We are going to see what our NBA fandom red flags are.
Be Souls will show us a behavior that a fan may do.
Maybe it'll say something like love scores or hates going to games in person.
Whatever may be, we decide if it's a green flag because we think it's a good behavior that we like a red flag if we just can't condone that type of thing.
Or a yellow flag if it's somewhere in between.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
First thing, they're a fan of a player and not a fan of a team.
It's definitely not a green flag
It's not
But then it used to be red flag
There's so many people do what these days
Who am I to be like y'all are all stupid
I'll go yellow flag
It is what it is in the modern day
I'm gonna say green flag
It's perfectly fine to be a fan of a player
Brough what's wrong with that
But not a fan of a team
I think you should have a team
I mean by proxy you should be fan of a team
If you're fan of a player
You're fan of the team
Because you want the player to succeed
So I think it's a per year basis
You have flexibility
I think that is an inferior way
To view the game
I think you should have your favorite team
that you stick with forever.
And you can root for players too.
But you should have a team.
No, you don't have to, bro.
I think as time goes on, you can have a player.
I was going to be leaning.
You're making me change.
There's no rules and loss to this, bro.
And that's the problem.
That's the problem.
We need more respectability.
We need more respectability in sports.
We're losing.
Like who you like, bro.
It don't matter.
What if you're a fan who lives?
This is all bronze fault, man.
Nah, man.
Nah, man.
What if you're a fan who lives in like,
Arkansas or something like that.
You don't have a fucking team.
You're right there.
What if you don't fuck with Oklahoma?
What do you mean?
If you're, if you are in this, now, if you're in a state or you're in a city where
you don't have a team readily available, that's honestly good.
You have the whole country to pick from.
Yeah, pick one.
Yeah.
But pick one.
I must say you have the roof for your local team.
Just roof for 18.
Exactly.
Pick however you like.
If you are a LeBron van and you watch them on the calves, pick the calves,
stick with the calves.
God.
And this is not, this is, this is much.
different than before where you only see the team in your market. You have the ability to watch
whatever team you want, every single game. You can go out and do that and follow the team wherever you
are. Yep. I'll go yellow flags. I'm not going to be an old man and be like, you have to pick a team,
but part of me believes you should. Part of me believes you'd enjoy the game more if you did.
I think it'll make your viewing experience easier, but who cares? Don't let nobody show you, man. Go ahead
and have your fan favorite. It's got a pandering.
All right.
Don't know you going yellow?
Yeah.
Okay.
Next.
Their goat is Kobe Bryant.
They legitimately believe he's the greatest player of all time?
Yeah.
Oh, fucking red flag, obviously.
Yeah, I'm going to have to say red flag.
Huge red flag.
Yeah.
I've never seen someone that says that where I like enjoy their opinions about things.
Just about anything.
Yeah.
It's a telltale sign that I just probably went to exit the combo.
The greatest of all time is like, ah, man, I can't ask you by any of your basketball
opinions at all.
And probably other opinions, too.
You might just not have much to add to a lot of combos.
Yeah, because the way you get to Kobe being your goat, it's a bad process.
Yeah.
We got to accept some logical fallacies along the way that probably seep into the rest of your life.
Yeah.
Yeah, it's a, it's a, it's a, it's a bad process.
You've got to be a repeat offenders in some other ways.
Yeah, you know, you don't, you don't, you don't, find it to.
He's like, yeah, this shit bad.
You just don't think that critically.
and it's wrong
because you don't because you
it really is tough
because you are incapable
of separating favorite and best
or just looking past emotion
like you said
you think you critically
like you are just bogged down
by the surface level feelings you have
my goal list is my favorite players list
all right man
yeah
now you just don't want to participate
in the exercise
so now I just feel like
I can't meet you in any way
of any serious combo
because you just don't want to
you don't want to be reasonable
you're gonna do your own thing
I tell you to name the best player
you're like, I'm going to name my favorite.
You're not following the rules.
You can't follow directions now.
It doesn't bode well.
