Yeah, so we have tragic news that came in overnight.
One state lawmaker was murdered last night in a political-motivated attack, and another one is still in the hospital recovering.
Also, no King's protests have started all across the country, but the rhetoric is going to leave you stunned.
And finally, President Trump has drawn backlash from conservatives for his new stance on immigration.
Two Minnesota lawmakers and their spouses were shot overnight at their homes in what officials are calling a politically motivated attack.
One of the lawmakers, State Representative Melissa Hortman, was killed, and so was her husband.
Hortman was the top House Democratic leader in the state legislature and a former Minnesota House Speaker.
state senator john hoffman and his wife were also shot in their homes in their home they are
in the hospital after undergoing surgery officials say they're optimistic that they will survive
meanwhile a massive manhunt is underway for the suspect who authorities say targeted the victims at
their homes impersonating a police officer yeah this is just tragic news on a saturday morning nobody
wants to wake up and here's something like this take place especially when our political
so toxic right now. It's just unfortunate news. And the president did put this up about an hour ago.
I've been briefed on the terrible shooting that took place in Minnesota, which appears to be a targeted
attack against state lawmakers. Our attorney general, Pam Boni, and the FBI are investigating the
situation, and they will be prosecuting anyone involved to the fullest extent of the law.
Such horrific violence would not be tolerated in the United States of America. God bless the great
people of Minnesota, a truly great place. Now, the governor, Tim Wallace, has already
call this a politically motivated attack. Now, I want you guys to listen to the details in this
next clip because it really shows you how chilling this tragedy is. Take a listen.
All of this started to unfold around two in the morning overnight. When police say that they
got a call about a shooting at a residence at Minnesota State Senator John Hoffman's home,
they entered and they found both his wife and State Senator Hoffman were shot and injured.
Both of them, as you mentioned, went into surgery and they are expected to survive.
As this investigation was unfolding, deputies at the scene decided to preemptively send officers over about five miles away to the House of Minnesota State Representative Melissa Hortman.
It's when officers arrived at that home that they discovered the suspect who was dressed and impersonating a police officer, had a big SUV with lights.
and when they encountered the suspect, they engaged in a shootout.
That suspect eventually went inside the home and was able to escape.
When officers were able to get inside that residence, that's when they found
State Representative Melissa Hortman and her husband had been killed.
Now, I'm sure the question you want answered is, who is this person?
Why would he do something like this?
Where is he right now?
Because he still is on foot.
What is Minnesota doing about all this as far as protecting the people
in that local area.
Well, a couple of the answers I have for you is, number one, yes, he still is on foot,
but number two, they've already issued a shelter-in-place order for that area.
Number three, they canceled the no-king's protest that was scheduled to happen today,
where Tim Walls was going to speak.
And so those are the things they've done at this point.
Now, let's get back to what they found in his vehicle.
Colonel Christina Bogoyevich with the Minnesota State Patrol,
given the targeted shootings of state lawmakers that happened overnight,
we are asking the public to not attend today's planned demonstrations across Minnesota
out of an abundance of caution.
We don't have any direct links.
However, there were some flyers that said no-kings within the suspect vehicle.
And as we know, the planned events throughout the state of Minnesota today is a no-kings event.
And so the reference materials that were inside of the vehicle that we saw,
We have no understanding that any of the No King's events would be targeted, but we also find it of interest to the public that these would be in there, and we want to alert everybody until we do that.
Because this is such an active investigation with information not knowing right now, we feel it's an obligation to all of you and the public across the state of Minnesota to alert you of it, and that's why the colonel made the notation of recommending people don't go today.
but the individuals are not in custody yet, and so we want to make sure as that very active
manhunt is underway and continues, that we make sure that we're sharing that, and that's
part of why we're making the recommendation.
Now, let's get to who the alleged shooter is, according to Julio Rojas, who is a national
correspondent for The Blaze.
He put this post up just about an hour ago, to be exact.
I'm told by a police source in Minnesota, the suspect in the shootings of the Minnesota
to state lawmakers is Vance Luther Bolter.
It appears it is the same Bolter who was appointed to the governor's workforce development
board in 2019 by Governor Tim Walz.
He appointed to the Governor's Workforce Development Council in 2016 by then Governor Mark Dayton.
Now, because of this information, there's no question that people on the right are going to
start blaming Governor Tim Walz for this, and I think that is a misstep.
