In today's video, there's a political, explosion that has hit Congress, particularly Democrats who are trying to defend the idea that they had no idea that Eric Swalwell was up to these nasty things. And more victims are now speaking out. Also, major update regarding tax relief and what is costing families to raise a child in the United States of America, much to get to in this video. But let's start with Gallego, which was Eric Swalwell's best friend and what he had to say earlier this morning. Take a listen.
Starting point is 00:00:58 So I want to make a couple of things very clear. Number one, Eric's wall lied to all of us. He lies to the most powerful people in this country. And they trusted him. They trusted him in some of the most sensitive spots in our government, whether it was on Judiciary Committee, Intel Committee, impeaching Donald Trump. And that clouded my judgment, my friendship with him,
Starting point is 00:01:23 our family's friendship together with him, clouded my judgment. And I was wrong. I deeply, deeply regret that. The women that came forward are courageous and they still deserve justice. But to be clear again, I also had no knowledge of predatory behavior, sexual assault, or harassment. All right. I think you heard exactly what he said. He was living a double life in full more than 20 different members of Congress regarding his lifestyle. Now, obviously, if you plan to believe that, then that means I have a front big.
Starting point is 00:02:00 beach property to sell you in Kentucky because the bottom line to it. That was Eric Swalwell's best friend, a guy who publicly supported him more than anyone else, claims to, and one is to believe, essentially, that he had no idea what was going on. Okay, sure. The fact that the internet has been able to get these video clips of Eric Swalwell's and his interesting behavior, even though he's been married this entire time, goes to show how stupid they think you are, that they're going to be able to sell the idea that they had no idea, no pun intended. Let's go to Pelosi. She was asked the similar question. Here's what she said. Eric Swalwell, resigned today from the Congress. He withdrew from the gubernatorial race in California. Did you tell him to resign?
Starting point is 00:02:49 Oh, I think that was his decision. I think it's a smart decision to make. The right thing to do? Yes, the right thing to do, yes. Not to subject members to have to take a vote on something like that and not to subject your family. Probably five times in the history of our country, has anybody been ejected from the Congress? Why should you be the sixth? If you have a challenge that you have to address, it's best addressed not as a candidate for governor and not as a member of Congress. Some Republicans and others are saying that Democrats turned kind of a blind eye, that they knew what he was up to or what the allegations were. No, that is absolutely positive. It's true that they may say that, but it is absolutely not true.
Starting point is 00:03:29 None whatsoever. Yeah, this is the same woman who essentially forced Joe Biden, a sitting president, to drop out of his reelection bid, right? Okay, sure. I mean, of course they know. That's why members of Congress voted down that resolution that would have made it public information about the sexual assault allegations against all members of Congress. Okay, not every one of them, but the ones that were facing them.
Starting point is 00:03:54 And also released more information regarding the slush fund, by the way. But the crazy thing about what she had to say is she was lying because here's a clip from Dana Bass contradicting what she just said that she did not call for Eric Swalwell to drop out of the race. Take a listen. Did you tell him to resign? Oh, I think that was his decision. I think it's a smart decision to me. The right thing to do? In the case of Eric Swalwell, the former speaker and fellow California, Nancy Pelosi, I am told, picked up the phone and called Swalwell on Friday night and said, you got to drop. out of the governor's race because remember he was a leading candidate and also made clear that he should resign from Congress.
Starting point is 00:04:37 But again, this is what we get as Americans because our politicians, they can't help themselves. Here's Sakeem Jeffries being sworn by reporters because essentially he's one of the individuals in the leadership who never said that he should resign from Congress. Take a little. Did you push Swallow to resign? Did you push Swallow to resign? Remember conversations that I've had will remain private. Why did you call for him publicly to resign, given these allegations?
Starting point is 00:05:01 Thank you. He's made the right decision. And what about Chifos McCormick? Should she resign? Okay, so I don't think we're really shocked by Hakeem Jeffries' poor response there. He definitely never called for Eric Swalwell to resign. And may I remind you guys, the problem with them resigning from Congress, essentially, is they get to keep their benefits.