It doesn't bode well for society, man.
It just doesn't bode well for you.
Yeah.
And a lot of times, to go back to what we just said,
a lot of times the people whose goats are,
if Kobe is your goat, a lot of times you're a Kobe fan, not a Laker fan.
Right?
And so you might already have the split going on with the actual team that you should be a fan of.
Ah, okay.
I see what you.
You probably hate LeBron.
And if you're a Lakers fan who hates Ler.
Braun, again, red flag.
I probably don't want much to do with you.
So yeah, I'm going red flag.
Okay.
Next.
They think the 2020 bubble ring doesn't count.
Doesn't count.
Doesn't count.
We have to go red.
Again, you're not thinking critically.
You can respect it less.
You can say it's not as enjoyable of a ring.
It's less respectable of a ring because you don't think the circumstance or the
irregularity of it makes you think it's a lesser ring.
But does it count at all?
You're not thinking critically here.
Yeah, I don't understand that.
And I think more so in order.
for you to believe this, you have like a complete and disgusting utter disdain towards
LeBron only, bro.
It was like Kauai winning that shit or if, eh, I was about to say James Hardin, but people
will say it didn't count if it was James Hardin too because they hate him as well.
But if any other like favorite NBA player of theirs won a ring other than LeBron,
I guess Hardin too, they'd have been like, ah, it counts.
Oh, let Kauai go back to back in the bubble.
Oh my God, Jordan.
Yeah, they're saying these top 15 of all time.
Yeah, easily.
Like, they would have been crazy.
If Jordan won in the bubble, the narrative would be.
that his
mentality that he was able to stay
so locked in within that circumstance
that they don't give that grace
to anybody else. It is a red flag.
Solitude didn't bother him because he's so built different.
Yeah, we're living in dystopian times, man.
COVID was out, man.
Oh yeah, and they would have said
Michael Jordan defeated a pandemic.
Yeah.
They would have said he beat sickness.
Yeah.
It would have been discussing.
All right, next.
If Jordan had a COVID game?
Oh, my goodness.
Jesus.
They're a Celtics fan
Yeah
Can't be green
Can't be green
What's a yellow flag man
Are they from Boston
Yes
Okay
You're right
From Boston
You're just born there
It's not your fault
Yeah
It's cool
It's what you are
It's neutral
But if they're not
Well okay
So actually
If you're from there
If you're from there
You're following the rules
You're doing what you're supposed to do
Thank you
Yeah
You're root for them
Yeah but being born in Boston
It's kind of red flagging
You can't choose that
not my problem
not my problem
I didn't choose a lot in life
still be a red flag
that baby me
that baby me
damn I hope I'm born in New York
it's like
what the hell this is Colleen
gillian
if you're not from Boston
and you're a Celtics fan
it is a red flag
what if they chose it in the 80s
like actively
Big red flag
Chosen in the 80s
Yeah
because that means that you were moved
By what they were doing
And the messaging and the signaling
And what the Celtics stood for in the 80s
They were actively in those crowds
Yell out the craziest things, bro
Yeah
They just did just different winning basketball games
No they didn't
The fans differed for something a little different
Exactly
I just wanted to win some games
Yeah but sometimes I'm sure there's a group of people out there
who didn't even care about basketball,
just wanted to go to the game,
yell out slurs.
Oh, yeah.
The group people,
Boston residents in 1982.
Exactly.
Okay.
Have you seen that clip from the Jackie Robinson movie
where everybody in the crowd
is like yelling slurs at Jackie Robinson?
And it's like a close shot of this kid
who's like looking around
and like taking it in for the first time.
And so then he's looking around.
He's like, oh, I guess this is what we do.
And then he just yelled out.
Okay, so we're to God.
People didn't even care about the game at all.
That's how it was for Boston in the 80s.
They couldn't name more than three players.
Just want to go out and yell, bro.
If you were born in 1982, you would have said it.
What?
Don't put that on me.
Not today.
You weren't born anything to you, so you're good.
All right.
Next.
They think college basketball players just care more.
