Starting point is 00:00:00 All right, in today's video, we have breaking news from two members of Congress today on both sides of the aisle. One coming from Eric Swalwell. He has announced that he may resign from Congress shortly. And Tony Gonzalez, on the Republican side, announced the same thing. And then we continue to see this epidemic of teen takeover in these blue cities. So what the heck are mayors doing about it? Well, we get into all of that in this video. Let's start with these announces from Eric Swalwell and Tony Gonzalez.
Starting point is 00:00:26 Watch this. We have breaking news because the five gets results. Maybe. Eric Swalwell is resigning from Congress. He said this in a statement. I am deeply sorry to my family, staff, and constituents for mistakes in judgment I've made in my past. I will fight the false, the serious false allegation made against me. However, I must take responsibility and ownership for the mistakes I did make. I am aware of efforts to bring an immediate expulsion vote against me and other members, expelling anyone in Congress without due process within days of an allegation being made is wrong, but it's also wrong for my constituents to have me distracted from my duties.
Starting point is 00:01:04 Therefore, I plan to resign my seat in Congress. I will work with my staff in the coming days to ensure they are able in my absence to serve the needs of the good people of the 14th congressional district. So Max Gordon, he's out in California. He's got the latest for us. I had you on Newsroom this morning. This is quite a turn of events. Yeah, absolutely. You know, this isn't necessarily unexpected, but it is definitely a shock to the political world. You know, he was a leading candidate for California governor just a couple of days ago, but then this bombshell report came out in the San Francisco Chronicle with allegations that he sexually assaulted a woman while he was, or she was one of his staffers. Then CNN came out with a separate report interviewing three additional
Starting point is 00:01:50 women saying that there was some sexual impropriety that that had gone on. It was really just a weekend of implosion for his campaign. Yeah, that's a very nice way of putting it, that it was an implosion over the weekend. But the speed at his, you know, peak level of being obviously one of the top people to run for the governor, according to polls, he was at least top three, to the point where everybody has essentially disavowed him that pretty much forced him to resign from Congress. tells you how bad it really is. Now this is just really step one in the process just because he resigned from Congress. That doesn't fix the problem we have on our hands. I mean, elected members of Congress are getting wrapped up in what we call sexual assault, rape allegations, meaning they're doing
Starting point is 00:02:38 everything but for what they have been sent to D.C. to do, if that makes sense. And he wasn't the only one today, which is so interesting. So Eric Swalwell on the Democrat side announced his resignation, and so did Representative Tony Gonzalez on the Republican side. Take a listen. We've got some breaking news in our politics. We need Republican Congressman Tony Gonzalez of Texas has just confirmed he plans to retire from Congress. I want to go straight back to the CNN's Manor Raju on Capitol Hill. Mano. Yeah, this has been a scandal that has engulfed this congressman for several weeks in the aftermath of revelations that he had an extramarital affair with his aid. That aid later died by suicide. Initially, Tony
Starting point is 00:03:19 Gonzalez had denied having any sort of extramarital affair, but as the allegations were mounting, he admitted to that. Then he decided not to run for the election, and he indicated repeatedly that he would not resign his seat from the House. But moments after the decision by Eric Swalwell caught up in a separate sexual misconduct scandal, Gonzalez himself making the decision to resign, following Eric Swalwell's decision to resign, Gonzalez himself saying he will step down from Congress, saying on act saying this, there's a season for everything, and God has a plan for us all.
Starting point is 00:03:53 When Congress returns tomorrow, I will file my retirement from office. It has been my privilege to serve the great people of Texas. Now, the decision by both Gonzalez and Swalwell has a couple of key ramifications, one of which is that they both can avoid a House Ethics Pro. Both men were facing an investigation, but now that members are no longer serving in the House, that committee, the ethics committee, no longer has jurisdiction over those members. All right. So let me share this message from today's sponsor, which is super important.
Starting point is 00:04:26 We're talking about your personal data. Because how many times have you received a spam call, spam text message? And you're sitting there wondering, how did they get my information? Well, your information's being sold on the dark web. We're not only just talking about your name or your email address. We're talking about your mailing address and your social security number. My wife and I were plagued with spam calls repeatedly. annoying. This is why today's video is sponsored by ORA.
Starting point is 00:04:50 ORA specializes in cleaning up your data, getting it removed, and stopping the spam calls. And we already know that we can't depend on the federal government to help us. We have to help ourselves. And that's why you should be using ORA. They will get you to see what information has been sold or leaked on the internet, and they'll help you remove it and offer 24-7 monitoring. So try ORA today for the first 14 days, absolutely free. Go to ORA.com. 4 slash DeVori or click the link in the description below. You have to protect your personal data because no one's going to do it for you. Again, that is oar.com, 4-slash-devore.
