In today's video, we have breaking news. CNN has been caught sympathizing with the suspects who were behind the failed terror attack in New York City.
Starting point is 00:00:52 Democrats are continuing to sabotage DHS and also demand public hearings regarding Iran. But before we get to all of that, let's hear exactly what has. happened late last night regarding additional IEDs that were located. Take a listen. Well, overnight, the investigation escalated once again. Federal sources telling me more IEDs were discovered in a Pennsylvania storage unit connected to this case. You can hear an explosion as the bomb squad conducted a controlled detonation to safely remove these devices for further analysis. investigators say the homemade bombs, Ibrahim Kiyumi and Amir Balot,
Starting point is 00:01:42 carried to a Saturday anti-Muslim protest in New York City, never detonated, but could have, but if they had, it would have been catastrophic. Both men appeared in federal court yesterday. The FBI says the suspects made multiple pro-IS statements, and one of them expressed a desire to carry out an attack even bigger than the Boston Marathon bombing. All right, needless to say, these were some serious individuals committed to the cause, so to speak, willing to die for what they believe in and kill American citizens in the process. Unfortunately for them, their devices malfunction. I hope people understand that.
Starting point is 00:02:21 I don't think CNN did yesterday because here's the way they put it. Two Pennsylvania teenagers cross into New York City Saturday morning for what could have been a normal day enjoying the city during abnormally warm weather, but in less than an hour, but in less than an hour. But in less than an their lives would drastically change as the pair would be arrested for throwing homemade bombs during an anti-Muslim protest outside Mayor Zeramandani's home. Here's what we know so far. It seems like CNN is really caring about these individuals. They're not even terrorists in their eyes, right?
Starting point is 00:02:50 Just regular American citizens. Oh, yeah, that's right. They did the same thing with the Maryland man. I think you guys can recall that, right? So, of course, CNN had to follow up because they face major backlash. Here's the statement from earlier today, a post regarding the two individuals arrested. for throwing homemade bombs outside of New York City,
Starting point is 00:03:07 Mayor Zoramandani's home failed to reflect the gravity of the incident, thereby breaching the editorial standards we require for all of our reporting. It has therefore been deleted. Correction. I know the media keeps saying homemade bombs. Can we call it what it is? IED. That's exactly what's going on here, folks.
Starting point is 00:03:25 All right, here's more. Fox News Digital captured these images of the homes of the two suspects, both located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Both men are U.S. citizens. One suspect's parents naturalized U.S. citizens from Turkey, the other naturalized U.S. citizens from Afghanistan. An attorney for Amir Balat on the left said his client was a high school senior with, quote, complicated stuff going on in his personal life. Ibrahim Kiyumi on the right graduated from high school and 2024, according to a Pennsylvania school district. Both men are being held without bail and are due to.
Starting point is 00:04:03 back in court early next month. Well, I'm happy to hear that there is no bail for these criminals, these terrorists. They have no business being in our country. We know why they're in our country because we have a vetting issue. And I think that is going to continue to happen because essentially, when I did this interview with Nicole Parker, it's on the YouTube channel. You guys are watching. She told me how there's two FBI's, one that really believes in the U.S.
Starting point is 00:04:24 Constitution protecting the American citizen and the other believes in woke policies, fatal empathy, et cetera. That's exactly what's happening throughout the federal government. And so how else would we have these people in our country? It's because part of the government doesn't believe in vetting people, doesn't believe in deporting people going after public safety threats. So hopefully this administration can crack down on people like that. Now let's go to the mayor himself. Here's a statement from earlier today.