There's no question there is a connection, but that doesn't mean the connection means
he's directly responsible for the murder of that state lawmaker.
But I will say this.
There's no question that the political rhetoric is definitely behind all this.
And it's also been reported that police found a hit list in the suspect's car with nearly
seven different.
And it's also being reported that police found a hitless in the suspect's car with nearly
70 different targets, including pro-lifers.
Also, what was in the car was a Father's Day car to address to the suspect in a bad
full of ammunition and a manifesto.
I mean, this is just ludicrous.
The suspect allegedly had a hit list of other Democratic leaders.
Officials said at the press conference earlier, Morgan, that they had found a list inside of
that car that he had at one of the lawmakers' homes.
Remember, they said that it looked like a police cruiser with lights flashing, and now
sources are telling us a bit more about exactly who was on that list that was found in
the car.
They're saying that it included multiple democratic lawmakers, both at the same.
state and the federal level that included Governor Tim Walls, who we heard speaking earlier
today. It includes the Democratic State Attorney General Keith Ellison. It also includes
Congressman Elon Omar, who of course is quite outspoken and known from that state, and
another senator from Minnesota, Tina Smith. So those are high-level notable names. We're also
told that investigators are looking into whether or not this suspect or person of interest
was possibly motivated by extreme views on abortion.
So a little bit more coming out about who this individual could have been targeting.
So here's what I have to say about this so far.
If you're thinking about the names that are on his list, the hit list,
it begs the question, why would there be Democrat names only on that list?
This is supposed to be an individual who leans left, Democrat.
Now, my only conclusion with this,
and this is my own personal opinion, folks,
is I believe rhetoric without action creates a vacuum.
What does that mean exactly?
If I continue to go out there and tell my voters and my base
that President Trump is a dictator, he's a fascist,
he's taken over this country, he's destroying our democracy,
this country will not survive if he continues to be president.
But then two days later, I'm on a beach sipping margaritas,
taking selfies, hanging out with my colleagues.
And in some cases, I'm taking a person.
picture with the president shaking his hand and smiling, what does that do for a person who's
mentally unwell, who takes those statements literally? It violates their entire way that they see
the world. So step one for them would be what? Take the people out who they thought they
can trust. That's exactly what's happening here. And so that's what I think is actually taking
place here. So I guess it begs the question. Like, what is the whole point to this? Well, here's one
theory. What was the ultimate game plan? Was it to continue to get through this list, to go as far
down with as many attacks or assassinations as possible until he was stopped by police? What we
know now is that at his first location, he did his first attack in the pre-dawn hours of the morning
in the darkness, that preemptively police went to the second location where the nearest other
elected state official was and ran straight into the suspect.
The Brooklyn Park, Minnesota police exchanged shots with the individual, which caused him to flee towards the house and then into the darkness.
But that also made him leave that car, all of that evidence, and potentially part of his plan behind.

below. Now with the idea that they exchanged gunfire, the fact that he was described as wearing a
tactical vest, probably body armor, likely bullet resistant. He may be wounded or the vest may
have deflected that, but he is with whatever weapons he had on him, without a vehicle, and still
theoretically on the move somewhere in that area that he could have gotten by foot or perhaps
called an associate or a friend to pick him up. So that hunt is still extraordinarily intense.
Now the other interesting story that's coming out of this tragic event is that the state
representative Melissa Hortman had recently sided with Republicans in her state by voting for a bill
that would repeal health benefits for illegal aliens.
Here is a video that is going around social media showing her remorse for voting this way.
Take a listen.
The debate was emotional and at times very personal for some of them.
And there were concerns that the fierce pushback could derail the deal.
What I worry about is the people who will lose their health insurance.
I know that people will be hurt by that vote.
And I'm, we worked very hard to try to get a budget deal.
That wouldn't include that provision.
And we tried any other way we could to come to a budget agreement with Republicans and they wouldn't have it.
Yeah, so at this point, we're left with more questions than answers.
And right now I want to focus on one of them, which is why do Americans think that we need to use a bullet instead of the ballot to make our point?
Why is that?
Why has the political climate become so toxic that people are turning to violence?
well in some sense it always comes down to mindset whatever you continue to repeat to yourself and whatever
you continue to consume over and over again you believe unless you're able to exercise emotional maturity
you're able to discern the truth from what is not true and that's what the average person is unable to do
because they don't practice it so whatever their elected leaders tell them they just eat it up
and a perfect example what's happening today at the no king protests where they're
chanting these words. Take a listen.