Starting point is 00:05:25 And that is the disturbing part, the fact that they're finding an easy way to handle this, which is to resign now so they don't have to face a House Ethics Committee investigation, which we know is all bad and it's proof that they should be expelled from Congress. So let's avoid the embarrassment of an expulsion and just resign. That's essentially what they're doing. But it's not going to shield them from prosecution. For example, Eric Swalwell out of Manhattan. We'll see where that goes.
Starting point is 00:05:54 And we haven't heard of an actual indictment or investigation into Tony Gonzalez from the DOJ. So we'll see about that. But Sher Michael Singleton made the same point on CNN. Take a list. Sure, Michael, do you think GOP leaders should have asked Gonzalez to take the step earlier? I mean, obviously, there would have been balance of power implications. I assume, but he's been hanging on. Sure, but Anderson, who cares respectfully about balance of power?
Starting point is 00:06:21 I'm not saying this to you, but I'm just saying broadly speaking. Who cares when you have a member amongst your ranks who have clearly violated what I presume should be an ethical or moral principle of conservatives, but hell, any decent person? Who cares if you lose a vote? You should want people like that amongst your ranks. And to me, as a Christian, do I put my political values? above my moral and spiritual ones? Of course not.
Starting point is 00:06:48 And my expectation is that our leaders on both sides should not do the same. And what I'm worried about in Anderson is a month from now, two months from now, we will have moved on. We'll be on to the next story. But what about the young staff women who have to carry this shame,
Starting point is 00:07:05 this predatory behavior with them for the rest of their lives, that they will never get over? They'll never get their justice. They'll never get their due day, in court because we've buried it. We've moved on and that's something that Congress continues to perpetuate and to me I think we have to keep focused on this to make sure that it doesn't continue because these guys going away doesn't stop this. It really says, well, we'll just,
Starting point is 00:07:32 we'll pay attention to them. We won't make sure, we'll make sure this never happens again. Here's the other thing to add on. They still are going to get their health care, their retirement benefits because they elected to resign. They were not expelled. So they're not going to going to lose any of that. And that seems to be the issue here. It's another way to avoid true accountability. Now, this isn't over. Moore is going to come out of this, of course. And I got to tell you, the fall of Eric Swalwell is really striking. Yeah, I mean, I cannot think of a faster fall from grace in modern political history. I mean, over the course of Friday afternoon, in a span of about 15 minutes.
Starting point is 00:08:12 He lost not only the support of, you know, pretty much everybody in the party, but all of his best friends. Ruben Gallego, who had put out statements in the past calling Eric Swalwell his best friend in Congress, put out a statement late this afternoon, calling for Eric Swalwell to be expelled. He lost his support over the weekend of his staff,
Starting point is 00:08:36 all saying, you should drop out. Even staffers who potentially could lose their own jobs in the process. So Eric Swalwell left with essentially no support from anyone in any direction, no support to run a campaign, no money, no organization, no message, and no support to even run a congressional office. And so right now, he's left with nothing and no job and potentially, Anderson, criminal charges. And again, we were talking about this on the live show earlier, how women could truly be a downfall for men out there. I'm not saying women are the problem.
Starting point is 00:09:14 It's men who cannot focus on their purpose. That's the crazy part about this. This is a great case study for men out there, especially younger men. Don't end up like Eric Swalwell, if you know what I mean. All right. Let's go to our next story. And really, we're talking about young adults again.
Starting point is 00:09:30 This is about the epidemic, if that's what we want to call it, of teen takeovers in cities like Los Angeles, Chicago, South Carolina, and other places across the country that is really sweeping things dramatically. And it's led to a point where now even mainstream media is covering it because things are getting out of hand
Starting point is 00:09:50 and these Democrat mayors are refusing to crack down on this. Let's start here. This is what passes as their social life these days. But don't worry, officials are insisting it's all under control. In D.C. 14, only four, arrested after a mob swarm that popular Navy Yard neighborhood last week. And in LA, yesterday, four were hospitalized after gunfire broke out. Here to discuss is Dr. Darren Porcher, former NYPD lieutenant.
Starting point is 00:10:37 Darren, thank you for joining us tonight. Police are outnumbered and seem to be overwhelmed in these situations. What can be done? This is an easy fix from a law enforcement visionary perspective. one of the things that police should do is marrying with the technology. When we look at this video, we see this appears to be young people. So more than likely, this gathering was organized on social media.
