero? See, poison under pressure got me because I was thinking maybe like Paul George. Yeah. I think Tatum would get along. I think him and Tatum would mesh well.
Starting point is 00:06:41 Yeah. You don't see Tatum ever like being out like out. I'm not about basketball. But like do you want the yin and yang of like the nonchalant and somebody else who's just a little bit more out there?
Starting point is 00:06:53 I don't think so. I think Shay sets the tone, I think. And he's not a nonchalant You don't want him to be more aggressive Like Shea's aggressive as fuck If he was aggressive to a I mean if he was nonchalant to a fault We'd be like
Starting point is 00:07:03 If you'd be like If you'd someone to get the eye The tiger out of view Not a problem with Shay So I think we can get him Somebody on his level Okay Who was the best star teammate
Starting point is 00:07:09 Play style wise Who would compliment him best So we Low key a point guard Lookie Actually no Low key Somebody else that can pass really well
Starting point is 00:07:19 It can be a forward or a guard Honestly him and Yokut Would be disgusting True But I don't know She's not quite good enough off ball is Tatum again Hey low key might be
Starting point is 00:07:30 Tatum a point forward that can pass a little bit That is Tatum Okay I'm okay Tateum fuck us Let's go Even TAM need to link up
Starting point is 00:07:38 You know J-Dub is kind of Shades to Tatum there in some ways So it makes sense Shades Good word It's just shades Yeah
Starting point is 00:07:44 Who's the best role player for him Tatum Tatim Turn a positive to a negative Yeah I go to Petitum Who's the best team for him Now, it can't be the Celtics because there's too many words in his last name.
Starting point is 00:08:00 Yeah, yeah. They don't do that. They don't do that. Is it OKC? No. Maybe the, could it be the Raptors? Oh, yeah. He could be Mr. Canada.
Starting point is 00:08:11 He could be perfect. He's a like bigger dude. Maybe the Nets. What does that mean? He's in New York. He's in New York. He's disgusted with that. The Nets.
Starting point is 00:08:24 I don't know the Nets and bodies. I don't even know what that means. I mean, it's a blank canvas for I'm just saying just to be in just to be in Brooklyn and because what the Nets tried to do a couple years ago where they were like, we're this cool you know hip hop adjacent
Starting point is 00:08:42 this this trendy team like we're kind of in this lane that's Shay kind of operates in that area I do think it's the Raptors though I think he could be like he's like the greatest Canadian of all time yeah he's Mr. Canada he'd be the prime minister it should be the rapids. Him and Drake.
Starting point is 00:08:57 Him and Drake is the Raptors pretty easily. Man wrote the Nets. Why, we wrote that? We gotta let you talk. The Nets is crazy. I'll think he's crazy. 2000s, maybe? That mid-range jumper and that type
Starting point is 00:09:11 a Kobe S game would be even better than maybe. I think 2000s would be perfect for him. Because, you know, he's kind of a fish out of water now being this mid-range-oriented star now. It still works clearly, but maybe he'd be even better back then. Or maybe in the 90s, he's literally Jordan. And he would just be like unstoppable. He'd going band for band with MJ or trying to.
Starting point is 00:09:30 Damn, he's Clyde. He can't be in the 90s. Nah, he can't be Clyde. Would fashion have progressed to a point that he even feels comfortable? Maybe he would have progressed fashion in the 2000s. He would have liked, he would have liked the bagginess of the 2000s. Yeah, let's put him in the 2000s. 2000s little sense.
