Starting point is 00:00:00 So we have breaking news coming out of Maryland, particularly Governor Westmore is facing another scandal. The Potomac River has experienced a contamination due to a rupture in their pipeline, dumping 300 million gallons of raw sewage. He blames the president. The president blames him, but who really is at fault here? Well, that's exactly what we're going to answer in today's video, including what happened with Jasmine Crockett, where Democrats finally admit that they are racist. But first, like this video, share this video, leave a comment down below. Please do not forget to subscribe to the channel. let's see exactly what's happening with Governor Westmore and the president. Take a listen.
Starting point is 00:00:30 Yeah, this Potomac sewage spill is really turning more into a political back and forth. And we have this post here from President Trump on true social, really calling on the leaders in Maryland, in D.C., in Virginia, to really contact him immediately. He says, he says, they must get to work immediately. And if they can't do the job, he said, they have to call me and ask politely to get it fixed. But then we just heard moments ago from Maryland governor, Westmore, he's the Democratic governor there in the state, and he fired back at the president's post. I wanted to play a bit of what he had to say. I know that everybody has seen the president's tweet about the sewage pipe spill. It is riddled with insults, but it's also riddled with massive inaccuracies. The sewage pipe that he is talking about is on federal land. And over these past four weeks, the Trump Vance administration has failed to act.
Starting point is 00:01:30 He also added in his post on X there, along with that video, he said Maryland agencies and D.C. Water presented updates on the cleanup during a two-hour legislative hearing. Trump's EPA was invited. They refused to attend, he says. So this ongoing back and forth between the two as we wait to see just how this cleanup goes. Now, this is just the latest disaster that's happened under Governor Westmore, who I personally do not respect as a politician because he served in the military. They lied about his particular award that he said that he received when he never dated until 20 years later. And we're talking about the Bronze Star claim.
Starting point is 00:02:10 But I'll back off that. The whole merit of the story here is that D.C. water, which is really responsible here for this mess. As a matter of fact, just you guys are clear, this is one of the biggest spills in U.S. history. D.C. Water is at fault here, but it's happening under Governor Westmore's leadership. Now, I want to talk about D.C. Water. The guy running the show, here's what he's been focused on for the past few years. Take a listen to this. You know, when I arrived at D.C. Water, this was an organization that looked very similar to our industry. It was predominantly, you know, white male at the top.
Starting point is 00:02:49 This is a utility that's, you know, more than 70% people of color work at this utility. And I really believe, and I still believe, and it has been fantastic. The outcomes have been fantastic. But the people at the top, the executives, the chiefs in that C-suite, they should look like the employees that they serve and that they work with. You see, that type of thinking is a limiting belief and it's a bunch of bull. There is no reason in this world that I need someone to represent this company because they look like me. No, I need the person running the company to be competent and is going to get results. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:03:27 What type of results, DeVorey? Let's see here. Let's prevent one of the largest U.S. bills in history. I think that's much more important than the skin color of the CEO or the executive team. This is the nonsense that's been tolerated in corporate America for quite some time now. And the results are disastrous. when you put skin color ahead of getting results, which is why you're there to begin with,
Starting point is 00:03:51 this is exactly what you get. It's just fascinating. The few ways the federal government can help out here. One is to the EPA, and the other one is actually to clean it up, and that would be through FEMA. Obviously, the funding for FEMA is held up right now because Congress is fighting over Homeland Security budget.
Starting point is 00:04:06 Maybe this is an opportunity for President Trump to get Democrats on board to pay the bills and clean this up. Well, you know, it always, it generally takes a crisis to get Congress and the president or both parties that work together. So perhaps that could be the only thing that comes out of this crap that makes it right.
