Starting point is 00:00:00 In today's video, we have breaking news. In today's video, we have breaking news coming out of Congress. Seven House Republicans have voted with Democrats to grant temporary protective status to Haitian migrants. Also, Gavin Newsom is being exposed for funding sex changes for illegal aliens. And the homeless epidemic coming out of Los Angeles County has people fed up. Let's start with what's going on in Congress. Take a listen. 150,000 Haitian refugees from deportation.
Starting point is 00:00:23 How's that going down? Bill Malusians on it. He is our guy in immigration, yet again on the hill. Bill, good morning. Bill, good morning to you as well. The House will be voting later today on a bill that would extend temporary protected status for those Haitians for another three years. And there is all sorts of outrage on the right this morning after six House Republicans voted with Democrats yesterday to advance this legislation, voting on a motion to move it forward. Now, that motion passed because of the help from these Republicans. And some of them explain themselves in post on X. New York Congresswoman Nicole Maliotokos wrote in part, quote, These are Haitian immigrants who are working, paying taxes, and contributing to our economy, to strip them of their status and deport them to a country in peril would be uncompassionate and misguided.
Starting point is 00:01:10 But other House Republicans who are hawkish on immigration are not happy with this. Texas Republican Congressman Brandon Gill writing, quote, it is an abomination that any Republican would vote to extend TPS. Pennsylvania Congressman Scott Perry wrote, quote, six Republicans teamed up with Democrats to allow backdoor amnesty for hundreds of thousands of Haitians who came into our country illegally betraying American citizens. Well, House Democrats now feel wind in their sales, and they are urging the House to extend Haitian TPS when they vote today.
Starting point is 00:01:42 Haitian TPS holders are parents. They are most definitely caregivers. They're small business owners, health care providers. They are the essential threads in the fabric of our communities. This vote in the House will be at about 1.30 p.m. later today. We'll be in there, of course, keeping an eye on it, Bill. Thank you, Bill. Nice to see you. All right. So let's understand exactly what's going on here, right? So as you guys heard, six House Republicans are voting with Democrats. We already know who they are. I think it's no shocker, especially when you see the name Mike Lawler and Representative Salazar. These are the same individuals who are pushing the Dignity Act. And really it comes down to a difference of opinion of the word temporary. Right? I mean, it really reflects a split between the rule of law interpretation.
Starting point is 00:02:32 Temporary means temporary and humanitarian, political, and economic pressures that make temporary programs functionally long term in practice, which is what Democrats are truly pushing for. Now, I don't think they're going to get away with this because even if they pass this in the House, you've got to send it to the Senate. And then the President has to sign off on this. I'm not too sure even if it made it that far to the White House that the President would really sign something like this. So, okay, why don't we go to Brandon Gill? Here's what he had to say last night. Well, remember, temporary protected status is basically extending it is basically backdoor amnesty. And remember, ask yourself, does mass migration from Haiti make Americans better off?
Starting point is 00:03:15 65% of Haitian immigrant-headed households in the United States are on welfare. Obviously, that does not make America stronger in any respect whatsoever. And we ought to have a Republican Congress who is savvy and wise enough to that to not buy into the left's idiotic arguments and to have a little bit of backbone to actually do the things that we said we were going to do on the campaign trail. This is rank amnesty. It's backdoor amnesty. Everybody knows it and it is absolutely disgraceful that any Republican would vote for it. Now, short term, it is true that labor markets could benefit from TPS to fill needed positions regarding health care and other different industries,
Starting point is 00:03:57 but long term there's a cost to that. Because again, when you allow mass migration, there's a financial cost to that. And that's what a lot of these people refuse to accept, whether it's Mondani or it's Salazar, with her own mass amnesty bill. We ultimately have to pay for the influx of people in these cities. And these budgets are not set up for that yet.
Starting point is 00:04:21 This is why you're continuing to hear more debt. continue to happen, as Mandani had said, worse than broke. That's very true. And I do recognize the humanity of it all. Hey, these people have already been here many, many years. So you want them just to leave now? I understand an argument. But again, what does the law say?
Starting point is 00:04:39 The law is very explicit. Temporary means temporary. But this is Don Bacon retiring, Brian Fitzpatrick, Mike Lawler, Maria Salazar, of course. Carlo Jimenez, Nicole Malia Takas. What is going on here? Unfortunately, TPS turns into a permanent status. We have people that's been here for 30 years. And then when we say we're going to end to protected status for you, they end up coming in and saying, well, wait a second.