Starting point is 00:09:49 We'll just add on to 2000s lore for sure. Yeah, definitely. Okay. You can be DMAC. Next one. Nicole Yokic Best personality star match with him All right this is the hardest
Starting point is 00:10:01 selection for us right now Keep in mind Nicole Yokic is a hot head And allegedly might have snapped the twins neck before On the court We need someone to keep him in line And calm him down But also
Starting point is 00:10:14 Let's turn it up Turn it after I'm on green Man put Russ Yeah Russ would be such a terrible influence For his ass He's a gulkid is a grown man He's not he's fine
Starting point is 00:10:24 he's okay let's get Russ personality and play style I want prime Russell Wyrh they had synergy when Westbrook was washed
Starting point is 00:10:34 you turned up to peak version of Russ I would be insanely fun that's a fair pick we can go Russ for personality play style wise I feel like it has to be
Starting point is 00:10:43 Steph Curry the greatest off ball movement player and the greatest passing hub player yeah but the defense will be fried I think we have to get
Starting point is 00:10:49 some form defender we'll figure it the fuck out him and Curry would be legitimately unguarded It's not like Russ is that much better But a defender than Curry He's not a needle moving thing there
Starting point is 00:10:59 I guess Either way we're gonna need a lead defender To two to four regardless I think I'd rather have KD before Curry Alongside Yokin's Teddy Dude Curry's running off ball Around him as a passing hub
Starting point is 00:11:11 What the hell? How do you possibly deal with that? The two main game would be That might be the most unstoppable Two main combination you could make Besides like Curry and Shaq Yeah And even then we can debate that
Starting point is 00:11:21 All right we can do curry We gotta do stuff Roll player. It's Aaron Gordon. You already got him? They're boot together for life. They have to be. That is like Aaron Gordon at his peak is awesome
Starting point is 00:11:32 because you also get the lob threat from Aaron Gordon where you can pick Draymond Green but he's just not the vertical athlete. The vertical athlete that Aaron Gordon is he don't have the vert like that. Aaron Gordon allows him to make Yokic better as a passer and as a defender.
Starting point is 00:11:47 And then you get this version of Aaron Gordon where he's shooting threes as well. We can play Aaron Gordon for literally every player. Yeah. Team. A Mavericks. You're the only iconic white European guy that didn't play for the Mavericks. Let's fix that.
Starting point is 00:12:01 Oh, he would have eaten. If you're over 6'7-European MVP level player, you need to play for the Mavericks. It's written in the social contract. They would have loved them out there. Okay, the Mazz. I can get with that. It's written in the stars. Which era is best for him.
Starting point is 00:12:15 I think he would have been a monster in the 90s because the defense wouldn't have been a problem because he wouldn't have to move his feet in space. He can defend in the post just fine. He just can't rotate with all this spacing. Fuck that. Put him in the 70s, man. Put him in the 60s and he's God and he invented basketball. The way they're, wait, I don't think he would have been able to play back then. Would they have led him in the league? Foreign guy?
Starting point is 00:12:38 You think they would allow Bill Russell in the league before him? Everybody's politics was kind of saying. I don't know where people officially drew the line. Oh, you're talking about like literal rules. Yeah, international players weren't around. the 60s. So you are right. So never mind. Can't be the 60s. Okay. Fuck.
Starting point is 00:12:59 Put him in the 80s? Fuck it. Yeah. Inverted magic. Okay. Yeah. Anything before the modern era, his defense wouldn't be talking about that much because he'd be a perfectly fine post defender. He'd be the goat, man.
Starting point is 00:13:13 Like he literally could not play back then. So crazy. I was like, oh, you did literally? Yeah. Yeah. That's not having to bonus, right? You couldn't come over for a while? I think so. Yeah, I think so too.
Starting point is 00:13:22 I don't know. Actually, I don't know the exact details there. All right, who's up next? I thought he just waited. I thought he did. I don't know if there's complications. Yeah, I thought he just didn't want to. You're probably right, actually.
Starting point is 00:13:30 I have no idea. I just had that. Luca Donchich. Who is the best star personality-wise? I really liked him and Kyrie along side of each other. Kyrie a little bit older, wiser. You need somebody to calm him down. Put Jerry Vanderbilt right there.
Starting point is 00:13:45 Shut the fuck out. Jared Vanderbiltz been walking around next to Luca, keeping him calling the entire season. Out of my face. He's been doing it. All right, so who's the star version of Jerry Van derby? I'm not saying, I'm not saying, I'm not saying as a guy.
Starting point is 00:13:58 Well, who's a star version of that personality type? Who can, who can talk him down? See, that's hard because all the stars be getting turned up. Yeah. Tim Duncan? Tim Duncan. Tim Duncan can look and be like, maybe.
Starting point is 00:14:13 He's like that blink face. Like a mime. Yeah, maybe, maybe Tim. Didn't he love Bobon? He did. He's not a star. Yeah. He liked Bobbun.