Starting point is 00:11:05 So you should have a unit within that police department that monitors the social media platforms, such as TikTok and Instagram. And that's when you would be able to establish that there is a potential meetup. Once you establish that this potential meetup is going to happen, that's when you place officers in an omnipresenter, perspective and you're able to
Starting point is 00:11:24 interdict this before it manifests the chaotic scene that we see on the screen. You see, that is what common sense sounds like from a policing point of view. It isn't hard, it's not difficult, but I guess if you're defining the police department, maybe
Starting point is 00:11:40 you're not going to even have the personnel to do that, if that makes sense. And on the other hand, this is a lack of parenting. Now, the fascinating part about all these clips, they're going to have one theme involved. They're going to have one thing that they all have in common. And I'm not going to tell you what it is yet. But I think that really is the source of the problem here. Susan, a very intense morning here in Rosemead, that's
Starting point is 00:12:02 free takeover and gunshots. Take a look at this intersection where it all happened, all that burned rubber. A lot of this caught on camera. The latest street takeover in LA County ending with gunfire. Hundreds sprinting for cover at 2 a.m. Sunday morning in Rosemead as bullets ripped through the darkness. Four people shot, all expected to survive. It's disturbing. It's loud. And then now they're shooting. It's ridiculous. A neighbor near Delmar and Garvey, too afraid to show her face on camera, says the noise and gunfire woke up her family.
Starting point is 00:12:37 What do you think about having this happen so close to home? I'm moving. Really? Definitely. I just saw the police car, block, block, block. Nearby workers stunned as authorities checked businesses per surveillance video and clues. Last month, crowds. smashed windows and stormed into a luxury apartment building steps from crypto.com arena, one person stabbed.
Starting point is 00:12:59 And if you start mayhem, you will be arrested. We have zero tolerance for breaking windows and running amok. L.A. Mayor Karen Bass condemning that incident downtown, calling for increased patrols and enforcement. Well, no one's really going to listen to what the mayor has to say because she's not really about law and order. And the thing about policing is people know what it is based on your presence. I mean, just look at Washington, D.C. When you send in the National Guard federal authorities and beef up the local police and everywhere you go you see these people, you're not going to be taking over anything.
Starting point is 00:13:35 You will think twice about committing crime. So we know it works. The problem is sanctuary city policies inherently don't like police presence, right? They don't want to see people getting their homes rated. They don't want to see people getting around. But then on the other hand, they don't want teens taking over downtown. So which one is it exactly? Now, let's go to a couple of these clips.
Starting point is 00:13:58 This is the teen takeover in Washington, D.C. that also took place over the weekend in the Navy Yard. Look at this. So that was Washington, D.C. as you guys seen, and I want you to keep in your mind who you saw and what they looked like and pay attention to this clip coming out of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Watch. So whether it's down to...
Starting point is 00:15:51 whether it's a random intersection or whether it's Walmart, it continues to be a reoccurring thing in our country of individuals continue to storm these areas, disrupt the peace. And then what happens in the end? Are they really arrested and held the cannibal? What are these local cities truly doing to crack down on this behavior? Now, we know Karen Bass is she's full of empty threats. We know Brandon Johnson, empty threats. They say what they're going to do, but they don't actually do it. it continues to happen. And not only is it continuing to happen, but it continues to get worse. Now, I mentioned Walmart, right? Take a look at it. So we have more clips to show, but I'm not going to just keep showing you people getting beat up and causing chaos. I think we're making our point. So number one,
Starting point is 00:16:43 for whatever reason, and I hate to put it to you this way, but I know it through my own personal experience. When I went to Willow Ridge High School in Houston, Texas, that high school ended up being shut down, not because of low test scores, but because the kids of the school continued to riot. In fact, when I attended, they were setting the restrooms on fire. What am I saying? This is a problem within the black community. For whatever reason, and I can't put it on it. Maybe parenting, probably is at the top of the list. Black people inherently, when you're looking in some of these deep communities, especially in these bigger cities, have a habit of engaging in this type of activity. when really they should be engaging in the activity of developing themselves,
Starting point is 00:17:29 focusing on their education, right? These are things that other cultures do. Like you don't see Asians taking over downtown, right? I mean, I think that's fair to say. You don't see people from India taking over downtown. But, okay. But again, if I could start going down that road, I am an Uncle Tom, right?
