Starting point is 00:00:00 On this, the yeas are 47. The nays are 53. The motion to discharge is not approved. Okay, that is the sound of Democrats losing once again this time in the Senate. When they attempted to pass something called the War Powers Resolution Act that would handicap the president from executing airstrikes against the country of Iran. Now, before we go any further, we'll be talking about that main update and also what happened to Chrissy Nome today as well. Let's start here. The Senate does not have the votes to pass the war powers resolution. It would have limited President Trump's actions in Iran.
Starting point is 00:00:32 This comes as Democratic lawmakers rip into the president for what they call an illegal war. Watch. Netanyahu had not found a president stupid enough to drag the United States into that war before. It is so much worse than you thought. You are right to be worried. Trump administration has no plan in Iran. This illegal war is based on lies.
Starting point is 00:00:56 When there's no set plan, when you can't hear death, day after day, we're going to do this, this, this, and this and these are the reasons why. You end up with an endless war. This is a precedent that is reckless and wrong. This isn't a war for America. Okay, so number one, this is not an illegal war. We already showed you the actual language. We showed you the history of when presidents decide to do this.
Starting point is 00:01:20 The last time Congress declared war officially was 1945, World War II. And since then, it was within the authority of the, president to essentially authorize strikes or operations within these foreign countries. And that's just the part that these Democrats don't want to tell anybody. Secondly, that's why they lost this resolution or this ridiculous vote, which would have essentially tried to handicap the president and his authority. And here's the real thing. If they don't believe what the president is doing is legal, then why not actually amend the Constitution? That's not what they're trying to do here. All right. Let's hear more on this.
Starting point is 00:01:59 effectively kills any effort to sidetrack the war. There will be a vote tomorrow in the House of Representatives, and there are at least a couple of Republicans who have signaled some of their reservations. There are Thomas Massey from Kentucky, also a Warren Davidson, a Republican from Ohio. And as you know, it's about the math in the House of Representatives. The numbers there are very, very tight. So that's something to watch as well. But really at this stage, once you've gotten into a war, the only way you can terminate the war is for Congress to cut off the money. Now, a lot of members from both sides of the aisle are reluctant to do that, especially when you have troops in theater. And I have been told by a couple of sources that we might have a request
Starting point is 00:02:39 or some information come up from the White House, maybe tomorrow, to say we need to have a supplemental spending bill for these operations in Iran. Now, because it's day five of this situation, there are people now screaming that this is an endless war that our sons and daughters are dying for Israel. I'm going to get to that comment as well. and that this is not quick. This is not short. This is the opposite of what the president promise. Remember, I just said five days, okay?
Starting point is 00:03:08 And we do know the president had already acknowledged that this could take up to weeks, possibly a few months. One thing is for sure, this is not Iraq and Afghanistan. Those wars last to 20 years. So I think people should pump the brakes on that rhetoric. But I'm not too sure that's the case because in this next clip, here's what Jessica Tarlov had to say.
Starting point is 00:03:28 Take a listen. If you think that going after a theocracy like this made of of religious lunatics who you cut off the head and a hundred more sprout out is the same. It just makes you look stupid. It's not the same. Stop. And Jesse, get your hand down. It's down. It's more challenging.
Starting point is 00:03:45 Fully down, mouth down, too. I'm not. This is like the State of the Union. They are crazy. No one who's watching this, by the way, thinks I'm the crazy one. The timeline. Are you sure about that? Probably not.
Starting point is 00:03:58 I get it. Just tweet at me. I see you. I hear you. Okay. So the timeline is completely incoherent here. We started at just a couple days and we got to four to five weeks this morning. Pete Hegg says as as long as we need to succeed and it could be up to eight weeks. We are burning through a billion dollars a day. We are spending what is it? How do you care? Listen, just hear. About money? This is so, it's so predictable. Is that still more or less than the Somalians? Listen. Oh, ha, ha, ha, we'll get to that conversation. We're using $4 million missiles to take out $20,000 drones. That is a problem. They talked about that in the briefing yesterday, and Jennifer Griffin also talked about it.