Starting point is 00:05:20 We talked about it yesterday after the announcement of Representative Tony Gonzalez and Eric Swalwell. they will keep their benefits, meaning their health care and their whatever retirement that they may get. It may not even be a lot of money if you really do the math. But I think most Americans would support the idea that a House ethics investigations should still move forward and they should still rule on these allegations. And if they do and they found that they violated ethics, their benefits should be stripped. That's the bottom line to it. But let's go to Speaker Johnson. Here's what he had to say. Take a listen.
Starting point is 00:05:56 Do you support expelling Cherfoulos McCormick and Corey Mills? Look, as you know, I have been a jealous guardian, a due process around here. I do think certainly on Sheriffless McCormick. The Ethics Committee has gone through all of its processes, and they've found some alarming facts. I think the facts are indisputable at this point, and so I believe it'll be the consensus of this body that she should be expelled. I mean, that certainly rises to the level that's needed. With regard to Mills, I'm not sure the status of the Ethics Committee investigation, and that's one of the things I'll be looking into today.
Starting point is 00:06:31 When does Gonzalez? When does Gonzales? Now, one of the other major updates as a result of the fallout from Eric Swalwell scandal here is that one of his major donors, who also was a candidate for California governor, speaking out, he's claiming that he's leaving the Democrat Party to be a, let me see if I could phrase this correctly. A libertarian Republican. I don't know if that makes sense, but here's what he had to say. Take a listen.
Starting point is 00:06:56 Of the United States, we deserve equal or greater value for our tax dollars. All right. Is it fair enough? Yeah. I was going to say, first say, you're mad. I mean. Bad? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:10 I am no longer a Democrat. I'm now a libertarian Republican. Because that's what a blue dog does. Democrat used to be. Okay? It's called executing, being accountable, enforcing, respect, responsibility, and results, knowing what your job description is, delivering results, unifying, making this country great, the great brand we have, okay? Or we used to. Can we get it, Get it, please? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:49 Can we get it together, please? And you know what? When I ran for the governorship, I did because I couldn't find a candidate that was worthy to back. And I thought Eric had the goods. But he'd tell the truth. Okay. Do you like any of these other options?
Starting point is 00:08:10 Too real intel. Okay. Too real intel. I met them all. Okay, let's just pause for this quick, important update. do you owe back taxes or have unfiled tax returns? Did you retire and suddenly get hit with a huge tax bill you didn't expect? Or are you a business owner with messy books and a balance that is owed to the IRS that you can't afford?
Starting point is 00:08:31 This is why you have to talk to my friends at Tax Network USA. They know exactly how to handle your particular situation. They've been doing it for 15 years because you know the IRS is not going to go away. And if you don't deal with it, it will get worse. So stop what you're doing. called Tax Network USA Today. They will have a free game plan call with you. Well, they'll look at your particular situation, see what the IRS is asking of you, and then give you the proper course of action.
Starting point is 00:08:59 So take advantage of the free investigation call with them today by giving them a call. That number is 1866-686-0279. That is 1-866-686-0279 or go to t-NUSA.com for slash divorce. All right, let's just break this down because there's a few contradictions there. On one hand, he claims that he's leaving the Democrat Party to become a libertarian Republican. That doesn't even make any sense because at the end of his statement, he said he might consider backing another Democrat candidate. So I don't know how that works. The second issue is he clearly admitted out loud his lack of judgment regarding vetting candidates.
Starting point is 00:09:45 He thought Eric Swalwell had the goods. Out of everyone running in that race, you thought Eric Swalwell had the goods? What has Eric Swalwell done in his life that demonstrates that he has the goods? Nothing. Oh, he has the goods, all right, as far as it comes to his relationships with these women outside his marriage. But that's a whole other thing, right? This headline from Politico, the whispered network that caught up to Eric Swalwell. warnings about the lawmaker who had circulated privately,
Starting point is 00:10:17 then a handful of women and online creators pushed them into public view, forcing California's political establishment to reckon with how far he got. And if you look back to the things he said about Brett Kavanaugh during that hearing, it is pretty galling, yes. Ironic, yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:30 Well, not only did the media not cover his allegations, or rather the worst kept secret in Washington, they actively astro-turfed his assent. They're the reason that he is popular, that he is famous right now. he's not popular anymore. Now he's very unpopular with the party. But I think that's the point is that there were so many political incentives for Democrats to take down Swalwell right now, rather than earlier because of the California gubernatorial race. The worst case scenario for Democrats
Starting point is 00:10:56 in this jungle primary would be if there was a Republican and a Republican on the general ballot, like Steve Hilton and the other one, or that there was Swalwell and another Republican, and then the Republicans could use this opposition research at the most convenient and advantageous time to tank his candidacy, which would ruin the government. See, Eric Swalwell is a great example of the power of the establishment. And what I mean by that is it doesn't take long for them to prop you up and make you look like you are the answer. It doesn't take much. All you have to do is make your rounds on, obviously, cable news, TV shows, different podcasts.
