Okay, so once again, the Supreme Court has handed Trump a major win.
This is in regards to the Department of Education and his ability to downsize the workforce.
And also, there's a big investment being made into AI in Pennsylvania.
We're going to take a look at both of these stories and more in this video, show you what both sides are saying, and then give you the bottom line.
This morning, the Trump administration can celebrate another key ruling from the U.S. Supreme Court.
Justices have ruled that the president can proceed with his plan to dismantle the U.S. Department
of Education with mass layoffs.
About 1,400 employees were initially fired back in April before a lower court stepped in and paused the layoffs.
Today, those employees are being told they'll be let go in just two weeks on August 1st.
Now, according to Democrats, they're claiming that this move by the Supreme Court is once again succumbing to President Trump's executive power that he is continuing.
to exceed, and that by laying off federal employees who work in the Department of Education,
that the local teachers and districts won't be able to service the students properly.
That is their pushback with this.
However, I'm not really inclined to believe that because even though the number of employees
working in the Department of Education has increased, the quality of education leading to better
outcomes for students, especially if we look at test scores, has decreased. Now, here is what
Sotomayor, one of the justices, the liberal, had to say in her dissent. Take a look.
Justice Sotomayor wrote, the majority is either willfully blind to the implications of its
ruling or naive. But either way, the threat to our Constitution's separation of powers is
great. Now, if you were to pay attention to the fringes, meaning these are people who clearly
have an extreme case of Trump derangement syndrome, they believe in radical policies.
They would say that President Trump is literally deleting the Department of Education.
But allow me to give you the facts, as usual.
President Trump does not have the authority to delete the Department of Education.
What he does have is the authority to reduce the workforce within the Department of Education
and he has the authority to order the Secretary of the Department of Education, also known as Linda McMahon,
to restructure the Department of Education to take on new roles.
or to delete existing ones.
So he's not deleting the Department of Education on paper.
He can't do that, but he can restructure.
Now, here's what another Democrat had to say in response.
Take a look.
I absolutely believe that this administration, and unfortunately,
this court decision was meant to demoralize not just me,
but my members in our union.
But what is important to note is that this is not a final decision.
This is just injunctive relief.
And certainly we have the opportunity to go back,
to lower courts and get the relief.
And, you know, that not only we're looking forward to be reinstated, but this American,
the American public and our American students need.
Again, the states are saying, because we are not at work, they are not able to serve
their citizens.
And if we're not listening to the states about what their needs are, you know, what are we
doing?
Okay.
Now, before we get to what President Trump had to say, let me.
me just give this message to you guys from today's sponsor chapter. As you know, if you are
involved in getting Medicare or you're saving up to get Medicare because you're paying into the
system, the whole process can be confusing and nearly nerve-wrecking, and I actually believe it's
on purpose. It is known that the Department of Justice, thanks to Trump, is now investigating
the top three brokers in the nation for doing what exactly? Getting kickbacks in order to steer
people like you into the wrong Medicare Advantage plans. This is why we partner with
Chapton, why I recommend you give them a call absolutely free because they're independent,
they're unbiased, and they have a record of saving people up to $1,100 a year. And their whole
purpose in life is to help you get the plan that truly fits your need. So give them a call
323, 431, 5200. Again, this call can save you thousands of dollars. We had a big win with the
Supreme Court on the Department of Education.
And we want, as you know, we want to bring education back to the
states, take the federal government out of it.
A little tiny bit of supervision, but very little, almost
nothing, like to make sure they speak English.
That's about all we need.
Mr. President, what do you tell a student who might be in a
struggling, failing school right now?
Well, we have school choice, and we're getting school
choice approved all over the country.
We just got it done in Texas, and school choice is the answer.
Now, obviously, there are pros and cons when it comes to anything, especially school
choice, but the other way has not worked, okay?
That has become abundantly clear.
We know exactly what these children are being exposed to versus 20 years ago.
It's like night and day.
And so the quality of education is declining.
No question about it.
I don't see how they can even defend it.
