Breaking news coming out of the state of Maryland, local sheriffs are now calling out the governor and local officials after cooperation with ICE has been banned.

They are claiming innocent people are now going to get hurt. This all comes as Democrats are now demanding publicly mass amnesty for the millions of legal aliens that crossed over the border under Joe Biden. Let's start with what the sheriff had to say. Take a listen. This is nothing more than politics over public safety. And we as elected sheriffs are fed up with it. You don't see this many sheriffs in one location in the state. any given time. But we have to come together in unison to stop the ridiculousness that's going on

up here in Annapolis, Maryland. And lawmakers need to wake up and realize Marylanders and the American people want public safety over politics, and they're not getting it. So this is another heartbreaking plea from a sheriff, a law enforcement official who is actually contradicting what the state representatives and the governor wants. We're talking about Governor Westmore, that is. Okay, this sheriff is dead on about what he is stating. I'm, I want to go to a particular quote from another sheriff who also said this. They want to do everything they can to handcuff law enforcement, handcuff sheriffs across the state. I mean, guys, we've seen this and what happened under the Biden administration when he opened up the border and refused to allow border patrol to do their jobs.

What happens in the end? Innocent people get hurt. The results are disastrous. They're literally doing this again in real time and hope people are taking note of that. And so let's go to this next clip where you get to witness the mindset behind these type of policies that are disastrous. They don't really care about illegal aliens killing American citizens. Take a listen. He is supposed to represent all people. When you go through some of the moments he went to, right, he pointed to a little girl, Delilah, who was almost killed by an illegal alien, miraculously came back.

She was there with her death. When you have Democrats who won't stand and applaud her recovery, yeah, I think that's crazy. Sadly, people are killed in America every day. Sadly, and the majority of them are killed by U.S. citizens. So whether an undocumented immigrant, whether it's an undocumented immigrant or a U.S. citizen who is the perpetrator, the bottom line is somebody has died or someone has been seriously injured. All right, well, number one, let's just be clear about something. The reason why special attention should be paid to when illegal aliens kill American citizens is

because the previous administration allowed them into the country. So it means it could have been prevented. And their lives are just as valuable as anybody else. Number two, yes, American citizens kill each other, which is why the administration has been focused on sending federal resources into these cities. But because of sanctuary city policies, they don't want the federal government's help. And obviously, number three, having said that, Democrats don't believe in cracking down on crime. They lead with the word empathy, okay?

And there's also another word they lead with amnesty. Listen to this candidate who's running for Congress out of the state of Illinois. Here's what she had to say about that. We abolish and prosecute ICE. We need to repeal the Patriot Act. We need to lift refugee caps. And we need to offer complete amnesty and citizenship to any immigrant here who has not committed a violent crime.

Additionally, we need trials. There is no moving forward without justice. Stern words for Greg Bovino aren't enough. Body cameras aren't enough. We need people willing to put everything on the line, not when it's politically convenient and not have their hands in their pockets. Okay, so number one,

this is a woman who's been federally indicted for her assault against ICE agents in Chicago, just so you guys understand, and she's running for Congress. Number two, mass amnesty is just a non-starter. We saw what it did to the state of California, thanks to Ronald Reagan. It does not yield the positive results

they think it will. And number three, it is no question that sanctuary cities inherently contradicts the meaning of public safety. I think we all can agree to that. Except if your name is Congresswoman Presley, where you actually believe ICE is truly the KKK. April, again, as someone who's been calling for the defunding and abolishing of it since 2018, it cannot be reformed. This is not about training, in my opinion. This is not about new standards or protocols. If the KKK cannot be reformed, then ICE certainly cannot be because this is just another group of masked white militia. All right. Well, here's what we need to know. Democrats continue to spew that rhetoric and ignore the real crimes that are happening in our country.

I will prove it to you here because coming out of Houston is a major update regarding illegal aliens who finally have been arrested after robbing and committing burglary and multitude of states against people who were serving in Congress against celebrities and athletes. Yeah, this has been happening for quite some time and they finally caught the person behind it all. Take a listen. And tonight, Houston police say they've captured one of the masterminds behind a South American burglary ring. Police say the ring is responsible for more than 60 break-ins across the Houston area and countless more around the country. ABC 13th, Luke joins us live with exclusive details, all new at 10, Luke.

Was one of the major players behind the Chilean burglary ring responsible. January 28th, he and his wife, Tanya Barra, were arrested by HPD's Westside Crime Suppression team. Together, investigators say Munoz and Barra were funding and directing many of the break-ins. Munoz allegedly selling these jamming devices to a separate Colombian burglary ring. to disrupt home security systems. They have multiple antennas and radios built into them. Nigel Nielsen owns the IT firm Ideal Tech. He's familiar with the jamming devices,

illegal to own under federal law. It's sending out a really strong signal to overwhelm the signal of your security cameras, your alarm systems, your cell phones. During a break-in last year, all together, Houston police say they've arrested 20 members of the burglary ring and recovered $4 million worth of stolen property.

It's the same crime ring linked to break-ins at the homes of professional athletes in Ohio, Wisconsin, and Kansas. Munoz was previously charged to send us in Los Angeles for the 2022 break-in of then-congresswoman Karen Bass's home. So even when they're victims of the crimes that they enable through their policies, they still don't have the heart to do the right thing. That's the fascinating part about it. Greatness in life does not come from being progressive. It comes from conserving the principles that makes things run in an orderly fashion. I mean, that's just plain common sense. and here's the information of how they got into the country and why is just another embarrassment overall. Take a look.

