Starting point is 00:00:00 Behind every F-35 jet is a Canadian company, horizontal tails built in Winnipeg, engine sensors from Ottawa, and stealth composite panels crafted in Loonenburg to name just a few. Thanks to thousands of skilled Canadian workers, the F-35 aircraft is delivering unmatched capabilities for 20 allied nations around the world, and will generate more than $15.5 billion in industrial value for Canada. So this nightmare poll that we're going to show you in today's video is bad news for Democrats, because according to CNN, it's their language, by the way.
Starting point is 00:00:36 They say that the midterms is a toss-up. Yeah, you heard that correctly. And also, Boston is reeling from another repeat offender that a judge let back onto the streets and Cash Patel clashes with Senator Van Hollen on Capitol Hill. Let's start with this poll from CNN. Take a listen. But I think this poll serves as a big time reality check for Democrats, And that is, it ain't over yet, especially with the redistricting when we look ahead to the 2026 race for Congress. You would have thought that the Democrats' Lee would expand on the generic congressional ballot.
Starting point is 00:01:08 It didn't happen. Look, in March, Democrats were up by six points. Look at this now. Democrats are up by three points, and I want you to note the yellow lettering. No clear leader. It is within the margin of error. So despite all of the talk about Donald Trump's unpopularity, the fact is, Republicans very much remain in the game.
Starting point is 00:01:27 game when it comes to the congressional midterms which are occurring in what six or seven months at this point yes now if you even bother to pay attention to CNN and the polls that they run you would find that they switch back and forth and i think they do it for ratings if that makes sense because it was just the other day they were dropping polls that were all bad for the president now they're dropping polls that says oh democrats might be in trouble so you have to take this all with a grain of salt of course but one thing is for sure this is the worst case scenario for democrats means meaning if these new maps are all completed before the midterm election and we get the average turnouts we usually get in midterms, it would be essentially a toss-up. Take a look at this.
Starting point is 00:02:09 So a lead of three points in the generic ballot test year. Does that get the job done? No, no, it might not actually get the job done. And I love any reference to airplane, I will say, and Leslie Nielsen. Look at this. Okay, take a look here. Democrats in the National House vote margin. According to my estimate, what they need for control with redistricting in terms of the national popular vote is somewhere of a win between three and four points. What's CNN's current poll with no clear leader? It's a three point advantage. If this were, in fact, the actual result come election day, the race for Congress, the race for the House, would be basically a toss-up. And that is why the redistricting efforts that have been happening are so important. Because before
Starting point is 00:02:50 the redistricting happened, Democrats essentially just needed to win the National House. popular vote in order to win control of the House of Representatives. But now with the redistricting, their latter, they had the climb ever higher and a three-point win may very well not do it. This is well within the realm of possibilities. Could be Democrats take back the House. You know, if Democrats outperform the CNN poll by a few points, they take it back, but they could underperform as well, and now it would be big time. Democrats are panicking so bad, especially in the state of Virginia, that when they go to file these emergency applications to the Supreme Court, getting the details wrong. They not only misspelled Virginia originally, but now they're addressing
Starting point is 00:03:29 the wrong court. Let me show you exactly what I mean. Look at this. They want an emergency application to be heard by the Supreme Court, but why did they write on emergency application to the Supreme Court of Virginia? And I had to look this up multitude of times because I couldn't believe it. Yes, that is not supposed to say on emergency application to the Supreme Court of Virginia. It's just supposed to say on emergency application to the Supreme Court, they're all over the place. It's really fascinating. Saying, you know, the president's approval on the economy, the president is just 30%, 70% disapproval.