Starting point is 00:14:22 They're just vibe in the locker room, play big cards and stuff. him and Chris Boss would have a time together actually they'll be homies that's the most random sentence I ever heard they'll be homies Chris Boss is a goofy guy Loki
Starting point is 00:14:35 yeah low key all the funny pieces he likes to me yeah him and Chris Boss would be tight as oh taking selfies together yeah okay listen he loved
Starting point is 00:14:45 he loved Dallas and Chris Bosch is from Dallas all right Chris Bosch for star personality I don't really know what that means me neither But we'll write it down. We're just talking. Star, play style. Obviously a big man, right?
Starting point is 00:14:59 Yeah, I'd prefer a big. Is it just like Wembe or Shaq? Is it a big man? What are you thinking? Cambu. For a start, I actually think, and maybe it's because I've seen it, but like another guard that can go alongside him, because the two times that we've seen the Mabbs really make deeper runs,
Starting point is 00:15:17 you have Brunson and you had Kyrie. And I think you can get away with just having a screen. screen setter lob catcher so like you you can have lucca brunson or lucca enter the other star guard here and then again no disrespect but you get a clink capella as you're saying i think it's also just because those those are the only times the maps had the requisite talent and they just happen to be guards every other time kp was over there being pissed off and stuff imagine that screen setter could also do this kairi stuff 2020 anthony davis play style wise can how do you guard those two that would be disgusting you can throw them a high
Starting point is 00:15:54 high elbow touch, let him get his buckets off, and he can be the screen roll threat. Yeah, oh my God. AD would love that. We're trying to go big? It's easy. Dummy. If I say Michael Jordan, then what's next? I think he said, everybody.
Starting point is 00:16:13 Yep, Luca and Michael Jordan wouldn't be a problem. I role player. Who's the perfect role player? The idea, Derek lively. I think Derek White would be disgusting. Put Clint Capella right there. Klingapela would eat Okay
Starting point is 00:16:29 Along the year He had a Trey Young Yeah 2021 but Luca Sure He's eating with Trey He's even with James Hardney He's eating with Luca
Starting point is 00:16:38 Give me a prime Clint Okay Team who is the best team You can imagine That embodies Luca The Mavericks To be the Mavericks I'm not moving off of that too
Starting point is 00:16:47 Lakers Stop that Is he not showtime Is he not Hollywood Is he not bright lights Sell Popcorn I mean he is He's a Maverg
Starting point is 00:16:56 But also he's a Maverick at heart, man. You say, he's going to throw the Maverg's fan of Bone. Tell him they're right. They are right. Yeah. Let them have something. They should never been robbed. Now, we can let the Maverg's fans have something since I get to have Luca.
Starting point is 00:17:09 They can have the theory of being the perfect match team-wise. You get to have Luca. I'm willing to make that sacrifice for them. Mass fan, Stonehead. Era. Is he seen his best era now? Probably. Probably.
Starting point is 00:17:22 I know, no, it is. 20-tens. Whenever teams are running drop coverage against James Hardin in the playoff, but James Harden just forgot to make shots. Luca wouldn't have forgot. Defense is a complex now and do a lot of aggressive schemes against ball handlers.
Starting point is 00:17:32 In 2018, if you were a heliocentric ball handler, you could run around like pock. He would have been crazy in the late 2010s. Like 20, 2017. Even in the early 2010s too. Yeah, 2010s there for Luca. Man, if James Hardin had his clutch abilities
Starting point is 00:17:48 and his playoff translation, come on. It's him and LeBron. It's him and LeBron. And he gets Curry too, of course. Imagine he walks in a Mike Booneholtzor defense and drop coverage every play. He's better than Katie. 20 times?
Starting point is 00:18:00 I don't know about that. Come on. I'm just kidding. Next one. Janus, who's the best star personality-wise? Is it Bam out of bio? Let's put his brothers the entire way. What do you need from a star personality to play with Janus?
Starting point is 00:18:20 How do you maximize Janus with another player? You really got to put the Nassus on this. The entire thing. Alex. Like, I don't know if there's ever been anybody personality-wise who can maximize the honest in that way. Exactly. Like, if I,
Starting point is 00:18:36 if I asked you right now, what's Chris Middleton's personality? I don't think he has one. He's just looking at you and looking away. He's looking at you for me? So, like Chris Milton, Drew Holiday,
Starting point is 00:18:48 what's his personality like? What's Drew Holliday? Yeah, we don't know. I, fuck it. We're putting the Nasus for star personality. Yeah. Why not?