Starting point is 00:04:37 But that's what countries are doing. That's why drones are the future. I understand they're the future. It's not just our issue. That's everybody's issue. But it is our issue today. When you say that this is something that we can go in and we can be surgical and then we can get out, that's why everyone was actually okay in a bipartisan fashion with past things
Starting point is 00:04:53 that President Trump has done because they were actually surgical in short, like operations Get it. So what do you guys make of her argument? She is claiming that we're spending too much money. You heard in the earlier reporting for Fox News that they may ask for more money. So at this point, where do you stand on this issue? Now, my mindset is very clear. If you're going to do something, you better do it.
Starting point is 00:05:14 You better go all the way and see it through to the end. That's how I feel about it. Now, with context, though, I don't want the end to last 20 years, right? I mean, I think that's fair. But again, this situation is particularly different because most of this is, is in the air and it's in the sea. It's not actually on the ground. Also, there are other countries now coming together,
Starting point is 00:05:34 not just Israel, that are dedicating resources to taking out Iranians government. So maybe it won't last that long. I have no idea. You don't have a problem with the results. You have always a problem about the process. That's all you have because the results speak for themselves.
Starting point is 00:05:50 No, they don't. Cut the head off. We left the body. That's like Venezuela. I just said you left a hundred new bodies in place. And they pop up and they blow up. They better have health and dental because no one's taking that job. Pete Hicks says going back to the press just wants to hurt President Trump when they're talking about dead service members.
Starting point is 00:06:06 Look back at the coverage after Biden's disastrous evacuation of Afghanistan and the coverage of those dead service members. And I know that Pete was talking about that. And it is an important component because there will be boots on the ground and there will be more casualties. And all of these lives do matter. Are you predicting boots on the ground? Well, they're saying it's certainly an option. Jim Comer was on TV. I don't know if that's true or not.
Starting point is 00:06:30 So I think it's fair to say that the math just isn't adding up anymore, especially for families out there who are using high-interest credit cars to cover expenses from groceries to insurance premiums. In fact, if you look at the interest rates for credit cars, they're in the 20s and even 30s. That means homeowners are being buried with high-interest debt. That's why I want to tell you guys to reach out to my friend's American financing. Given the fact that mortgage rates are at an all-time low, they can help homeowners. refinance that debt into interest rates that are in the low fives.
Starting point is 00:07:02 And they're on record for saving their customers an average of $800 a month. Plus, if you start today, you may be able to delay your next two mortgage payments. There are no upfront fees, no obligation to find out how much you can save. America's home for home loans is American financing. Call them 866-939-932. That number again is 866-890-9392. or go to Americanfinancing.net 4-slash-Divory. I think the only main reaction here to what she had to say
Starting point is 00:07:34 is something that really stands out to me and I don't think it's mentioned enough is our military capabilities. The president, northern United States of America truly requires boots on ground, especially the likes of what we saw in Iraq and Afghanistan because of our military capabilities. What am I talking about?
Starting point is 00:07:53 The technology that we possess with our weapons systems, we should never have boots on ground. We have the ability to kill anyone whenever we want, wherever we want. We had that same capability during Iraq and Afghanistan, but we know what happened there. In my opinion, that was a way to make more money. But anyways, yeah, if the president decided to put boots on ground in mass, I think he would definitely lose a lot of support there. However, let's go to this clip.
Starting point is 00:08:20 This is Megan Kelly claiming that the members who lost their lives, the veterans, the service members who lost their lives through the Iranian strikes, they died for Israel, not for America. Look, there are massive divisions over what we've done here, and people are going to change their minds over the coming days and weeks one way or the other. But my own feeling is no one should have to die for a foreign country. I don't think those four service members died for the United States.
Starting point is 00:08:51 I think they died for Iran or for Israel. I think, I understand how this helps Iran perfectly well. I get it. I mean, I hope. Long term, we'll see. But they seem rather jubilant. 80% of the country does not support the Ayatollah. He was a terrible, terrible man. No one's crying that he's dead. No normal person. But our government's job is not to look out for Iran or for Israel. It's to look out for us. All right. So I think it's clear that these service members died for the United States of America. They are wearing the United States of America military uniform, particularly U.S. Army. They died for their family and for the values that they believed in. When you sign your name on the dotted line like I did when I was 17 years old, you know exactly what you're signing up for. No doubt about it. Number two, what continues to annoy me is that there are people outside the military who've never been in the military think they understand what military personnel are thinking and going through.