Starting point is 00:05:05 It's inhumane because we're married. We have family. We have kids here. We have grandkids here. We have grandkids here. And now we're going to send you back home. But it was never supposed to be permanent. And the problem is when you start extending these programs, they become permanent.
Starting point is 00:05:17 And I have a real hard, I have a hard issue with TPS to begin with because we, you know, We don't ever end it. We always extend it. All right, so let me share this message from today's sponsor, which is super important. We're talking about your personal data. Because how many times have you received a spam call? Spam text message. And you're sitting there wondering, how did they get my information?
Starting point is 00:05:39 Well, your information's being sold on the dark web. We're not only just talking about your name or your email address. We're talking about your mailing address and your social security number. My wife and I were plagued with spam calls repeatedly. It was annoying. This is why today's video is sponsored by ORA. ORA specializes in cleaning up your data, getting it removed, and stopping the spam calls. And we already know that we can't depend on the federal government to help us.
Starting point is 00:06:02 We have to help ourselves. And that's why you should be using ORA. They will get you to see what information has been sold or leaked on the internet, and they'll help you remove it and offer 24-7 monitoring. So try ORA today for the first 14 days, absolutely free. Go to ORA.com. 4 slash DeVore or click the link in the description below. You have to protect your personal data because no one's going to do it for you. Again, that is ore.com.
Starting point is 00:06:27 4. Devorey. Okay, so Secretary Mullen is spot on about that. I mean, what's the point of having temporary protected status as a program? If you're using it on a permanent basis, it contradicts the purpose of the program. I think everybody knows that. I think we're beating a dead horse at this point. Now, speaking of beating something, the other problem with this is what just happened out of Florida.
Starting point is 00:06:51 Could we just quickly remind you guys of some, not all Haitians, but there are some who have committed heinous crimes like this one? Workers say that happened just minutes before this video was taken from surveillance cameras, showing the clerk walking outside after noticing a man smashing in her car windows with a hammer. He runs toward her, hitting her in the head, and killing her. The brutal attack sparked a manhunt that ended with police finding Robert Joaquin on Mingo Street. So does this happen every single time? No. But this shows you what will happen if we continue to allow not only just mass migration, which isn't going to happen under the Trump administration, obviously. But we don't also deal with the existing illegal aliens in our country and migrants who are under temporary protective status. Let's go to our next story, which is also related to immigration. And again, this is what happens. A lot of you guys are complaining about the administration. Some people say the president has stabbed his supporters in the back. And you know what, screw, we shouldn't even vote for Republicans in the future.
Starting point is 00:07:57 Well, just so you understand, if you guys refuse to sit out, this is exactly what we're going to get. States continuing to pay for sex changes for illegal aliens. Listen to this. Illegal immigration is exacerbating San Francisco's homeless drug crisis. Take care, guys. Be safe out here. The shelters are packed with undocumented migrants from all over the world. And more people like that.
Starting point is 00:08:21 Lysa are confidently coming forward to say they're taking advantage of all the taxpayer-funded benefits to meet their unique needs. She feel, yeah, she's underwent and she feels safe here. With the help of a Spanish translator, Liza says he's staying in a homeless shelter, identifies as transgender, and is undergoing hormone therapy to become more like a biological woman. After entering the U.S. illegally from Honduras. T-T-T-transgender. In this Manhattan Institute's City Journal investigation,
Starting point is 00:08:55 a whistleblower with access to city data on homelessness says Lysa's story is becoming more common. Universal health care for all, regardless of your immigration status. And again, if they want to privately do this, go right on ahead. I don't think people can stop. If you're a nonprofit,
Starting point is 00:09:13 you want to take private money, and you want to execute these type of sex changes for illegal aliens, go right on ahead. But if we catch an illegal, alien in your obviously business, not only should you be fine potentially arrested, but they are gone. That should be the standard. And is this happening every single day?
Starting point is 00:09:33 Are there millions like this? Probably not. It's probably a small percentage. But it shows you that if they're willing to do something like this at that particular level in this way, what else are they doing? That's why Medi-Cal, as it's called in California, is bankrupt. Especially after California Governor Gavin Newsom announced he's offering full health coverage to illegals through the state's Medi-Cal program, which includes gender-affirming care. Newsom recently reversed course, but that Pandora's box is already open.
