California will never recover after this new law that targets ICE agents. Take a listen. California is a signature away from a bill that would ban hiring former ICE officers in state and local law enforcement. Governor Gavin Newsom has yet to say he'll sign it, although fellow Democrats easily passed that bill in the state assembly. The bill sponsor, Democrat Mark Gonzalez, says this, quote, These agents discuss me and they have no place, no right to serve the public here in California. So I am proud to stand with the speaker and drawing a line. If you want to choose violence, if you want to choose violent civil rights and follow blatantly racist orders from this oppressive federal administration, good luck finding a job here in the Golden State, end of quote.

These are the same individuals who say that President Trump is wrecking the economy, and they are the individuals to come in and fix it because they're all about the working class. They're all about making sure that people make a fair wage in our country and can provide for their family. but if you have a political disagreement with them, yeah, that doesn't apply to you. And that's essentially what they're saying to ICE agents. But things get worse as you truly hear the details of this bill. Take a listen. Well, Harris, it's not just ICE. Any agent involved in immigration enforcement under President Trump in this term, CBP, Border Patrol,

could not get a job, government job in California. And it's not just agents, but tech support and administrative staff. Why? Because Sacramento Democrats say they don't share. share California values. And anyone who is participating in these raids has shown that they do not live up to the bar that California's deserve from public servants. So President Biden also deported thousands of immigrants.

About 68% had no criminal charge or conviction in 2024. But Democrats here in Governor Gavin Newsom didn't challenge those removals as they have under Trump. Well, me and you both know why that is. Okay. This is more partisan politics than actually public safety. is concerned. And as I often tell you guys, the left is not, you know, obsessed with keeping people safe. They're obsessed with sending certain political messages that would keep them elected and in power and their ability to make more money because, as many and you both know, how much

money has been made on illegal immigration regarding these programs and these nonprofits and these NGOs. I think we can go on and on and on. But more importantly, why don't we hear from Tom Holman because he always has an interesting take about what's really happening on the ground regarding these mass deportation operations. Take a listen. Absolutely, I think it's a threat today. That's one of the reasons I came back. I'm in 1247. Because after four years of the Biden administration, we knew thousands of national security threats across that board. We know we got 2.1 million known Godaways. What I mean by that? We got them on drone traffic, central traffic, camera traffic, people to enter United States,

weren't arrested, weren't vetted, one finger credit, who are they? Where do they come from? And what's scarier is, you pay the cartels one amount of money to simply get to the border, see a green uniform turn yourself in, get released in 24 hours, get a flight to the city of your choice, get a free hotel room, get three meals a day, and get workoffers days after several months. Yeah, it's truly disheartening when you hear that as an American citizen. Even personally as myself as a veteran, I would argue illegal aliens are getting much more better resources than our own veterans.

And I'm not trying to be hyperbolic here, but listen, free shelter, free health care, free meals guaranteed, right? Anything you need, even down payment assistance on a home, we're here for you. Do veterans get that exactly? No. And even if we attempted to get things like that, it's going to be like pulling teeth. And here's the other thing that most people do not want to confront, which is the brutal of truth about how someone can cross the border illegally, appear to be fine as if they're following our laws, and then commit murder. I mean, that's just the reality of the situation.

And part of it is because there is no vetting system. There is no way to hold them accountable unless ICE is able to catch them on the streets. And we know that Democrats in St. Sanctuary City policies are doing everything they can to prevent that from happening. The bill passed on a party-line vote with police arguing. the ban disqualifies many potential hires. A male clerk or a janitor for DHS during the dates for the bill, they would be ineligible to become a California peace officer.

What you're doing is trying to put a scarlet letter on people that may have had nothing to do with some of the incidents you're talking about. Now, he's referring there to the fatalities in Minnesota, which Democrats here used to justify this bill, Harris. Question is, will other liberal states follow? This is a first of its kind. and will Governor Newsom signed it despite the likely court challenge? Well, no doubt it's going to be challenged in the courts and will probably be thrown in the trash in the end.

Similar to this whole mass mandate where they tried to ban ice from wearing masks, as you guys heard. They tried that in California. They tried it in New York and both times the Supreme Court struck it down. So this will probably meet the same fate because it's just a violation of law. And that's just the bottom line to it. But again, if they're willing to do this now, imagine what they're willing to do this now. imagine what they're willing to do when they get into power, right? I'm not looking forward to that, and that's why I hope we do win the midterms.