Reflect, you're a straight bitchmate.
I can't expect you about anything.
You're just racist and that's the only way to put it.
There's no, no, no, no way to justify this opinion other than I like white players more than I like black players.
Yeah, man.
Anytime they say this, they start talking about some, oh, yeah.
They don't even, they don't make no money, yada, yada, yada.
Oh, they used to be like that now, obviously.
Who don't make money?
Yeah.
But we went to Texas.
We went to Texas in 2017 to 2021.
In 2018, I heard the basketball players talk about so-and-so got a Bentley.
I have the bends,
the bends.
That was before NIL.
They've been getting money.
True, true, true, true.
True.
Oh my goodness.
Yeah, especially now,
you,
post NIL,
you really can't say this.
If you still believe
this post NIL,
then it's like,
oh, you really just,
just are hating
at the highest level.
I don't like seeing the...
Bro, Bichon had a Lamborghini.
He had a Lamborghini D.
No, you're actually serious?
I'm dead out.
Wow.
Yeah. This is the biggest red flag in sports.
The biggest dog whistle in sports.
Okay.
Next.
They switched their favorite team at some point.
I have to know what reason.
Because I do think that everybody gets an opportunity to switch your team like one time.
Where if the team that you have been rooting for, if they're just over and over, just letting you down and they're not showing any signs of getting out the mud.
And it really is just like in a bad place.
you have an opportunity to leave a toxic relationship.
Okay.
So I'll give it, I'll give it a yellow flag.
Let's say most switch teams specifically.
No, I mean, I kind of did when it comes to the NFL side of things.
Like back if I was 16, 15 years old, I'm through and through.
I'm bleeding blue bra.
I'm a fucking Carolina Panthers fan until I die.
Obviously, because Cam Noon hid it out or whatever.
And then I stopped watching football once he had a decline.
And I just like didn't care about football at all until like literally 10 years later.
And now I switched teams.
Why? Because I live in Chicago now.
Started football show.
And now I'm like, okay.
I think it's pretty valid reason.
I think the operative word here is switch.
Like, they definitively made a choice.
For whatever reason, I think it takes some courage.
I think it takes some ability to be, like, definitive that I want to support the team,
either because they're incompetent or for your instance, I'm a new point in life.
I'm rolling with the new team.
I think as long as you're definitive and you stay with that new team and that's your team,
I kind of think it's good behavior.
Yeah.
Something that slightly bothers me is if someone's like actively offensive.
of like two teams.
I'm like,
ah,
you gotta make a
line, man.
That's kind of cowardly.
Switching is cool.
Like,
as long as you have a team
and you have a rooting interest,
I think you're enjoying the game
the right way.
Yeah.
Yeah,
I just need to know,
it really is the why.
What if I left the Chargers
because I was born into Chargers fandom
and I was like,
I hate this.
And I was like,
now I'm a fucking Rams fan.
Actually,
that same city.
Now I'm a,
uh,
Eagles fan.
That'll be a little weird,
a little bit because,
I mean,
but there still is like a level of,
incompetence that the charges have have shown but in that scenario i just don't like losing
that like it's not like their owners are racist or something i'm just like okay i think it has to be a
deeper reason than that okay yeah deeper unless like you've been losing for like historically
30 so i would have to do it when they left san die i would have to tie myself to some kind of like
yeah if you're like if you're a jets fan though and a jet's fan says like oh i want to go or even now
if you're a king's fan and like let's say let's say you're 16 right now you're a king's fan
They haven't, they've been to the playoffs once in, in your life every other year that at the bottom of, of the league.
I think it would be okay if you're like 18, you're going into college and you're like, you know what?
I don't want this for my adult life.
I'm going to do my own thing.
I think specifically if.
This is your dream, dad, not my.
If you want to do that with the, with the fandom, I think it's okay like one time.
I think if you're 18 and you saw them trade D.N. Fox for practically nothing and let him just walk off the D.
If you gave up over D.
D.R. Fox.
I, you got to go up.