Starting point is 00:17:52 It's really hard-breaking. Okay, so this takes us to the other ridiculous stuff that happened over the weekend as far as Democrat cities not under control. This is Savannah Hernandez getting shoved to the ground outside of the Whipple Ice Distention Facility in Minneapolis. Watch it for yourself. What are anti-ice activists hiding? Independent journalist Savannah Hernandez showed up in Minneapolis to try to find out. I can come here today to, you know, try and interview people. I came here to simply observe.
Starting point is 00:18:27 And you need a back to out of my name. The TPUSA Frontlines reporter found out that the stop hate crowd is the most vicious bunch you could ever come face to face with. And the attack on Hernandez turned into a family affair, entered the dad, Chris Ostrachoko, known on social media as the Minnesota Angry Man. Hernandez is about five foot four or so, and this beast with the bulging eyes appeared to violently shove her to the ground. You can't see his eyes for some reason in that, but suffice it to say, it's big bulging eyes. Now, she wasn't hurt worse? Yeah, well, she's lucky for that. Now, at that point, she was just trying to get out of there, but the daughter returned to the scene.
Starting point is 00:19:42 So I text it Brandon Tatum, who was the creator of this company called Blackline Guardian Fund. And I was like, she needs black, I said Black Guardian Fund. And I was actually wrong. It's Black Line Guardian Fund. She needs this. Here's the website here. So Black Line Guardian Fund, in case you guys are not familiar with it, it's a way for people who support these creators to get security.
Starting point is 00:20:09 So you can fund their own security. like if you're a big fan of Savannah Hernandez, go to Blackline Guardian Fund and fund her security because what's missing in that whole video is where is your security at? I don't get it. So let's hope that she ends up, you know, working with Brandon there
Starting point is 00:20:31 and getting the protection she deserves because I don't think we should be seeing things like this. And it's so fascinating, the party of peace and love decides to encourage his behavior. And by the way, the father did an interview with Jin Saki. Okay, that's a whole other thing, right? Let's continue.
Starting point is 00:20:49 This is insane. I saw it firsthand when I was in Minneapolis. These people are terrifying to young women. She's five foot four, and she's lucky she wasn't hurt worse. And look, you know, my heart goes out, and this shouldn't happen in the United States. But you know, it feeds all this. mayors and governors and members of Congress who want to vilify Republicans. They want to vilify President Trump.
Starting point is 00:21:19 They want to vilify Attorney Point USA because they have a conservative beliefs. I mean, they attack journalists. Well, they also attack sworn law enforcement officers. We're living in the country now where an ICE officer gets attacked daily. These protests, these attacks not only happened where Sarah was, it also happened in Los Angeles, Portland, Chicago. It's an ongoing dilemma, and that's why I'm grateful the FBI stepping in. DOJ is going to seek prosecution on this, because at this point, I don't trust any local jury
Starting point is 00:21:49 in a sanctuary jurisdiction. I'd much rather see the feds pick it up and charge it with a federal crime, because the sentence is going to be a lot more stringent, and it sends a strong message. But we cannot give up on this. We've got to keep prosecuting these people. 18 U.S.C. 111, you know, interference of soul. record high number of prosecutions. We've got to continue on that path on all these people accountable.
Starting point is 00:22:13 We cannot accept this as a norm in the United States of America. All right. So I'm glad that she wasn't seriously injured because she could have been, as you guys know. Two, I hope that she does get serious security. And one example would be going through Blackline Guardian Fund. And three, it's another indictment on blue cities. Again, soft on crime policies, and the fascinating part about it is they are the party known as bait and switch. Understand what is upon us.
Starting point is 00:22:49 They are going to run a midterm election campaign, screaming affordability, screaming quiet and safe communities. And then when they get elected, they will do the opposite. We're already seeing that with Abigail Scamberger and New York City Mayor Zaraamondani. but I see it. I know you see it. How about the independence out there? Something tells me that may not be the case, but let's obviously wish for the best. Now, having said that, let's get your guys' thoughts in the comments section below to these stories today. One, what do you think of Eric Swalwell resigning from Congress? Then what do you think of Tony Gonzalez? So that's one Democrat, one Republican. What do you make up what happened with Savannah Hernandez?
Starting point is 00:23:39 And then this continuous teen takeover that continues to happen. And usually it's black kids doing it. Just give me your thoughts, everything you got in the comments section below. Okay. So Zoramandani stunned New Yorkers over the weekend as he celebrated 100 days of his disastrous administration. And yes, disaster is the proper term as we will show you in that video. He even brought out Bernie Sanders. to make his case.
Starting point is 00:24:07 So if you guys missed out on that update and more, click on the video because it's coming up right now.