In the name of humanity, in the name of humanity, in the name of humanity, in the name of humanity, we refuse to accept.
We refuse to accept. We refuse to accept. A fascist America. A fascist America. Trump must go now.
Trump must go now.
Trump must go now.
Trump must go now.
Trump must go now.
Trump must go now.
Okay, so let's just initially react to that.
Now, First Amendment right, free speech,
they could say whatever they want to say.
There's no problem I have with that.
But there is a consequence to what you're saying.
What you repeat to yourself,
what you continue to chant,
becomes your mantra,
becomes your way of life, the way you see things.
And if you continue to go out there
tell people that Trump must go, some loony on your side will pick up a rifle or a weapon and try to
take the president out. I mean, it's just that simple. That's exactly what's been taking place.
It's exactly what happened to the CEO of United Healthcare, who was murdered in cold blood,
and it's exactly what happened with the two staffers at the Israeli embassy. I mean, it's
a rhetoric, okay? It's a thought, it's a speech, then it's a feeling, then it turns into an action.
And that's what these political leaders are not understanding. I think they're under,
estimating the impact of their words. Now, some of these people just think, oh, it's just words.
I mean, who's really going to take me seriously? In a country of almost 400 million people,
someone will. Last birthday on Earth, motherfucker. May this be your last birthday on Earth,
you fascist motherfucker? Fascists go home.
Dump Musk. Musk. Musk-Mus ketamine overdose. Musk must have a mean overdose.
must have to be an overdose.
Musk must have to be an overdose.
Musk must have been overdose.
So if you are not doing everything
that the Constitution gives you to do
to hold a mad kid accountable,
you're not doing it right.
He's got to go.
He has got to go.
He has got to go.
He has got to go.
He has got to go.
He has got to go.
He is got to go.
He is got to go.
He has got to go.
He is got to go.
So again, if you're listening to that rhetoric that he has to go,
for a mentally unwell individual,
what does that mean for them if he doesn't go?
If he's still president 12 months from now,
they're going to start taking matters into their own hands.
And they're going to seek to assassinate the president of the United States.
Now, according to Democrat leaders,
this rhetoric does not need to be toned down.
this is perfectly fine. See, that's why it's a lose-lose for Democrats because of the strategy
that they are choosing to deploy. They're more in a reaction mode instead of being more strategic
with the way that they respond. They believe the more emotional and the more dramatic they are,
I guess the more effective they will be as a party. But that comes with as downsides.
Because the more you say that everything is extreme, how do we know when it's not?
If everything is an emergency, how do we know when it's not?
everything can not be an emergency and you think you're going to be effective.
It just doesn't work that way.
And in this next clip, we have the law senators mayor finally saying something that she should
have been saying from day one, and that is that violence will not be tolerated.
Take a listen.
And my message to Angelinos is to stay safe, stay alert, and follow guidance from law enforcement
officers who will be located throughout the city.
We will not allow violence, vandalism, or other dangerous,
behavior. So don't even try. Don't even try it in the city today. You will be held accountable
to the full extent of the law, protest peacefully. And what's interesting is it's all about what state
you're in based on how they describe what's going to happen if people choose violence.
Now, the Los Angeles mayor is very passive in her response to people who were obviously
vandalizing downtown Los Angeles and the local businesses there and even assaulting law enforcement
and officers. She was weak in her response in that regard. But when you look at Florida,
oh, they don't play any games. Listen to this clip from the sheriff that actually drew a lot of
backlash from people on the left. Take a listen. If you throw a brick, a firebomb, or point
a gun at one of our deputies, we will be notifying your family where to collect your remains at
because we will kill you graveyard dead. Okay, so it's clear that Florida is not jacking around.
And that's what I would expect to hear from them. I mean, this is nothing new. I mean, again,
people on the left don't like what that sheriff had to say, but here's the life lesson.
If you believe being passive as a leader is going to get you the results you want, you are
clearly naive. We see that in Los Angeles right now. And Mayor Karen Bass has shown us twice
already with the fires and these riots that being a passive leader is not going to get it done.
We need leaders who are going to be firm, swift, and follow through on their decision making.
None of this hesitation, none of this passive stuff.
You are going to respect law and order.
