So the president is continuing to ramp up his pressure on Leader Thune to get the Save America Act pass. This comes as New Jersey refuses to hand over the identities of the 6,000 non-citizens that were on their voter rolls. CNN just dropped another crazy poll in regards to the Save America Act. Let's take a look. President Trump is pressuring Senate Majority Leader John Thune over the Save America Act.
Starting point is 00:00:41 Trump wants to scrap the August recess, if necessary, to try to pass the voter ID and proof of citizenship bill with us now as chief data analyst, Harry. And it is notable. There's actually two different things. When you're talking about voter ID, showing a driver's license or a picture of ID when you show up to vote at the polling place. What do voters say about that? Yeah, overwhelming support for it.
Starting point is 00:01:06 We've spoken about it before, and the polling really hasn't shifted all that much, and you can just see it right here. Okay, so we're talking about voters favoring photo ID to vote. Among all voters, we're talking 77%. And this is uniform, basically, or universal, I should say. Universal. Democrat, 62%. Independent 77%.
Starting point is 00:01:24 Republicans, 95%. This is something that is popular across. the political spectrum. It is a rare thing that is popular across the political spectrum. When it comes to voter ID, the voters are with President Trump on this, whether they're Democrats, independents, or Republicans. Overall, very clear. We're talking about three and four overall who support the idea of photo ID in order to. All right. As Harry had mentioned there, the fundamentals haven't changed. Most Americans support this. But what has changed? What's changed is the president's patience on this. I mean, he's done everything he can to leverage the Senate to pass this.
Starting point is 00:02:00 In fact, he refuses to sign pieces of legislation coming from Congress in an effort to force their hand. Now, the president was caught yesterday on Air Force One. And what I mean by caught, they asked him about Leader Thune because we know he's been targeting him recently to get this pass. Here's what he had to say. What's your relationship like with the Senate Majority Leader? He's got to get his job done. It's fun. I have a good relationship with Jontu.
Starting point is 00:02:27 It's just got to get his job. You got to get the Safe America Act passed. Or better than that would be the filibuster. If you terminate the filibuster, everything happens. Tricky. If you don't terminate the filibuster, only bad things will happen. If you don't terminate the filibuster, only bad things will happen. Well, I would actually add on to what the president said.
Starting point is 00:02:47 Bad things are already happening, like 6,600 non-citizens being registered to vote in a state like New Jersey. 400 of them actually voted in New Jersey elections. And those are just the numbers the governor decided to report, by the way. Who knows? It might be more. And they said, oh, well, it's because of a technological glitch in the system. Sure it was. But let's say I grant her that.
Starting point is 00:03:13 The problem at this point, the governor refuses to release the names of the 6600. Listen to this. The Trump administration is seeking, I believe, by today, the list of, of non-citizens who are registered to vote and the approximately 400 that did vote, to what extent will your administration comply with the Trump administration's request in that regard? As I have said, I am not in the habit
Starting point is 00:03:35 of turning over private identifying information of the citizens of New Jersey. This federal government is weaponizing the government against individuals that disagree with them. they weaponized my private data against me and my election. And so I am working to protect people and their private data here in New Jersey. Okay. I just want to think about this for a second.
Starting point is 00:04:04 Private data. She's protecting the private data of citizens. That's not what they're asking for. They're asking for non-citizens data because if they're a non-citizen and they're in the country illegally, they should be gone. I mean, that's as clear as day. That's point number one. Point number two, in regards to private data. The federal government already has our data.
Starting point is 00:04:23 Let's just be real about the IRS, the Social Security, the HHS, I can go on and on and on. The federal government has our data already. So what are you truly protecting? And point number three, why won't you hand over your voter rolls to the federal government? You say that the elections are secure. What are you exactly hiding? If it is so secure, you would happily hand them over. Now, that is one problem with what blue governors are doing.
Starting point is 00:04:50 Let's go to what some rhinos are doing, like Senator John Cornyn, who refuses to get with the program. Here's what he had to say about the Save America Act. I don't understand the rationale. I think it's basically we're over-promising and we're not going to be able to deliver on that promise because we don't have the votes to pass it no matter how long we stay and we're not going to change the filibuster. But somehow the president's convinced that if he president, That's just hard enough that we will come around. But I just don't think that's likely to happen.
Starting point is 00:05:26 Is he putting Thune in an impossible position here? Well, I think, yeah, well, I wouldn't say impossible. They'll figure it out, but it's a very difficult position. So it's a difficult position to pass a piece of legislation that 77% of Americans across the political spectrum agree with. Imagine the world that we're living in today. This is why I call it uncommon times. I mean, this is insanity.
Starting point is 00:05:51 And the numbers continue to contradict what leader Thune and whatever other Republicans out there are making excuses about why they can't get it done. And what I find fascinating is they're essentially saying there's Republicans in the Senate who publicly have not come out and said, I won't pass this. You have a couple. But why don't we just name names, right? Put their names out there. Put them on the record who don't want to save America essentially.