Starting point is 00:10:03 Yes, they're safe here, they're welcome. We visited several other shelters across the city to see if anyone was tracking what was happening within this undocumented homeless transgender community. While we couldn't find statistics on the number of gender reassignment, surgeries performed on homeless illegals. Were you able to get the hormones or? Yeah, I see that with my doctor. We ran into Jacqueline, who says he received taxpayer-funded breast implants after coming over from Mexico.
Starting point is 00:10:30 Taxpayer funded? Free. Yeah. He's now waiting for bottom surgery. Yeah, even so you're undocumented, you can get him. Jacqueline claims he's now a U.S. citizen and stays at this homeless shelter along the Embarcadero waterfront. Are you happy with the results?
Starting point is 00:10:46 Yes. Regardless of anyone's immigration status, he says this state is becoming more attractive to transgender illegals. Who knew? I mean, let's go back 30 years ago. And if we got to ask Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi, you ready for it? What if we could start funding something called transgender illegals? They'd probably look at me like I'm insane. I mean, just go back 30 years and just imagine the face that they would show. their facial expressions. If they knew 30 years from now, yeah, we would be funding sex changes for legal aliens. Oh, man, that would be priceless.
Starting point is 00:11:28 To back up our statement, California's Medi-Cal program here on the screen faces a $6.2 billion shortfall driven by high enrollment. I wonder why that is. Pharmacy costs. Yeah, that makes sense. And expanded eligibility. I wonder who else is eligible now, literally anyone. The state is borrowing $3.4 billion due to a $9.5 billion surge and costs, partly from covering undocumented immigrants.
Starting point is 00:11:55 This has led to mounting financial instability with some hospitals like Paula Verte Hospital seeking Chapter 9 bankruptcy protection. What is your name again? Jacqueline. This is the first time I live in a shelter. Yeah, a lot of Latino here. So definitely some are migrants or undocumented. And me as a trans woman, I don't, I feel safe. Were you able to get the hormones or, you know?
Starting point is 00:12:24 Yeah, I did that with my doctor. So Medi-Cal, you got the breast implants? Yes. Wow, taxpayer-funded. So here in California, they gave you the breast implant here. Yes. Free? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:39 Wow. Congratulations. Do you feel like that's a good benefit for other migrants here California? Yeah, even though you're undocumented, you can get it. Did you do bottom two, bottom surgery? I'm waiting for that one. Wow, you're waiting for bottom surgery. Okay. Are you happy with the results? I mean, of course he'd be happy with the results. It's free. He didn't have to pay for it.
Starting point is 00:13:03 You know, what's fascinating is if you're from California, this actually isn't a shocker because they'd been doing stuff like this with prisoners in California. So, again, let's just take a step back here for a second. This is why the Republican party irks me because their incompetence will lead to more of this in our country. Do you guys follow what I'm saying? Which takes us to one more clip here. This is again about California, but particularly Los Angeles County. And really the context here is that more people are leaving Los Angeles County than any time in history because of the low quality of life. Now, I'm hoping we've already reached out to get an interview with Spencer Platt. I'm actually
Starting point is 00:13:41 willing to fly over there and actually do this whole thing with him. Hopefully that all goes down because I believe Karen Bass is not the answer. And I think if California, particularly people who live in Los Angeles know what's good for them, they would vote her out like yesterday. Okay. Let's go to this clip and I'm really looking forward to your guys's reaction. Watch this. For people who live in L.A. County are less satisfied with their quality of life than at any other time in the last decade. That's according to the findings of a new report just released today. And now it is news reporter Josh Haskell is here to break down the numbers and what they mean. Josh? David and Liz, 1,400 L.A. County residents were surveyed earlier this year.
Starting point is 00:14:20 The high cost of living is the main driver of the lowest score of the quality of life index has ever received. Besides cost of living, participants were asked about public safety, health care, your neighborhood, transportation, and traffic, education, the environment, jobs, and the economy, and race relations. Now, the survey found 31% are worried about a family member or someone close to them being deported from the U.S. because of their immigration status. Those surveyed were also asked about the L.A. mayor's race, with incumbent Karen Bass only receiving 25% of support with 40% undecided. 26% of residents reported wildfire-related income loss, and 56% were dissatisfied with wildfire recovery efforts.
