In today's video, we have a major update regarding the illegal immigrant who killed the woman in Florida.
He was granted temporary protective status under the Biden administration.
Also, we'll be talking about the Teachers Union out of Chicago who will be protesting on May 1st with students against the Trump administration.
Hakeem Jeffries, his next target is Pete HECSeth for impeachment.
Let's start with what's happening in Chicago. Take a listen.
The Chicago Teachers Union today posted on social media, quote, on May 1st, we take action together.
Through our collective bargaining, we secured the ability to stand united on May Day with no school, no work, no shopping.
But a memo from CPS CEO McLean King that we saw on Wednesday appeared to suggest otherwise.
It says, quote, the district's position is to remain open on May 1st.
But King decided to punt the question to the Chicago Board of Education.
The Chicago Teachers Union claims they should be able to switch a planned professional development day from June to May 1st.
That would give kids the day off and teachers the ability to attend those May Day protests in favor of labor and against President Trump.
All right. So this is the type of story that really gets me going. And I think you guys will understand why pretty quickly. So let's go through the facts up front.
One, they're protesting on May 1st against the Trump administration and ICE, meaning they're going to pull kids out of school.
They're going to continue to indoctrinate them in order to protest against the president. Point number two, the problem with,
with this thinking is they're not protesting for better funding, better desk or supplies or smaller
classrooms and more benefits for teachers. No, they're protesting the Trump administration.
Guys, this brings you to point number three. This is not a teachers union or Chicago public
schools organization. We're talking about a political activist organization at this point. And guess what?
Those are not my words. I will show you what the president had to say about
political activism and how much money they're spending on that in Chicago. But before we get to that,
let's back up our sentiment with this report that was discussed on News Nation last night. Take a listen.
No group has been more embattled since COVID than a group we all have a connection to, which is
teachers. A lot of these kids don't know how to read because they have had things read to them
or they can click a button and have something read out loud to them. Their attention
spans are weaning because everything is high stimulation. When I say technology is the problem,
I mean every student doesn't have an intention span. They don't know like real true work. We are asking
to make enough money so we don't have to work two, three, four jobs just to survive, just to
survive. And other than parents, no group is more important for the future of our country than teachers.
They are still a political punching bag. Many have brought that upon themselves, like the Chicago
Teachers Union who wants to be paid and get time off to protest ICE while it's.
at the same time, students in Chicago struggle to read and do math at grade level.
Fewer than one and three students read at grade level in Chicago.
Some schools, not a single child reads at grade level.
So it's truly a national disgrace.
Fewer than one and three students in Chicago can read at a grade level.
And the union's solution is to take a day off to protest the Trump administration and federal
immigration laws.
This is the bottom line, folks.
The Teachers Union out of Chicago has decided that political active,
is more important than basic literacy.
And here's the other thing.
The Chicago Public Schools president or whoever's in charge, Mrs. King, had the opportunity
to stop this from happening.
And you know what she ended up doing in the end?
She folded because she had to bend the need to the mayor, Brandon Johnson, because as you
guys heard in that first clip, he probably threatened her.
This is why they're saying this at this point.
Take a listen.
To a story we told you about at 5 o'clock, we reported about the Chicago Teachers Union
demanding to cancel school on May Day.
And now we're hearing from multiple members of the CPS school board
that tell our political reporter Marianne Ahern
that the CPS CEO has changed your mind
and will agree to close school on May 1st.
CTO filed a grievance and the board in closed session
decided on making May 1st a no student attendance day.
Still no official word from CPS, but we're of course going to follow it.
Yeah, so she has been the knee.
And this is another affirmation that the children in Chicago are being failed by their leaders.
Now understand the hierarchy here. You have obviously the mayor. You have the teachers union, right? And then you have the Chicago Public School.
Okay. So it was the Chicago public school that pushed back on the teachers union when it came to this.
And then obviously in the end, they bent the knee. And so now we're going to have this protest on May 1st.