Starting point is 00:04:50 Take a listen. So given that both of the alleged attackers at Gracie said they were inspired by ISIS and given New York City's sort of perennial status as a soft target, I was wondering if you had any, you know, words of advice to any young people who might find themselves being drawn to that particular ideology. I think first and foremost, just to make it clear to everyone that extremism and hatred of any kind will not be tolerated in our city. And that is, regardless of whatever ideology motivates any person to commit an act of violence, there is no tolerance for it here. What we want to deliver to New Yorkers is a city that is safe, is a city that believes in the values where everyone who calls at home is considered to be a part of it. There is no tolerance for any kind of violence within that vision of our city or the way in which
Starting point is 00:05:44 we lead this city. Thanks. Okay. So number one, it's clear that he deflected from that question. He's not going to answer it because he wants to defend his faith. He wants to defend his ideology. And the problem with him versus someone like a Dr. Oz, in case you guys didn't know this, he is also a Muslim, is they have a different way of handling themselves.
Starting point is 00:06:05 Mondani clearly wants to defend this, okay? He has a problem having to go in front of a camera and really talk about this. If it was in another city, he probably wouldn't have anything to say. Okay, this guy's very sympathetic to criminals, as we know, just like seeing in there earlier in this video. But Dr. Oz doesn't act that way. See, it's not all Muslims. It's just Muslims like Zoroamandani.
Starting point is 00:06:25 And secondly, here's the other big issue. DHS is still defunded. And at this point, Democrats are so arrogant that they're willing to go publicly out there and say that DHS is a lawless agency. Listen to it for yourself. Which we have been 150% clear. We are not funding DHS, ICE, and CDP, not a penny more because these are completely lawless agencies. They all have to be dismantled. They are not operating with regard to the.
Starting point is 00:07:01 the rights of people in the United States, whether it's U.S. citizens, legal permanent residents, or people who have been here for a long time and committed absolutely no crime. I mean, this is what happens when you're so knee-deep into partisan politics. You end up saying things that are truly ignorant. I mean, DHS is not a lawless agency. It is the Department of Homeland Security. It's in the name Homeland Security, whether you got TSA, FEMA, you got this whole thing called cybersecurity also. You got the Coast Guard.
Starting point is 00:07:30 And yes, you have ICE and Border Patrol and HSI, which is a very important part, never really gets spoken about. But these are the people actually investigating immigration crimes. But again, this is what happens because Democrats are this radical, okay? No one in their right mind would come to you and say, hey, listen, I know we have a disagreement on the budget for the next month regarding our house here. I'm willing to pay for the electricity, but I will not pay for the gas. I mean, literally, that's what they're doing. unless you switch out the gas, I will not pay for it. I mean, that makes no sense.
Starting point is 00:08:03 I mean, especially if you live in a home where gas is essential, whether that is your stove or the hot water. Does that make sense? I mean, that's literally the perfect analogy here. Now, let's go to this response from Republicans. I think she sums it up perfectly. Take a listen. So your colleagues on the left won hearings on Iran,
Starting point is 00:08:22 and yet the Department of Homeland Security is still closed. Is that not a bigger priority than more hearings? Thanks. Yeah, absolutely. The first order of business needs to fund our department Homeland Security. The reality is we face threats. We always face threats. And right now with New York City being a number one terror target,
Starting point is 00:08:42 my priority is to make sure that we fund this department that was created after September 11th. And here we are on the 25th anniversary of September 11th. And you have two legislative leaders, Democrats, Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries, who are from New York and should know better. than anyone what's at risk. And they're playing political games. It is really ludicrous. And at the end of the day, it seems that what they're telling the American people is they rather have open borders, they rather have criminal illegal
Starting point is 00:09:10 immigrants on our streets, than to secure our borders to provide public safety and to make sure that our counterterrorism and cybersecurity programs are fully funded. Okay, let's take a quick break because I want to share this message for the men out there who watch my show. So if you're dealing with the Texas heat like me, if you're in the outdoors or you're traveling, body odor can become an issue pretty quickly. That's why personally when I use deodorant, I not only put it in my underarms, but it also will spread it across my body at times, especially if I'm outside.