Starting point is 00:11:35 Everybody starts singing the same talking points. And before you know it, through the sheer principle of repetition, the public perception about you changes. It doesn't take much. And the media has been doing this for obviously and longer than I've been alive. So I'm not shocked that they kept using words like the frontrunner of the California governorship, which is a complete joke. And now they've tossed them into the trash. And it happened like that, that quickly. And whether the allegations are true or not, I think at a minimum, he should have never been in Congress to begin with. based on the allegations from the Chinese spy scandal.
Starting point is 00:12:14 That alone should have disqualified him from Congress. But who am I, right? Now, let's go to this CBS News exclusive, where they set down with the victims. They are now showing their faces, unlike the CNN interview, and here's what they had to say. The fact that he has now dropped out of the governor's race
Starting point is 00:12:33 and resigned from Congress, is that justice in your view? No, it's just the beginning. It's just the very beginning. And I know personally that we're not walking away from this fight. For me, justice won't be until he can't ever harm a woman ever again. And he has faced the consequences for the women that he has harmed. I think in regards to the governor's race, he never should have ran for governor to begin with,
Starting point is 00:13:00 knowing the kind of history and receipts that are out there. So that's a non-starter. And then in terms of Congress, I think he absolutely should have. have resigned. I think we just prevented another 30 to 40 years potentially of him harming people if he were to stay in Congress. So in that sense, I think we have served justice for his future victims that won't exist anymore. Okay, so why don't you guys give me your reaction in the chat or the comment section. If you were in charge, what would you do about Eric Swalwell? Tony Gonzalez, Corey Mills, Representative McCormick out of Florida, two Democrats, two Republicans.
Starting point is 00:13:44 What would you do about them? Now, according to Speaker Johnson, you heard him utter those words, due process. But, I mean, based on everything you are aware of, what would you do? Let me know. I want to hear what your guys' thoughts are about all of this. All right. And by the way, do you believe it's coordinated? And do you believe what these women are saying?
Starting point is 00:14:03 I really want to hear your guys' thoughts. Okay. Let's move to our next story. We're shifting gears here. And now we're talking about the economy. We're talking about what the White House is reporting, which is a record number of tax refund income that is coming in for everyday Americans. But particularly the problem, though, that Fox News is talking about is how much it's costing to raise a family today. So we're going to get into a lot of economic stuff.
Starting point is 00:14:29 And hopefully some of my insights will be helpful for some of you guys out there. Let's start with this first clip. Take a listen. What is the big beautiful bill done to help people out, child tax credit? And this evening, Democrats love this. Up to $2,200 per child, that's why to keep all of them, the kids can really pay off in the spring. Child care credit is up to $3,000 to now $6,000. And the dependent care, the FSA cap arises to $7,500. And I think the coolest thing is the Trump accounts at $1,000 per newborn.
Starting point is 00:15:03 When people have a birthday president, you have, go to a two-year-old birthday party, which what do you get them? Well, what you get them now is, here's a bond or here's a deposit for the Trump account. That's a good idea. To me, it's the best idea. They've got to talk about this.
Starting point is 00:15:15 That should be on the registry, like a baby registry. It has to be. And you have to sign up for it. Don't forget. You have to go and sign your child up for it. If you missed a deadline, you don't get it. And those tax credit as well, remember the legislation wasn't bipartisan,
Starting point is 00:15:27 even though most people support those tax credits for. And the FSA, you can take money out of your paycheck. You can set it up to where that's pre-taxed. I mean, it's pre-taxed that so you get that money. It's not taxed. And it goes into an account for your child. And that's $7,500. You can use that to pay for things for your child.