That really is a waste of time for everybody involved. I'd wonder how much money,
are they spending on it? I think that's a better question, right? But why don't we go to the Chicago
Teachers Union Vice President who was interviewed about this? And let's see if their rationale for
making this decision actually makes sense. Take a listen. We're talking about Mayday. We just took a
vote overwhelming. All our leaders across CPS saying no work, no school, no shopping in the vein of
what Minneapolis did on 123 because we want ice out of our cities. We want to preserve and save and
advance our democracy. We want to tax the rich for our people. What do you all think? What's May Day
about? May Day is about democracy. And we need to make sure that our voices are heard, that we're
marching on the streets, that we're not shopping. We're not going to work. People need to understand
that when we withhold our labor, we can make an impact. When we withhold our attendance and our
participation in this economy, we make an impact. And that billionaires and millionaires don't
keep the world turning. We do. And May Day is an opportunity for us to show that. Ice can no longer
come in and terrorize our communities. We need to stop spending billions of dollars on bombs
that are killing children and families. We need to be able to have diplomacy in this moment, seek
global peace, and make sure that we're fighting for affordability in the moment where it means the
most. The history of May Day is alive today. May Day is anti-war. May Day is anti-genocide. May Day is
pro-worker, and that's why we need to keep doing this. May Day is an international holiday for a
reason, but it started right here in Chicago, and we need to bring it hard.
home on May 1st. And what that means
no work, no school. May Day
is a perfect opportunity to do
this around the country where we say
no work, no school, no
shopping. It all stops.
And as you heard through the explanations,
none of it really makes sense because
in the end, the results show
that priority number one for them
is to protest the federal government
regarding things that they cannot
control, instead of focusing on
things they can control within the
classroom. I mean,
That's what common sense says, right?
I mean, don't you think the now of the child's development is much more important than what the president's doing?
I don't know.
Chicago, they never cease to amaze this at all, especially this other report where they're continuing to spend $700,000 a day on illegal aliens.
These South and West Side homeowners are angry.
Protect blackoutes to be Chicago.
They believe the city has overextended itself and should be putting the tens of millions of dollars earmarked for migrants into Chicago's most vulnerable neighborhoods.
The group says the city has abandoned its Invest Southwest Initiative, a Lightfoot era program that was dedicated to reversing decades of disinvestment on Chicago's South and West Sides, promising to align more than $2.2 billion through public and private funding.
We are taxpayers, we're property owners. Our money should go to us fixing our community.
The city has received more than 15,000 migrants since August 2022.
In a statement from the mayor's office about the group's concerns and the status of Invest Southwest,
a spokesperson says in part, quote,
we are committed to continued investment for all residents,
but especially communities on the south and west sides that have long experienced disinvestment.
We are the city of Chicago,
and our shoulders are big enough to support both new arrivals and those who have long called this city home.
There's no question that the money is there when you're spending,
$700,000 a day. I mean, what is that in a year? Let's just do the math for you really quickly here. So $700,000 times 365
gives us $255 million. I think they have plenty of money to improve the quality of education in Chicago,
but they're not going to do it because they'd rather do what Marxists do, what communists do,
which is to essentially gain more government power and turn everyone into a slave,
That's why they're not going to give these teachers what they truly need.
That's why they're not going to crack down on sanctuary city policies.
They will continue to expand it.
It's more money going into the pockets of the people who are really behind this stuff,
whether it's the real estate developers, whether it's the mayor himself, or the people
who serve in these leadership positions that are pushing all of this.
They're getting theirs in the end, but not that child in that classroom.
I think that is really the issue here.
So why don't we go to this next clip where the president of the teachers union admits that this is a political organization.
Take a listen.
You say you're not a political organization.
Now, granted, they're conservative groups that have put this out.
But, I mean, there was one study that showed 80% of your spending is on political activity.
You're a political party.
Our activity in this union is to secure contracts that provide smaller classes all across this city.
all across the city with limits for the first time ever.
Our political activity is to ensure that black students have a success plan
in order to undo the harm of years of marginal educational opportunities.
Our political activity is to make sure that our lowest wage workers,
black women who live on the south and west sides of Chicago
have a wage in which they can pay their rent,
they can go to the grocery store and that they can maintain a standard of living.
Our political work is to ensure that women have the ability to sustain life without a husband.
Okay, so there is a lot there.
So please be patient with me as I work through what we just heard.
Chicago Public Schools is a diverse, large urban district where as of late of 2024,
Hispanic students make up the largest group at 47 percent,
followed by black people at 35%, then white at 11%, an Asian American at 4.5%.
So what marginal opportunities are we talking about here?
The marginal opportunities that you guys continue to perpetuate?
I mean, when I hear the words that you're more focused on ensuring that women teachers can
support themselves instead of a husband, I think we know where your mindset is at.
It's on feminism.
This is exactly what's wrong.
They're so caught up in woke ideology and not actually doing the work that they're supposed to be doing for these children.
Now, the other interesting thing that she said is 80% of their budget goes to political activity.
She didn't even deny it.
This is where your money's going, Chicago.