Starting point is 00:09:39 Well, I finally came across a product where I won't have to necessarily do that because their whole mission in life is creating something called a whole body deodorant. The name is Mando. This is a product created by a doctor who wanted a serious solution for the men out there who want to cover not only their underarms, but possibly their feet in case that you sweat there, or the package that God has given us because we know odors can get out of control. So, guys, if that's an issue you've been dealing with, I think you'll love this, because once you put it on, the thing that I love about it is it lasts a very long time.
Starting point is 00:10:11 So go to shopmando.com, use promo code devori. Try it out for yourself. I really believe you're going to be happy about it. Again, shopmando.com promo code devori or click the link in the description below. And that's why I always say common sense and politics usually are not in the same sentence. This is a great example of that. Okay. At this point, why have they not funded TSA, FEMA, Coast Guard is beyond me.
Starting point is 00:10:35 But speaking of TSA, we might as well go to that next story because, again, it's a continuation from yesterday. Longer lines at the TSA checkpoints at these airports, you have TSA agents not getting paid. People are getting fed up. And at this point, the American people are starting to fill this. nonsense in their daily life. Let's go here. Get up and get here early. At Houston's Hobby Airport, those lines have been snaking out the main terminal, down to the baggage claim and all the way out to the parking garage.
Starting point is 00:11:09 The airport is warning TSA wait times could be three hours or more. We tried to allow a little more than three hours to get here. I've been waiting for about two hours now. Got nothing else to do but wait. The same story at MSY in New Orleans. One Plus 1 equals more of the greatest stories. Hulu on Disney Plus. Stories about...
Starting point is 00:11:31 Survivors. The most dangerous planet. Family. Retribution. Murder. Prophecy. Beer and propane. How are we doing it?
Starting point is 00:11:40 Blake Panther. The ultimate soldier. Chicago, all right? The best of the best stories now with even more from Hulu. Amazing. Have it all with Dulu on Disney Plus. And at Hartsfield Jackson Airport in Atlanta. The TSA's funding expired three weeks ago after lawmakers failed to reach an agreement on ICE protocols,
Starting point is 00:12:09 triggering a partial homeland security shutdown. The White House released a statement blaming Democrats for the shutdown and airport staffing shortages. Yeah, I mean, I don't know about you, but at this point, if I was a TSA agent, right, obviously shout out to them. But if I was a TSA agent, what's to say this is not going to happen again this year? Because remember, whatever they agree on, the funding ends September 30th. So when that day rolls around and the government expires again, it's going to go into a shutdown. It's more likely to happen because it's true tribalism, folks.
Starting point is 00:12:45 I mean, Democrats cannot bring it to themselves to compromise on anything regarding the president. It's either their way or the highway. And by the way, that's not my opinion. That's what the results show. They allowed the government to be shut down for 43 days, and in the end, they didn't even get what they wanted. They said they wanted to extend ACA subsidies. Newsflash, has ACA subsidies been extended at all? Absolutely not, and we're already in the month of March.
Starting point is 00:13:12 Remember, Bernie Sanders said 13 million Americans would die if these subsidies were not extended. They still have yet to be extended. So this is the world that we live in, folks. And again, the innocent people here are the travelers, of course, and the TSA agents. And by the way, I recall this type of experience. When the government shuts down and you're used to getting paid on the first or the 15th, whatever it is, there will be a delay. Okay. So as you guys know, the government's quick to take that money out of your account.
Starting point is 00:13:40 But when it comes to paying what they owe you, yeah, it's like pulling teeth. Let's go here. It's going to get a lot worse. Kim Parzac is with boutique travel advisors. She says what makes this shutdown concerning is that it comes on the heels of the historic government shut down last fall. We got over 60,000 TSA workers, these frontline essential workers for the airlines, and they've got to pay the bills. And so they're calling in sick, and they're probably doing door dash and making money to pay the rent because they've got kids. Sky Harbor saw short lines at security today, but that's not the case for airports across the country.