They need one more reason.
They need one more reason.
One more done decision.
If a Max fan was born to that because their dad's a mass fan,
they trade Luca and you're like,
oh, yeah,
fuck this.
I'm going to the Warriors.
All right.
Yeah, that's fair.
Valid.
You said,
they got rid of Subbon.
Nah,
I'm not.
Who will fucking say that?
This is just the ups and down the life.
Weather that storm.
You got to get through this.
It's going to be another subonis, son.
All right, next.
They think Kyrie is harder to stop than Steph Curry.
Listen.
What do I even got to say?
I'm going to give this a yellow flag because it depends on what, like, context you're saying, I guess.
If it's like a one-on-one thing, we've seen them go one-on-one so many times over the last, like, 10 years, then you could have an argument.
Is it true or right in like a full team context, which is what actually matters?
No. But if it's just straight up one-on-one, sure, bro. You can talk for two seconds.
I'm not going to get you crazy.
Nobody talks about one-on-one basketball unless just to have disingenuous takes like this.
No other context is where we talk about one-on-one basketball or an NBA conversation.
The only time someone says that is that they want an excuse to be like, I like carrying more than stuff.
Exactly. This is the only valid excuse. This is their only argument to hold on to that.
Okay. If you add some qualifiers, you say if it's a one-on-one tournament in an open gym and we're only talking about buckets, three dribbles and you do all these things to make it make sense, then sure.
Wonderful players said this.
I feel like low-key, it's more acceptable
if a player said this.
Because it's like their lived experience,
like Kyrie was piecing them up.
Yeah, I mean, what am I going to say?
I mean, okay, good for you.
Yellow flag.
If a player says this,
then I'm like, I think you're kind of dumb a little bit.
Why?
If a player's on a podcast and someone asks them
who are the hardest point guards to stop?
And the convo he says,
or, you know,
and the obvious context is winning basketball games
because you're an NBA player competing,
and he's like,
I'm taking Kyrie over Steph.
And it's somebody on a podcast.
It's Bobby Portis on a podcast.
I no longer want to listen to the Bobby Portis podcast.
Because I'm like, bro, I've seen you run for your life when it comes to trying to deal with
Steph Curry, you know?
If it's a one-on-one thing, then okay, fair.
Let's the different conversation.
But just harder to stop on a like a normal basketball Wednesday night scene.
I have red flags about you.
Yeah.
I'm concerned about you.
I'm going to go yellow because I do think that a lot of, a lot of the times the conversations
are like one-on-one focus.
Yeah.
And with stuff, there is an element of like,
if the shot goes up, then the shot goes up.
But actually allowing somebody to get to their shot,
some people might feel like it is harder
to deal with the mental of Kyrie and his dribble package.
And then also, I might get embarrassed a little bit more.
So I'll say yellow flag.
Yeah.
Again, if it's one-on-one, it's a different combo.
I assume the context here was they,
it's not one-on-one.
And they're just like period because some people will say that
Some people were like and give me Kyrie like without qualifiers
But yeah it's one on one obviously it's a different combo
Okay next
They have a favorite referee
You're a bitch man
No no that's not what that means
What does that mean? It means you need to call the hotline
If you have a favorite if you have a favorite referee
You are gambling
Okay red flag
Yo I've never seen anyone have a favorite
To a bad extent
You got a delete Fandul, buddy.
Yeah.
Yo, man, that's insane.
Yeah, this is some goofy shit.
It'd be like, I love Scott Foster.
Do we just...
He just gets me going.
When Scott Foster shows up and walks in that arena,
ooh, does it get me going?
Yeah.
My favorite.
It's the worst.
His signature move?
Wow. Beautiful.
I think, like, favorite...
Sweet calls and travels.
There are refs that obviously, like, show up a lot in big-time games
and, like, the way that they make calls is kind of entertaining.
True.
But I think having a favorite is is wild.
It actively looking for their schedule to see who they're calling games against.
You do wait too much, man.
Hey, Toby Brothers is playing tonight.