This is exactly what you want.
Do you really believe the teachers union who's spending 80% of their budget on political activity is really improving?
the well-being of their teachers and improving the quality of education.
No, they're not.
They're improving the bank account, if that makes sense.
Did I mention these are black people, obviously, right?
That's a whole other thing.
Let me stop.
I mean, is there a possibility that the CTEU will back someone other than Brandon Johnson for mayor?
I don't even know why that would be a question.
I imagine you want the governor to back the million.
If he runs for president, will you support him?
Look, this isn't about politics.
This is about people getting what they need.
One could argue that these people are not getting what they need
because the way Brandon Johnson runs that city,
it seems like black people are at the bottom of that list.
That's what the results continue to show.
I mean, just look at the crime rates,
look at the quality of education,
look at schools that have been closed.
I mean, it's clear to me that whatever black agenda
and whatever people really need is not actually getting met.
I'll tell you who's getting what they need, the illegal aliens.
When you got 20-plus migrant shelters and you're spending $700,000 a day,
yeah, they're definitely getting what they need.
And let's not forget about these Chicago public schools that was caught spending millions of dollars
going on lavish trips and getting nice massages in luxury hotels across the world.
Yeah, across the world.
Not in America, outside of America.
So I think everybody's getting what they need except the actual children in the classroom.
But this is what you get.
And when black people out of Chicago who scream about racial equity and we're not getting opportunities,
why don't you look at yourselves?
Seems like to me you're making sure the leaders get all the opportunities they want financially.
That's what it looks like to me.
When you got a black mayor, you got a black police chief, you got a black president for the teachers union.
You got a black woman running the Chicago public schools.
Who's that fault here?
It ain't the white man.
Okay.
Let's stop.
And switch gears to this other story.
So an illegal alien was caught on videotape, literally pounding a American citizen to death out front of a convenience store.
It is grabbed national attention.
This happened in Florida of all places.
And the president actually responded to it.
Take a listen.
Now we've got an illegal immigrant out of a lot of.
of Haiti charged with killing a Florida mother.
Surveillance video allegedly showing him attacking that woman with a hammer at a gas station.
President Trump's saying this.
The video of her brutal slaying is one of the most vicious things you will ever see.
This one killing should be enough for these radical judges to stop impeding my administration's
immigration policies and allow us to end this scam once and for all.
Brian Yennis has the duty on this story and a warning.
It involves graphic video as we have referred to, Brian.
and good morning to you.
Bill, good morning.
This was a targeted and planned attack.
Investigators say Robert Joaquin, an illegal immigrant from Haiti, confessed he specifically
went to the Fort Myers Florida gas station to kill the clerk, reportedly identified as a mother
of two.
Now, graphic and disturbing surveillance video captured the murder.
Now, in the video, Joaquin is seen repeatedly smashing the clerk's car with a hammer
until she comes out to the parking lot to confront him.
And that is when he walks right at her, winds up, and hits her in the head with the hammer.
She falls down unconscious.
He then bludgeoned her six more times in the face before walking away, killing her in broad daylight.
Joaquin was arrested hours later.
Video of the attack was shown during his first court appearance.
Detectives reportedly say Joaquin told them he wore the same clothes the clerk had seen him in two days earlier
so she would recognize him and intentionally smashed the car to lure her.
outside. Yeah. What breaks my heart the most about this is the fact that people are getting caught
off guard. People are just doing what they're supposed to be doing, going about their lives,
and not expecting things like this to happen. But they will continue to happen. Every single
week, there is a story. Keep your head on a swivel. Stay alert. And the other thing that breaks
my heart is that this is too political for some people out there when it really shouldn't be.
This is just basic humanity.
You know, for all the talk about having empathy for illegal aliens, as the left has,
where's your empathy for this woman?
She probably had a family.
She was trying to earn money to provide for a life.
Did she deserve to be murdered that way in front of her job in broad daylight?
You don't want ice in your neighborhoods.
So answer this question for me.
How was I supposed to stop that person?
person from doing that? Or are you just willing to accept this to happen?
Situations like this. It's just part of the game for you.
That's what I would be asking these Democrats. Let's go to more on this story. Take a listen.
Now, DHS says Joaquin entered the U.S. illegally from Haiti in August 2022 under the Biden
administration. A federal judge issued a final order of removal against him in 2022,
but the Biden administration granted him temporary protected status,
which expired in 2024.
President Trump posted this brutal attack video
on true social writing in part,
as I've said all along,
if you import the third world,
you become the third world.