Starting point is 00:06:17 because if we don't have elections that are based on integrity, what do we really have? All right. Let's go back to the numbers. So document proving citizenship to vote. What you can see here is, again, it's clear the majority are for it. The majority are with President Trump here. We're talking about 54% of Americans. We've seen this in poll after poll after poll.
Starting point is 00:06:39 It is lower than the voter ID, but it is clear. You get that 54% who support it. You get 37% opposed, which is a sizable minority, but definitely lower than. the majority. And among independents, which is a group that President Trump has really struggled with, you still see it here, right? You see the majority of, or the plurality of independence, 49% supporting the idea of needing document proving citizenship to vote, 49% versus 38% who are opposed. You know what? Put yourself in the shoes of voters out there. What reason has the Republican Party given voters to show up in the midterm election and vote for them? Can you name a few?
Starting point is 00:07:15 I mean, where is the morale right now? It's not as high as it could be. And that's unfortunate. This is a self-inflicted wound, in my opinion. And of course, Democrats, you know what they do? They hop on this by saying things like this. On the Save Act, it's a new week in Washington, but one thing remains the same. The Save Act is dead on arrival in the Senate.
Starting point is 00:07:41 Trump keeps tiring himself out running the same play. Trump knows he can't defend Republicans' abysmal record, his abysmal record. So he whines for the GOP to pass the SAVE Act to disenfranchise voters who want to hold him accountable in November. Give it up, Donald. The SAVE Act ain't going to happen. Now, I'm just speaking for people who are black in America. Passing the Save America Act will not disenfranchise us at all. We know how to get an ID.
Starting point is 00:08:11 Most of us have a driver's license. It's nothing new. Some of us actually have a copy of our birth certificate. Some of us have a passport. And if we don't have those things in our possession today, it's not actually difficult to get them. Now, take what I just said and apply it to people who are married. They can just get the information they need and register. It's not difficult business.
Starting point is 00:08:33 Are voting, you know, public interest groups who say not everyone has access to a passport or real ID or birth certificate. What are the numbers there? Yeah, okay. So again, this is a bit in the eye. of the beholder. Okay, can produce citizenship proof to vote like a passport or birth certificate. Very easily or with some effort, but still pretty easily, 90%. So the lion's share, and this I think is part of the reason why the idea of producing a document to vote is so popular is because most people think they can do it, at least with some effort or very easily. But there is this 10% who say hard,
Starting point is 00:09:04 can't, or unsure, Johnny B. in terms of that. And yeah. Okay, so I think at this point, we're pretty much beating a dead horse. I mean, how much more clear can we make when sin, is telling us the numbers that say the Save America Act should be passed. It's overwhelmingly supported by the American people from all demographics in all situations. It's common sense to me, but we're living in uncommon times. So if you do have the number to your senator who is a Republican, you should blow their phone up. Absolutely you should. All right. Let's go to our sanity report where we react to American culture, particularly viral clips on the internet, and give them a grade. What we're going to start first is why I still have hope in our future.
Starting point is 00:09:51 A high school student who is a lifeguard at a beach saved a 10-year-old from drowning. Let's take a look at us. Car shopping this civic holiday weekend, most car dealerships are closed and all you'll find are crickets. Not Performance Auto Group. They're open this Saturday and Holiday Monday for their annual. Civil's Civic Holiday Sales Event. Celebrate this long weekend with rates from 0%. They might be closed.
Starting point is 00:10:17 Performance Auto Group is open to serve you. Join Performance Auto Group this Saturday or Civic Holiday Monday 9 to 5 for the best time to shop this summer. At IKEA, we make things just for college life, like the Rosenmandel blackout curtains in gray. They say you can't put a price on sleep, but we did for the low, low price of 4999. Why are you in my room? Shh, go back to sleep. You have a big exam tomorrow. Shop back to school at IKEA. Wow. Where do you go? Oh, there was. And another guy had to come in there and say that's how crazy the waves are. There we go. There we go. Look at that. Men working together.
Starting point is 00:11:52 to do what we are designed to do. I wonder if Elliot Page could have done that. I know. I'm being a little catty. But this teenager, this young boy, who's grown up probably to be a strong man, is getting an A-plus in my book. In fact, the president even reacted to this, wants to invite him to the White House to recognize him. His mother's speaking out, very proud of her son. And he deserves all the praise. This is what we want to see from young people. when someone is struggling, it's not too much to help them out. That's the least we can do for our American citizen brothers and sisters. A plus for this man.
