So the Democrat nominee, David Jolly, who's running to be the next governor of Florida, he has an identity crisis. He can't figure out, is he supporting Angie Nixon or not? Does he really support the DSA or not? And right now, he's in the middle of an identity crisis. Take a listen. I know you've rejected Democratic socialism and socialism more broadly several times since Nixon's victory. But realistically, are you at all concerned that Republicans were able to effectively group you

with Nixon and other progressives in the eyes of voters? Yeah. I donald wants to keep lying. I mean, I know he comes on the network and says, Jolly's a socialist. I condemn socialism. I'm a capitalist. He calls me a Trojan horse for socialism.

I'm not sure what that means. He wakes up and calls me radical. I'm not even cool, much less radical. The reality is I know we need to use government to improve people's lives while we let the private sector lead and go first. I know the economy needs to grow for everybody, and I have an old school libertarian street

that says stay out of people's life, stay out of their doctor's office, and their bedroom. Look, what happens when you're losing, when you're not meeting the moment is you start attacking the candidate. This isn't an ideological race. What Byron Donald's is doing is he's trying to break the trust in a people who tonight have come together. I really believe there's a new coalition emerging in American politics right here in Florida, rooted in democratic values, that the economy should work.

Government can do its part. Everybody's right should be protected. It's interesting what he had to say about Angie because what it means for me, if I'm a voter, it's like, oh, well, that means Angie Nixon's only been on the scene for a short period of time. She just joined DSA. But hey, you say you're against socialism. She's for socialism. Why would you campaign with her? Why not just outright condemn her?

It's because he's stuck between a rock and a hard place, as you guys know. And that's why he had to try to shift to Byron Donald's and tried to attack him. But guys, David Jolly is a complete joke. Sounds like a hyperbolic statement. Let me prove it to you. Watch these clips back to back in regards to the policies he actually believes in. They're wrestling trying to resolve it on behalf of all Americans, their fundamental and constitutional rights, their respect and their dignity, or you're working to humiliate them. And I think it's been pretty disgusting what we've seen from Republicans in the past several years on this.

Look, I don't think we need to knock down that youth soccer player who is working with their family and their doctor on whatever their current, you know, crisis is personally. I think it can be supportive of them to allow them to play in youth sports. And there it is. that he has no problem with boys, played in girls' sports. And again, the pushback is DeVore. Why are conservatives or Republicans so obsessed with this issue? I'm not obsessed with this issue. I am responding to every issue that the Democrats continue to obsess over. They obsess over trans rights. Remember, a trans woman is a woman in their eyes, right? Trans athletes have rights, okay? These are their slogans. They make T-shirts, okay? They have groups and, and, and,

and fundraising and nonprofits and all these other programs essentially dedicated to this trans issue. So no, we are responding to it, just like we respond to immigration, just like we respond to the economy. It's all the same stuff. Now, let's go to Angie Nixon, because even MSDNC is not sold on her either. They have an identity crisis as well. Take a look. I'm struck by the fact that you put, you said you joined DSA, you joined the NWACP, you join the working Families Party. So did you join DSA? Is this about the organizing capacity and less about the

issues? Because even today, like Republicans across the country, but especially the Republican Senate campaign committee, they are coming out, hitting you as a socialist. It's not aligned with Florida values. But the answer you're giving today makes me feel like it's not about the socialist. It's about the organizing capacity. Is that accurate? It's actually, yeah, no, it's actually about the issues that they care about the most, right? And DSA has, they didn't help me on my campaign. They didn't endorse me and anything like that. But I am in somewhat of alignment with some of their platform issues. And I want to be clear, I'm not in alignment with everything that the Democratic Party is in alignment with, especially when it comes to like the leadership.

