And another violent teen takeover in Chicago, five officers were run over by a vehicle.
This comes as Mayor Brandon Johnson continues to chastise people who are criticizing teen takeovers in his city.
And the state of Massachusetts has been caught up in another fraud scheme.
This time it involves overtime pay and a major update regarding Iran.
Let's start with Chicago.
Take a listen.
Breaking news on the city's west side.
Five Chicago police officers were heard after they were struck by a driver.
It happened near Roosevelt and Loomis in Little Italy neighborhood.
We're told the officers were on foot dispersing a large gathering at the time.
The driver, an 18-year-old man, was taken into custody and charges are pending.
At last check, all the officers were in fair condition.
So this is a major blow to the Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson because he spent a great deal amount of time over the past few weeks policing people's vocabulary when describing the teen takeovers in Chicago and spent no time.
trying to prevent it from happening.
So this teen takeover happens over the weekend.
And in the course of the police trying to do their job,
five of them were struck by some criminal, I guess,
who wanted to take them out.
And I guess the good news here is that the officers survived.
So that is a good thing here.
And one more thing to note so you guys are aware,
the officers were helping to disperse a large crowd at 3.20 a.m. in the morning.
But let me be absolutely clear.
Remember when we had multiple arrests at a gathering?
And then another gathering happened the following week.
If we believe that we can arrest our way towards safety, we're wrong.
We ask police officers to do too much.
At some point, adults have to work hard to help raise their children.
I want you to replay what he just said in your mind.
His official theory of the case is that arrest happened and then nothing changes.
and that's being offered as his main defense, not the indictment of what's going on in his city.
So we shouldn't arrest anybody because nothing changes. That's his stance.
Now, listen, I'm not an expert on policing. Maybe you aren't either, but I would like to believe both of us have common sense.
And common sense says, if someone commits a crime, they should be arrested.
I mean, I don't, so no arrest? I mean, in a city who's had multiple arrests and 21 people shot at,
over a weekend. Yeah, I think at a minimum we should be arresting and removing these people from
the streets. Is that the wrong point of view to have on this? Is that the wrong strategy? I'll tell you
what is the wrong strategy, the one that he's deploying that clearly isn't working because
things are getting worse. Officers say around three in the morning, that's when they were in the
area near 25th in Washington. That's when they did hear gunshots. Officers say they did find those four
victims among those who were shot include an 18-year-old two 16-year-old girls and a 14-year-old boy.
They were all taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where they are currently being treated.
It's still unclear what exactly led up to the shooting.
And at the scene, there were lots, there was lots of debris and also trash scattered on the ground.
Officers could also be seen escorting two people in handcuffs.
It's unclear if they are facing any charges.
Now, investigators say the shooter ran away from this.
employees are asking the public to come forward with any information.

21 people were shot over the weekend. Children were among them. Five officers were ran over by
vehicles. Teen takeovers happened again. And the mayor spends more of his time trying to police
the speech regarding what's happening in his city and screaming about President Trump than doing
the thing he was elected to do. It's not an opinion. Just look at the results. You judge things
in our country based on the results. And the results show that things have gotten worse since
Lori Lightfoot. And we thought she was bad. And she's bad. There's no doubt about it.
Financially, she was the worst of them. But the bottom line here is if you really do believe in
helping these communities, especially the black community, because I know Democrats like to
speak on things in regards to race, one could argue that brand.
and Johnson has utterly failed in that department.
So I just really feel like we should focus more on giving them things to do in the summertime
and stuff like that to keep them busy, but they don't have to feel like they got a plan to takeovers to have fun.
Okay.
Any other questions being?
I would say I really don't know much about Confucius because I wasn't one of those teams who would be outside for real.
Like, I wasn't raised for that.
But one thing I would say is that I wouldn't think that it would because some people home, we're trying to escape home.
You know, teens try to escape home.
So I feel like a curfew, it might be little bit because while you're trying to keep someone in the house, they could be with a safe space organization.
Now, those were two teenagers who were at this summer safety event that the Chicago mayor was hosting in response to teen takeovers.
there's a curfew in effect.
And clearly you heard them state that, hey, teenagers need something to do.
And curfews are not helpful because we feel that we're not going to be able to escape our home.
And right there is the tell, ladies and gentlemen.