Starting point is 00:14:14 Our partners with CBS News reported lines up to five hours in Houston and three. hours in New Orleans. Parzac says if you have flights anytime this month, check all the airports ahead of time and expect delays. One of the main things I tell people is remain flexible or you will break, just like a pencil. Map out the actual logistics of getting to the airport because you're going to need, they're expecting up to five hours in some cases and depending on the airport. Now, I actually talked about this yesterday. It's called TSA pre-check touch. I know it's a lot of words. Just remember the term touchless ID is exactly what it sounds like. It's a separate line next to pre-TSA check that nobody's standing in because most people are unaware of
Starting point is 00:15:01 this new policy, which is that if you log into your loyalty program as a flyer, there is somewhere in the settings, it will allow you to sign up for something called touchless ID, meaning you verify your passport information. They see that it's true. When you show up to the airport, you don't have to actually show your ID to the TSA agent. You just, they stand in front of a camera. It verifies you and then you get in line. It's absolutely a game changer, in my opinion, currently, especially based on what's happening right now. So when I flew out of Austin, I was in the pre-TSA check line. And I'm telling you, I was waiting in the line for 20 minutes. Usually when you walk in, you just go straight there, right? Well, the line next to me was this
Starting point is 00:15:44 touchless ID line. Nobody was in it. So, of course, I had to investigate. And that's what I up with. All right, let's go to Senator John Thune because here's what he had to say. So here we are in the 26th day now of a government shutdown instigated by Democrats after they had agreed to the very bill that they are now opposing and are now opposing even sitting down and talking and negotiating on the things they say they want. Explain that one. This president, this is This is borderline obnoxious. This is indefensible. It is undistifiable.
Starting point is 00:16:32 And there are American people who are going to hurt as a result of this. And those already who work at these agencies, some 120,000 at one agency alone that aren't going to get paid. Who perform critical security missions for this country to keep the American people safe. Now, some people are sharing this clip
Starting point is 00:16:53 claiming that, you know, leader Thune here is outraged. He's slamming Democrats. But what has he actually done here? We've been demanding the same act to be passed. We've been demanding him to figure it out. He hasn't even brought it to a vote. I'm not confident he's going to be able to make this happen at this point. That's not being, you know, unfair. I think that's being objectively fair. Now, according to history, when it comes to the Senate, they do move as slow as snails. But given the stakes here, given what happened in New York City, in Austin, in New Orleans, and D.C., how many more situations or tragedies or terror attacks do we need to have? We need to get this done. I think that's the bottom line to it. All right. Let's go to our next clip. This is an exchange between Scott Jennings and Baccari Sellers. I think it sums up the current debate. Take a listen. But does anyone here believe that we should keep the Department of Homeland Security,
Starting point is 00:17:53 that's the name of it, indefinitely shut down to try to force ICE policy changes on an agency that's already funded until 2029 when you acknowledge their sleeper cells, when we all see radical Islamic terrorists throwing IEDs in New York City, when we saw a radical Muslim terrorist shoot up a bar in Austin, when we had tornadoes in Oklahoma and Michigan this weekend, when we have TSA lines of five hours in airports? We have all these things going on. Is it even remotely reasonable?
Starting point is 00:18:24 Yeah, I mean, there's no way to defend defunding DHS. At a minimum, TSA, FEMA, Coast Guard, there's no way to defend that. And here's the interesting thing, which I'm sure you already know, defunding ICE as they think that's what they're doing. They're not actually defunding it because it's already been funded because of the one big, beautiful bill. so what are they really accomplishing here except hurting innocent American people. All right, let's go to our next story here.
Starting point is 00:18:53 This is about Iran. As the debate continues, where is this going? Why are we doing this? And is success on the horizon? Well, depending on who you listen to, obviously, you're going to get two competing answers. Let's start with Democrats, because what they're doing is really two things. One, they're calling for public hearings at this point. And two, they're refusing to add any additional funding in regards to this conflict.
