So yet again, we have Democrats doing things that are desperate and unhinged. And I'll back up my statement here because Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer just dropped their 10 demands for funding regarding DHS. And these demands are beyond delusional. We'll prove it to you, of course. But I just want to say this. Democrats literally are showing you in real time that they're willing to sabotage DHS, who is responsible for FEMA, Coast Guard, Secret Service, because they want to abolish ice. Lawmakers on Capitol Hill are racing to meet yet another government funding deadline. And it's already clear it will not be easy. Democratic leaders, Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries,

laid out to GOPN negotiators, a list of 10 reforms they want. at ICE in exchange for funding the Department of Homeland Security. Among those demands are banning masks for ICE agents, mandating judicial warrants to enter private property and updating use of forest standards. You see all the demands there on your screen. All right, let me just pause this really quickly and provide you an objective reaction to this, okay?

Adding safeguards and body cameras on this particular list is common sense. An example of safeguards, in my opinion, would be, hey, ICE officers, Border Patrol agents, Do not stop for agitators. Do not get out of your vehicle. Do not engage with them. Do not exchange words with them. Get in, get out, and complete your mission.

That's number one. The body cambers should have happened from day one. And good thing they've already announced that. Everything else, in my opinion, is a joke, especially number 10. Did you know that SWAT in any other federal agency operating or executing operations, they wear military uniforms? And then there's a patch that says which agency they are a part of. So that is a complete joke.

Let's go to Representative Shihi out of Montana. Here's what he had to say. There's a desire to keep these people here. They were brought in intentionally during the Biden administration. This was an intentional importation of millions of people to sanctuary cities. And now they want to make it impossible for us to deport them, despite the fact that that's what the American people have not only voted for the polls to this day, even in the wake of the Minneapolis mistakes, to this day the American people still support securing the border and deporting a legal immigrant.

So this effort basically stalls that, makes it impossible. to do widespread deportations, which the American people have said they want, and that's why it's going to be a non-starter. And it is true that under the Biden administration, there were record crossings that went down before Biden left office. But in terms of being intentional, I know that that is a theory among some on the right, but there's not evidence to show that they intentionally wanted the border to be open to people just, you know, coming here illegally.

I just want to follow up on your point. I don't think that's, Pam, I mean, I understand that's your position. the evidence of that. The facts don't really belie that because they provided apps to bring them in. They provided massive amounts of taxpayer funding to not just incentivize them to come, but then keep them in sanctuary cities. I mean, the policies from the federal government down to local government incentivized mass migration. And I don't know how you say that any other way than that was intentional. It was intentional acts from the federal government to state governments to city governments to encourage this mass migration. If it wasn't intentional, how come the Trump administration was able to close that border with a snap of a

finger in a matter of days, which is exactly what they did. It was a choice not to secure that border. Yeah, it's absolutely a choice. I know it. You know it. Everybody really knows it at this point. But more importantly, this DHS funding bill is being weaponized and hijacked by Democrats who want to make unrealistic demands of DHS essentially. And they're going to get some people hurt, as you guys know. And it sucks because what's happening is they're refusing to have the nuanced conversations here. And I don't really think they're nuanced. I just think their common sense. Sanctuary City policies contradict public safety. I'll give an example that. Let's go to Caroline Levitt, where she gives the media an example of what's really driving this

administration to do the right thing and what 77 million people voted for, which is to get people who are here unlawfully out of this country. Because if not, things like this happen. Take a listen. What is the White House doing to crack down on cases like this where illegal aliens or any commercial driver's licenses? Yes, this is another abhorrent example. of the border crisis over the past four years. And it again exemplifies why the administration must continue and will always continue to fully back and support ICE and border patrol and law enforcement

and their removal of illegal alien criminals from our country. For those who don't know, and all of you should report on it, four Americans were tragically killed and lost their lives this week, yet again, from an illegal alien, an individual who was paroled into the country by the Biden administration using the CBP-1, app, which they created like it was a magic pass for Disneyland. That's not how immigration in this country should work. And this illegal alien from Kyrgyzstan was traveling on an Indiana highway, and he failed

to break for a slowed semi-truck in front of him. He swerved into the lane, and he crashed into a van carrying 15 passengers, and four people were killed in that crash. This is another tragedy that could have been prevented, if not for the wide-open borders from the previous administration. That's why we now have a secure border. That's why this administration will continue to deport illegal aliens from our country. Thank you for being here.

See, that's my question for people out there who continue to push back against the Trump administration. Doesn't that American citizen who lost their life in that story that she just told, don't their lives matter? Shouldn't their lives get just as much attention as anybody else? This is happening on a weekly basis. American citizens being killed, whether it's intentional or unintentional, by illegal aliens who shouldn't be. in the country to begin with, especially when they had already been deported, they came back in,

maybe they were arrested, but released back into the community. How is that supporting public safety exactly? It isn't. Now, let's go to this poll from CNN because, as you guys know, there's a polar opposite to all of this, and that involves Christyneum and this entire mass deportation operation where Democrats overwhelmingly rejected, and so do independence. Look at this. a story. It has been a bad political situation for the President of the United States, and more than that, it is only getting worse. Just take a look at ICE's net approval rating. I mean, look at this, and unfortunately, immigration list. Look, it was already low in early January, right? It was minus 17 points. But look after the events of the last month. We are now talking about

minus 29 points, the worst it has ever been. You look among independence. It is even worse than that. we are talking about a negative 40, negative 40 net approval rating for ICE on enforcing immigration laws. No wonder the President of the United States is changing his tone. And that is because you just look here, you see the American people aren't just not with him. They are on a totally other planet. All right. That's with the president of his immigration policies. What about the people carrying it out, namely, or at least who were carrying it?