Starting point is 00:18:57 Who's the best star, playstyle-wise, for yonness? Play-style-wise. If the NASA was a star. All right. Wait. Let's do that. Let's make the NASA. Let's make him a star.
Starting point is 00:19:07 Let's make him a star. Actually, if Janus, if the Nasus was a star, he'd just be honest. Is he, he's not as tall, though. No, he's not. Okay, Julius Irving. A high flyer. You do need somebody who can shoot a little bit. Yeah, so realistically.
Starting point is 00:19:24 It's like Katie. I think you probably just pick. Katie could work or like the best stretch big of all time. Like we could just pick cat, give you five out spacing. But maybe who means Wemby? It's always Wemby. It would be tough. Someone that can play defense and stretch the court, it's Wemby.
Starting point is 00:19:41 Um, we can go there, but that just seems too easy. It is too easy. I'll allow it for Yonis because Wembe and Yonis are a match made in heaven. And we could have had it too. They really wanted it. They didn't want it bad enough. All right. So we'll go Wembe there.
Starting point is 00:19:54 Best role player for Janus. Now we put the NASS. The NASS again. Or Costas. Someone, one of them. So I think if we have Wembe as the other star, him and Wembe, somebody has to be able to handle the ball. Somebody has to be able to shoot. Payne Pritchin.
Starting point is 00:20:13 He always the first one. Bucket. Or do you want him over the playmaker? Ooh. Like a Ricky Rubio. Ricky Rubio. Rajan Rondo. Who's that?
Starting point is 00:20:23 Who's that small guard from the. Denver Noges. Compazo? Campazo will be tough as fuck with Yonnas. Campos sucks. Dude, he would love, Janus would love his ass. Have you seen,
Starting point is 00:20:34 there's an edit going around of Campazo. Being trash? No, I think it was like his highlights. Oh, I saw a Lola edit, do?
Starting point is 00:20:43 See both. And he was like, man, he was a problem. Faku Campos would do numbers of Yonis, right? He's one of the worst players ever seen. Who's good Faku Kampaso?
Starting point is 00:20:54 Pablo Prizioni. All right, man. Jose Alvarado. You would die for Janus. So we need a spacing, defending passer. But probably small because they got to be a role player to do all that and still be a role player. Kyle Ler is too good. Kyle Ler is too good.
Starting point is 00:21:11 Hit me, Carl Lerner would go dumb. Yeah, that would have been good. The idea of Ridge. You know what? Let's go Peyton Pitchard. Because Yianz doesn't want to run, pick and roll and catch a lot, really. He wants to do my thing and let you do your thing sometimes. Payne Pritchie can do his thing sometimes
Starting point is 00:21:26 But I think we need a feisty small defender That's Payne Pritchard He'd be fighting He'd be fighting He's very good hand He's actually quite a good defender He's just tight-in' He tries, yes Like he's actually skilled
Starting point is 00:21:36 Of a defender He's just little All right we can go Peyton Pritcher Team who did Yannis What team best embodies Yonis? So how do we describe? Honestly the Miami Heat I think he fits there
Starting point is 00:21:47 I think somebody who Came from Came from nothing Worked his way up Had the complete career art Got better because he grinded harder Than everybody That is that is he culture
Starting point is 00:21:59 His career is an expansion franchise Yes makes sense Okay, he is in Miami Heat's Okay And you know, part of the Miami Heatos Going out there and signing a superstar They go in trade for him It makes total sense
Starting point is 00:22:09 Best era for Janus Now 2020's right Put him any error It doesn't really matter But now he benefits the most Yeah the era with the best spacing Is the best era for Janus
Starting point is 00:22:19 So 2020s Yep Yeah He's exactly where he's right where he needs to be. I hate when that's the answer. I like who we can put somebody different here. Next one.
