All right. So in breaking news, we have another month showing how tariffs have not been able to cause the inflation that Democrats, the experts, and the economists want you to believe. Also, John Brennan, who is being investigated by the Department of Justice, ran to MSDNC this morning to defend himself. We're going to get to these stories and more in this video and, of course, give you the bottom line. Let's work together. following the leadership of President Joe Biden, whose record continues to move things in an incredibly positive direction for the American people. Wages are up, inflation is down. The high cost of living in the United States of America, it's a challenge that we need to tackle. They promised that costs would go down on day one that they would address inflation.

Costs having gone down, they're going up. Inflation is going up, and a lot of it has to do with Trump's, reckless mismanagement of the economy. All right. So that clip from Hakeem Jeffrey sums up exactly what this first story is all about. And it's that Democrats, the experts, the economists, and mainstream media continues to get it wrong as pertains to President Trump's tariffs and the strategy he has deployed. They claim that his tariffs are going to send this country into a recession, but it just

hasn't happened. And this is why we do this show because I always want to show you what both sides are saying. Let you make up your own mind and do your own thinking. And that clip, I believe, will help you do so. Now, let's get more into the details about the inflation report that came out today that ended up debunking all of the economists again and proving President Trump right again. Fox Business obtained a new report from the Council of Economic Advisers. It finds prices on imported goods are falling since President Trump's second term

and are dropping faster than overall goods prices since the month of February. The report undercutting that narrative that the tariffs are. fueling inflation. It shows the opposite that imports may be helping cool prices. President Trump expanding that trade crackdown. Letters to 14 countries were sent out more are coming, they say, promising reciprocal tariffs unless trade deals are made by August 1st. So here are the new tariff rates on countries. They don't exceed 40 percent, by the way. Some countries even seeing lower rates since Liberation Day. South Korea is stepping up their trade talks overnight. They called for a renaissance partnership with the U.S. to clear up uncertainty.

Japan has said overnight they want to talk. The European Union avoided a Trump letter. But instead, they are negotiating to secure these exemptions from the U.S. baseline 10% levy. At the end of the day, results are going to tell the story. So it doesn't matter what your opinion is, or my opinion, or CNN or anybody of that matter, what their opinion is as it pertains to what President Trump is doing with terrorists, because the results show that tariffs have not negatively impacted the economy. In fact, it's had the opposite effect.

That's why I wanted to start off the video by showing you once again how what the media says versus what's actually happening are two different things. Now, here's Kevin Hassett and what he had to say. Take a look. You know, it's not just Democrats that were wrong about these predictions when it comes to tariffs and inflation. Truthfully, decades' worth of economic theory and philosophy indicated that would be the case. Why has President Trump and your leadership defied what we were taught in economics? Well, actually, I just would disagree with the premise of your question in the following

sense, that there are a lot of economists, Harvard-trained economist Steve Meyer and the CEO chair, who put out the report today, who understood all along that the tariff story that it's going to cause inflation is not true. And to be fair, I've been on Fox and other networks all the way since January 20th explaining why the tariffs are not going to cause inflation. And now it's in the data that they're not causing inflation. In fact, import prices are going down. So inflation right now is lower that it's been by every measure in more than four years. And tariff revenue is through the roof. And so things are working that way. And then let's talk about the economics of why. First, they're working that way because the foreign people who have been dumping products into our countries forever, into our country forever and ever, have been doing that regardless of other conditions because they're creating jobs, say, in China, by selling stuff to the U.S., and so when President Trump's intuition is we could put a tariff on them and they'll just eat the cost. And that's what we're seeing. But the second thing that we're seeing is so why is it the prices are even going down for imported goods? It's because President Trump has highlighted how important it is for all of us to believe in an America