Starting point is 00:04:24 I don't like, my politics, in the way I approach politics, I hate when people allow pettiness to get in a way of advancing the public interest, and in particular when it comes to public health. Finally, they say that drinking water has not been affected by this, but they do say they have elevated levels,
Starting point is 00:04:41 I think, in some of the briefing that we got, that they're elevated levels of... 60 times. The bad bacteria is 60 times what... Elevents of E. coli and another thing I can't pronounce with a lot of... A lot of syllables. So hopefully the president and Governor Moore can find a meeting of the minds here and get this done. So this actually takes us to Caroline Levick because she held a press briefing earlier today.
Starting point is 00:05:05 And CBS News was asking her a thousand questions about this and essentially suggesting that the infrastructure there had been aging. And why hasn't the federal government done anything about it? Well, isn't it interesting? The president's only been in office for a year. So I'm assuming they're factoring in this happened under the Biden administration as well, right? No. Here's what Caroline Leibbitt had to say. Take a listen.
Starting point is 00:05:27 And officials have told CBS that some of that aging infrastructure is a concern that this particular pipe wasn't even of the most urgent concern. Do you know if the government is looking into which other pipes could be at that risk of collapsing? Well, the next step in this process is for any of the three local jurisdictions involve, whether that's the Commonwealth of Virginia, the state of Maryland and Governor Moore, or the District of Columbia to step forward and to ask the federal government for help, and to ask for the Stafford Act to be implemented here, so that the federal government can go and take control of this local infrastructure
Starting point is 00:06:06 that has been abandoned and neglected by Governor Moore in Maryland for far too long. In fact, it's no secret that Maryland's water and infrastructure have been in dire need of repair. Their infrastructure has received a nearly failing grade in the 2025 report card from the American Society of Civil Engineers. This is the same grade they've received five years earlier. There has been no improvement under the leadership of Governor Moore. He's clearly shown he's incapable of fixing this problem, which is why President Trump and the federal government are standing by to step in. Now, here's another individual that deserves our attention. We already went over the president.
Starting point is 00:06:42 Let's get into the chair of the D.C. Water Board, who actually is not an engineer for the record or a city planner. Has no experience in that. Her name is Dr. Morris Hughes. People are calling her a DEI bureaucrat, nonprofit educator, grant disperser of taxpayer money, and former assistant head of a boys charter school. She now heads up the largest raw sewage spill in U.S. history.
Starting point is 00:07:09 Here's a photo of her. You guys falling along here? I'm telling you, this company was more concerned with the way that they look versus the results they were getting for the local community. How else would something like this happened? This is their whole purpose in life. They should have seen this coming. They know what the risks are.
Starting point is 00:07:28 If they're doing the maintenance properly. Okay. All right. Let's go to an environmentalist. What she had to say, and this is interesting. So Jake Tapper pretty much says, hey, is this Trump's fault? Well, guess what? She refused to answer that question instead said that. Is Governor Moore correct that until recently the federal government was in charge of this?
Starting point is 00:07:51 So we've really been focused on water testing and understanding what the water quality is and focused on trying to help the public understand what the risks are. Okay. D.C. gets its drinking water from the Potomac. So should we here in D.C. be worried about drinking or bathing or brushing our teeth with the water coming out of our pipes? So right now, what we understand is that upstream of the spill is where drinking water is taken. So far, we have no reason to be concerned about our drinking water. What we're most concerned about is people who interact with the Potomac for recreational uses. So people who are taking boats out, people who, when the weather warms up, might want to physically get into the water.
Starting point is 00:08:36 So obviously, if you live in that area, avoid the water, right? and let's hope they're telling the truth and that people have not been contaminated in a fatal way, that is. And here's the other thing. Let's just go ahead and call it out. You think D.C. Water is really going to be held accountable. Will Congress do the right thing by issuing subpoenas to the executives? I wonder if they will do that.