Now, I guess if you're looking for some type of silver lining in all of this, maybe this announcement will do it for you, and it's about Ilhan Omar's future. Take a look. One of the most outspoken progressives on Capitol Hill is under criminal investigation tonight. A top White House official tells Fox Minnesota Democratic Congresswoman Ilhan Omar is the target. Senior Foreign Policy correspondent, Jillian Turner, tells us what that's all about. Borders are Tom Homan confirms to Fox News an ongoing investigation into Congresswoman Ilhan Omar. If someone committed immigration violation, someone committed marriage fraud or anything like that,

regardless if they're a congressman or not, no one's above the law. Other cabinet officials have taken the accusations against her even further. We know that she married her brother to try to bring him in the United States. There may be more to this, the whole family migration, and possibly some illegal activity for them to come to the United States. The vice president said last March during a podcast interview, quote, we think Ilhan Omar definitely committed immigration fraud against the United States of America. Well, Omar and her husband divorced back in 2017.

Now, the U.S. government does have an official denaturalization process. It has not been widely used at all in the past. But Trump administration officials now say it could be applied to her to Ilhan Omar if she, indeed committed immigration fraud. Yeah, so all in all, I think there's a lot of immigration issues in our country, and let me give you a few of them. One, Ilhan Omar's situation in any other American who's done something similar. Two, H-1B visas and how much it has been abused by corporate America.

Three, sanctuary city policies that essentially allow criminals to hide out and do not corroborate even with murderers as far as handing them over to ICE agents. And that's just a few, by the way. we can get into census and we can get into all this other stuff, health care and free services. There is a lot, which is why I'm calling on the Republican Party. I'm calling on the Senate to do the right thing by the American people. And please do what you can to keep us safe. All right.

Next story. Shouldn't be a surprise, but it is one today coming out of New York City from the mayor. He has decided, since we're talking about immigration, to sue the administration that is President Trump over his immigration executive order. Take a look. New York City Mayor's Rahamam Dani and the state attorney general, Letitia James, are actually at City Hall announcing the details of this lawsuit. As you said, it's expected to impact immigrant communities here in New York City, but also across several other cities around the United States. In fact, the state attorney general's lawsuit is being joined by 22 other states

that are also joining in this legal action. Now, as you said in the beginning, this is all related to what is known as the public charge rule. The public charge rule has been in the books for a long time as part of immigration enforcement law. But the Trump administration is expanding it and it's giving immigration officers wide discretion to determine whether a person may become dependent on government benefits at some point. And based on that, the officer would have the ability to deny either their green card, their visa, or their entry into the United States. All right. Number two would be cracking down on student visas and other visa programs. Again, I think the biggest criticism of this administration in regards to you, immigration, it would be H-1B visas, and the refugee program for, you know, individuals from South Africa. For some reason, they're allowed to come, but nobody else is.

But, okay, bottom line is, I didn't the administration is trying to do whatever they can to slow the, the migration as we know it, by introducing these different barriers. And some people may call it cruel, but I think this is exactly what our country needs as we take time to truly vet who's in our country. But that's not what Mondani believes. Here's what he actually believes. Take a look. Make no mistake. This is an undisguised effort to strip New Yorkers of the services they rely on. The public benefits they are entitled to. Families, including those with children who are U.S. citizens, have already begun to forego essential services like SNAP, Medicaid, and affordable housing out of the fear that if they use these programs, immigration

officers could use it as justification to deny them a future in our country. The toll of this new rule cannot be overstated. It is estimated that up to 4 million people from across the country could unenroll from their health care alone, including 1.8 million children. And that is the crux of America's argument regarding immigrants in America who are here illegally, is that we already have problems with resources. What do I mean by that? Well, the quality of the resources, the access of the resources seem to be very easy as relates to being a legal alien. But if you're an American citizen, yeah, you could actually face some barrier, sort of speak. And then here's the other thing, the cost. So who's paying for these programs,

exactly, Mondani? Right. Who's going to have to pay for them? Not you. The taxpayer will have to pay for them. And so shouldn't the taxpayer have a say and what should be going down, especially in their local jurisdictions? I don't think the mayor cares about that at all. I think me and you both know that. But let's go to this public advocate by the name of Waman Williams, who says that these policies are straight up cruel. The purpose of this is cruelty. That's it. Cruelty and fair. That is the purpose of all of these immigrant decisions that are coming from the Trump White House and absolutely nothing else, particularly to non-white immigrants. I want to be clear about