Starting point is 00:15:05 I mean, when you have 66,000 building structures that were damaged or to shore, and only less than 1% have actually been rebuilt, yeah, I would probably be dissatisfied as well. You know, listen, Los Angeles County, for the record, is not an easy place to govern. I mean, I think that's very clear. There's definitely a diversification of cultures and opinions and politics. No doubt about that.
Starting point is 00:15:28 Crime issues, we know legal immigration. We know everybody literally wants to move there. I know it sounds crazy, but you'd be shocked at how many people that continues, particularly obviously migrants, move to the Los Angeles area. So it really, if they're going to find any level of success, they got to have a mayor and someone who's willing to do the hard right and not the easy wrong. And just a prime example, what happens when you have a leader who refuses to do their hard right, you continue to see stories like this. Now, we're in the year of 2026. These homeless encampments are still an issue. Watch. We're right across from that controversial encampment. Police responded to almost 40 calls here in the last year.
Starting point is 00:16:09 Some city leaders wanted cleared out. Others don't. The Venice intersection overwhelmed by homeless and crime, now a political battleground. I bless my dogs. Just man. It was absolutely critical. I watched a guy get shot and killed across the street. Tense dogs and bicycles taking over the sidewalk on rows. Residents that live in the area are concerned about safety. What is safety I mean? Sour sites for families trying to decide whether to walk through. Yeah, my wife and I, we've been to Venice Beach so many times. I mean, it's a very historic area.
Starting point is 00:16:45 I still would encourage you if you ever got the chance to travel to California, go to Venice Beach. It's still a great look. It was actually worse a few years ago. It definitely has improved, in my opinion, the last time we were there. But, I mean, homeless encampments are still a problem overall in Southern California in general, okay? Most people live in there. They know that. They're annoyed by that. They complained about it. And again, no matter how much money the mayor continues to throw at this, as we know, she launched her latest program that cost $300 million, it still is not fixing the issue. And why is that exactly? Well, one hand, you still have weak city council members who won't do the hard right.
Starting point is 00:17:25 And then secondly, most of these homeless people choose to be homeless. Listen to this. Council Member Rahman, you want to vote on 67 separately? at LA City Council debate over whether to ban camping on this corner. 11 eyes, four nos. Councilmember in mayoral candidate Nithia Rahman, joined by three others voting no. How can council members not in your district vote no against issues impacting your constituents? I don't know. That is a head scratcher to me.
Starting point is 00:17:54 This is councilwoman Tracy Park's district where police responded to almost 40 calls this last year, including assaults. These are individuals that have been offered alternatives again and again and again and are choosing to remain encamped on our streets. Mayor Karen Bass's office blasting Rahman's vote telling us she opposes the law prohibiting encampments next to schools and has voted against hundreds of cleanups. Rahman firing back saying there's already laws to regulate camping, adding this at best succeeds in moving homelessness around a neighborhood. Go take a look at Council District Rahman's district. And why don't you talk to her constituents about how they feel having violent, unregulated, chaotic encampments near their schools and in their parks. City crews now set to move in. Do you want to get into a shelter?
Starting point is 00:18:46 Not a shelter, but I'm saying any other thing? Shelters, me and shelters don't do each other, you mean? This man from New York has been wrapping out here for 25 years. Take me back when I was only a seed. He and others who refuse help soon to move again. Declay some type of a lot or place where we can go at. You know what I mean, it won't be no friction like it's been in the past. Reporting in Venice, Matthew Seedorf, Fox 11 News.

And again, shout out to these news affiliates. I really love it when we get to talk about stories and have clips like this because nationally this isn't really going to be a dominating story. But it is a story that continues to demonstrate why Democrats should not be in charge of anything financially.
Starting point is 00:19:56 I'm not saying Republicans are going to be perfect. I think Republicans are incompetent as well. but they don't believe in homelessness in this way. They definitely don't believe in throwing money at it and thinking that will solve all problems. And let's just take a step back. Life lesson, folks, you can have all the money in the world. It doesn't mean money will solve all your problems.
Starting point is 00:20:14 And that is the bottom line to this story. So why don't you guys share your thoughts below in the comment section, Haitian migrants. Do you believe they deserve temporary protective status for another three years? What would you do if you were in charge? And then what do you make up California, continue to waste billions on their Medi-Cal program on illegal aliens, especially some of them that want sex changes. And then give me your thoughts about the homelessness epidemic that continues to get out of