Let's go.
I got to go to the game, bro, get a selfie with the ref.
I'm going to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch Tony Brothers.
Yo, bro.
So, yeah, I'll say red flag if you have a favorite ref.
He's the highest scoring refs this season, man.
Most accurate guy out there.
You're nasty.
Red flag.
Ew.
I also just think you have a strange brain that pays attention to things.
other people don't.
Maybe you're a genius, actually.
But honestly,
maybe you're a rain, man.
Especially now,
a lot of people do have refs
that they prefer
to call their games.
Like before, especially in the...
For gambling?
For gambling, but also just like...
The superstition of it all?
Yeah, because of the...
I think because of the Chris Paul
and Scott Foster thing.
Oh, okay.
I feel like they have least favorite reps, though.
They're like, I don't want Scott Foster.
So I feel like everybody but Scott Foster
is more of the sentiment.
That's...
Well, I'm saying because of that relationship,
I think a lot of people rather like, oh, I wish we had such and such because the, the Knicks record is good whenever, you know, so-and-so is rough in our game.
So I do think this actually is something that is low-key bubbling up among, really, among like the sickos.
I've never heard that. That's crazy.
Okay. Next. They think Jalen Brown's overrated.
Well, see, I think Jailen-Brown's overrated.
For what reason?
But I don't think it's a green flag. I don't think it makes somebody better. I think it's just new.
It's just an opinion that I don't think says anything good or bad about you.
So I'm just go yellow.
I need to know why you think he's overrated.
Fair.
Because you could just be hating.
So you better tell me he turns a ball over too much.
Not he talks too much.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Okay.
Yeah.
I think he's inefficient, not a good playmaker and doesn't have, he turns a ball over too much.
I'm not like, you better get off stream.
Quit yapping.
Yeah.
It's different.
Yeah.
I think I almost wanted to give this a green fact because I'm like, yo, you're going to have to
explain this because you average what, damn we were 30 last year, second seed.
all that finals MVP
but there's more to it
I think I'm gonna give it a yellow flag
yeah okay so it can go either way
so yellow flag okay next
Bill Russell's
in their top five all time
and they're in their 20s
I think it's a green flag I don't think it's bad
I think the end of their 20s is funny
you're saying it's performative
I think you appreciate the goats and you've educated yourself
on the history of the game and you don't think they're just plumbers
and don't matter you realize you got to judge them
in their era I think it's a green flag
I have Bill Russell on my top five
But people do have that sentiment of like
You never watch this for it how can you even have an opinion
And that's dumb I've never shook hands of Beethoven
I guess so listen to that and be like
That's some good music that's the test of time
Now Beethoven's your favorite artist though
Yeah
Top five for him
Yeah well Bill Russell is not my guy
Have you heard Tedric Lamar like what the
I'm gonna give this a green flag too
It takes some real research and real like knowledge
You obviously take a lot of time out of your day
to really like analyze this career and all the things.
So I'm going to say the green flag.
It's unique.
Look at you trying to be different and it's working.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And I think the unique part of that is true.
We're like if you're in your twins,
you're not just going based off of what other people I've said is their top five.
You actually,
I'm assuming if Bill Russell is in your top five,
you've actually thought about it for more than two seconds.
And maybe it is performative and you're being pseudo intellectual or whatever.
I'd rather you do that and then work your way back to reasonableness.
than to just be like, those guys are plumbers.
That shouldn't matter.
Yeah.
But Russell's not top 20.
Like, I'd rather you be 19 years old, being too woke and then come back down to normal.
That's a better place to start.
Okay.
Next.
They leave games early to beat traffic.
Man, red flag.
Lame as hell.
It is lame as hell.
Most of the time, a good portion of the arena is leaving at the same time that you are.
So you still are going to have traffic.
And with as much as ticket prices cost now, you better.
State for that whole game.
What was the bad game?
Stay.
What if it's Hawks versus Bulls,
March 13?
This already made the cinema, though, for real.
First of all,
you knew that going in.
Yeah.