No politician, no government's going to fix what's broken inside someone's home.
It goes back to the fall of the family.
It goes to the fall of marriage.
It goes back to the unwillingness to police up our own communities.
This is not a black issue. This is just in general a cultural issue in America.
Certain cultures don't have a problem in this way because they have different paradigms and different
beliefs systems about how children should be raised within their communities.
Unfortunately for the black community, we have the lowest single parent household.
We have the highest births out of wedlock.
And when those two things continue to trend in those directions, you will continue to hear
things like you heard from that young woman.
and you will continue to see terrible behavior explode in these cities.
All right, let's go to our next update.
This is in regards to Massachusetts.
The governor has been exposed for defrauding taxpayers.
This investigation came from a local affiliate.
It took seven months to actually get this done.
And here's what they came up with.
Take a look.
Outrage over our investigation into taxpayer-funded overtime in Massachusetts
is growing last night.
25 investigators revealed the results of a six.
seven-month undercover probe of state highway workers.
Investigative reporter Ted Daniel found time on the clock does not always appear to equal
time on the job.
As Ted explains, the fallout from his reporting is also growing.
It's been a week since we first presented our findings to MassDOT.
The agency initially denied my request for an on-camera interview, but 16 hours
after our story aired, I got a call inviting me to speak with the department's second and
command. He says the state has brought in an outside investigator, and he promises to run this to the
ground. It's outrageous. These guys are, these are, these are, this is tax dollars. This is public
trust that we have with these guys. Mass shots Jonathan Gulliver, echoing the hundreds of comments on
25 investigators deep dive into apparent overtime discrepancies at this highway maintenance depot in
Charlestown. A seven-month hidden camera investigation tracked departure times of some of the
highest paid highway maintenance workers in the state from a garage overlooking the facility.
You see, this is why when people attacked Nick Shirley and said that what he was doing was
wrong and he was amplifying it in the incorrect way. No, we should be thanking someone like Nick
Shirley and we should be hoping someone like Nick Shirley shows up to Boston and blows up this
case right here because all around America, scams like this is happening with our tax dollars.
And the local people may complain about it. Some of them may be.
be unaware of it. And here's the other thing. If someone is making $84,000 as their base salary,
but they cleared 240 and everybody up the chain of command signed off on those hours,
yeah, you have a major scandal on your hands. And that's exactly what's going on here. Take a look.
Are you working all the hours you say you're working? I don't know.
None of them could explain why they've been billing taxpayers for eight hour overtime shifts,
paid it time and a half on timesheets, though our cameras showed them leaving hours earlier.
Their time got approved all the way up the chain of command.
How is this getting approved? Why did it take us to catch this?
There is very clearly a breakdown there that happened. We don't know where it happened yet.
That's part of why we're going to go through that investigation. But my expectation is that we're going
to see that there was some supervision lapsing here. And whatever nature that took,
we're going to hold them accountable.
The workers we monitored with the smallest amount of O.T. walked away with almost 100 grand in overtime last year.
The highest earner, statewide, made a total salary of 240K, or nearly three times his base pay with overtime.
Among other things, Gulliver says he's directed supervisors across the agency to ensure overtime hours claimed are actually worked.
In most cases, you follow most of our guys around.
The only thing you're going to get is tired.
They work really hard.
And to have these guys be apparently cheating the system, again, it's absolutely outrageous.
But you know what I find more outrageous is that they're going to play dumb and act like no one ever knew about this.
That only the local affiliate news channel was the one who was aware of this.
No, people are aware, but they looked the other way.
That's point number one.
Point number two, this is why the government from the federal level down to even the city level cannot be trusted with tax dollars.
because everywhere you look, they are defrauding the people of those areas.
Every single time.
And that's why we have to hold these people accountable.
And the best way to do that is to vote them out of office.
That's clear as day.
And of course, the governor, she does exactly what I said.
She plays dumb.
Take a listen.
I think that Secretary Gulliver addressed what he's doing.
Look, I'm outraged.
I mean, look, anytime somebody is,
is ripping off the public, rip it off taxpayers.
I'm outraged.
And, you know, I hope whatever the investigation yields,
know that they're going to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
Do you believe higher-ups were complicit in this,
or were they just asleep at the switch?
Don't know enough yet.
But I have directed Secretary Glover to get to the bottom of all of this.