Starting point is 00:08:57 And then I wonder if someone's going to lose their job. You see, the people who get the short end of the stick, it's the community. They will suffer, but not the corporation. All right. So we go to our next update, and this involves Jasmine Crockett. You know there is something wrong when conservatives are having to come out and defend what's happening to her. Who would have thought? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:17 At this point, I think it's clear and easy to say that Democrats are finally admitting their racism out loud. This comes as Stephen Colbert refused to do an interview with her in favor of James Tellerico. And then he lies to everybody by claiming it was President Trump who shut down the interview. Well, obviously, this is all been exposed. So aren't we start here with the summary? Take a listen. Yeah, Dana, it's a shame it's not sweeps right now because you can imagine the ratings that would be coming out of this. Stephen Colbert is a short-timer at CBS, but his decision to interview Democratic Senate candidate James Talleyico over the network concerns may have a long-term impact on both Texas and this year's midterm races. This all started Monday. Colbert says CBS bosses told him he could not broadcast an interview with Tala Rico over concerns about the FCC's equal time rule, which requires political candidates get equal time on broadcast TV.
Starting point is 00:10:07 talk shows have been exempted for years. CBS is denying that it ever issued any such orders. So for my homeowners out there, you need to listen to this. The FBI has been warning about a type of real estate fraud on the rise called title theft, and your equity is the target. What does that mean exactly? Well, criminals can forge your signature on a single document, use a fake notary stamp, and file it with your local county.
Starting point is 00:10:33 And just like that, they now own your home on the record. Using your home ownership, they can take out loans against your equity or even sell your property and you won't know it until foreclosure or collection notices start showing up in the mail. That's why our show is partnered with home title lock so you can protect your equity and find out today if you're already a victim. Use my promo code devori at home title lock.com and you'll get a free title history report and a free trial of their million dollar triple lock protection. Starting point is 00:11:26 Use promo code DeVore. This TV drama is boosting Tala Rico's campaign. It reports raising more than $2 million over the last 24 hours. Times. Time matters as early voting is underway in Texas. So this is the post that James put up this morning, breaking our campaign raised 2.5 million in 24 hours after this FCC banned our covert interview. So this is just a marketing play. This is exactly what Democrats are masters at doing. They use the outrage and some made-up story to fundraise. We've seen people like Pocahontas Warren do it. We've seen it from AOC to Kamala Harris.
Starting point is 00:12:05 you name it. Anytime there's a huge made-up scandal or hoax in the media that starts to get attention, I mean, literally not 24 hours later, they're sending out emails, hey, donate. Okay. Let's go to CNN's perspective on this. Brian Stelter, here's what you had to say. I was told by a source familiar with the matter tonight that, yes, ABC has been contacted by the FCC, that yes, there is an active investigation into the view. Now, I feel kind of funny saying those words, like an investigation into the view, right? It seems kind of ludicrous. But it is true. The FCC sent some letters. ABC has responded.
Starting point is 00:12:39 There is this back and forth. And I'm told that is what caused concern among CBS lawyers. That is what caused this chill at CBS. But the FCC has very little actual enforcement power. Yeah, they can make ABC pay a fine, but they're not going to revoke a station license. So ultimately, the FCC didn't do this. The FCC created a chill, but the CBS lawyers did this. And there is a term for what's happening in CBS.
Starting point is 00:12:59 It's called obeying in advance. Okay, so let's get this right. when you have CBS News and their lawyers coming out and contradicting Stephen Colbert. You have the FCC coming out and contradicting Stephen Colbert. And now you have Jasmine Crockett coming out and contradicting Stephen Colbert. I think we all can conclude here that Stephen Colbert is a stone cold liar. And he's made his choice. He wants James Telerico to be elected, not Jasmine Crockett.
