All right, so given that it's the last day of Black History Month, I think it's fitting that I react to the panel that I got to participate on on Fox News on the Faulkner Focus with Harris Faulkner, which was a phenomenal experience, by the way.
I really loved it.
And I think you guys will appreciate my additional thoughts that I wanted to share while I was on that panel.
I'll do it in this video.
So let's start the clip, and we will take it from there.
Watch.
Here on the Faulkner Focus February is an American History Month celebration of Black Americans,
who continue to do great things.
The latest census data show about 195,000 black-owned businesses in the United States
employing some 1.6 million workers, so that's the economy.
And in the nation's military, about 18% of active duty service members are black Americans across all branches.
And in political leadership in America, a growing embrace of the Republican Party
and more generally of American conservatism.
And the current Congress, there are five black Republicans that matches the record set in 2022 through 24 for the highest number of black GOP members since the Reconstruction era more than 150 years ago.
And when it comes to casting a ballot, so here we are with all the voters, what does that look like?
President Trump's share of the black vote grew significantly from 2016.
And you can see much of that was driven by black men.
Look at your screen.
Some voters began to see the Democrat Party.
taking their support for granted.
First, shout out to Officer Tatum,
because if it wasn't for him,
I would have never been on that panel.
So a big shout out to him.
And secondly, when I was on the panel,
my biggest takeaway wasn't even about your skin color,
whether or not you're a black conservative.
I really don't even like those terms.
What I like is focusing on the actual issue
that will drive people to vote for whatever party they think
is in their best interest.
And that currency regarding someone's ability to vote
is the economy.
It's never changed.
Now, I'm more to say on that, but I want to you guys to hear what Harris Faulkner had to say.
Take a listen.
A lengthy New York Times piece written after the last election lays out how the Harris Walls campaign didn't even bother to court the black vote until it was too late.
Here's a quote.
The chairman of a county Democrat Party in rural Georgia with many black voters said this.
The Harris campaigns get out the vote operation had been non-existent, even as he had pleaded for resources.
He told the Times, quote, they did nothing, absolutely nothing.
They thought those black voters are going to come home.
They will vote for Kamala Harris regardless because she is a black woman.
President Trump took no vote for granted.
A bit of his second inaugural address here.

New York Times article actually sums up what both parties do. Now, I just think Democrats are the
ones who do it more effectively. Again, I'm very fair here. I don't believe the Republican Party's
great at reaching out to different segments of the population. That's just my own personal opinion
on the matter. And Democrats totally are bait and switch liars. I mean, they want to use racism
to get people to come out and vote for them. So it's a total non-starter, in my opinion. Here's the
bottom line to it. I said it in the beginning. I'll say it again. The only thing that Congress
needs to get through their head, if they want to win elections, particularly Republicans,
focus on the economy, focus on job creation, focus on skills training, focus on things that I can
feel progress in. Okay. That's really the big thing here. Now, let's actually go to when,
I think it was April Chapman that was up first. I love what she had to say. Take a listen.
April, I want to start with something that you have said about Black History Month in particular
and why you think that it's incredibly important now for us to recognize it but to also know the truth.
Yeah, the truth is for so long, every time you've had a conversation about Black History Month,
it's always been us focusing on the oppression, focusing on slavery.
And it's not that that storyline is not true.
But it's something interesting that President Trump recently said he wanted to focus on the triumph, the valor,
the way that we showed up in the first Rhode Island and during the Revolutionary War and fought side by side with white men for the independence of this country.
Those are the things that I want to focus on, the Buffalo soldiers or the 54th, Massachusetts who fought in the Civil War, they fought and labored alongside other Americans to demonstrate that this country is as much ours as everyone else.
Yeah, so what Harris is getting at, why doesn't, you know, black Republicans or conservatives get more attention during Black History Month?
And I would just say it's really due to our institutions like academia, for an example, Martin Luther King Jr. has spoken about more than anybody else in history.
But one could argue he's at fault for what happened to the black community.
Let me explain.
He supported the great society welfare programs.
Now, what did that do to the black family?
threw it right in the trash, you know.
and before the Civil Rights Act, we had our own economy. Marriage rate was through the roof.
There was no such thing as a single parent household. I think it's something that should have happened
naturally. I've had this great conversation with a good friend. And I think what happened was it not only
was forced, but there was an overcorrection with the benefit programs. And I don't think that worked
out in the end. At any rate, I think if people actually talked about history by showing both sides,
more black Republicans would probably be mentioned in the conversation. Take a listen.
I want to put that question to everybody about.
this month, DeVorey? Yeah, to April's point, I think when you talk about black history,
you have to talk about all history, not history that is filtered through the lens of how someone
views their politics, but the actual reality of what happened. Black Republicans, black conservatives
play a huge role in black history. I don't think it actually gets enough attention.
Why do you think it doesn't? I think it's by intention. I think many on the left would rather
those in the black community see themselves as victims and never as victors. But when you look at
black history, there's no way to actually celebrate it without looking at the contributions of
black businessmen, black billionaires, black inventors, all of those things are part of not
just our history, but American history. But to go even further when you talk about the inclusion
of black conservatives in black history, you look at the teachings of folks like, you know,
Booker T. Washington and Martin Luther King Jr. who implored the black community to work hard,
to play by the rules, and to believe that the content of our character matter a lot more
than the color of our skin, those are conservative values. The left tells Black American,
that the most important thing to us is the color of our skin.
The Wright says the most important thing about you is the fact that you're an American
and you want to work hard and achieve the American dream.
Well, when you want to control somebody, you tell them that's the most important thing about
you to you.
You're right.
But actually, it's the most important thing about you to them.
Exactly.