Starting point is 00:19:15 Let's start what Pocahontas Warren. Take a listen. Here we are well into the second week, and it is still the case that the Trump administration cannot explain the reasons that we entered this war, the goals we're trying to accomplish, and the methods for doing that. The one part that seems clear is that while there is no money for 15 million Americans who lost their health care, there's a billion dollars a day to spend on bombing, Now, if we take exactly what she says as truth, one could argue that the members of Congress
Starting point is 00:19:51 have been getting away with murder regarding our tax dollars, way that in an amount that exceeds one billion a day, if that makes sense. Okay. I mean, so I don't like that way to frame it. I mean, one billion a day is still nothing compared to the overall budget for the Department of War. We really want to be objectively fair here. I mean, the next budget's going to be one trillion dollars. You can bank on that. And where that $1 trillion is going, I mean, that's a big criticism on my behalf. I support the military, but what I don't support is a department of war who can't even pass an audit. I get that criticism.
Starting point is 00:20:26 But to weaponize that in order to undermine the president of the United States during this conflict is petty. That's exactly what she's doing here. Here's more of what she had to say. Where would you be if they sent up a supplemental and did they give you any indication this morning that a supplemental is on its way to have a problem. At this point, I am a hard no on a supplemental. This is not a war the American people want us to engage in. This is not a war supported by this country, and this is not a war that makes us safer.
Starting point is 00:20:56 For the Trump administration to say over and over, there's no money for health care, there's no money for child care, there's no time to pay attention to how families are paying more, But there's a billion dollars a day to go to the Middle East and drop bombs on Iran for military purposes that no one can describe and that no one can explain how merely from dropping bombs from the air we will accomplish those ends. No, no more money. The one thing Congress has the power to do is to stop actions like this through the power of the purse. The argument she's making is a good one in a sense that why would we continue to give the military billions of dollars when they can't pass an audit?
Starting point is 00:21:48 It makes total sense. The problem is we know she's coming at it from a very disingenuous position. This is a woman who clearly has benefited from the policies. She says she rages against. So I don't look at her for more clarity. I'm sure you don't either. But the more concerning thing is this new game that Democrats are playing, which is public hearings. That's what they're demanding now.
Starting point is 00:22:07 Not only do they refuse to fund DHS or give any additional money to this conflict, but now they want public hearings and they want State Department Secretary Marco Rubio to attend. Take a listen. Democrats in the Senate are now threatening to use every procedural tool at their disposal to hold up business on the Senate floor unless Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Defense Secretary Pete Heggzitt, and other senior officials testify before key committees under oath about the ongoing war in Iran. six Senate Democrats joining together to push for public hearings saying they are tired of closed-door briefings that do not inform the public. Joining us now, two of those senators, member of the Armed Services and Foreign Relations Committee, Democratic Senator Tim Kane of Virginia, and member of the Foreign Relations and Judiciary Committee's Democratic Senator Cory Booker of New Jersey. Gentlemen, good morning. Great to have you with us.
Starting point is 00:22:58 Senator Kane, I'll start with you because you've been talking about war powers now for some time as it pertains to the war in Iran. it's worth pausing and reminding our viewers and our audience of a civics lesson, which is how America is supposed to go to war and the Article I powers of the Congress to send America to war. Let's pause it right here because if we really want to do a civics lesson to be objectively fair here, he should have told his audience the last time Congress declared war officially was in 1945, World War II. He won't say that. Since then, each president has been able to execute campaigns or short-term airstrikes against foreign countries. He won't say that either.
Starting point is 00:23:42 But it's because it's Donald J. Trump that it's a problem. Remember, if a Democrat launched these strikes in collaboration with Israel, everybody would be praising that president. But it's Donald J. Trump, the outsider, the disruptor, right? The anomaly. The guy who shouldn't be there in the first place, according to them. And it makes them sick. I think that's really what's going on here.
