Starting point is 00:00:31 This time it's her perception about what we should be focused on in celebrating America's 250th anniversary, as you guys may have heard already. The president delivering an epic and historic speech last night delivered a record-breaking fireworks show, which we will show you. And we're going to contrast both sides. One side is focused on positivity. The other side is focus on negativity. Let's get the negative stuff out of the way. Here's what Jasmine Crockett said we should focus on. This Fourth of July, I say celebrate a black woman that you know because whether it's an invention that she made or whether it's the very democracy that still hangs by a thread right now, there is a black woman to thank for her contributions.
Starting point is 00:01:10 Why can't we thank Asian women and white women and Hispanic? I'll do you one better. Why can't we just celebrate American citizens, particularly our men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice that allowed us to have the freedoms we have today? Why not celebrate that instead? Yeah, that's right. When you look at everything from the lens of race, all the other stuff is ignored, right? All those other attributes are ignored. There's no value there. The only value is making people feel guilty for black women in America. And why is that? Well, I think people make money off that narrative, in my opinion. That's why she goes on to say this. answering the question of what America owes black women, the answer is everything. When we think about the sacrifices that black women have made from the moment that we were stolen from our homelands and transported. Who stole you from your homelands? Answer that, Jasmine Crockett.
Starting point is 00:02:02 Who made sure that not only were you stolen, but who sold black women into slavery? Do we want to go over that just briefly? Because there wasn't white people, by the way. It was our own people. It's funny how they always leave that out. But more importantly, why is this the message for America's 250th anniversary? Please explain why that is relevant. Every background, race, skin, color, gender, ethnicity, religion played a role in what has made America the greatest country on this planet. But to recognize all of that would obviously contradict what she has to offer, which is not much.
Starting point is 00:02:44 Let me show you what the president had to offer. Here's what he said last night, is he ripped into communism as a way to push back on Democrats in their narrative. Communism is a loser, and it always will be. The communist system is the opposite of the American system, and the communist system has never worked. Our warriors did not fight communism on battlefields across the world, only to have that menace rear its ugly head right back here in America.
Starting point is 00:03:14 We're not going to let it happen. Now, when he said that statement, I got to show you how the media is reacting to that. It's actually sad, if you ask me, because everything he said there is exactly what you would want. The president of a country who is benefiting from capitalism, who has a constitutional republic. We probably would be the fiercest critics of communism, sort of speak. and sort of, I guess, instead of seeing and recognizing that, here was their reaction to this. Last night's celebration here in Washington encountered a series of weather delays, but Trump stuck it out and delivered a 40-minute address ending just before midnight,
Starting point is 00:03:57 where he praised America. But the speech also, of course, drew sharply partisan with Trump slamming communism and also pushing the Save Act. I'm not understanding how communism is partisan. Do you guys understand what I'm saying? It's almost if his speech was a negative because he trashed communism. As I stated, that's what you would want the leader of the free world to do. We would naturally push back on communism. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:04:25 Maybe that's just asking for too much. All right, let me show you something positive, which I find this to be amazing. The president actually brought out World War II veterans, the ones that are still alive today, three of them are all over the age of 100 years old, to be clear. And the reason why I'm showing you this is because why won't Democrats recognize these heroes, right? Because if anybody knows what we're fighting for and what we did fight for, it would be these veterans, right? 104 years old and looking really good, Captain Shubring is here tonight, and he is saluting the flag that went down with the Arizona at Pearl Harbor. but was raised back up with the help of some unbelievable American patriots.
Starting point is 00:05:15 It's a symbol of American defiance, please. D-Day in World War II, Navy Lieutenant Arthur Rose commanded 36 landing craft as part of the largest naval armada in history. At 107 years old, Lieutenant Rose is here to salute one of our nation's most prized possessions. the flag that flew aboard the first landing craft on D-Day and led the first Americans onto the beaches of Normandy to liberate Europe and defeat Nazi fascism forever. That is just amazing. And see, this is where I react to all of this stuff differently
Starting point is 00:05:58 because when I think of America 250 and when I think of my country and what true patriotism is in my eyes, it'd be thinking about men like that and men who are no longer alive who went through what they went through. And I think if we were to focus more on where we've been and what we overcame,
Starting point is 00:06:19 I think we would naturally have a high level of gratitude for where we are today. One more person. With us today is one of the last survivors of that battle, 101-year-old Marine Corporal Don Graves. And he's here to salute that famous flag. He saw rise
Starting point is 00:06:36 in the glory of Iwo Jima, 81 years ago, and you've all seen that flag many times. On July 16th, the Hawk lands on Netflix. From the mind of Will Ferrell. Oh, mama, I'm back. Come in love. Comes a new original series. Get ready, get ready.