So what should we do?
What is the pathway forward?
I think it's to put more responsibility in the hands of the parents, in the hands of
the local community, in the local city.
make them more engaged and responsible for the education of these children, not the federal government.
Well, you should not be depending on the federal government to teach your kids anything.
We see how the federal government operates, and it's not good.
Now, here's how Fox News sees this issue.
Take a look.
Here's what President Trump wrote on Truth Social.
The federal government has been running our education system into the ground,
but we are going to turn it all around by giving the power back to the people.
America's students will be the best, brightest, and most highly educated anywhere in the world.
The National Education Association claims Americans are unhappy about the U.S. Supreme Court ruling and put out this statement.
Take a look. Do they speak for you? I don't know. Pay attention.
America's educators and parents won't be silent as Donald Trump, with the support of the MAGA Supreme Court,
strips our students, our families, our communities of protections and funding that Congress has mandated.
But a recent Gallup poll says, no, here are the facts.
It found that just 24% of Americans are satisfied with the state of American public education.
73% are not.
All right, I'm sure you're not surprised by that number.
73% of Americans are dissatisfied with our education system.
I mean, the results have been showing us time and time again that it's not getting any better.
So I'd rather try something new than to continue to do the same thing over and over and over.
again and get the same negative result. We also call that what? Insanity. Now, here is Linda McMahon
and her reaction to the Supreme Court's ruling. Indeed, I was very pleased with the ruling
from the Supreme Court because what we did when we first came in was to take a look at the,
take a look at the department, to take a look at what could have been, you know, just too
heavy in personnel. We weren't just trying to make radical cuts just to shrink the
of the department. We viewed it with exactly the right eye as I think an executive coming
into a company to see what functions are needed, how many people we needed to do that, et cetera.
So we're very careful in planning how those cuts were made. And I was very pleased that
the Supreme Court did give us the ability to continue to do that and to operate the agency
efficiently and to get all the work done that we needed to get done to meet all of our
statutory requirements. And that's exactly what we're doing. And we were proving that we could do
it at the time when we got the order that we couldn't proceed. So we're very happy to now be
able to do that work and to do it well. Listen, no matter what Linda McMahon says or President
Trump or anybody for that matter on both sides of the political spectrum, the only thing that you can
judge them based on are the results. So we'll see if this method of doing things is going to give
our children the best education possible that will lead to better outcomes, especially when
we're talking test scores, because we used to be number one when the Department of Education
was formed.
And now we're down to 36 at the last report that I've seen.
So that is the bottom line here to this particular story.
Now, let's go to some great news that happened today in Pennsylvania.
President Trump hosted an event that was all about the investments taking place within AI and
wanting Pennsylvania to be the center of all of that for the future.
Take a look.
President Donald Trump will be on campus later today for the first ever Pennsylvania
Energy and Innovation Summit.
We know he's supposed to arrive around 2.30 this afternoon, along with multiple other people
who are notable.
We're talking about several cabinet members as well as Pennsylvania governor, Josh Shapiro,
and world leaders in energy at AI for more than 60 companies around the world.
Now, this event aims to highlight Pennsylvania's potential to lead the art of
artificial intelligence revolution. So ahead of today's summit, Republican Senator
Dave McCormick unveiled a $70 billion investment in AI and energy across Pennsylvania.
This investment will include construction of data centers, which require a great deal of energy
to power artificial intelligence. One project is set to target Al-Aquipa, and the president of
RIDC says this investment will bring jobs, boost the economy, and even more.
Now, this story is the writing on the wall as far as where we are going.
going as a country over the next 20 to 30 years. And if you have a young adult in your family,
your son, your grandson or granddaughter, whatever, they're in their 20s, you probably should
be encouraging them to do what? Develop skills with AI. Because skills around AI can be applied to any
industry out there. So if they do want to own that home in the future, they want to be able to
provide for a family, right? They want to live a particular lifestyle. You have to have the skills
that solves an urgent problem that pays you enough money to live the life you want to live.