Munoz and his wife were booked into the Harris County Jail last month on charges of tampering with government records. Munoz allegedly caught with a fake Mexican passport and fraudulent car title. His wife investigators say had used a fake Argentinian ID to rent an apartment. Days later, Munoz was charged in connection with the October 4th break-in of a home in this gated Royal Oaks neighborhood. Investigators say he'd broken through a window after jumping a fence, then pried open a safe and stole four watches, each worth thousands of dollars.

When police searched his apartment, they say they found watches, jewelry, and other pricey items. This child's bedroom, pry bars and a jamming device, potentially damning evidence in a series of crimes spanning across the Houston area and perhaps the country. Yeah, I showed you guys this story because most people are not actually educated regarding Border Patrol and ICE. There is a department within that agency that focuses on investigations, and they would be much more successful if local authorities were telling them about people like this. And this is my stance, and maybe you guys feel different about it, I don't believe we should be wasting tax dollars on people who commit crimes in our country. as soon as they commit a crime, unless it's murder, they should be deported immediately. Let's not even waste any time.

Let's not waste our judge's time, a jury's time, prison time, our resources, our tax dollars. Just get them out of the country. Because who's to say that while they're serving that the next administration won't let them loose again back into the community and will refuse to get them deported? That could happen. That's why I say just get them out. All right. Maybe you guys agree.

Maybe you don't. But while this is all happening, let's go to Congress, Senator Leader Thune. What are they up to this morning? Well, it's bring your dog to work day, I suppose. You haven't been hanging around the shit, but everybody knows the baby dog story, right? So it's a dog and pony show, folks. The American people still support mass deportation. They still support removing people who are here unlawfully.

They still support the president's work on the border. And what has Congress done as a result? They haven't passed the SAVE Act yet. What's going on with that? You see, again, this goes back to what I always say. The problem and the solution is with Congress. Increasing public safety in your community is not really a complicated thing. We've already seen it from the president and what he did to D.C.

And Memphis and New Orleans. But if Congress could actually focus on creating a better policy to crack down on crime as what we've seen from the president, it could be a permanent thing. All right. Why don't we go to my supporting clip here? This is CNN continuing to show America's support

for what the president has been doing. This, I think, is so important to note. After all the events in Los Angeles, after all the events in Minneapolis, after all the events of the last year on immigration, can Democrats actually take advantage on this issue? And a look at the polling, suggests actually, no, they're in a worse position

than they were at this point during Donald Trump's first term. Take a look here. Trust which party more on immigration. In 2018, Democrats had an edge of about six points. You come over to this side of the screen now. Look at that. Republicans are the ones who have actually have an edge on immigration. So this whole idea that Democrats are going to be able to take advantage

of the immigration group, of the immigration issue, actually doesn't bear itself out in the polling, despite everything that's between. going on? In fact, Democrats are in worse position than they were during Donald Trump's first term. Yeah, maybe they don't like what Donald Trump, the president is doing, but they don't think Democrats will do a better job. Correct. They think Democrats will do a worse job on immigration than Republican. Now, now think about that. After everything that has happened up to this point, all of the social media clips, all the mainstream media reporting, all the anti-Trump rhetoric,

anti-ice rhetoric, anti-ice protests, seizing hotels, right, assaulting officers, you got middle schoolers, high schoolers walking out after all of that, CNN is still saying American people support what the president is doing on immigration. What does that tell you? That tells you, they're not really telling you the full truth. They're not showing both sides and people can see through it. And sanctuary city policies is something you can feel, you can experience. That's why I've always argued, black people in D.C. They didn't complain when the National Guard came to their city because they know what it feels like to live under crime. That's why they weren't protesting.

That's why they're not marching in these protests, burning down businesses and assaulting officers. They're not engaged in that because they see through it. Let's continue. All right. What about border security in general? Okay. Border security in general.

So this is immigration at large. What about border security? Look at this. Look at these numbers. Hello. Party trusted more on border security. Again, at this point Trump's terms. Look at this in 2018.

Republicans had a 13 point advantage. If anything, the advantage is a little bit larger now. Republicans up by 15 points. So when you put it all together, you put immigration with border security and the idea that Democrats will be able to take the ball and run away on it, the polling data suggests no, no, no, this is actually an issue that Republicans should be more comfortable running on than Democrats. Democrats bring on immigration may actually be to the Republicans advantage.

What about when you compare President Trump with former President Biden? Yeah, okay. So, you know, we speak about President Trump's approval rating right on immigration, not being as high as it once was. But I'll tell you who the heck it's a lot higher than at this point in his term. And that's the predecessor, Joe Biden. Look at this, approval and immigration

at this point in presidency. Biden was at just 34%. Donald Trump looks a whole heck of a lot better when you compare them to the alternative at 45%. And this, I think, is the big takeaway from this segment, which is you can't just look at something in isolation.

You have to compare it to the alternative. And in this particular case, when you take a look at immigration and you compare Republicans, the alternative Democrats, this is an issue that Republicans should really like and President Trump should like the comparison to Joe Biden. It's interesting. It may be that it's not as bad as a lot of people would like to think for Democrats,

but it might be bad. The Republicans may not be as high as they were a couple years ago. Correct. They're not necessarily as high as they were during Joe Biden's term, but they're much higher than they were during what I think is the correct comparison, which is during Donald Trump's first term. So when you think about how we started off today's video with the sheriff out of Maryland and another sheriff who went on the record to discuss their disdain for the policy that Governor Westmore signed, which is to essentially ban cooperation with ICE, it really breaks your heart. Because the American people support immigration, but they also support deportation.

They support cracking down on crime. But these politicians, particularly Democrats, they're not listening. And innocent people will continue to get hurt in the process. And every time someone gets hurt, they will ignore and only focus on the lives that are politically convenient for them.