Starting point is 00:04:02 Those are, I think, the worst numbers he has ever had. But if his numbers are so bad, then, why aren't Democrats benefiting? Yeah, that's exactly at Johnny B. Look, we talk about, you know, economic approval rating for the president. We talk about the net approval rating among registered voters. If we look among registered voters, the net approval rating, he's 36 points under what they go, There's no way. There's no way Republicans could possibly hold onto the House. But look at this, which party is trusted more in the economy? It's a tie among registered voters. Just because Donald Trump is unpopular, doesn't make Democrats popular. And when you match Democrats against Republicans, all of a sudden, it is a dead heat. Oftentimes, Republicans enjoy an advantage on the economy, though. So tide may not be great for them, but still a huge disparity there between these two numbers. Now let's go over to real clear polling.com. Because what I find,
Starting point is 00:04:50 be interesting is just look at the favorable rating, not the unfavorable rating, right? The black bar. President is sitting at 40.7. Republicans are sitting at 38%. And Democrats are sitting at 35.9%, which is just at atrocious. So even though they get onto the news and the internet and they scream about how bad the president is, it's fascinating that they're worse than him regarding their approval ratings. I just think that's an interesting insight. I think that's a variable that actually matters because they want everybody to feel like it's Armageddon, but it really isn't. And this is why you have people like AOC who's been making her rounds, okay,
Starting point is 00:05:30 been showing up at these black churches trying to formulate a new message because she could potentially run for the presidency in 2028. And I know that sounds crazy, but guess what? New polls are coming in showing that she's gained momentum. Now before I show you that, here's what she just said that's going viral. that my ambition is a title or a seat. My ambition is way bigger than that. My ambition is to change this country. Presidents come and go, but single-payer health care is forever. A living wage is forever. Workers' rights are forever. Women's rights. Now let's take a look at this poll that I was referencing because this is some stunning stuff. If the midterm elections for the House of Representatives were
Starting point is 00:06:18 held today, who would you be most likely to vote for Democrat or Republican? Democrats are ahead. Now, we already went over that in the CNN polls, so this is obviously a contradiction. And this is coming from Atlas Intel, which was the number one most accurate pollster of the 2024 election. Let's go down and go to who they see as the actual candidates. Right here's what I wanted to show you. AOC is now number one at 26% for the Democrats. Then Pete Buttigieg and then Gavin Newsom. and then Kamala Harris. What about Republicans? Well, Marker Rubio is now ahead.
Starting point is 00:06:55 He's at 45%. J.D. Vance at 29%. Ron DeSantis at 11. None of the above 10%. I told you, in politics, things can change just like that. And this is so far away, obviously, but I'm telling you,
Starting point is 00:07:11 she's not just showing up to black churches for no reason. So let's go to our next story. And this is about another criminal being let loose, by a judge. This time we're talking about Boston, and it's upset the community because that led to another fatal outcome. Take a look at this. This suspect, Tyler Brown, is in custody, hospitalized in the intensive care unit after he was shot by a state trooper and a good Samaritan. Investigators
Starting point is 00:07:36 believe he fired 50 to 60 rounds from an assault-style rifle at passing cars in buildings this afternoon. The eye team uncovered, this is not the suspect's first confrontation, with police. We'll get to all of that in our WBZ team coverage tonight, starting with Brandon Truitt live in Cambridge. Brandon. Well, Lisa, the most immediate update is Memorial Drive is now open after nearly nine hours of it being closed here. When all was set and done, Gunfire was flying in all directions, nearly 60 rounds from the gunmen alone, according to the district attorney. And tonight we've learned that Boston police had given Cambridge police a heads up about this guy and within minutes he started firing. A warning here, this video might be disturbing.
Starting point is 00:08:26 It's 1.30 on Monday afternoon on Memorial Drive in Cambridge. Shot after shot as chilling as it is merciless. The gunman walking down the middle of the road with an assault-style rifle seeming to shoot anything in his sight. All right, let's pause for a minute so I could share this message with you guys from today's sponsor, Upside. Now, who doesn't want to earn a little extra cash on your everyday purchases? Starting point is 00:09:38 Now let's pause because let's go back to the root cause of problems like this in America. It's really threefold. One, I think it's community, meaning we no longer police up our own community. Two, it's the politicians who continue to either pass policies or support policies that give people like him an opportunity to hit the streets again, which leads to the third thing are the judges. They've actually given judges too much power. And why I say that is because they are literally the arbiters of saying whether or not a criminal
Starting point is 00:10:12 who just committed a violent offense can go back. back on the streets. We were just talking about this in another video in New York City. The man who killed the guy in the subway, he had already assaulted people on the subway. But the judge, because of our heart of hearts and because he was black, she had to put him back onto the streets. I mean, this stuff is madness. Let's continue. This was the scene in Boston's South End in May 2020. That's where police say Tyler Brown opened fire on officers after a brief foot chase. He fired 13 rounds, including one right at an officer's chest. Amazingly, no one was hit. At the time, Brown was already on probation for a 2014 stabbing conviction. In 2021, he pleaded guilty to eight
Starting point is 00:10:57 charges connected to the shooting. Prosecutors asked for 10 to 12 years, but the judge sentenced Brown to five to six years, something the district attorney blasted at the time. Chillingly, one of the officers involved in that 2020 attack wrote in a victim impact statement, quote, I am a firm believer that when Mr. Tyler Brown gets out, he will hurt or worse kill someone. Adding probation apparently means nothing to Mr. Tyler Brown, nor does the value of life. Tonight, DA, Mary and Ryan confirming Brown was on probation at the time of today's shooting. Now, we do know who the mayor of Boston is, so let's not forget about that. And how she spends more time, obviously, supporting woke policies than making sure people are safe in Boston.