And that is what happened over the four years
of Democrat control.
We are rapidly trying to reverse this decline
through deportations, but if the Democrats are ever given
another chance at power, they will immediately reopen
the border and allow America to once again
be a safe haven for criminals.
Joaquin is being held without bond,
charged with second degree murder,
murder. ICE says Joaquin will be deported regardless of the outcome of his criminal case.
ICE and Fort Myers police bill are holding a news conference on this case this afternoon.
Now, did you hear that important detail? The Biden administration granted this guy, this murderer,
this unhinged illegal alien, temporary protective status. Then layer this on. Judges in our country
are trying to stop the Trump administration
from revoking temporary protective status of Haitians.
Now, understand what I just said.
They want to stop the president
from ending something that is temporary.
That's where we're at, folks.
I'm telling you, this should not be a partisan issue.
This is common sense 100% of the way.
Temporary means temporary.
If we have not vetted you at a certain point,
you've got to go.
And when you already have an order of a,
an order from an immigration judge that says you must be removed, it means they must be removed.
That is due process in and of itself.
From the legal perspective, there's the temporary protected status.
And the president's very upset about the judges on the immigration system.
If that were to be addressed, would some of these people get deported sooner?
Yeah, I think so.
I mean, I share his frustration.
Temporary protected status, TPS, is given out like candy.
And it's kind of given out by country with justifications that go back as far as 40 years.
So El Salvador, for instance, was a TPS country.
If you showed up in the United States, you had this carte blanche from our immigration authorities to stay for as long as you want.
And frankly, I don't know why Haiti's even on the list.
But it's like every government program, Dana.
They create an idea.
Maybe there's a good motivation in the beginning or a good reason for it.
But then it outlives its life.
And here we are 40 years after.
you know, El Salvador and Civil War and there's still TPS. In Haiti, same thing. There's no good reason
why you should have carte blanche. It should be individualized and a guy like him, you know,
should have been deported some time ago. So we're getting these avoidable tragedies based on
government inaction and four years of an open border. And I think the president's right to be
frustrated. Okay. I think we've heard enough, right? Let's go to our next update and this is
no shocker either. So Hakeem Jeffries has made it his mission in life to target Pete HECSeth next.
As far as the next cabinet member to be fired or potentially impeached in whatever way they're going to try to accomplish that,
essentially Democrats are celebrating that they are the reason why Chrissy Nome is gone.
They are the reason why Pambandi is gone.
And so they're trying to take credit for that, essentially.
And so the next person on their list is Pete Hexeth.
Here's what Hakeem Jeffries had to say this morning.
Well, in terms of impeachment and things of that matter, we've said we've ruled nothing out and we've ruled nothing in.
We're going to deal with what's in front of us.
And so what's been in front of us is we've successfully run out of town some of his cabinet
secretaries, and the overwhelming majority of them are woefully unqualified, in fact, dangerous.
So now we're in a situation where Christy Noem is gone.
Pam Bondi is gone.
And I believe Pete Hexeth is next.
And we're going to keep our foot on the gas pedal to push this guy out, the most unqualified
secretary of defense in American history.
Now, tomorrow, under the leadership of Jamie Raskin,
Judiciary Committee Democrats are going to brief the entire caucus about the different accountability
mechanisms that are available to us, including or available to the country, I should say,
including but not limited to the 25th Amendment.
Yeah, so they call Pete Hexat the most unqualified Secretary of War, still technically
Secretary of Defense, just so you guys are clear on it.
And one could argue that if you're looking on paper, sure, fine.
call him that. But it seems to me he's getting better results than the previous Secretary of Defense,
Lloyd Austin, who went AWOL for a bit there, dressed up in a weird way at times and really wasn't in touch
with the service members, which is why they had a recruiting problem under his watch. So I don't think
being qualified is always the answer. We talked about this the other day in the show. You can have every
initial running off your business card. It doesn't mean you have great executional skills. It doesn't
mean you know how to get results. You may have a lot of knowledge. It doesn't mean you know what to do
with it exactly. Right. So, you know, this is a great example of that. Pete Hexeth is the perfect
secretary of defense for now. He may not be the perfect person long term as far as the next 20
years. But for what the military needed in this very moment we find ourselves, especially with how
the woke mind virus infected the military. You know, they wanted to teach people about white men
being full of rage and anger and white people are bad. This was the proper person to get back to
why you join the military in the first place. And the only person really qualified to be a prime
example of that is someone who's not a general, someone who is still a soldier, who still is,
who still is in touch with the people at the bottom, sort of speak, of the chain of command.