Starting point is 00:24:04 I don't think we really need to hear the explanation. In fact, let's just go to the Secretary of War. If you're still wondering, why are we doing this and where we're at? Here's what he had to say. Today will be yet again our most intense day of strikes inside Iran. The most fighters, the most bombers, the most strikes. Intelligence, more refined and better than ever. So that's on one hand. On the other hand, The last 24 hours have seen Iran fire the lowest number of missiles they've been capable of firing yet. Just the bifurcation, just the trend lines that we talked about on our first briefing. You see, this is not 2003. This is not endless nation building under those types of quagmires we saw under Bush or Obama.
Starting point is 00:24:57 It's not even close. Our generation of soldier will not let that. happen again and nor will this president who very clearly ran against those kinds of never-ending nebulously scoped missions those days are dead instead we're winning decisively with brutal efficiency now everything he just said there's exactly what I would expect from Pete X Seth he's all in on the mission okay he's obsessed he wants to see this through to the end I think militarily this has been an absolute success and being able to flex our muscles anybody in the military would love that. They do love it. As I often remind people, people over there
Starting point is 00:25:35 currently right now are service members. I mean, a lot of them are excited. I mean, this is what they live for, honestly. That's why they signed on the dotted line, so to speak. On the other hand, we obviously don't want this to drag on. It doesn't seem like it will based on the rhetoric coming from the White House, but only results will prove that to be true. Now, opposing view. Let's go back to Senator Tim Kane. Here's what he had to say. What can be done? What are these tools at your disposal right now to sort of back up a little bit and say, wait a minute, why are we there? Why are we putting people in harm's way? Willie, thanks.
Starting point is 00:26:08 The Constitution is really plain. You can't be a war without a vote of Congress. Sometimes presidents try to say, well, this was a police action or it's too minimal to be war. This is a war. President Trump calls it a war, but he's doing an end-round around Congress and the Constitution. The Constitution is important because it expresses a value, and what's important is the value. We don't send our sons and daughters into war where they could be killed or badly injured unless the political leadership casts a vote and says this is so important a national mission that it's worth risking our kids lives for. Yeah, you see, this is how disingenuous they are.
Starting point is 00:26:46 The eight service members at this point who have lost their lives due to the initial Iranian strikes were not in Kuwait due to this campaign. They were already there. Most people don't understand this, that we have American citizens, our soldiers, and multitude of countries around the world because we have a multitude of military bases around the world. It just so happened that Kuwait's one of them. And Iran obviously launched strikes against it. So, you know, it's interesting when they put it, we're sending our sons and daughters to die. There's no invasion either, folks. No invasion.
Starting point is 00:27:25 Okay. So according to the reporting at this point, The only people have lost their lives are people who were stationary at a military base that they were already stationed at, not a pilot, not some crew member on a Navy ship that was blown to pieces. That hasn't happened. And I think it's very important to be careful with our language here. President Trump gives answers out of both sides of his mouth in the same day, partly to influence oil prices, partly to keep our allies guessing. and I think largely to try and keep our enemies on their back foot. I also think right now the clearest winner from this war in Iran is Russia.
Starting point is 00:28:06 It's stunning that President Trump is on the phone with Vladimir Putin and spending more time consulting with him than he has with Congress and the American people. Now it's Russia's war? now Russia are the people who's winning here?
Starting point is 00:29:39 That was a clearly left field there. I don't know where they're just grasped at straws at this point. I mean, I never thought in history in our country, we would be living in a time where the politicians are actively undermining the president of the United States, the secretary of war during an actual conflict overseas. I mean, what's going on here? So I haven't said that. Please, leave your thoughts in the comments section below to the video today regarding these terror suspects. they found additional IEDs. We know Mondani and CNN. They're very sympathetic with what happened here, including Democrats continuing to defund DHS and are now demanding public hearings.