Starting point is 00:09:51 If you think the majority of military members are disgusted at this situation with Iran, you are the most ignorant person in the room. You don't join the military, not seeking to go to war. You join the military because you know there's a possibility that you could serve your country overseas. Okay, so let's get our next update, which is all about Capitol Hill and the drama that took place today, starting with a Marine who decided to disrupt a committee hearing. He ended up being escorted out in the process of doing that. His hand was broken. Watch. Israel is the reason for this war.
Starting point is 00:10:25 America does not want to fight this war for Israel. Let's go. Come on. Let's go. America does not want to say it's sons and daughters the war for Israel. Your inability to name that, shows you that as leaders. This is wrong.
Starting point is 00:10:47 And nobody wants to fight for Israel. As a Marine, stand up for America, was the fight for him. Okay, what we were just watching there was clearly a Marine who decided to disrupt an Armed Services Committee hearing on Capitol Hill today. They attempted to escort him out in the process of doing that. His hand was broken because they got caught in the door. And I wanted to show you this because it speaks to the problem with social media today. you have people essentially programmed to believe
Starting point is 00:11:44 that everything that the United States of America is doing is because of Israel, that they're willing to disrupt the congressional hearing and break their hand all in the same process. I mean, it just doesn't make any sense to me. Let me show you the rest of this clip because I want you to hear the reaction from the people in the crowd. Watch. Let go of your head.
Starting point is 00:12:04 The senator broke his hand. The senator broke his hand. A U.S. Senator just wrote the hand of a Marine. Sir, sir. Control your Senate. We're not in the right. Okay, sir. A U.S. Senator just wrote the hand of a Marine.
Starting point is 00:12:26 Hands stuck. Okay, so they were saying U.S. Senator. They're talking about Tim Sheehee, who's out of the great state of Montana. He was actually a Navy still just so we're going to. all clear. I don't think he had any attention of breaking his hand. He was assisting Capitol police and escorting this disruptor out of this congressional hearing. Listen, I'm not a believer in doing things like that, honestly, as far as disrupting an actual official proceeding. I think that actually distracts from the message you're trying to deliver, especially when that message,
Starting point is 00:13:00 in my opinion, is a flawed one. But that's my own personal opinion about it. I just wanted to make sure you guys knew or was aware of what was happening on Capitol Hill. Also, let's go to our next regarding Christine Nome. She was grilled again this time in the Senate. And these questions, in my opinion, were much more personal. Take a look. So Secretary Nome, at any time during your tenure, as Director of Department of Homeland Security, have you had sexual relations with Corey Lewandowski? Mr. Chairman, I am shocked that we're going down and peddling tabloid garbage in this committee today. And, ma'am, one thing that I would tell you is that he, is a special government employee who works for the White House. There are thousands of them in the
Starting point is 00:13:45 federal government. So reclaiming my time, Secretary, it has no, no authority to be making any decisions, has no authority to be making decisions. But it is also a real question. So what I would say to you is that what we do at the Department of Homeland Street. Clearly, every single day, and without any hesitation, every single day is to protect this country to make decisions. you or any federal official is sleeping with their subordinate. That should be the easiest. You should be wanting to answer that question. Because it is not about your sex life.
Starting point is 00:14:15 It is about your judgment. That kind of garbage has been refuted for years. So that I can hear my self-vice. Time belongs to the gentle lady from California. So she's talking about Corey, okay? A lot of people thought he would actually play a bigger role in this current administration. But I guess his position has been more. in the assistance of Christy Dome. And there's been reports that they have been dating or at least
Starting point is 00:14:44 have some type of intimate relationship. I don't know that for a fact. I'm not in the room with these people. I wouldn't know any of that. I could just tell you what mainstream media has been saying. And based on her reaction, I don't know. Might be true. It may, it may not be. Even if it is true, I don't really think that's an actual issue. I think there's much more issues that are more important in their relationship, if that makes sense. So let's continue this. This is another Democrat following up. Now, I want to give you an opportunity to answer on the record to Ms. Kamlogger-Dove's question.