And, you know, like I have zero tolerance for this.
You know, as a former Attorney General,
I prosecuted cases of fraud, including against public employees.
And I'll make sure that happens now.
If people are screwing around, they're not at work, they're not where they're supposed to be,
it's outrageous.
And I work with people across state government, local government, federal government,
who show up every day and do their jobs and work really hard.
And that's what the public deserves.
That's what the public expects.
But boy, when I saw that, I went through the roof.
And so, yeah, I mean, they're going to, I'm sure people will lose their jobs, and I'm sure that people will face some criminal investigations and prosecution.
But if only that same standard applied to her, because she's been caught literally doing some fishy things, particularly illegal immigration.
And that takes us to this other update regarding Massachusetts.
So it has been reported that this governor is giving illegals $30,000 to move into housing that is already.
paid by the taxpayers. Yes, you heard me correctly. Take a listen to this. The Massachusetts GOP is
criticizing Governor Morahili over a new report that shows shifting shelter costs to the state's home-based
program. The program provides rental assistance to migrant families. According to the report,
Massachusetts is on pace to spend $97 million on the home-based program in the current fiscal year.
The state spent approximately 9.5 million on housing at-risk families.
Massachusetts Republican Party chair Amy Carnivali released a statement following the release of the report,
saying in part, quote, as much as Maura Healy would like the public to think that she's improving the system,
the data tells a different story.
Massachusetts is spending near $100 million on this program.
$100 million.
dollars. I don't understand it. In fact, oh, wait a minute, I do understand it because behind these
things, someone is making a lot of money. And that's usually what you're seeing with the
nonprofits and NGOs across the country. When you find that these programs are getting all
of this money, usually someone on the back end is getting that money. That's usually the way that
works. And the fascinating part about it is I wonder do they spend the same amount of money for our
women in the armed forces when they get out, our veterans. I'm just asking. All right. If you're
from Massachusetts, I'm sure you will let me know. All right, let's move to our next story. This is
President Trump. This is another response to what's happening with Iran. We talked about it yesterday,
as I warned you, every single announcement that comes out does not end up becoming a reality.
And in fact, it's now to a point where the president has called out people on both sides of the
issue because both sides have been critical of the announcement the president made in regards
to finally ending this war.
Let's go to this update now.
Take a look.
There were a lot of forces trying to stop him or warn him not to make a deal with Iran for
various reasons, including within his party.
There were messages from Lindsey Graham, Ted Cruz.
How difficult is it for President Trump to get to this deal, knowing that there are those
who think he's not going far enough?
and yet also within his party, those who are saying we need to get a deal, not just but also because of the midterms coming up and oil prices.
How is he making this, how is he striking this balance?
It's a great question. And look, it's a complicated decision for President Trump because the reality is he understood from the very beginning before Operation Epic Fury began that Iran was trying to obtain a nuclear weapon.
And that is the reason that operation started. And we saw the extensive airstrikes that decimated the Iranian.
military infrastructure went after many of the naval sites, much of the Navy now resting at the
bottom of the sea. But there is this broader question now about the implementation of a possible
deal. So let's make sense of this. So the president comes out yesterday, as you guys know,
because we talked about it and saying that a deal to end the war officially has been largely
negotiated. Those are the words that he used. So most people think, what, 70, 80 percent? Okay.
And so then what happens is after that announcement into this morning, you have a bunch of rhinos essentially saying, hey, wait a minute, this deal has to be this way.
And if this deal doesn't include X, Y, or Z, then this is a waste of time.
So there wasn't a lot of support or optimism from Republicans who have been very vocal on the issue with Iran.
In fact, these are the same people who would love to probably extend this.
We're talking about the Lindsey Graham's of the world and Ted Cruz.
And of course, the people on the left, particularly Democrats, they're repeating the same thing they've always said is that the president doesn't have the authority, that he's been doing this illegally.
You know, his power needs to be rained in, et cetera, blah, blah, blah, blah.
And of course, this all comes as gas prices are continuing to be high.
And something's got to give.
And so that takes us to the statement that the president put up on true social this morning telling people to pipe down.
From what you've heard about this deal, would you support it?
It doesn't make sense to me.