Yes. I'm not sure what he's doing now. Homeland Security Secretary Cristino. Yeah, there's a reason why John stuttered over that and couldn't figure. out exactly because the bottom line is this. Christy Noem has turned into an absolute political albatross. Look at this. Take a look here. Voters on Noam's job reforms. Disapproved in early January, 52%. And now won her fired. Fired is up to 58%. 58% want her removed. We're not just talking about the fact that her disapproval rating is through the roof. We're now talking about

nearly three and five Americans who believe that Christy Noem should be removed from her job as DHS secretary. wonder Tom Holman is in there. And that is because Christenheim is a big reason why this has turned into such a deepening political problem for the president of the United States. I actually don't think it's Christian Nome that has turned this into a political problem. I think what's happened is these people on the ground were very smart with what they did. You got to recognize it. Okay. What is the term from art of war? If you understand your enemy and you understand yourself,

you'll win a thousand battles. I think the problem here with Minneapolis and ICE is they didn't understand their enemy. I don't think they truly realize how deep and organized and committed these people are. So they baited them at every single turn, use their video footage, and two people getting shot, by the way, to push their narrative. I mean, we know the truth, but you can't deny how effective it's been. Here's what my Democrat colleagues really want. They want to abolish ICE, and some of them are more candid about that. And listen, that's fine that that's their position. They're totally wrong about it. And I'm not going to help them do it. And I think what they really want in this funding bill is they want to hold hostage the Coast Guard, FEMA, the Secret Service,

Let's go to this clip, Representative Ramirez, saying probably the most ignorant statement when it comes to DHS. But many of us are clear. But many of us are clear. The Department of Homeland Security is the greatest threat. to the homeland right now. And that's why we must claw back funding for DHS and ICE.

It is why we must pass my Melt Ice Act and end DHS detention and monitoring, disrupt immigration enforcement, and return taxpayer dollars back to the communities. We also must immediately start the proceedings to impeach Noam.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. She'll either quit, she'll get fired, or we will impeach her. So now they're talking about cutting funding. I thought they didn't like when that happens. Weren't they just complaining about Doge and cutting government agencies? These are federal workers, right?

They have families that they need to provide for and feed. You shouldn't want to cut those agencies, right? What about FEMA? Aren't they saving lives? If you cut DHS, wouldn't you be cutting funding for FEMA? And what about Coast Guard? Aren't they military personnel? I thought you care about our veterans.

Yeah, it's political theater. Okay, so now that you see what Democrats have been up to, what about Republicans? Because a certain percentage of them are now pushing amnesty. Yes, you heard me correctly. Mike Lawler was just on Will Kane show explaining why some illegal aliens who've been in the country for decades should actually have a path to citizenship,

and it should be through what they are proposing the Dignity Act. Here for yourself. Why is him important to? give those 25 million illegal immigrants a pathway to legal status? Again, you're not giving the 25 million. You're giving a segment of that that would fit into very specific criteria. Number one, they cannot have committed a crime in the United States or in their country of origin. Number two, they cannot collect government benefits, period.

Number three, they have to pay all back taxes and a fine for coming into this country. illegally and go through this process. What if they don't do any of that? Then they're deported. Then they're deported. Then they are deported. They're deported. You have to abide by the terms of this.

And part of this, and I fundamentally believe, if you gave people an option to come out of the shadows, to stop hiding and skirting a legal process, if you gave them a process forward that foregoes any path to citizenship, they would take it. As you guys can see here on the screen before we get into the reaction of it, some of the bullet points prevents illegal hiring and protects American jobs. Secondly, Dreamer protections grants legal status, paths a permanent residency. The Digny Program, seven-year legal status program allowing undocumented immigrants to live and work legally, update visa categories to align with 21st century economic needs. Now, what they're trying to do is take care of the people who are working in agriculture and high.

hospitality positions that may be here illegally. I mean, that's really what it is here in trying to give them this option of saying, hey, listen, we know you're here. Just go ahead and pay this fine. You know, you had to have been in the country for at least five years. You didn't commit a crime. And if you do all these things, then we'll give you a shot. And so this brings me to my point about this particular proposal.

At least this is a solution to the problems we've had for decades on end. We know that people on Capitol Hill, in my opinion, on both sides really don't want to solve this issue. Look how quickly the president closed the border. Okay. So it's not like we can't solve this, whether it's E-Verify, whether it's people who've been here for 30 years, working in agriculture or working in hospitality. There are solutions that are legitimate that we should be debating over. Not this debate about sanctuary city policies, which truly contradicts public safety. not debating whether or not we should deport criminal illegal aliens

or why the police officer should be calling ICE when they arrest one of these people. That is all ridiculous and noise. So hopefully there's a true debate on this and a hearing so the American people can get the facts on this.