I think you guys are getting in, okay?
Now, I'm sure I have some young people watching, but the point remains we should be encouraging
our young adults to develop these skills, because it's a different economy, it's a different
world than 50 years ago.
That's one of my main takeaways from this announcement.
I mean, I can't tell you, the writing is on the wall.
Now, let's hear a little bit more from David Sacks and his opinion about all this.
Take a look.
What is the most important message that you want to get across?
as the AIs are at this summit?
Well, I think the most important thing
is that the United States win the AI race.
Artificial intelligence is a profound
and transformative technology.
It's going to have huge economic ramifications.
It's also going to have military ramifications.
We want the United States to win this race.
We want it to be the most powerful country in AI.
And if we don't, if we lose the AI race to save China,
that it could shift the balance of power in the world in a very unfavorable way for our country.
So we have to win the AI race.
And President Trump is coming to Pennsylvania here, which is a huge energy-producing state,
to announce $70 billion of new investments in AI infrastructure.
These new AI data centers are very power-hungry.
They need a lot of electricity.
Natural gas is the best way of powering them.
And so these investments are going to upgrade the grid.
They're going to allow for more power generation.
And they're going to help us win this AI race.
Let's go a little deeper again.
What other industries will support this AI boom?
We're talking construction, meaning trades.
We're talking still software, right?
We're still talking technology.
I mean, there are so many other alternative skills and alternative industries that make
sure that we can win this AI race.
Now, I don't know all of them in particular, but that's what I would be thinking about
if I was a young adult and I'm looking to have a better future and make enough money,
whatever it is.
you have to be kind of looking ahead and seeing where we're going as a country as far as jobs
are concerned. So I think once again, this is a huge announcement. Now, politically, this is exactly
what President Trump promised to do. There's no secret there. And quite frankly, we need to be
the ones at the top. We need to be ahead because if we're not, AI will be used against our country.
In some cases, there will be people out there trying to use it in a negative way to undermine the
United States of America. Now here's what President Trump said at this summit. Take a look.
We're here today because we believe that America's destiny is to dominate every industry and be
the first in every technology. And that includes being the world's number one superpower and
artificial intelligence. And we are way ahead of China. I have to say we're way ahead of China.
And the plants are starting up, the construction is starting up. This afternoon, 20 leading
technology and energy companies are announcing more than $92 billion.
of investments in Pennsylvania, and if you want, we could probably get them up. Let's talk to
them right. But this is a really triumphant day for the people of the Commonwealth and for the
United States of America. We're doing things that nobody ever thought possible.
Okay, so there's no question that President Trump has been able to secure a record amount of
investments into this country, whether it is for AI or chip manufacturing, whatever the case
might be, the numbers speak for themselves. So my only thing as I'm doing this show every day is I know
I have people who are independents who watch, maybe even some Democrats. My question for
independents or Democrats, or people who just hate Trump in general, when will you give the man
some credit for doing some things that are actually positive for our economy, for our country,
like AI? I think this is a really good thing and it's going to open up more jobs.
people think AI equals no jobs or people's jobs are going to be deleted. No, you got to be seeing the
future for what it is. The humans will still need to interact with AI. AI will still need humans.
I mean, that's just the reality right now. All right, let's move to our next story. And this is about
Jeffrey Epstein. I know. The story no one wants to hear about it anymore, I guess. And the bottom line for
me personally, I don't want to hear anything about Jeffrey Epstein from the administration,
unless they have evidence that we've never seen before. I think that's a
great point to start with if they want credibility on this issue. That's number one. And
number two, what's more disturbing is that the administration has clearly either threatened
or nicely encouraged conservative media and people who are talking on this to pipe down
and move on. Okay. And I don't really like the government telling us what to do and what to
think and what to say. That's just my own personal opinion up front. But let's start here.
Mr. President, Mr. President, your daughter-in-law said that
that there should be transparency in the Epstein case.
Do you agree with her, sir?
The Attorney General's handled that very well.