Hakeem Dutfries just stated that he's not really supportive of Medicare for all. I am. All right. Now, before we continue, I'd love to share a message from our sponsor, today chapter. you couldn't have asked it any other way than to help her clarify, what are you for, Angie? And again, this is what the people of Florida are going to have to, I guess, entertain. She's going up against Ashley Moody. I find it hard to believe that she's going to beat Ashley Moody. But if you're from Florida, please chime in in the comment section on what you think about this. But let's go one step further and finally see what happens when you ask Angie Nixon

a real question. Take a look. You want Medicare for all and free universal child care and pre-K. How are you suggesting taxpayers pay for that? Yeah, for sure. So thank you for that question. I have been traveling all across the state of Florida having conversations with folks. And what is evident is that everyone wants the same things, right, to be healthy, prosperous, and safe. And a lot of folks, it crosses party lines as it relates to universal child care and Medicare for all. And how do we pay for that? Actually, Medicare for all,

we're already spending the amount we would be paying for Medicare for all right now, even while folks are still paying for co-pays and deductibles and co-insurance. And that answer from her, which is really a non-answer, is why it's tough for her to win in a red state like Florida, particularly against a candidate like Ashley Moody. I mean, this is a woman who can't make up her mind.

Are you Democrat socialists or not? Do you support the Democrat platform or not? What are you actually for? Now, we do know, definitively, she supports Medicare for all because she called out Hegeem Jeffries in that statement. Yes. But again, how are you going to pay for it? She can't give us the answers.

And none of them can. It's just like what Mondani's going through right now. He's $9 billion behind what he said he needed to raise in order to fund the programs he says that he was going to give New Yorkers. and he hasn't been able to do it. So no shocker there. All right, let's put a nail in this coffin for Angie Nixon. This is a podcast she appeared on where she claimed ICE is going to shoot and kill black people unless you send her to D.C. to abolish ICE.

They are going to racially profile us and they are going to escalate things and they are going to shoot and kill us. And they are going to get away with it unless we send people like me to Washington, D.C., who are going to scrutinize and launch investigations to go after bad actors to arrest them and to put them in jail and to call for an end and an abolishment of ICE. Okay. Well, I could tell you guys right now, ICE is not going to kill black people. Black people have nothing to worry about. In fact, actually, black people could be more worried about other black people killing them versus ICE.

So I think that is a fair statement, according to the numbers. and Angie Nixon is a complete joke, but she's running against Ashley Moody, so do not take your eye off the ball, Florida. All right, let's go to our next update, and this involves the FBI. They were able to stop a terror attack that was being plotted against the New York capital in Albany. Let's take a listen. And listening to the FBI live in Albany, New York, talking about a foiled attack, thank God that they did. A woman, Jessica Bowie, Katrina, who converted to Islam about five years ago, along with the help of FBI informants were able to intercept her and kind of build the investigation around that.

Her plans pretty straightforward there blow up the New York State Capitol building. That's right. And she was, did grow up in America. We're learning, but also after September 11th, she said she went, I guess, from being like a little girl who was sad waving the American flag to now she actually has stickers celebrating the attacks on September 11th. And of course, with the 25th anniversary of the attack on the Twin Towers coming up, this is even more poignant. I want to go back to what they said at the very beginning.

She converted to what? Islam. You see, not every Muslim you run into is a problem, and you should not be scared of them whatsoever, and you shouldn't even judge them. The only problem with Islam, as we know it, there is a certain percentage that truly believes that Western civilization should not exist unless it converts itself to Islam. that's number one and number two that they should be eradicated. Again, you don't hear anybody saying I converted to Christianity and I'm going to attack the capital of this city in the name of Christ. You don't hear that. So that is something to take note and requires a little bit of nuance.

But it's unfortunate. And by the way, she may have converted to Islam, but she's not truly a Muslim. Let's just call it what it is. She was radicalized. There's no doubt about that. Actually, let's hear more about her. And between last July 21st and August 9th, they say she was seen walking around the building at least five times in taking pictures and going inside. Here are court papers that say she wrote and met with confidential sources saying, quote,

I want to destroy as much of the building as possible and kill the senators while they are meeting. I want it to have an effect on the American system. Try to get a good enough explosive, she said to one person to get in there, to kill the senators. This is the Capitol. This is destroying like huge enemies of God. These are some of the biggest American politicians. And this is the danger of politics, folks. There are people in our society that definitely has some screws loose, as I often like to say.

These are people who should not be taken lightly. They are willing to do what it takes to get the job done. And a good thing we do have something called the FBI, because this is their sole mission to, you know, prevent attacks like this from taking place. As you guys know, an informant was the one who actually tipped the FBI off during the investigation. And so that's all what should happen, by the way. But it goes back to what I was saying. The Internet's a dangerous world.