Starting point is 00:11:43 This truly is an epidemic across the country in these Democrat-run cities where they cook the numbers. I mean, we've seen the investigation into the D.C. police, which led to, obviously, the mayor not running for re-election, the police chief resigning, other people being terminated, and then other people settling out of court because they blew the whistle on this. So nothing new here, by the way, but it is another tragic example of how these policies can get out of hand in a fatal way. Let's go to this reaction on Fox News earlier today. So it's clear that the guy shouldn't have been on the street. In many states, he would not have been. How is he able to be back on the street in Boston, though? It's unconscionable.
Starting point is 00:12:30 It's unfathomable. If you shoot at police officers, you're out of jail in less than a couple of years. It's just whoever decided that sentence has no idea what it's like to put your life on line for your fellow citizens, no idea what the sacrifices that Boston police, state police, and other police officers across country do every day. We have a trooper that's going to be buried today who's not going home to his family. And when you shoot a police officers, you're telling the entire society that you have no respect for them and their guardians. And when you do that, you shouldn't be able to walk out of jail in a couple of years. And we have this result to people
Starting point is 00:13:09 clinging to life because of that sentence. It's unconscionable. You know, Daniel, I used to work in juvenile justice where judges, you know, had some authority and even the Democrat judges respected the rule of law. And if you had a defendant coming in the court that was a risk of society like this, I don't care what the DA proposed. They would say there's no way this guy is being released. Why now? It seems like, you know, the justice system went the other way. And, you know, our justice system has some definite challenges in it and some bumps and bruises that it takes along the way. And I would add on fatal outcomes, obviously. I mean, you know, these are like the basic things we've been saying. That's why we highlight Spencer Pratt in his election campaign because
Starting point is 00:13:56 he's focusing on the basic things. And one of the basic things as a politician, as a public official, is public safety. And it seems to me that we've gotten away from what makes you successful in public office. It's keeping your constituents safe. this U.S. Postal Service truck, a bullet hole through the front windshield, and the mark where it hit just inches from the headrest. A co-worker of this driver tells me she was stopped at a red light when a bullet flew past her. She was not injured. I mean, I think it's quite outrageous, especially because we're not used to that type of stuff in this area. I think quite honestly is catastrophic to just see something like that happen in just a main road. But it was a Massachusetts
Starting point is 00:14:40 state trooper and a civilian who engaged the suspect in gunfire that civilian. That civilian, were told is a Marine with a license to carry. Both faced this gunman head on and ended the ordeal in minutes. In a moment of crisis, we saw highly trained, highly prepared, troopers, and police officers responding to a very dangerous incident. I don't think it's much to ask regarding the judicial system in our country to keep criminals locked up. People who are guilty of violent offenses or who have been charged with violent crimes. These people should not be walking back onto our streets. I think that's a reasonable expectation. So that's what that whole story was about. Let's move to our next one. This is the FBI director, Cash Patel on Capitol Hill today.
Starting point is 00:15:29 And this is just another reminder where our tax dollars are going as they get into a shouting match about whether or not he's been drinking on the job. Take a look. Is it your testimony that those allegations are categorically false? Unequivocally categorically false. So there have been no occasions during your tenure when FBI personnel were unable to promptly reach you? Absolutely not. You can ask my entire workforce. They hear from me at every single hour of the day, as do these great gentlemen here, as do the men and women of the interagency and state and local law enforcement in the White House. And so there have been no occasions when your security detail had difficulty waking or locating you. Is that right? Nope, it's a total farce. I don't even know
Starting point is 00:16:06 where you get this stuff, but it doesn't make it credible because you say so. I'm not saying it, Director Patel. It's been written and documented. It's You are literally saying it. No, I'm saying that these are reports, Director Patel. Unlike your baseless reports, the only person that was slinging margaritas in El Salvador on the taxpayer dollar with a convicted gang-banging rapist was you. You know, the fact that ran up a $7,000 bar tab in Washington, D.C. at the lobby dark was you. So the only individual in this room that has been drinking on taxpayer dime during the day is you.