What if I plan to leave the fourth quarter going in?
I'm just dumbass?
You're a dumbass.
At that point in time,
you paid to watch three quarters of basketball and leave?
What the hell?
They got you.
You paid full price.
That's exactly what I was.
I wanted the pretzel.
Pritzel ain't that good, brother.
I just want to.
You can get, I want to take a pick for the gram and get out.
If you have an Instagram business account and you're,
you're making money off of that, cool.
Of making money off you're saying I'm out of game.
Yeah.
Okay.
Yeah, if you're taking like just hella aesthetic pictures, okay, cool.
But if you're paying, you're paying money for good seats just to get an IG pick,
that's bad seats.
What are their nosebleeds and they're cheap and they're $30 a day of?
$30 a day of.
Now at that point, we're talking principal.
It's no longer money.
It's just principal with the game.
It's respect for the game.
Yeah, I still think that's red flag.
Okay.
It's not on your, but what if you arrive the games late?
I hate that.
You're dumb as fuck.
I hate that much, much more than leaving the game early.
They start every NBA game late.
If you are late, you want it to be late.
And I just think you just, I don't trust you to do any plans.
Yeah, no, that's kind of embarrassing to come to an NBA game late, bro.
Yeah.
Okay.
Oh, I hate that.
It was also more embarrassing, too, is if, like, you do leave a game because it's somewhat of a blowout.
and then the one team starts to go on a run,
turn things around,
and you come back trying to find your seat or whatever.
Next to you know,
it's gone.
I got to seat out of place.
You look even more stupid.
Bro,
I've seen people show up late to games and leave early.
What?
Yes.
And at that point,
you got to be a season ticket holder for that to even be.
I'm just like, why are you here?
Didn't even try to be efficient today.
Yeah.
Okay.
Next.
KG's in their top 10 all time.
I've never seen that before.
Honestly, that's so fucking crazy that fucking green flag, you're a trouble blister.
You know something we don't.
I guess I got to give it to you.
It has to be a lot of context in your argument, but I want to see it be made.
Is he here in your top 10 pieces of?
No.
Like it's such an outlandishly unique take that like it's a red flag, but it's so red that it turns green.
Because I'm like, fuck it, you do your own thing.
It peaks my interest.
I'll say that.
Exactly.
And listen, I don't really care about the validity of your top 10.
I don't care about anybody's top 10 for real.
So it just interests me in a conversation and give me a reason to say, huh?
You're just trying to be unique, man.
You won.
Yeah, you win.
And I'm going to listen.
I'm going to ask questions.
I think it's, I think it's performative.
It's super perform.
You know?
And I, yeah, I think it's too much.
But sometimes there's like good performative.
There's a need for performative.
Yeah.
We need that in this world.
If everybody has the same top 10 and nobody's willing to say stupid shit for us to have
conversations about, what is this all for?
Yeah.
Performers got to perform.
They precisely.
They do.
They do.
We're watchers?
We need, we need discourse starters.
So I understand it.
but you're doing a lot.
Green flag for being so dumb
that is captivating.
I gave a green too.
It gets the people going.
Next.
They think Yokic is the greatest
offensive player ever.
It's fine?
Yellow, he's not,
but I think he's like top five
in the convo.
So if you want to say he's one,
I think you're a little too woke
and you'll probably realize
over time it's LeBron
or it's Jordan or whatever.
But he's close enough
that I'll give it a yellow flag.
If there's one thing
that Yokicch will have
a fair argument for it is
the greatest offensive player ever,
the shooting, the passing, the scoring inside,
playmaking on all levels is just ridiculous.
When damn near being so close to winning
fucking four straight MVP is insane.
That's fine with me.
This is the only stamp where I'm like, okay, like you got it.
He's definitely in the conversation.
He's definitely like surefire top five.
To sneak him into like, you call number one, it's fine.
I'm a, I'm a say green flag, but I will call you a nerd.
At the same time.
It's because it's so un-cooled.
Yeah, and that's just my only cap.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying yellow flag is that nerd stage is in me.