Starting point is 00:22:31 Steph Curry. Oh yeah, he's better in the 80s. Best star personality-wise. Is it just Dremont? Yeah, for sure. Or is it, personalities aren't why they mesh. They mesh because of play style
Starting point is 00:22:40 and they make sense personality-wise? No, I think personality-wise they mesh too. So you think it's the perfect fit? Yeah. Yeah. I think their combination is as perfect as his thing. Curry's the perfect personality for Dremon
Starting point is 00:22:51 because he'll tolerate the downsides. is Shreira one of the best personality for Curry Yeah, because he needs someone who won't talk Talk back like for real Oh, he needs an enforcer Yeah He needs someone that'll talk for him Yeah at times
Starting point is 00:23:02 Someone that'll put the hands on Gobert for him Yes, exactly Fair I do not see Steph Curry putting the hands on Gobert He's not a fighter So Drummond gets personality and play style Yes You're exactly where you need to be already
Starting point is 00:23:13 Steph, you got the guy Role player Iggy Facts Somebody who After they retire will die for you. Somebody who in every interview
Starting point is 00:23:26 will let everybody know that man is the greatest I have ever been around. I will do whatever it takes to push forward your legacy. Who would have thought? Curry already got his perfect Matt situation in real life.
Starting point is 00:23:37 Literally. Team. Warriors. We're going to go with the Warriors. Era 2010. Curry got the exact scenario he could have hoped for in this life. It's literally isn't a better...
Starting point is 00:23:48 How often you look at somebody and say everything went right for you? twice. What's that say about him? Who's the second time? Dremongry. Okay. Him and New York would be insane too.
Starting point is 00:23:58 Oh, that'd be cool. Anybody good at New York. That's play style. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Shout out to Steph Curry. Having a easy NBA life.
Starting point is 00:24:07 Next one. Dad's NBA player. Yeah, man. She's easy. She'll be given. Born on third base. He was born at home. He was born at home for sure.
Starting point is 00:24:17 Speaking of. Jalen Brunson. Who is the best star personality for him? How do you define general person personality? Rad, like mad, stale, and normal. Yeah, he's, he's calm. He's quiet, pretty stoic, not really gonna go out and say a lot.
Starting point is 00:24:35 I think we need someone that's fiery. He gets the best set of him. Because he gets fired at times late games. He starts, I think we need someone that gets that out of him. He starts what? What did you just do? You mean to do that fuck-ass celebration? I don't like it at all.
Starting point is 00:24:49 Stop Peyton. It's bad. That's actually fantastic. Hey, it looks cool on him. It's because he's yelling at Brunsson. If Josh Hart did that, I'd be like, put your hand down. That's why it's cool. It's very singular.
Starting point is 00:25:00 He's fucking punching his nose. Okay. So who does he mean? Kevin Burn it. We can go KG or we can just double down. They would love each other. KG and Brustin would have a time. That's tough.
Starting point is 00:25:13 KG would be bullying people and Brinson would be giggling in the background. They get along just fine. Just do better, man. Bruns is the type to not really bully someone, but love to laugh at a bully. You have a great time agreeing. All right, let's put KG at personality. Okay.
Starting point is 00:25:29 Play style. Defender, obviously. Having an elite reprotter would be nice. Does he just need to play with Kevin Gardner? Kevin, Kevin G. And if you just tell, like, if you could do the thing where you tell KG, hey, take one step back.
Starting point is 00:25:44 And now KG's taking threes. And you know what? And Jayne and Brunsk could use a passing big man too. It's Kevin Garnett's. they would be amazing together in another life man best role player I mean you can just go Josh Hart
Starting point is 00:25:58 he's already got the best role player for him that's why he's on the team yeah Josh Hart OG kind of elevated I don't even know the role he's in like the Derek White role word like you're better than a role player
Starting point is 00:26:12 but you're not like a star star well let's try to pick some other than Josh Hart maybe it's not try to pick the person they already have what's a good role player for best row Caruso Brunton
Starting point is 00:26:22 You need somebody Who can guard his man as well Yes guard the number one point guard So Brunson can sit in the corner Marcus Smart Oh Personality wise He would match really well
Starting point is 00:26:34 Brunson too We got smart and garnet Should just be a fucking Celtic Cake Team Celtics All right Let's not do that
Starting point is 00:26:45 Let's not Let's not do that You also matches with the Miami Heat as well he's in New York Nick he's a got out the mud type of guy works for this that does scream Miami heat he is
Starting point is 00:26:55 he is pretty heat culture but also I mean I could envision a different world where he's like someone like a spur second round pick you know does put it in the right way yeah very like forward forward facing dude
Starting point is 00:27:08 he's also like overshadowed wasn't supposed to be here and found success little clippersie is the clippers not success if he was cursed yeah like he's the little brother type of thing but like if the clippers are found success. I don't know if any other franchise matches that.