First Agenda. And America First means that if you buy American, if you buy American products, then you're helping yourself by getting a better product, but you're also helping American communities for the people who make those products. And I totally agree. And we should create an environment that encourages small business owners, entrepreneurs, even larger companies to reinvest into America First companies. first, not Malaysia first, but there is one point that needs to be made here. Not every single industry can pull that off. Think about food, for example. We cannot grow every single thing we eat in this country, in this country. Okay. So I'm not naive to that. That's why I said certain industries, which brings me to number three, we definitely need to make sure that the AI, computer chip systems, technology for the future, the warehouses are built here, I think would be a phenomenal thing for our economy. Now, obviously at this point, everything checks the box. It's all common sense. But I got to show you what the opposite side is saying, and that is MSDNC. Here is there elaborate excuse on why tariffs have not caused inflation up to this point

and why it will two weeks from now. Take a look. When this was initially announced that, you know, the Independence Day stuff and the weeks after, the markets just were in nosedive mode. You know, they were up and down, up and down, up and down, lots of down. We've seen the markets not react as heavily or as dramatically in the past few weeks, other than what Henrietta was saying about the copper markets. Can you explain that? Justin, why am I looking at the stock market right now, the Dow and the Green? Yeah, so what happened on April 2 back on Liberation Day is Trump announced a set of tariffs as the policy.

And they were so shocking that people had baked in that he was missed a tariff, was tariff man, and it was worse than that. And that's why markets were terrified. What subsequently happened was he backed down on everything. And then we got this new word. People love this word, Tarko, the claim that Trump always chickens out. And when you talk to people on Wall Street about why they're so calm, they seem to be remarkably of the view that they're certain that Trump is, in fact, a taco,

that he will chicken out again. I think they're overstating it. And I would be building in a very, very real risk that he's, serious about it. And if that's true, then what's going to happen over the next few weeks through to August 1st is they're slowly going to wake up that these tariffs are coming. And if that's the case, then financial markets are going to react. But that's going to be much more of a slow motion train wreck than the sort of pirate techniques we saw last time. Okay, so let me get this right. On one hand, they say that President Trump is chickening out. Okay. But on the other hand, Scott Besson just announced how we earned $100 billion, and we're on pace to earn $300 billion by the end. end of this year from tariffs. So that means we're already collecting tariffs at a higher rate, which means the tariffs have already been in effect. So what do you mean he's chickening out? Now, a president should be flexible. This is a fluid situation. You're dealing with, what,

20, 30, 40, 50 countries? He cannot just be, it's only going to be this way. It's called a negotiation. But when you have Trump derangement syndrome, you'll never see it that way. And secondly, a study from the Council of Economic Advisors. You put it on Truth Social yesterday. It showed that your assessment that tariffs would slow inflation was accurate and that the prices of imported goods since February has fallen. That your assessment was right, the critics were wrong. Why do so-called experts continually misread your economic policy, sir?

Well, it's not the experts. It's the fake news and a combination of that and the Democrats. I saw an ad on television today on Fox, and it was some add about, oh, Trump has raised costs. It's the opposite. I actually put out a statement. I brought down costs. I brought down the cost of groceries.

I brought down the cost of energy, tremendously energy, tremendously groceries. If you remember, my first week in office, the press was screaming at me about the cost of eggs. There were four times higher than they were just a short time ago. That was caused by Biden in stupid policies, and we got that down. and by Easter, it was normalized, and now it's actually even at a lower price. All right, so the bottom line is what? As it pertains to the tariffs, inflation, the jobs report, the overall economy. Main Street media continues to get it wrong.

Experts continue to get it wrong. The economists continue to get it wrong to the point where they published a report saying verbatim that they've been wrong. And President Trump is right. And so, again, ladies and gentlemen, this is why you can't believe what you hear on the news. You got to do your own research. All right. So now let's go to our next story.