Like it's just fine.
Like you're just saying some regular.
The same.
It's a little interesting and a little overzealous, but like it's pretty regular.
I go yellow.
You said, be unique.
That shit don't impress me.
He says something crazy.
Say Tim Belk is the best officer player at all the time.
Yeah, let's get fucking freaking.
Tell me Wally Zerbiak was in the convo for best offensive players in the league at the time.
Tell me something crazy.
All right.
I'm with it.
Tell me Draymond Green was a top five officer player because he how he won the possession battle.
Tell me that.
Okay.
They think MVP's are more valuable than rings.
man
that's an interesting one
what does that say about them
for star players
that probably just says
your favorite player
is somebody who doesn't have rings
you're probably a James Hardin fan
yeah
red flag
you're probably intellectually dishonest
and you're just saying that
to big up your best player
if your player had a lot of rings
do you probably say the opposite
I think I'm gonna give this a yellow flag
because you're being true to yourself
and you care more about
individual accomplishments
than what everybody else going on
and you know what
you're honest with yourself
And you're telling on yourself.
Go watch boxing, buddy.
Go watch individual sports.
We don't do that here.
I can't align myself.
Go watch tennis.
But it's respectable.
I say yellow, you're trying to be anti-Rings culture.
And so you are trying to push for the certain narrative.
But you got to respect the race.
Ultimately, you're right.
I'm a fallback because no one is going into the year.
I actually would be like, who's going to win MVP this year?
And that's all that matters.
There's so much more the matters than that.
Yeah.
If you're pushing on ring culture, again, only people that say that are people,
whose favorite players don't have enough rings.
Yeah, you only play to win a championship.
Like, nobody's that passionately saying individualism matters more than team
accomplishment.
Yeah.
Anytime a player actively says first that they're gunning for MVP, I kind of, it gives me
the ick a little bit personally.
And I think the last time someone did it and actually did it was like, who, Joel
and B or something like that, I think.
To be wrong.
Yeah, it was like, gunning for him.
He is not, he is not sliding in Joel NB's D.M.
You're not trying to, you know, I'm not trying to.
Ike out.
Go to the U.S.
final.
That's it.
Really Anthony Edwards?
That's not really like grown and sexy of you man
You don't want to be?
Yeah 60 wins you want the MVP
Like 28 man like I'm sticking right?
Getting NBA X is hilarious
Yeah
That's real though
It's like you want MVP that bad
There's other things going on
Okay last one
They became a warrior's man after KD joined
That's that's so honestly
You're staring down the face of fire
Everybody in the world is telling you
do this and you're bitch made and you still want to do it no i don't know man that's crazy
that's not respectable it's not respectable it's not and for and for that alone it's a red
but it's that's so crazy because i know because now that you do that i know that for personal
gain you will do something not respectable you know you know what i think it's like that's such
a selfish move to to join to join the warriors bandwagon when they get kd yeah you are bypassing all of the
fandom pathways and you you know that you're gonna get a chip whenever whenever the team plays like
just not a fair human in society what if it just tells me that you don't care about people say
about you and you're just so tend there's other ways to do that then just standing on it again it reminds
that dude on the airplane me just yeah you're standing on a bad hill yeah you're standing on a bad
hill yeah you are bold you'll die on your hill but your hill is made a shit and you're only standing
on it because you know other people don't want to stand on it yes it's not it's a small amount of manure
It's not even a hill.
Yeah.
Perfect.
Red flag.
Red flag.
You're an idiot.
You're an idiot.
Yeah, just straight out.
I don't want to be around you.
You're an idiot.
He used to be saying itself just to say it.
Whatever the majority says, no matter what the context is, you're going the opposite.
Yeah.
That's what that tells me.
Yeah.
For no fucking reason, bro.
Just always playing devil's advocate for no reason.
Yeah.
You don't even believe in it, bro, at all.
That's worse.
That's hilarious.
All right.
But just to pose the other side.
Like, I got it.
Thank you.