Yeah.
All right.
So let me share this message from today's sponsor, which is super important.
We're talking about your personal data.
Because how many times have you received a spam call, spam text message?
And you're sitting there wondering, how did they get my information?

in the description below you have to protect your personal data because no one's going to do it for
you again that is orr.com for slash devori and when she said that it made me think about what
democrats are currently doing to our country politically they've taken the same playbook that they've
applied to the black community regarding voting, and now they're applying it nationwide.
They're telling everyone that they are a victim. They are oppressed.
Racism is coming after them. The president's going to deport you. And they're hoping through that
messaging with enough fear, people will not only believe it, but people will continue to vote for
them, even though the Democrat Party doesn't stand for anything. And let's not forget,
they essentially have moved on to illegal aliens. Let me know if you guys agree with that.
All right, let's go to this part of the segment where she wants to talk about the myths of black conservatives.
Take a listen.
Talk to me.
Let's do a little myth busting.
That's another thing I want to get to.
And I'll start right with you, C.J.
I think one of the biggest misconceptions about black conservatives is the fact that we are ashamed to be black.
I'm not ashamed to be black in any way whatsoever.
What I would be ashamed to be is a Democrat.
To continue to vote for a party that uses and abuses my community, sells us one dream and delivers us, delivers on it never.
Black lives don't ever matter to Democrats.
Only black votes do.
They think that they're entitled to our vote,
that they don't have to earn it.
And so I'm proud to be black.
I'm more proud of being American.
And honestly, I'm proud to never have ever voted for a Democrat
any day in my 23 years of liberal.
I was going to say you've only voted a couple times.
All right.
What about it?
Yeah, that was a really good funny moment.
In CJ Pearson, guys, I mean,
if you ever get the chance to meet him in a person,
you have to.
He's 23 years old.
as sharp as you can be at that age, and he's got a bright future.
At any rate, listen, I am not of the belief that a politician needs to pander, cater to a particular
group.
They need to cater to the issues, the currency of what makes someone get off their couch, go to the
ballot box, and cast their vote for that individual.
And I set it in the panel, and I'll say it again to you guys.
It's the economy.
You guys been watching my show for at least the past four months.
I've been screaming economy every single week.
All right, let's go to what April Chapman had to say.
And I love that because it's something I experienced probably at least once a week
where someone sends me a DM calling me a boot liquor or a sellout.
Take a listen.
And so to be a black conservative, I think the biggest myth is that we're the sellout,
but we're actually the ones that function in our freedom.
We're unafraid.
It takes an incredible amount of courage and bravery to go against your family,
to go against what everyone in your community is saying those people right there are the problem.
And you're like, no, I don't believe that.
And just to piggyback of what he said, I don't mind.
I dare you to judge me by the color of my skin.
There's nothing wrong with the color of my skin.
Underectimate me at your peril.
I see you, April.
But if you were to go to a progressive, particularly a white liberal today, according to their standards,
they've known more about being black.
And what black people go through, then black people themselves.
I mean, if you go to a university and ask a white liberal right now, hey, do you think black people can get an ID?
They'll tell you, oh, absolutely not.
Who do you think is going to get deported next?
Black people?
Who do you think is oppressed in this country?
Black people, that's what they will say.
It's because they're programmed.
They have done no critical thinking and no research.
They didn't even bother to actually go out to the black community and do a survey for themselves.
No, they just take exactly what they're told to think.
Again, that's the problem.
I just find that dynamic interesting, which pretty much led to why I had to make this point.
Take a listen.
Yes.
DeFore.
Yeah, I think one of the biggest myths I've heard is that we're looking for acceptance,
that black conservatives are looking for acceptance from white people.
The bottom line is if we needed acceptance, we'd actually be Democrats because that's their attitude.
We should be accepted and include it.
When really, I, in my mind, black voters just want economic freedom.
The Republican Party continues to live.
with that message, which is why they've been attracting young black men.
We already know the 10-point shift away from Democrats to Republicans over the past
four to five years.
And I think the results tell the story.
Economic freedom is what our focus is on, not the color of our skin.
So I'm glad I had time to make that point because I think when you're really talking about
voting in America and you start getting into the black community or black conservatives,
it has nothing to do with race.
It has everything to do with economics.
that's what actually matters.
A lot of black people, the way that I grew up, were into entrepreneurship, okay?
And the bottom line is they're going to lean towards Trump because they know he's a businessman.
They may hate everything else that he does.
But if he can do great armed business, he's always going to have people interested in him from the black community.
Now, my thing that I was left with while being on this panel, I wish we had more time to talk about this.
most people who are black were raised in a conservative home.
The black people watching my channel will confirm that in the chat.
We are raised on conservative principles.
We are raised on Christian values.
So the, I don't know if it's a paradox or I don't even know what the proper term would be,
but why is it that even though we're raised that way,
when they go to the ballot box, they still vote for Democrats overwhelmingly.
I still do not have an answer for you guys.
Maybe you might have an answer.
But overall, why don't you guys give me your guys' takeaways, reaction?
What did you think of the panel?
Did you think the questions were good or the answers?
Just let me know what you think about everything and put your answers in the comment section below.
All right.
Let's go to our next video.
This was just posted by the White House.
It's breaking news.
The Supreme Leader of Iran confirmed to be killed along with 40 other of the highest leaders in the Iranian government.
This is huge news today.
Here's what the president had to say.
he was one of the most evil people in history.
He's dead.
This is not only justice for the people of Iran,
but for all great Americans
and those people from many countries
throughout the world
that have been killed or mutilated by Hamonay.
Now, there's much more I got into
regarding that video.
So if you're interested, click on it
because it's coming up right now.