And this is concerning the former administration, Joe Biden. His doctor will subpoena into a deposition today on Capitol Hill. Before I give you my opinion about all this, I want you to first hear the story and how we got here. Take a look. Dr. O'Connor, did you take the fifth at all points? Did you take the fifth because you're trying to cover up what the president's state was? is he healthy now it was a speedy meeting where o'connor invoked the fifth o'connor's lawyers say he used the fifth amendment as a shield to honor confidence

between a patient and their doctor comer said o'connor would not answer if he was asked to lie about mr biden's health or if he was fit for duty this is unprecedented and i think that this adds more fuel to the fire that there was a cover up this was an opportunity to come clean. You know, he said, oh, the president was in great health. This is just a conspiracy theory. He was fine. But Democrats argue it was only appropriate for O'Connor to refuse to answer questions. Jasmine Crockett of Texas was the only Democrat in the room. They have decided that they wanted to play on people not fully understanding how our Constitution works. And right now, invoking your right, your Fifth Amendment right, that comes

out of the Constitution. So anyone who loves the Constitution believes in the Constitution, Constitution should be a-okay with this. Now, at some point, we'll get transcripts from the depositions. Anthony Bernal will appear one week from today for an interview. He was a top aide to former First Lady Jill Biden. Republicans believe she is key to understanding the health of the former president and his acuity. We need to get to the bottom of answering.

Did Joe Biden make the decisions or not? Was he sound of mind or was he not? And of course, that means you need to depose the people inside his inner circle. And who better to start off with than his doctor, Kevin O'Connor. And of course, he pled the fifth, which is the smart legal thing to do given the ramifications of this entire story. Now, before we go any further, here's a clip of Mr. O'Connor during his deposition pleading the fifth. Take a look. Confer with counsel when your counsel is speaking and when members or staff are speaking during the opposing sides' rounds of questions.

We will alternate back and forth until there are no more questions. Do you understand? probably say the same thing. I mean, you're talking about the former president of the United States. Nobody's trying to snitch on him like that. Let's just be real about it, especially if it was your job to keep him healthy and you didn't do that because there was some alleged cover-up, okay? And what's interesting, even after Fake Tapper published a book, even though we're going to go through these subpoenas and depositions, which will probably lead to nowhere. I think what's interesting is how aggressive Democrats came out and defended Joe Biden's mental acuity right after the debate. Here is a perfect example that I think will be entertaining. Take a look at this. Is President Biden up to the job? Absolutely. It was a rough night in which neither of these

candidates gave their best performance. I think he's the only Democrat who can beat Donald Trump. Joe Biden is grounded. He's grounded in his faith, in his family, and in our state. Excuse me. I'm sorry. This was a very difficult decision. And one that I think reflects the very best of who Joe Biden is. All right.

So number one, that's a complete joke. Okay, Democrats have been able to pretty much get away with lying about President Biden's mental acuity and staying in office. I mean, on principle alone, they should be. voted out. They should lose their seats. But I know that's not going to happen because, honestly, accountability is lacking in D.C. And it's not just Democrats we should be concerned with. It's Republicans who are heading up this investigation, like the chairman, James Comer, who subpoenaed these individuals. He went out to Fox News tonight, and I'm still not confident this

is going to go anywhere. Take a look. Let me ask you what the next step is, Mr. Comer. Do you, are you able to subpoena the medical reports, his notes. If he refuses to testify, I mean, can you bring him in again? What is the next step? Well, the next step is we're going to bring in the inner circle. Again, this is an investigation. But with O'Connor specifically, because they drag this out. You know how they drag it out. I mean, is he just going to disappear? Well, we're going to try to get every bit of information we have. What we're finding in the Biden administration is they didn't leave very many records behind when they walked out that door. There are so many instances of documents that we've been waiting to request, and now the Trump administration's in office, and they can't find the records.