Starting point is 00:13:29 So it begs to question here, are Democrats finally admitting how racist they really are? Why else would they be shunning her to the side? Okay. Well, here's what she had to say yesterday. And you could tell she was struggling through this. It's as if she was going to throw up having to side with the FCC and the Trump administration and contradict Stephen Colbert. But listen to it for yourself. He did receive information suggesting that the federal government did not shut down this segment. Number one. That is my. understanding that the federal government didn't shut this down and we will do an official statement once we get another official statement that we anticipate is wanting to be coming
Starting point is 00:14:13 from paramount all right so we will read what they say and then we'll go from there and it's our understanding that poverer either mr poverer or cd yes to sign if they just didn't want to it because of a fear that the FCC may say something to them and that there may have been advice to just have me on. And then they could clear the issue. It was my understanding that someone somewhere decided we just don't want to do that. And instead, we're going to just do it this way. Just go ahead and say what it is, Jasmine.
Starting point is 00:14:55 Just say what it is. It's racism. Come on. You say that the president's racist all day long. you and your girl Jennifer Welch believe that brown skin, MAGA supporters, are white nationalist. So what are you holding back for? Now she wants to be tactful. You notice that?
Starting point is 00:15:14 She has no ghetto words to spew at this point. She's not screeching or screaming about anything. None of that. What happened to that? I miss that, Jasmine Crockett. Why not keep that same energy for your own party who's clearly shunning you out? I don't know. So let's go to CJ Pearson.
Starting point is 00:15:33 I love his take on this. Here's what he had to say. You know, not just a Republican candidate, but even Jasmine Crockay, but it goes to show just how white liberals treat black Democrats in their party. But for some reason, they continue to follow them oh so loyally. It makes zero sense to me. But, you know, I thought Stephen Colbert was in the business of telling jokes, not telling lies, because that's exactly what he did when he falsely accused the FCC and chairman Brendan Carr of shutting down this interview. They did not. CBS's own lawyers did so.
Starting point is 00:15:59 He told a blatant lie in an attempt to drag traffic to his YouTube channel. And I think now the attention has to be on Barry White. She cannot allow this type of liar to be platformed on her network and just get off Scott Free for something as brazen as this. Yeah, CJ Pearson's spot on about it. I mean, this is clearly, in my opinion, they are pulling a Bernie Sanders on Jasmine Crockett. Again, as I started, the fact that I even have to defend her in this tells you there's a problem. But this is the party who says they're all about democracy. Doesn't seem like it to me.
Starting point is 00:16:36 All right. Let's go to our next update. This involves Mark Zuckerberg and META. He was in court today once again because his company META is being sued because a 17-year-old committed suicide and the mother believes it's META's fault, particularly Facebook. I want to start with what she had to say and then we'll go to Mark Zuckerberg and the trial. Take a listen. There was no 1,800 meta take this down or 1,800 TikTok take it down. Our children need to be in control of their digital landscape.
Starting point is 00:17:08 They do not need engagement pushed at them so these billionaires can quadruple profits and growth. And I want to speak to advertisers everywhere. You have blood on your hands. My daughter's darkest moments, you were buying access to her to promote beauty products and beautification things. And, you know, my daughter wasn't broken. This system is broken. Meta is broken. So clearly we understand her point of view on things.
Starting point is 00:17:34 The only thing I'd add to what she said, because I agree with a lot of things that she said, is that parenting is at fault as well. See, it's the parents who allow their kids to have cell phones. It's the parents who allow their kids to have social media accounts. That is a no-go. There's no reason for them have a cell phone or social media account before the age of 18. There's really no reason. We make up the reasons.
Starting point is 00:17:56 there's so many things that they could do. If they had to have a way to contact you immediately, they're safer ways. And will meta and social media companies be held legally responsible for this? Let me just ask you a question. If these social media companies are not held liable for the propaganda
Starting point is 00:18:13 and the censorship that they have executed over time, are they really going to be held accountable over this? Something tells me no. Let's go to Will Kane. Here's his interpretation of what's going on here. Watch. Is social media legally responsive? for fueling a teen mental health crisis. That's the central question in the unprecedented big tech
Starting point is 00:18:32 trial underway in California. The plaintiff, and now 20-year-old woman, identified by the initials, KGM, claims her early use of social media addicted her to the technology and exacerbated her depression and suicidal thoughts. Allegations that Meta says it strongly disagrees with. Today, we heard from Mark Zuckerberg himself on the stand. Now, it's the first time he's faced a jury on the issue, but it's not the first time he's faced bereaved parents. Today, the plaintiff's attorney pressed Zuckerberg on the age requirements for meta platforms, saying the plaintiff was nine years old when she signed up for Instagram.