I'm not too far away from where Pompeo is, to be honest with you, and I support what Chairman
Wicker says. Look, we were told about 11 weeks ago by Hegsseth and the Department of Defense
that they had obliterated Iran's defenses, and it was just a matter of time before we had the
nuclear material. Now we're talking about a posture where we may accept the nuclear material
remaining in Iran. How does that make sense at all? Also, a 60-day ceasefire and expecting that they're
going to clear the Strait of Hormuz before the U.S.
terms of the deal are established also seems questionable to me.
There are a lot of things that need to be explained.
And as I've said before, any agreement with Iran that isn't subject to ratification by Congress
is going, I think, going to be doomed to fail just like the agreement we're trying to replace,
which was the failed agreement by Obama.
Yeah, so that's an example of what we were saying regarding some rhinos out there who are
skeptical of this deal.
So that particular statement I referenced was that.
this one. If I made a deal with Iran, it would be a good and proper one, not like the one made by
Obama, which gave Iran massive amounts of cash and a cleared open path to a nuclear weapon.
Our deal is the exact opposite, but nobody has seen it or knows what it is. It isn't even fully
negotiated yet. So don't listen to the losers who are critical about something they know nothing
about, unlike those before me who should have solved this problem many years ago.
And then he followed up by posting this.
And so he's continuing to do what he's always done, which is, you know, he puts out multiple statements.
He keeps people's on their toes.
They have no idea, okay, is this coming to an end?
And so that's just been his main thing on true social, as you guys are aware.
Now, let's go to Cory Booker, so you guys can get both sides of this.
Here's what he had to say.
Just ask you a question about Iran, because obviously we're still waiting for details.
So there's so much I can ask you.
but it appears to include a 60-day ceasefire,
this memorandum of understanding with Iran,
reopening of this traitor Hermuz,
an Iranian commitment to not pursue nuclear weapons.
Now, the president's been very critical
of the deal that Obama struck with Iran.
Is this better than the deal Obama got with Iran?
So we haven't had an official briefing,
but this is what I'm seeing
that has me so outraged right now,
is the president said he went into this
to deal with their nuclear program.
This does not deal with that.
Before he became president the first time,
they had no highly enriched uranium. They had sent it out. Now they have it because of him.
Number two is he criticized roundly that the deal that got rid of their nuclear program,
or at least her highly enriched program, involved getting $50 billion for Iran.
Well, already the president's balance sheet is letting more than $14 billion go through,
that during this conflict he allowed them to sell oil. And this deal alone,
easing of sanctions on Iran, allowing them to get billions of more. The same deal he criticized,
he's already doing worse than.
Giving Iran more money, as he has said,
will allow them to do things like fuel their proxy,
terrorist proxies.
That's why this war is wrong.
Listen, commonsense says that what Senator Cory Booker
was just spewing there, a bunch of lies,
and it's what they've been saying for quite some time.
And this is a party who was, in my opinion,
softer on the country of Iran.
I think that is an objective fact.
But I also think,
at the same time domestically, high gas prices is not a easy thing to defend.
And I think as the days go on and the time goes on and the months go on, it's something that
will accelerate to become a major problem for this administration, which I think that's why
there's an urgency to get this done, but to get it done in the right way.
And of course, you're going to have people who defend the president and double down on the
statement that this is nothing close to what Obama did with Iran.
And so let me give me an example that.
This is Marco Rubio saying this earlier today.
I don't think anyone's been tougher on the Iranian nuclear ambition than President Trump.
I understand.
Again, I don't know what some of these individual comments have been from different sectors of our politics in the United States.
But I will say this, there is no one who has been stronger on this issue than President Trump.
Multiple political leaders, multiple presidents of the United States have all said the same thing.
Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon.
The only one has tried to do anything and has actually done anything about it in a real way has been.
President Trump. So his commitment to that principle that they'll never have a nuclear weapon shouldn't be
questioned by anybody. And the idea that somehow this president, given everything he's already
proven he's willing to do, is going to somehow agree to a deal that ultimately winds up putting
Iran in a stronger position when it comes to nuclear ambitions is absurd. That's just not going to
happen. All right. So having said that, given your guys' reaction in the comments section,
to blow to what happened in Chicago over the weekend as teen takeovers continue to take place, five officers
were ran over and 21 people shot, then react to this thing with Iran and the scam happening
out of the state of Massachusetts. If you did get value from today's video, make sure you