At any rate, let's go to this next clip. Watch.
I often go to Democratic leadership to figure out who's next out in the cabinet from my report.
You think HECSeth's gone next?
I think that's very wishful thinking on the part of Hakeem Jeffries.
Look, I think in a lot of the reporting we've seen from the New York Times and others about the lead-up to the Iran case,
it seems that Hague Seth is far more involved than he used to be.
He's a stalwart defender on the Iran issue.
Lord knows Donald Trump needs help and everyone rowing in the same direction on Iran right now,
especially with some of the backlash in different parts of the party.
I think the president's been very happy with Hague Seth on that front.
So we'll see.
But to say he's next up when we're in the midst of a battle with Iran, I think is foolish to say the least.
I think Jeffries is throwing out some red meat for the base.
I mean, he's at the National Action Network conference.
He could be the next speaker.
How do you think about his evolution as leader?
So I actually think that especially given the fact that Democrats, in reality, have so few tools at their disposal.
Now, they certainly have, they have bully pulpit.
that we could talk about where and how they've been successful and failed in their communication,
certainly. But in terms of legislative levers that they have to pull, they have very few.
So in other words, there's not much that he can do, and there's not much they will be able to do
as far as trying to get rid of Pete Hexeth. We have to understand what they're literally doing here.
They're undermining the chain of command. There's nothing Pete Hexeth has done that would warrant
any conversation as far as impeachment is concerned. Here's the other.
fascinating part about it. Why would you talk about impeachment for Pete Hexedith if you haven't even
impeached the actual commander-in-chief? Pete Hexat's doing what the commander-in-chief is telling him to do.
Now, let's take a step back and really understand the dynamics here. General Kane and other generals,
chiefs of staff, they're the ones really running things here. Now, Pete Hex-Seth will execute whatever
the White House tells him to do, okay? And he will go in front of a camera and say what needs to be said.
But if you really think about the true decision makers, there's still people embedded in the Department of Defense, and it's the White House.
And so I just find it interesting that they're going to spend their time trying to go after him.
And that's not really going to make a difference.
Let's go to Rick Scott, and here's what he had.
Jeffrey's an idiot.
I mean, here's a country that wants to develop a nuclear weapon to kill Americans, and they've been killed Americans, and he wants to limit the president's authority.
I want this president to do everything he can to protect my family, your family, all of us.
So Jeffries is a complete idiot on this, and it'll never pass the Senate if it does pass the House.
Well, and I thought it was interesting.
He was bringing up some of his fellow New York leaders with Congresswoman Maliatakis and Congressman Lawler.
So Senate morning leader Chuck Schumer says the upper chamber is going to take up the measure next week when you return from recess.
So dead on arrival?
Yeah, it's down arrival.
I mean, I mean, who wants Iran to have a nuclear weapon or ballistic missiles to kill Americans?
Only Democrats.
There's not a Republican I know that thinks it's smart for this country to allow somebody that says they're going to kill us to have a nuclear weapon.
So President Trump's doing the right thing.
I think the ceasefire is an opportunity.
I hope it works.
I hope the negotiations work.
But this president's done the right thing.
He is defending Americans.
That's what we all should be doing.
But again, Rick, a lot of people don't believe that. They believe Israel is the one controlling the
president. They believe Israel controls everything that happens with our country. And ultimately, it's the
Jews that are really running this entire operation. That's what a lot of people believe, especially
on the internet. The president has no agency. Pete Hexeth has no agency. All they're doing is following
the orders of Netanyahu himself. I'm just telling you what people say. We went over yesterday.
Megan Kelly said the president's been bamboozled.
So, yeah, we'll see how successful Jeffries can really be in this.
I don't think he's going to find much success.
But that's my opinion.
What is yours to these stories?
First, let's start with Chicago.
I mean, what are they doing to the kids out there?
If you're in Chicago, please let me know your reaction to this in the comment section.
And then what do you make of this situation?
We're trying to impeach Mr. Hakeem Jeffries there, or excuse me, Pete Hexath.
And then the illegal alien killing another American citizen.
Give me your thoughts, everything you got in the comment section below.
All right.
So in case you missed it because you were busy,
late last night, the president went after Tucker Carson,
Megan Kelly, Alex Jones, and Candace Owens in a long,
I would find to be hilarious posts calling out their Trump derangement syndrome.
So if you guys missed out on that update and more,
click on the video because it's coming up right now.