Starting point is 00:15:17 I know you said it's garbage, and it may be, but I really think you need to say the word no into the record so that you can clear that up. I think the ridiculousness of this and the tabloids that you are quoting and referencing are insane. And this has been something that I've refuted for years and I continue to do that. What I would tell you is we can move on. Hold on. We can move on. I'm not going to belabor it. This is what you do. Hold on. I'm not doing anything. Liberal left is you go off and you attack conservative women. And you say that we're either stupid or we're sluts. All right. So listen. That's what you do. Yesterday, Richard. I will tell you, sir. I will tell you, sir. Mr. Chairman. All right. Let's move on from this, right? Because this is all just high school stuff. Now, this next question I think is makes more sense if you ask me. This is about Liam Ramos. I. As you guys know, this is the child whose father essentially abandoned him when they were seeking to arrest them because he's in the country unlawfully. And Democrats have tried to use Liam as a way to weaponize their message for the American people to, I guess, make them believe that ISIS is doing everything wrong. But I don't think it went their way during this hearing.
Starting point is 00:16:23 Detainers not honored. 17,864 detainers were declined. Declined. And now some of them, they may have been. declined early, but many of those people are out on the street. Is that fair to say? That's correct. So in these jurisdictions, they say we don't care that federal law says there's a final order of removal for this individual, and we don't care that this person's been charged with an additional crime. We're going to turn them out on the street, release this
Starting point is 00:16:49 individual out on the street, and make you send six agents, 12 agents, whatever, to get the bad guy on the street when you could have sent one to the jail and just made it easy. Is that right? That is correct. And let me just ask this. Is that the dumbest thing you've ever heard? It is a dumb. I've heard a lot of dumb things from the left as well. But that is certainly near the top. Right? Now, here's what's interesting. They don't want it just to remain one third of the country. They want it to apply everywhere. Now, I want you to combine what Jim Jordan and Christy Knoem were just saying there. What 17,000 detainers declined. Okay, just think about that for a second. Combine that with the new threats from Democrats towards Christy Knoam and the people who work for those threats are what exactly? that when Democrats reach power once again, they will come for her and they will prosecute her. Not my words. Listen to it for yourself.
Starting point is 00:17:41 And I just want to say, this alone, this conduct alone is impeachable. And I want you to know that Americans will get accountability for the damage that you have done. The lawlessness of aspects of DHS, for killing innocent Americans, for terrorizing children, they will get accountability. And you're the Secretary of DHS for now, and you think you're immune from accountability.
Starting point is 00:18:12 But I promise you this, one day, he is not going to be president anymore. He is not going to be in charge. And when that day comes, we will still be here. And we will still be seeking accountability. And in hearings like this, we are going to continue to prove your guilt. I yield that.
Starting point is 00:18:30 So essentially they are admitting that they will weaponize the justice system once again, like they did under the Biden administration, to target the people that they disagreed with. That's exactly what they've been threatening. It's not just that congresswoman. There's plenty of them at this point. I mean, I think we all are aware of this. And it's just a double standard, and it's unfortunate because the American people deserve better. So having said all that, give me your thoughts in the comments section below to these updates today. I mean, first, what did you make of the actual War Powers Resolution Act failing?
Starting point is 00:19:00 in the Senate. Yes, there will be a vote in the House tomorrow. That will probably fail as well. But again, Democrats are seeking to handicap the president. Why is that? And then finally, Kristy Knoem, do you think she did a great job in the hearings today or not? Just give me your thoughts and everything you got in the comment section below. Okay. So also on Capitol Hill today was Tim Walls and his attorney general, Keith Allison. They were both essentially, in my opinion, humiliated. I mean, they were exposed. And what I mean by that is the line of questioning that showed how deep the corruption really went and how unwilling the governor is in regards to holding people accountable. So if you guys missed on that update and more, click on it because
Starting point is 00:19:39 it's coming up right now.