that. And I say that every single time Donald Trump has said that only people who need assistance are white South Africans. Everyone else is left to fend for themselves. Again, that's why I told you guys, it's a legitimate criticism from the administration. I mean, optics-wise, it doesn't work in our favor to make the argument, right? When you're allowing people from South Africa to potentially immigrate here, you know, whether it's justified or not, it doesn't matter. I think we should be cold turkey with it. Just cut it all off. Nobody's coming into this country. I think a lot of conservatives out there actually agree with me on that. But, case you needed another reminder of why New York City is in trouble, why them pushing back on a

policy like this puts people's safety at risk, just go back to Mondani and who he really is and what he had to say about what he wanted to do with America. Take a listen. We came here to remake the state in the image of our people. Okay. Yeah, I mean, that is your exclamation point to this entire story. That's who Mondani is. That's who he's always been, and he will continue to be that way, even though he may appear like a sheep in wolf's clothing. That's the way that I'm going to put it, because that's exactly what it is.

Listen, yeah. So again, we just have to bleed them. Yeah. And that is the exclamation point to the story and what is in store for people in New York City. I don't wish ill will on New Yorkers whatsoever. And I don't want Mondani to go down this road as he continues to sympathize and,

capitulate with his radical friend's supporters. Not every one of them, but some of them clearly have been misguided. Just see Scott Galloway as an example of that. But I think when you're talking about public safety, partisan politics should be removed. Accountability should be number one in the book. You cross that border illegally. You commit a crime. You're done.

I don't understand why that is even part of this debate. Now, let's go to our final update. And this is breaking news. Yes, Mitch McConnell is alive. and well, and there's video footage of that. Take a look. Senator McConnell, how you feeling, Senator McConnell? How you feeling Mitch?

You feeling all right, Mitch? Good. Are you feeling good, Mitch? Give us a thumbs up. Number one, I'm happy that he's actually alive. I mean, imagine if he wasn't, the crisis that we would have on our hands. The scandal would be just out of this world.

So I'm happy about that, number one. Now, number two, I'm unhappy that he's still serving in Congress. I mean, come on, guys. Can we just be honest here? There needs to be age limits. Is that fair to say? You know, I understand the president's position, which is there shouldn't be any age limits because some people who are 90 years old may be sharper than someone who's 60 years old.

I actually agree with him on that. But if I'm thinking about generalities and probably what's in the best inches of what we've seen moving forward, yeah, I think we should probably have some age limits. And again, is this going to make a difference in regards to passing the Save America Act and whatever the Senate has failed to do up to this point? Probably not. The senator was seen leaving his house last hour, then on the Senate floor moments ago in this wheelchair. Let's get right to see it as Manu Rajah on Capitol Hill.

Manu, did McConnell speak when he got up to the hill. He did. He made some brief remarks to reporters. Jake did not answer any questions. I tried to ask him if he should have been more transparent about his illness. Remember what happened here is on June 14th this year. That's when he was rushed to the hospital after what he later disclosed, actually about almost a month later, on July 12th, he disclosed that he had fallen at his home and that he had later suffered a case of pneumonia, then had to go to rehab and was out of commission, and eventually discharged back home while he continued to recover all throughout the summer and now peering back in the Senate for the first time. But the way he has handled it has spawned so many questions, so many speculations about him.

And conspiracy theories have flourished as well, but McConnell has provided very little information and talked about his decision to come back today and brief remarks to reporters telling a group of us, I must admit, after two years, two decades, actually of dodging your questions. I wasn't sure how many of you would be here today, but I'm glad to see you. Time to get back to work, finish the job for this Congress. Yeah, and the CNN goes on to report that Mitch McConnell is supposed to be focusing on passing, the foreign bill. Too bad, the other pieces of legislation isn't on his priority list like the Save America Act, the Clarity Act, which talks about crypto, and also Pelosi Act, which would ban stock

trading. So, excuse me, if, you know, I'm not very confident, he's going to get in there and make a difference for the Senate, who, in my opinion, has failed the American people so far this year. But let me get to my takeaway for this entire video. So California is true. truly assaulting the American people, particularly Californians. There's just, the, the legislator truly does not know about improving the well-being of people in California. I think that's very clear, because everything they've done has actually done the opposite. The only people's lives, they're actually improving or illegal aliens.

And Californians need to wake up. And I'll just leave it there. Secondly, this whole situation that we find ourselves in with Ilhan Omar, me and you, No, she's probably not going to get arrested, all right? So I'm not even going to get my hopes up there. And Mondani, are he shocked here? Okay, does he really care about public safety? I don't think so.