Starting point is 00:16:40 Director Patel, come on. These are serious allegations that were made against you. The allegations are false. You drinking margaritas with a gang guy. You're true and on video. You're running a $7,000 bar tab at the lobby bar has been filed by your own office. This goes to show. During the day, that's you.
Starting point is 00:16:59 Senator Van Hollen, he's the wrong guy to press cash with tell about drinking. He's dead on. Everybody remembers that photo or the multitude of photos. And guess what? The senator wanted that. He did a whole photo op with Obrigo Garcy. you. So fascinating that he thinks he's going to get away with questioning Cashmattel. And here's the thing. Let's say the allegations are true. Okay, let's just say that. Let's follow their logic.
Starting point is 00:17:25 Who has been able to deliver more results for the American people? Cash Mattel and the FBI or Senator Van Hollen. Let's be real here. Do you know, Mr. Director, that it is a crime to lie to Congress. Do you know that? I do not lie to Congress. I didn't ask you that. And you're insinuating that I am. I asked you want to correct your time in this session where you got steamrolled by the facts so you can have a Twitter narrative. Mr. Director. You can raise more money and spend more money on $7,000. Just let the record show, Mr. Chairman.
Starting point is 00:17:59 The Director of the FBI apparently does not want to answer the question. I mean, this is why you're not going to catch DeVore on Capitol Hill. I just, I don't have any patience for that line of questioning, to be honest. I mean, don't you think you'd be really, you know, I don't know, more. interested in the violent arrests and the trackdown on child sex trafficking and pedophiles and stuff like, don't you think the things that actually impact everyday Americans you'd be more concerned about? But as we have continued to demonstrate on this show, whenever we have to cover a congressional hearing, it's more of a circus than a time to really get clear information about
Starting point is 00:18:35 what's happening in our country, and particularly in some of these agencies. Are you willing to take the test, it's called the audit test, that members of our active duty, military, and others take to determine whether they have a drinking problem? I'll take any test you're willing to take. I will take it, Dr. Patelli, I'll take it. You ready to take it? Let's go. Yes or no? Let's go.
Starting point is 00:18:59 Side by side. I'll take it. All right. I think that the fact that you're so, have you ordered polygraph tests of? members of your team to determine how that story came about? The FBI conducts polygraph tests all the time. No. Have you ordered polygraph tests for members of your team to determine who was the source of the stories that I'm asking you about?
Starting point is 00:19:25 I don't order any polygraph tests. There's an internal inspection review process for any and all leaks, especially of baseless information at the FBI that's been in place for the last 30 years. Those processes are followed by career intelligence and agents on the ground. So I'll take that as a yes since you've said that these were these were unauthorized disclosures. Senator Van Holla, just give it up, man. Just give it up. And by the way, that was a gotcha question. You see, if Cash Patel says yes, he ordered them, that would demonstrate that he's obviously doing something wrong.
Starting point is 00:19:57 Why? Because Democrats would use that answer as a way to show that Cash Patel is trying to essentially obliterate his own subordinates by doing these tests to coerce them. It's not a good look. So it's very smart the way they answered. But bottom line here today, guys, is that this is more mess on Capitol Hill. And they're not focusing on, again,
Starting point is 00:20:21 the crimes that are being committed in America. We just covered one over the weekend. Man was killed on the subway by a repeat offender. The video before this, repeat offender. Let's talk about that. How can the FBI get the resources to help local officials stop that from happen? I don't know. Maybe it's too much to ask for. But why don't you guys give me your opinion in the comments section below and your reaction to these stories, starting with that poll from CNN?
Starting point is 00:20:45 I mean, isn't it fascinating? It's like night and day. Last week it was all bad. This week it's like, oh, whoa, wait a minute. You know, this means that the midterms could literally be a toss-up. And we're getting this piece of information during the middle of the Iran war. So imagine once that war comes to an end and we move on to something much better to talk about and the American people feel better. about the direction of the country, then what? I can't wait for that to happen. And of course, giving your thoughts about what's happening in Boston and on Capitol Hill. Also, like, share, and subscribe to the channel.