Starting point is 00:06:53 That's it. Did I stutter? When an iconic pro golfer. Lonnie? Money. Huck! Takes one last swing of greatness. You were a Big Shot golfer.
Starting point is 00:07:01 I still am a Big Shot golfer. No one. Dad, I'm the Hawk now. We'll stand in his way. That's how it's done. The Hawk, only on Netflix, July 16th. If you want a $3,000 a month payday for life, what would you feel free to do? Maybe take a long weekend, every weekend, or try a bunch of new hobbies.

Please play responsibly. Yeah, that is just beautiful. So, you know, you had the president. He ended up doing this speech regardless of the weather. He obviously recognized our past heroes. And they also delivered a record-breaking fireworks show you that briefly here, where those same veterans you saw on that stage got to
Starting point is 00:08:13 watch it from their own angle here. Let's take a look at it. that now. Beautiful. You know, I'm not too sure people at one point in time intended to create fireworks, but obviously, whoever did, I mean, shout out to them, right? I mean, listen, I'm going to celebrate Fourth of July, regardless of whoever the president is. And that really is the problem in today's country, is that one side doesn't see it that way. Let me show you what I am talking about here. According to this report, it says, Democrats' pride will swing based on who the president is. But for Republicans, that doesn't happen. As you guys can see here, during the Bush era, Republicans were very prideful in their
Starting point is 00:09:08 country. Even under Obama, it reached 85%. Under Trump, it still was in the 80s. Under Biden, it dipped just a little bit. But now it's back up to 92%. So overall, it's been kind of the same, right? Majority of Republicans, 9 out of 10, are very prideful of their country. Well, for Democrats, that's not the same thing. They have been, you know, going back and forth, but overall, it has dropped from 74 down to 42, now 36, a record low. I'm going to celebrate the 4th of July, regardless of whoever the president is. They have no bearing on my love for this country. And I think that's the fundamental difference between people who naturally lean right and are conservative with their views and people who are liberal, particularly progressives, who have a
Starting point is 00:09:53 pessimistic point of view of our country. And I'll prove to you what I'm saying here. Let's go to this liberal online who's going viral for essentially burning the U.S. flag as a way to exercise our First Amendment right, but obviously virtue signal by being someone who's against the current administration. In 1989, the Supreme Court ruled that the burning of the American flag in political protest is an act protected under the First Amendment as a form of free speech. Every day, Donald Trump is actively declaring war on the Constitution and our civil rights. Without free speech and the right to protest, this flag is no longer a symbol of freedom that the people fought and died for. So let's get this straight.
Starting point is 00:10:40 You're going to burn the U.S. flag because of one man, which essentially means you are giving this one man more power than the country itself. Imagine that. That's how convoluted these ideas are, really. I don't put Donald J. Trump above United States of America. He is the current leader. He's the current commander in chief, but he's going to lead that office in 2028 and then a new commander in chief will come in, right? So why would you ever put some man on a pedestal to the point where it causes you to burn the United States of America flag? Someone, please explain that to me. Again, that's how wicked they really are. Let's go to the vice president because he delivered this message yesterday, which I thought was phenomenal. Let's take a look. Loud voices today, because as much as all of us, whether we're
Starting point is 00:11:31 Democrat or Republican, whatever our political persuasion, all of us are celebrating. But you will hear a couple small but loud voices today speak obsessively, not of our national greatness, but of our national imperfections. They will speak of the powerless and the dispossessed. They will tell you that America is just another country where the weak struggle against the strong. And if they acknowledge that there is anything to be proud of in our history, they'll say it's the fact that sometimes the powerless have won a zero-sum paddle. They're wrong. They'll talk about America's sins with the anger and zeal of a brimstone preacher, but without any of the grace or forgiveness that must be present in the Christian faith.
Starting point is 00:12:21 He nailed it. Because even if I agreed with all of their grievances against America, my question then would be, then what? Shouldn't you move on? Shouldn't you, you know, be the example you want to see? That's not what they're doing, by the way. Most of what they're doing is bitching, moaning, complaining, tearing down, blowing things up,
Starting point is 00:12:47 throwing tantrums. They're not actually delivering an optimistic message. Their message is one rooted in victimization. That's why it doesn't work in the end. And furthermore, I'll give you a personal example here. Where I live in my neighborhood, there are at least four homes that have James Tala Rico signs outside. And the interesting thing is we observed this. None of them flew American flags, by the way.