She's really done a very good job,
and I think that when you look at it,
you'll understand that.
I would like to see that also,
but I think the Attorney General,
the credibility is very important,
and you want credible evidence for something like that,
and I think the Attorney General's handled it very well.
How many more should be?
review on the DOJ and FBI's review, the findings of that review.
The Attorney General briefed you on that.
On what?
On the DOJ and FBI review.
On what subject?
On Epstein.
Of the review of the files.
Attorney General Pam Bondy.
A very quick briefing.
Did she tell you, what did she tell you about the review?
And specifically, did she tell you at all that your name appeared in the file?
No, no.
She's given us just a very quick briefing.
And in terms of the credibility of the different things that they've seen,
things that they've seen. And I would say that, you know, these files were made up by Comey,
they were made up by Obama, they were made up by the Biden, you know, and we went through years of
that with the Russia, Russia, Russia, Russia, hoax, with all of the different things that we had
to go through. We've gone through years of it. But she's handled it very well, and it's going to be
up to her. Whatever she thinks is credible, she should release. All right. So that was the president,
once again doubling down on his support for Pam Bondy saying she's doing a tremendous
job listen just to be fair if we subtract the Jeffrey Epstein debacle and the media
appearances on Fox News then I would probably agree that she's been doing a good job the problem
once again is you cannot over promise and under deliver to conservatives that just is not going to
happen and then when you tell us don't talk about it don't ask questions okay pipe down
then you're really going to have a problem right and that's my whole
beef with this entire situation. Jeffrey Epstein is not going to pay anybody's bills. I get it.
It's more about our ability to ask questions, which we should be allowed to do. Now, I actually
have this on the screen because I believe for some reason it makes me ponder. Why is President Trump
aggressively defending Pam Bondi? Why is that? I think it's two things. Number one,
she clearly is loyal. But number two, think about what happened to him in his first administration.
I'm going to count it for you. He had one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine different attorney generals that served under him. Nine. I mean, that's craziness. I think he only wants to stick with one moving forward. So Pan Biden is going to have to really do something more egregious than this whole Jeffrey Epstein debacle for him to say, hey, you know what? I got to let you go.
Okay. And so in this next clip is the Attorney General today during a press conference where they asked her about this whole beef, allegedly, between her and Dan Bongino. Take a look.
Is there disruption the leadership of DOJ and the FBI with her relationship with Dan Bongino that is affecting the operation?
No, I'm not going to talk about personnel matters. No, I was with Director Patel all morning, and we are committed to keeping America safe, making America safe, working with our incredible part.
partners that DEA, FBI, ATF, U.S. Marshals to do everything we can to make America safe.
And that's what we're focused on.
And today we're focused on protecting our kids.
And I would ask all of you, when you leave, go look at that wall outside, right outside
this room of all the fentanyl deaths, all the faces of fentanyl that you have done an amazing
job putting up.
Again, let's be fair.
The points that she is making is absolutely true.
it's also true that the American people want answers surrounding Jeffrey Epstein.
I know it won't pay the bills, but that does not mean people don't want answers.
To deny the fact that people want answers would be what we always said Democrats were doing
for the past four years, which is gas lighting.
And that's not what President Trump or his administration should engage in.
I think the work that they've been doing with fentanyl and finding these child traffickers
and pedophiles, it's been good, no question.
And there needs to be more.
but people still want answers.
Now, as a result of all of this,
you know who's trying to capitalize on it.
It's Democrats.
And everybody is laughing at Democrats
because, hey, you guys were in charge
over the past four years
and you didn't say anything
about Jeffrey Epstein.
The American people deserve to know the truth.
What, if anything,
is the Trump administration
and the Department of Justice hiding?
All right.
Then Van Hollen,
appropriations amendment.
The provision clause of ban.
Wait, wait, wait, wait.
Before you wait, wait.
Wait, before you get to anybody else, come back to me.
I want to address the minority leader in the House.
This is how disingenuous that comment was,
and this is what infuriates me about these people.