And why I say that is because there are people literally being indoctrinated by something as radical as Islam in this particular context. And there's other stuff, whether it's how people feel about Epstein or how people feel about the health care system, right, that someone like Luigi Mangiom, is actually being celebrated. His actions are being justified. Yeah, that's what the internet will do decisions. On August 5th, prosecutors say that she bought items to build a bomb at Home Depot, that she bought among the things nails, and she planned to put the bomb in a doodash bag so it would explode in the Capitol. She was arrested yesterday, an official say she told them she's going to prison for the rest of her life. The complaint also says that Bowie wanted to plan more attacks if she got away with this one, citing New Year's Eve in Manhattan Times Square,

and when a confidential source asked her why she picked New York State's Capitol Building, she said, ideally, she would have liked to pick the White House with the president, but she said, quote, that's an even harder job. Now, this wasn't the only announcement from the FBI today. We also have another one where they raided Eric Swalwell's home, seized his phone, email, laptop, and everything while he was at the airport, because this investigation is moving forward in regards to whatever he was involved with in his private life. It's now actually essentially blown up on him.

Let's hear exactly what happened. Breaking News, News Nation learning federal agents seized electronic devices from former congressman Eric Swalwell as part of the investigation into sexual assault allegations. Swalwell resigned from Congress and dropped his California gubernatorial bid back in April amidst, Allegations of assault from several women allegations Swalwell has denied. Correspondent Libby is live at the White House. Libby, what more do we know? Hi, Nicole. This all happened over the weekend.

I spoke with a law enforcement source, though, today, though, who told me that the federal agents, they intercepted Swalwell on Saturday night at the San Francisco International Airport. And while they intercepted him, they didn't arrest him, but they seized his electronic devices at the airport there. Then come Sunday morning, those federal agents also went to his home in Washington, D.C., where the source tells me they conducted a raid there and seized more electronic devices. And we're told both actions, so both what happened at the airport and Swalwell's Washington, D.C. home. That's all part of an ongoing investigation into the sexual assault allegations involving Representative Swalwell. Now, I like to believe that the American people will take the accountability whenever they can get it. And so it seems that Eric Swalwell is about to face a good amount of accountability.

I wish whatever is happening to Eric Swalwell would happen to more people in Congress or in the government if you catch my drift. But we'll take it whatever way that we can. Again, he's got a nasty history, okay? And if he was up to that stuff and more of it is obviously going to come public, I can't imagine other people in Congress who have been guilty of the same thing and are still walking free on our streets. But I guess the better question is, why would the FBI essentially be searching his home? what are they exactly looking for? Here's one perspective from CNN, their own legal analysts. Here's what he said.

What is your understanding of why the FBI would be brought in on a sex assault investigation like this? As Andy noted, typically the FBI doesn't. Yeah, I have the same reaction. So sexual assault on its own is always going to be a state crime, but on its own, it's not a federal crime. You need some federal hook. And the fact that a person under the allegation that a person may have committed multiple sexual assaults in multiple states, that still is not going to give you federal jurisdiction. That's just going to mean you might have multiple state-level charges.

And so you have to ask, what could have been the federal jurisdictional hook here? It could be, we don't know, but if some of this conduct happened on federal property or in a federal building, that would then give you federal jurisdiction. I don't know if you guys could recall this, but remember there was cocaine found in the White House? Remember there was this whole story of two men doing, you know what, in the halls of Congress? on federal property. Whatever came of that. Did anybody ever get arrested or prosecuted?

No. So it'll be interesting to see if the same thing happens with Eric Swalwell, how far this will go. Again, we'll take accountability wherever we can get it. But let's just call it what it is. I mean, a lot of crimes are committed in Congress. So what are they really going to find on those electronics from Eric Swalwell? I bet members, maybe some members of Congress might be sweating. but maybe they're not.

Maybe they're good at covering their tracks. But it seems to me Eric Swawa was not good at covering his tracks, and that's why I blew up in his face. But as Andy said, the thing we know for sure is prosecutors are able to convince, it sounds like two judges, if we have two warrants, that there's probable cause, A, that a federal crime was committed, and B, that they will find evidence of that crime in the phones and the locations to be searched.

And I'll tell you, having gone through that process of bringing that paperwork to judges, they don't rubber stamp that. They look very carefully, especially in a high-profile case like this. Now, probable cause is a lower standard than proof beyond a reasonable doubt, but it's something and it's substantial. So this is a big development. All right.