And when you put out that type of energy and you back it up with action, the community understands
where you stand.
And so they're not going to try to test you.
And so look at Los Angeles as an example when you don't do that.
Now, let's go to our next story because this is actually breaking this morning from New York Times.
It is official that the White House, particularly President Trump, has ordered ICE to not
seek to deport individuals who are working on farmland or hotels or restaurants that are illegal.
aliens. Let's hear more about this. Take a listen. Today, the New York Times is reporting
that the Trump administration has told ICE to pause raids and arrests for farm, hotel, and
restaurant workers. On social media on Thursday, President Trump said these workers would be
impossible to replace. I agree with them. But I think that could be said about many more
categories of our labor force. All of which leads me to ask, as I often do of my radio
listeners, when we're finished finding the murderers and the rapists and the assaulters,
what are we going to do about the short order cook from Jersey City?
And by that, I mean the majority who came here illegally, or perhaps overstayed their visa,
but have otherwise been productive members of society.
Now, what actually led up to this announcement from the White House is this post from two days
ago from President Trump, let's just read it to you here.
Our great farmers and people in the hotel and leisure business have been stating that our
very aggressive policy on immigration.
is taking very good, long-time workers away from them, with those jobs being almost impossible
to replace. In many cases, the criminals allowed into our country by the very stupid Biden-open-border
policy are applying for these jobs. This is not good. We must protect our farmers, but get the
criminals out of the USA. Changes are coming. Now, if you ask me, this is a double-binding message,
meaning what? On one hand, President Trump has promised to deport all illegal aliens, but on the other,
He's making exceptions, and that's not going to bode well for people who voted for him.
What made you change your mind about targeting in California of farmers and people in the hotel and leisure business?
Well, we're not targeting. In fact, if you look today, I put out a statement today about farmers.
Our farmers are being hurt badly by, you know, they have very good workers.
They've worked for them for them for 20 years.
They're not citizens, but they've turned out to be, you know, great.
And we're going to have to do something about that.
We can't take farmers and take all their people and send it back because they don't have
maybe what they're supposed to have, maybe not.
And you know what's going to happen and what is happening?
They get rid of some of the people because, you know, you go into a farm and you look
and people don't, they've been there for 20, 25 years and they've worked great and the owner
of the farm loves them and everything else.
And then you're supposed to throw them out and you know what happens?
They end up hiring the people, the criminals that have come in, the murderers,
from prisons and everything else.
So we're going to have an order on that pretty soon, I think.
We can't do that to our farmers.
And leisure, too, hotels.
We're going to have to use a lot of common sense on that.
Okay, so it's clear from the president's point of view that this is a common sense
decision.
Now, I'm of the opinion that I could see why he sees it that way.
Because at the end of the day, this is a president that's trying to make sure economically
this country continues to thrive.
And obviously, if you deport all these people overnight, that's going to cause a disruption economically. No question about it.
Now, what's fascinating, though, on the left, is that these are the same people who cry about the wage gap in inequality, but support illegal aliens crossing the border illegally and then getting a lower wage job, where in some cases, they're paid under the table at a lower wage versus if an American citizen was hired for that job.
So I don't know how you make sense of that either.
And what's also interesting, if we go back to people on the right, some people don't even support President Trump for making this decision.
They want to see all illegal aliens deported, no matter how long they've been in this country.
I don't care if it's 50 years or one day.
They want them gone.
So clearly you need a pragmatic approach here.
You need an approach that's going to not only, I would say, serve the short-term interest of our country economically, but also the long-term interest of our country from a safety standpoint.
point. And I think that's what the president is doing here. But again, a lot of people are not
supported him, especially on the right. So now it's a perfect time to get your guys' reaction
in the common section to these stories today. Let's just start with where we ended here.
Do you support the president for making this decision? Let me know if you do or if you don't
and why that is. Also, what's your reaction to the tragic news of those state lawmakers being
targeted, obviously in a political motivated situation there? This guy is unhinged, no question.
and then what do you think about people's reaction to it and including the No King's protests that are happening across the country?
Give me all your thoughts and more in the comments section below.
Now, as you already know, the protests are happening today across the country, and we're still on standby to see if it's going to turn violent.
But one thing's for sure.
Yesterday, Gavin Newsom suffered another legal blow.
And so if you want to hear more information about that and the stories from yesterday, all you have to do is click on that video because it's coming up right now.
You know.