Starting point is 00:19:11 Zuckerberg replied that 13 was always the age required in the terms when signing up, to which the attorney replied, you expect a nine-year-old to read the terms and conditions? Now, one of the questions that I think you have, I definitely have it. why is Mark Zuckerberg in a court room again? And particularly about this case. Well, according to some people, and I'm talking about CNN at this point, they believe he's only doing this because if they can win this, it will prevent more lawsuits from coming. Obviously, if they lose, which is a big gamble here, more lawsuits are going to come. But the lawyers believe they will have a much bigger chance of success versus settling, if that makes sense.
Starting point is 00:19:53 Watch this. 1,500 other of these cases that are coming to bear. If you know if they're found guilty and they have to pay up, what's now going to stop anyone else from bringing a case forward? That's the reason, by the way, that META and YouTube are trying to bring this in court and not settling like Snapchat and TikTok. For them, they think it's better to actually win a court case and stop others from trying to bring forth lawsuits
Starting point is 00:20:14 than to potentially settle and then have to settle every single case coming down the line. So this is a huge, huge, huge thing. And then to Scott Galloway's point about regulation, We haven't seen Mark Zuckerberg in Congress in a long time. So this is his first big public performance, not just for parents, but also for lawmakers who are watching this. If they don't like the way that he performs, what's stopping them from hauling him in and bringing forth big tech regulation to the floor again? See, the problem with social media companies is you can't sue them for defamation. You can't sue them for harassment.
Starting point is 00:20:44 Can't do any of that. You can't for a mainstream media company like CNN, which did just settle a defamation lawsuit, by the way. But meta, no. So Congress is the one who truly needs to step up. They could continue to sue Facebook or Instagram or any of these companies. Most of the time they won't be successful. The true measure of success, the true transformation will come if Congress steps up to the plate and does something that's actually in the best interest of America.
Starting point is 00:21:13 If only they could do that. Let's go to Clay Travis. Here's his take on it. Take a listen. This is such a big complicated issue, Harris. Let's start with the legal versus the moral versus. the moral versus the parental, because I think there's different angles that you can analyze this across the board. I'll start with the legal. Really, the question in this case is going to come down,
Starting point is 00:21:32 I think, to causation. And does the jury believe that these damages were caused by social media, or could they have been caused by other related issues in these cases? In other words, these kids, and like, I'm a father of three, I know you're a parent as well, don't just spend time on social media. There are other aspects to their life that impact in significant ways. Their mental health. So one, on the legal side, I think causation is going to play out. The second here is the moral impact, right? There is an argument. And it may be the case that 40 years from now everyone sees it, that social media is effectively the cigarettes of our age. All right. So why don't you guys give me your thoughts in the comments section below? Obviously, in my opinion, the currency regarding these social media platforms
Starting point is 00:22:19 It's our attention. And they've been making so much money. And as a result, in my opinion, the tradeoff is our mental health has gone in the trash. That's literally what has happened. Let me know if you guys see it that way. Also, what do you make up this back and forth between the president and Governor West Moore, aka Stolen Valor? But really, the people at fault is D.C. water.
Starting point is 00:22:39 Seems like they're more concerned with someone's skin color than they are with actually getting results. Let me know if you guys see it the same way. Just give me all your thoughts and everything you got in the comment section below. All right. let's go to our next story. An American citizen who participated in the Olympics failed to get gold. But here's the kicker. She represented communist China instead of the United States of America.
Starting point is 00:23:00 And much more has come out as a result of her decision. So if you guys missed out on that and more, I'll have to do this click on it because it's coming up right now.