Starting point is 00:12:30 All right. Let's go to our next one. This is a, man, if you're Christian out there, buckle up. According to this white liberal woman, as I told you, they're one of the most dangerous people in this planet, particularly in our country regarding their policies. she says Christianity is not only patriarchal, but it's rooted in white supremacy. Put your hand when I say this because it's a hard truth to hear, but Christianity is a
Starting point is 00:12:57 colonizer, patriarchal, white supremacist religion, and we are never going to progress to an equitable society as long as we are clinging on to the archaic beliefs of Christianity. Christianity prevents progress on both a societal level and a personal level. The whole structure of Christianity, the hierarchy of power, the fact that there's this being that is superior to all else that must be worshipped and obeyed will never allow us to see each other as equals. Why would God never allow us to see each other as equals? The reason why we may not see each other as equals is because we're flawed, we're sinful, okay? We're not made perfect. All right. Spiritually, we're made in the image of God, of course. And that's one of a firm believer
Starting point is 00:13:41 that he gifted us an intellect, which is what he did not gift animals, by the way. And And this intellect allows us to get closer to our spiritual self. Okay. But to do that would be doing the opposite of what she's talking about, okay? So, no, pitting us against one another is what progressives do. They say black people are less than white people. They say that white men are racist. That doesn't sound equal to me.
Starting point is 00:14:08 Depending on who you are, there will always be someone who's superior to you or inferior to you. And the fact that Christianity centers men, it'll always be men who are in power. and better than everyone else. Christianity also discourages critical thinking and asking questions and curiosity. Christianity also enables us to fill knowledge gaps using God and religion instead of seeking the truth and filling those gaps based on science and reality. Now, that last point, I think you can criticize Christianity for doing that in some cases, depending on what church you go to. There are churches out there. I don't think they do a favor for Christianity. I think they're overly judgmental. I think some of them are toxic. But see, the churches are not actually the purpose of being a
Starting point is 00:14:53 Christian, by the way. Okay. I think some Christians get this wrong, which is like the main point of being a Christian is your relationship with Christ, not the church, okay? Not your neighbor down the road. It's whatever relationship you are continuing to develop with God and he will guide you. I think people get so lost in other stuff that they forget the main thing. So she gets an F, if I didn't make it as clear as possible. It's not white supremacy. In fact, Christianity, for all of its flaws, still is a religion, in my opinion, that does not support pedophilia, rape, marrying girls at young ages and trafficking
Starting point is 00:15:32 them, like other religions, by the way. And you definitely don't hear anybody blowing up a city and screaming, this is in the name of Jesus Christ. nobody does that. But I do know a religion that absolutely does it. I'll leave it there. She gets an F. Let's keep going.
Starting point is 00:15:48 All right. So this guy, which I love, he goes off about seven grocery stores that have closed in Chicago. But listen to the reason why they closed. Games are starting in Chicago. Black neighborhoods. They shut down seven grocery stores.
Starting point is 00:16:04 What you're going to do now? All them teen takeovers? People are sick of it. All right? You stop voting for the niggles and the niggots. It ain't pretty for your city. Now you got to suffer. You're talking all that mess.
Starting point is 00:16:18 Oh, man, we don't need the white. We don't like the white man. Bring back segregation. We'll be just fine. I'm look at you. Fumbling and folding. He can't even keep a grocery store together. Yeah, he's referencing government-owned grocery stores in Chicago,
Starting point is 00:16:32 which I didn't even know those existed. Technically, it's a hybrid situation. But anyways, they have already failed. They're gone out of business. I already did a video yesterday. Walmart has had to shut down a couple of locations in Chicago because of robbing and looting, et cetera. But this is what you get with blue cities that are ran by people who identify as progressives. They don't believe in cracking down on crime. They don't believe in law and order, accountability, all the things that would actually help society flourish.
Starting point is 00:16:59 But they think they know better. And obviously, they don't know better because if they knew better, they would do better and the results would be better. So my man right here gets an A plus for calling it out. All right. Let's go to our next one. This right here, Representative Angie Craig, has a tedious moment that deserves our attention. I looked at the bill at the time. We had just allowed Donald Trump, who is an existential threat to this country, to come in, in part because voters' perception of America's open borders under the previous administration. Okay. So America in 2024 allowed President Trump to win the president. the election because of our misguided perception of the border? This Trump administration attacked our black and brown neighbors.
Starting point is 00:17:51 It became absolutely clear that although they weren't using that bill in Operation Metro Surge that any additional authority to the Trump administration was the wrong decision. And I've said that I regret. So listen, the Trump administration is not attacking black. and brown communities. Black communities in particular attack themselves in gross numbers, by the way, whether it's the 42% abortion rate, seven out of 10 kids born out of wedlock, seven out of 10 kids have single parents. I mean, that's an attack on itself, in my opinion, okay? I think black people are doing just enough damage to themselves, okay? The president's not even touching what some of
Starting point is 00:18:33 these people are doing. All right. Now, as it relates to brown communities, you know, what's interesting. If you would actually talk to people who identify as brown or Latino or Mexican, whatever, and these are individuals who actually immigrated to this country, you would find that they're more hawkish on immigration policy than Republicans are. They don't have any patience for illegal immigration because they did it the right way. But of course, someone like her, she won't actually go there and ask those people. At any rate, she gets an F. No question. All right, so give us your best reaction in the comments section below in regards to the sanity report and the president's pressure on the Senate to get the Save America Act passed. I mean, we've had this conversation repeatedly.