But we're going to try to get those medical records. We're going to try to do everything we can. We're going to use every tool that we have to try to get that information. All right. Now, doesn't that sound familiar? I don't know. Epstein files. The FBI has them when we get it.

into office, we're going to expose it all. And literally, we're hearing the same thing with Biden records. They're there. But now that we're in office, we can't find them. I mean, either one or two things are true. Number one, they did destroy the files. And I'm more likely to believe that. Or number two, they exist, but it's a uniparty. Are they really going to hold people accountable? Absolutely not. And part of me believes that if they go down this road and do this. They may be on the receiving end of this when there's a Democrat president. And I think that is what makes people so hesitant, which is why I'm more likely to believe there's a Uniparty, which makes me more likely to believe that accountability probably will never happen as pertains to

Joe Biden. And on that same point of lacking accountability, you know that the DOJ has launched investigation against James Comey and John Brennan. Well, what's interesting is John Brennan wasted no time running to MSDNC to make his case and call this entire thing a hoax. Here he is on MSDNC earlier this morning. Take a look. So, again, I think that SSI report, the Mueller investigation, the Durham investigation and review, all of this, I think, again, validates what happened in terms of Russian interference, the conclusions of that assessment that Russia tried to interfere to enhance Donald Trump's

prospects in that election, to damage Hillary Clinton, and to undermine Hillary Clinton, and to to mind, the integrity of our election process, those have really stood up and have been validated and supported by subsequent reviews, very thorough reviews. So again, this is something that I think is made up out of, unfortunately, a whole cloth, and they're just trying to see what, you know, they're able to get to stick to the media wall and how some of these outlets are now taking this, and especially John Ratcliffe's comments that he had on X and the other things, it's so inconsistent with the CIA note. He's making these allegations that just bear have no evidentiary basis whatsoever. And again, I think it's beneath the dignity of a CIA director to do

things like that. Yeah. So CIA director, even the current one, these people live and they'll never tell you the truth. That's number one. Number two, John Brennan, when Hillary Clinton had classified emails on her personal computer in her personal home, there's no whole. there. That is actual fact. When the DNC got slapped with a penalty for lying about the election interference and making up fake documents, that's also not a hoax. That is a fact. Because again, I'm under the assumption that this is going to go nowhere. This is another dog and pony show. This sounds good to people who support Trump, no question. But again, the credibility as far as the Department of Justice holding political leaders.

appointed officials from the former administration they have yet to deliver on anything. And the only thing that's been done as far as the promises that were made in regards to the former administration is the people that President Trump issued a pardon for. Okay, then quickly on the charges, Matt.

All we know right now is that Brennan potentially give face charges, essentially for perjury in front of Congress. We don't know much about what the charges would be for Comey. What do you make about what kind of accountability and that is a thing that the American public has become very suspicious and skeptical of the ability to actually ever achieve accountability.

But what could be expected, Matt? So I was on the phone all morning about this. You're right. The charges would probably be perjury and conspiracy. Probably it might possibly even conspiracy to commit perjury with Brennan. Those cases seem relatively cut and dry. He testified repeatedly that the steel material was not even included in that initial intelligence community assessment. He's under oath saying that over and over again, and that completely contradicts the evidence

and also contradicts his own written statements, apparently, according to Ratcliffe. With Comey, it's going to come down to, he testified in 2020 that there was no steel material in the body of the intelligence community assessment, that it was only in this little classified annex. But Ratcliffe says he can prove that that's not true, too. So it seems like those are the two cases that it would come down to perjury on those two points. Yeah, so clearly there's meat on the bone as it pertains to John Brennan. And I hope he has held accountable. Let me just make sure I'm clear.

I want the Department of Justice to be successful in prosecuting and convicting and convicting these people from the former administration that clearly overstepped their authority and in some cases committed crimes. I absolutely am all for that. But do I believe that will happen? No, they're going to have to show me instead of just telling us. Okay. Now, here's the president what he had to say in reaction to this investigation. Take a look. Thank you, President Trump. James Comey and John Brennan, now under criminal investigation related to the Trump Russia probe. Do you want to see these two guys behind bars? Well, I know nothing about it other than what I read today, but I will tell you, I think they're very dishonest people.

I think they're crooked as hell. And maybe they have to pay a price for that. I believe they are truly bad people and dishonest people. So whatever happens happens. All right.