Starting point is 00:27:21 I guess the Warriors kind of were that. I could see like some Philly in his game too because he's like a standalone ball handler. Oh, three. He embodies Philly for sure. He is a northeast guy. Work hard. Nothing's given to you. Salt to the Earth people. I think he's a 76 year at heart. I could see Philly. At heart? Yeah. He's Alan Iverson.
Starting point is 00:27:44 Dollar Tish. Heard him away. Yep, yep. 76 is the perfect match team-wise. organization ethos era I would say 2000s yeah
Starting point is 00:27:53 Friday in 2000s yeah yeah a ball a ball dominant guard greater footwork cooks in isolation can lead a team and we gave him
Starting point is 00:28:01 garnet he's just Alan Iverson yeah moral story Jalen Brunson's Alan Iverson and Alan Ivers should have played
Starting point is 00:28:08 with Gardnettes perfect next one that's nasty the last one two more after this. Anthony Edwards star personality.
Starting point is 00:28:22 Cat. I'm sick, man. They did love each other. Yeah. It's either cat or like Tim Duncan. You need somebody to chill. Yeah, we need someone to calm down. And like when they go out to different cities when you're in L.A., someone that's not are convincing to say at home. Cat would hype his ass up doing that shit. Cats and take him on a double date.
Starting point is 00:28:40 Yeah. Cat, buddy. Do that for me, five? Cat dates a celebrity. He has access to all these elite parties. He's going to take aunt with them. It's not going to go well. Yeah. Okay. I'm going to Tim Duckin here. Okay, Tim Duncan. Tim Duncan will keep him calm. So either Tim Duncan or someone who just got here and doesn't understand anything. He would or love Boba. Rookie Dirk. Rookie Dirk, Boban.
Starting point is 00:29:01 Yokic. Honestly, Yokch might be, uh, never mind. He's kind of a hot head. I think Yokish can't put up with Anthony Edwards like immaturity. Yeah, I think he would annoy Yokch. I think it would, it would love Yokch. And would think Yonkich is like cute because he doesn't know anything. Yeah. He's so like, he's so innocent and so. like white. He'd be like,
Starting point is 00:29:20 oh, look at that. He'd like tell you if you put a du rag on and shit like that. Star playstyle, who's the best fit for Ant? What do you want from an teammate the most? So in this moment,
Starting point is 00:29:32 I want a point guard for him. Point guard. Lead Paul, that can set him up and take pressure off him. Thinking about Cade? I think it's Steve Nash. Chris Paul.
Starting point is 00:29:44 Chris Paul. Okay, okay, okay. Think of LeBron James. I go Chris Paul Play style wise Okay Can you imagine Who a prime Mike calmly
Starting point is 00:29:57 Shut the fuck Listen He would He would die from Mike right now He's so performative Serrits I'm being real honest He brought up a name
Starting point is 00:30:07 I'm being real honest What do you mean? He brought up a name Yeah like I named a terrible player He'll have a prime mic call He would be disgusting When you mentioned Chris Paul You're like
Starting point is 00:30:16 I'm a mic Mike I mean, I see it right now. I can't do that. You're right. I can definitely see that. This is the Chris Bosch pickoff. It's just when we thought about the perfect star.
Starting point is 00:30:28 Like Mike Kong. That's mad realistic. Yeah. Let's think us like the box. No, you're thinking in the box. You found the box and you took the most easy place to sit in the box. He's a teammate in the old Mike Kelly. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:44 I get the new one. I get to you the same. I go what Jose did. It's just funny. where we're like Steve Nash, Chris Paul, LeBron. Come on Mike. Him and Kyle Arroy too. Disgusting.