Jeffries knew the Biden administration had exactly the same thing
the Trump administration has on Epstein.
Exactly.
Because Epstein was convicted during the Biden administrations.
Not one time.
Did Hakeem Jeffrey call for any exposition of what the Biden Justice Department knew?
Not once.
So this guy's a top phony, okay?
He's a political player.
He doesn't care about the truth.
Yeah, so Bill O'Reilly is spot on about this.
At the end of the day, Democrats are going to try to do whatever they can to score political points.
We know this.
That's number one.
Number two, it is true that the American people deserve transparency.
It is true that people have a right to get answers out of this entire.
situation. We have more questions and answers, and we really shouldn't given what happened.
I don't understand why they just don't release everything at this point. And we can go around
and around and say all this until we're blue in the face. But the bottom line is President
Trump, out of all issues, I think this is the one that he struggled with the most. Maybe he doesn't
care about the backlash. Maybe that's not really any of his concern. We'll see because his actions and
decision making will show us. But there's no question that the attorney general, Pam Bondi,
definitely damaged some level of trust as it pertains to Department of Justice just by the way she's
handled this situation. It's just day one. No one asked her to go out there and overpromise.
She made a conscious decision to do that. Today, President Trump's saying, well, if the
Attorney General wants to release more, she can. So what's the strategy here? I'm not really sure
that they have a strategy beyond waiting this out. I mean, I've talked to a number of people around
President Trump, many of them believe, and this is White House and officials in the administration,
that this will blow over. But if you talk to some more of the hardcore MAGA loyalists, not
necessarily in the administration, but some of the most vocal critics of Pam Bondies,
they are saying they're not giving up on this. What you really saw after these remarks that
President Trump made was them doubling down on that one tiny part of his remarks, which said
that if Pam Bondi, the Attorney General, views it as credible, then she should release that
information. That is not something that we had been hearing from the White House. It's not something
that we had been hearing from around the administration. In fact, what we had been hearing was
more in line with what the attorney general said that her memo speaks for itself. But now he has
once again opened this door to potentially releasing new information. What I saw today and what
I received calls on from a number of these loyalists was, did you see what he said? Pam Bondi
should release more information. It is unclear that that is what President Trump actually meant,
certainly opened up a new door here with this after he spent days saying the case was closed.
Why are people even asking about Epstein? You know people are now going to double down and call
for the Attorney General to start releasing this based on just that tiny bit of what you said.
Okay. So at this point, I know everybody's pretty annoyed at this story. Some of you guys don't
even want me talking about it anymore. But by the way, this is my show and I'm going to talk about
everything as much as I practically can. And the big update in regards to this story,
that the president clearly has changed his tune a little bit, as you heard in him answering that
question, and he's putting it on Pam Bondi. And we know Pam Bondi. She's probably not going to
release anything at this point, given everything that happened. And I'm at the point where
personally, don't release anything unless it's something we've never seen before. Don't talk
about what you're going to do. Just do it. Right. I mean, that's a life lesson here. And it just
goes to show you, it doesn't matter how successful, powerful, or what your career may be, you're still
human being who can sometimes get caught up in this overpromising under delivering mentality.
And that's exactly what happened here. So hopefully, if they do release something, that is something
we've never seen before. And if they don't, they just don't talk about it anymore. I think everybody
would be served best if that is the approach moving forward. And so now it's a great time to hear
from you guys in the comments section below to these stories today. Let's not even focus on Jeffrey
Epstein. Let's just focus on the two big ones, which was the Supreme Court. One,
Once again, ruling in favor of President Trump.
He does have the authority to downsize the federal employee workforce that includes the Department
of Education, but Democrats believe this is an assault on educators and children.
Let me know what you guys think about that.
And then secondly, this entire investment into AI in Pennsylvania, as I said, just personally
here and not politically, if you do have young adults in your life that you know personally
encourage them to develop skills with AI, it will be so beneficial.
for them in the future. Just giving you guys his thoughts and everything in the comments section below.