Starting point is 00:13:13 All our other neighbors did. And none of them celebrated any fireworks. Lights were off the entire time. And they were home, by the way. We're very aware of who's who. And I wasn't really shocked. And by the way, they're assholes too. They don't wave.
Starting point is 00:13:27 They won't say hi to you. And it just goes to show just the natural attitude of someone who loves their country, who's patriotic, who is. is filled with gratitude, has an optimistic point of view on life versus a person who's negative and pessimistic of their country. They don't have any pride whatsoever. And they have a negative attitude naturally. I mean, that's just the way that it goes.
Starting point is 00:13:51 All right. Let's go to another example. This is stolen valor, Governor West Moore. This is his opposing message to the vice president. Yet today, the very premise of patriotism is under attack. Its meaning is being narrowed. Its purpose is being distorted. And we cannot let that happen.
Starting point is 00:14:16 So today, I want to talk about why this matters and how we can move forward together. It matters because America's strength has never come from what we claim for ourselves. It has always come from what we give to one another. We are a nation of strength because we are a nation of sacrifice and a nation of service. Our ancestors refuse to give up on the hope of America, even when America refused to extend its full promise to all. And right there is the fundamental, I guess, argument here. One side wants to focus on the grievances and the sins, as the vice president said, and the other side doesn't really want to focus on that because it's in the past.
Starting point is 00:15:03 why do we have to keep revisiting it? Let's just move on. Let's continue to make our country greater than we've ever been. And I understand both points of views. I mean, it's not as if our history is all peaches and cream. I mean, there are definitely some dark times, but that doesn't mean we should hate our country. And it definitely doesn't mean we should turn Fourth of July
Starting point is 00:15:24 into this whole Republican versus Democrat rhetoric. I mean, but that's what Democrats did. And people like Jasmine Cross, As we started off with this video, she did it in the worst way, which is to make it about skin color. Sad times when you see stuff like that. All right. Let's go to this summary, which I think brings all of this home about what really, in my opinion, what happened yesterday and what it was really all about.
Starting point is 00:15:53 Liberty and the pursuit of happiness. What a day and a night celebrating America's birthday. From the record setting heat, then you have the record setting fireworks and in between a rain and lightning storm. truly there was never a dull moment. Now, starting with the end of the night, the fireworks show, President Trump called it the best ever, but it was also the biggest ever, reportedly in the world. It used about 850,000 fireworks and lasted about 40 minutes.
Starting point is 00:16:18 Now, during the day, I was on the National Mall, and the heat was intense. They opened the American State Fair late because of that. And in the evening, the weather turned. Rain poured and concern over to lightning caused the organizers to evacuate the mall. Now, eventually the gates did reopen, as you mentioned, and the president was able to give his celebratory address on the achievements of America,
Starting point is 00:16:38 including the remarkable actions and words of our founding fathers, those principles of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, as well as the creation of the Bill of Rights and the Constitution. So hopefully you guys had a great Fourth of July. And the bottom line to this video today, guys, is that hopefully we were able to show you clearly what one part of the country is going to continue to focus on. Pestimism. They want to be negative. They want to focus on the sins, even though they are just as sinful in some ways. Other side just wants to focus on the love they have for their country, which there's nothing wrong in doing so.
Starting point is 00:17:15 Democrats will still try to say by doing that, it's a narrow view. And I push back on that, obviously. And where I always arrive to when thinking about being an American citizen is something my wife brought up to me last night. and 4%. 4% of the world are American citizens. 4% of the world are citizens of America. Only 4% think about that. That means people have a 4% chance of being born in the United States of America. You could have been born anywhere else.
Starting point is 00:17:54 But if you were born here, wow, 4%. So given that particular number, given that there are communist countries that we could have been born into, that we've seen the socialism at work, whether that's Cuba, Venezuela, where they see triple four, five-digit level inflation rates, I'm going to take America's experiment at 250 years. I'm going to take this young country's experiment over everything I've seen up to this point. And I've been around the world. I've been to some countries, okay?
Starting point is 00:18:31 And I think that's what's missing. Yes, there's economic issues. There's no doubt about that. What younger adults are facing today is definitely different than younger adults in 1950. There's no doubt about that. But ladies and gentlemen, the principles are still the same. This is still the greatest country. We still have capitalism.
Starting point is 00:18:50 The opportunities are abundant. It may be a little bit more difficult, but it's not impossible. And that's the fundamental mindset of Americans is, anything is possible, especially when we set our mind to something, which is why we've survived up to this point. And it's also why the founding fathers who were actually young, by the way, were able to accomplish what they did. So don't let anybody make you become sour on America. Keep your faith and keep your patriotism to yourself, regardless of whoever's in charge and regardless of whatever else is saying.