Starting point is 00:30:56 Oh, here we go. Him and Kyle Arryn. This is how we get into. This is how we get him and Jamir Nelson. Oh, yeah. He'll die for a small ass. Hmm. All right.
Starting point is 00:31:09 Here's the best role player for Anthony Edwards. I almost said Patrick Beverly. Oh, hold on. Would that be cool? No, no, no, no. It'd be terrible? Were they actually teammates at one point before? I think well, I think Pat might have left right before Aunt got there.
Starting point is 00:31:22 Maybe the overlap for a year. I can't remember. Would. JJ Reddick as a teammate would be like elite form. I want you guys to try to go with me here. And no, this isn't really good, but meet me there. Dennis Rodman. So I was thinking Ron Artes.
Starting point is 00:31:38 What? Why? Like older Ron Artis? It is a, bro. It would be terrible for him because he's an instigator. Exactly. So him and Dennis Robin would be up to no good. Nobody would be better for this.
Starting point is 00:31:51 Like Dennis is. That's why it works. No. They fucked the club up together. No, Dennis would be fucking up the club in Korea. We don't need Anthony Edwards worldwide. Hell not. Andy Edwards would probably love to go to Korea.
Starting point is 00:32:02 It's too late. No. We got Robin on the board. I'm sorry. Here you're ready. Keep his ass away. It's too late. Oh, we're killing his career.
Starting point is 00:32:08 Team. Atlanta. Hometown kid. Could he be the Hawks legend? Would that make sense? Does I feel right? Robben and Andy Edwards in Atlanta. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:32:19 Ed does feel, though, like he should go to a city that embraces him like that. Shut the city down. Yeah, I think we're going to pick a city that would like fit Anthony Edwards. He's unapologetically himself. So that means he's unapologetically Atlanta. Okay. You know, like he just, he refuses to PR trained. I like that vibe.
Starting point is 00:32:41 He won't be PR trained at all. They try every year. He doesn't accept the call. You know, the Hawks trying to partner with Magic City this year for no reason. Okay. Atlanta says we will be Atlanta. So it's era. I think two, 2000 or 2010?
Starting point is 00:33:04 Say 2010, I think. Why not 2020s? What stops him from being made for this era? I think it would be not necessarily better in 2020s or 2010s, but I think there's just a lot more guards who are out of the way. Yeah. Oh, you know what I think might be make it 2020s? Developed that three point shot. And it's fucking crazy.
Starting point is 00:33:21 He wouldn't have done that if he played in the 2000s. Nobody would have told him to go try to show all these pull up threes. I know, but then he would just dunk on everybody for 82 games straight. You'd just be the post. Yeah. In post fades? Would you rather see postfade aunt or three point shot ads? We personally post fates.
Starting point is 00:33:35 All right, 2000s it is. Just because you want to see aunt do post fades. They know fair reasoning. Postpades are lit. Fair reasoning. All right. Last one. Jason Tatum
Starting point is 00:33:47 Who is the best star personality-wise for Zero? Deuce. Nice. Come on. Do you want somebody like him or somebody that's the opposite and that is Alpha and Will scream and do all this crazy stuff? Him and Russ will be so fucking good together. Can you imagine Prime Russ and Tatum?
Starting point is 00:34:08 We need a screamer with Jason Tatum. Yeah. Who's going to scream for Tatum? Bobby Russell Westbrook. Yeah. I need I need somebody that's outgoing. I need somebody who is secure in themselves. Okay.
Starting point is 00:34:22 Secure Screamer. Yeah. Who is that? Is Russ? Is Russ? Oh, hell. Yeah. No one's ever been more confident.
Starting point is 00:34:31 He's too secure with himself. Facts. Yeah. Well, I'm saying, like, because I don't want, I don't want this, like, weird cold war going back and forth. No, you won't get that. And so, like, the Russ KD stuff. That wasn't even even really there. That wasn't there.
Starting point is 00:34:47 That was Katie. Yeah. Katie. Yeah. Katie is on it. Russ personality-wise. Okay. Playstyle.
Starting point is 00:34:53 Low key, the downhill point guard that can create a paint touch also could be Russ. What about La Mello Ball? What about them? Listen, I do some crazy shit. I defended you on Mike Connolly. Tatum just calm shit down. Now you are just speaking. No.
Starting point is 00:35:09 It would not be fun. Sure. It would be. It would be entertaining. It actually would be. He'll be so happy to play a little metal versus someone like Derek Wright who don't know nothing. Just to jack up shocks. That's it.
Starting point is 00:35:20 He don't penetrate the defense. He don't look to fucking vicious all his plays at all. He just. That's it. Derek White don't know nothing. He just shooting box shots. Derek White. He don't know.
Starting point is 00:35:34 Make a play. He got 29% three point percentage for you. That's it. So do we need a playmaker alongside him? Question. Yeah. Off of precedent, would it not be SGA? or would that be too late?
Starting point is 00:35:46 Not nice, yeah. We could. Good, good, I guess. Also, he loved Al Horford. Just saying. True. Big Alhorford guy. Big Al Goreford guy.
Starting point is 00:35:55 Big Al Goreford. We won't rest for personality. Now, play style-wise, do we feel like there's some Al-Horford remnants that we want from a play style? I think he goes role player. Howard does.
Starting point is 00:36:05 Okay, well, we'll start play style first. Do we want to go guard or be? The thing with Tatum is, we can go anywhere we want. He fits with any player ever. Good Lord, that's glaze. It's true, though. Playstyle.
Starting point is 00:36:22 It's 82 and no, and they say, can put LeBron anywhere. Yeah. That basically is Tatum, though. Like, name a player he doesn't fit with. Yeah. You're here for a while. Him and Lillard will be disgusting, too.
Starting point is 00:36:34 Late man, Steve Kurt. Ooh, Lillard's a good pick. I like that. That's fun. Little would be disgusting. Tatum can play with anybody. He can. It's true.
Starting point is 00:36:42 The way you said it was wild, though. I think Dame is a good pick Yeah, let's go Dame, I like that It's really honest You know what? Yannis Yesterday, yesterday Yonis
Starting point is 00:36:54 You were one Hugo Gonzalez away from getting the perfect Playstile fit for Jason Thadam Yeah You gotta be a Hugo hater for life now I know Or a Hugo fan Because he better turn into Derek White
Starting point is 00:37:03 Oh my God Nah Is that even good enough No, no Derek White in that bitch You fucking both of them Another guy didn't know nothing
Starting point is 00:37:10 Just be really reaching all day. Role player, I think him and Rondo would have had a great well, I almost said Cemetery. He said synergy. He and Rondo would have had a great synergy together. Your Wondo would make him average 35. Just while willing
Starting point is 00:37:27 him, willing it to be. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, let's go Rondo. Rondo will convince him. Is he too good to be a role player? Nah. I don't think he's too good. We can say it's old Rondo. You can say back-hap, yeah, back-off career Rondo. Laker Rondo.
Starting point is 00:37:43 All right. his peak coach on the court. All right. Old Rondo. Old Rondo. Team. I don't think he has to be a Celtic in this conversation.
Starting point is 00:37:50 He could be a pacer. You know? Why not? Hey, that's a good point. He's vanilla as fuck. Yeah. In a good way, like I said,
Starting point is 00:37:58 you play with anybody. He is vanilla. Who's the most vanilla team that he can embody? Fuck, the Celtics are vanilla. They're all white. Yeah. Fuck, Celtics.
Starting point is 00:38:05 Put him on there. Yes. God damn it. Let's go. I just talked myself into a trap. Come on. He's got to the Celtics. It has to be.
Starting point is 00:38:13 era well if he can play with anybody that means he can play in any era come on that's so way now that is nasty I once again ask it might be glazed but am I wrong that's nasty man
Starting point is 00:38:30 to like extend the glaze like that it's unwarranted to we go 80s what can't be sure but any air it's really 2020's honestly he's where he needs to be but a number you want yeah let's put him
Starting point is 00:38:43 Put him in the 60s with Bill. Why? Oh, because we said he needs to be. I'll be damned if you write any. That's so funny. I didn't even catch that. I have a bit. Nasty.
Starting point is 00:38:57 We did say he needs to be in the most vanilla team, most vanilla era in the 1960s. He got to. He thought he'd get away with it. Just leave it there. Just leave it there. That's not. That's what to do. Hell yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:12 You got the keyboard on him. You got the. keyboard not him