Starting point is 00:15:47 You know, if they really wanted to go to the next level with this type of relief, they would remove the 401K scam. Okay. What I mean by that is stop penalizing Americans for invested into their future. Why do I need to pay tax on the money I just made and then pay another tax on the money I would draw from my 401K? Can someone please explain that to me? It makes no sense. Let's not even get into Social Security.
Starting point is 00:16:14 For some reason, someone pays 40 years into Social Security and what they get paid in the end, I would argue, is nothing near what they paid into it. And let's not even get into how it's bankrupting our country. So that's another scam. Now, the newborn accounts, the Trump accounts, genius idea, by the way, I think we should continue to encourage corporations to chip in on this. I think it's a great way to invest into our future as far as our children are concerned. I like that. But then Fox News goes into the story about how, hey, on one hand, no tax on tips, Social
Starting point is 00:16:47 Security overtime, great. Large tax refund in history. Great. But the cost to raise a family, it's increased by 30%. Take a listen. It's expensive to raise a child. How expensive means it? It's gone up 30% actually, nearly 30% over the past three years.
Starting point is 00:17:06 It costs more than $300,000 to raise a child in the United States nowadays. So apparently it's all about where you live. And the most expensive places are Hawaii, Maryland, and Massachusetts. Of course, the South, you get a break. $17,000 in Mississippi, Alabama, $18,000, and South Dakota. to 18. So that's over the course of 18 years, right? For the first five years. Right. But since 2023, they say the cost of raising a kid is up 27%. So just so you know, just keep track, they will pay you back. Right. If you just keep that invoice, you don't think that most of this,
Starting point is 00:17:42 though, is coming from the child care costs that is impacting. Gosh, everything is so expensive. And what happens when you have a child is no longer you buying things for yourself. Everything goes to that child and you think about them constantly. Okay, so according to that report, $300,000 is what it takes to raise a kid in the United States. $300,000. I would argue it's more than that. And so it begs to question, what could Americans be doing to rise above that cost?
Starting point is 00:18:14 Well, it goes back to the very basic principles we talk about every time on the show. You've got to think outside the box as far as your economic situation, meaning you got to find different ways to earn money. And the interesting part about it is we live in a time of abundance. There is no shortage of money. There is no shortage of opportunities. There is a shortage of people making a committed decision to see it through to the end and to put themselves in a position to earn more money. Yeah, there is a shortage of that. I mean, inflation has already occurred. There is no going back. And that's what a lot of people don't seem to understand. And so what do Democrats do? Well, they weaponize this issue by releasing targeted ads like this.
Starting point is 00:18:55 350,000 New Jerseyans are losing their health insurance, 42,000 alone in this district. Why? Because Republicans like my opponent, Joe Hathaway, would gleefully vote for the big, ugly bill. You don't have to take my word for it. Have you voted for it? Well, I would have, because once again, it was the largest tax cut in the history of America. The ultra-rich has received $4.5 trillion in tax cuts. And every single family in our district is going to be feeling that in one way or another. My Republican opponent and supporters of Donald Trump added $3 trillion to the national deficit
Starting point is 00:19:31 and have gutted safety net programs like Medicaid and SNAP just to give another tax break to billionaires and corporations. Another vote for Republicans like Joe Hathaway is another vote for all of that. Now, unfortunately, for that targeted ad, it was completely false. In fact, the new reporting from the IRS says that it's actually the wealthy who's paying the highest taxes right now because of the one big beautiful bill. So again, it doesn't really matter because people who would vote for someone like that probably is not interested in doing any research. So there's that. But even if it was true, the buck stops with us individually. The government's not going to save you and it's not going to save me. We've got to take charge of our own careers, our own livelihood. And if we don't do that, someone else will. And if we leave it up to someone else, we can't be disappointed by the results. Okay. So so far, they're arguing that $100 billion of tax refunds will stimulate the economy. This is being reported by Newsmax. Take a listen. Okay, Mitch, real quick, some provisions in the 2025 tax package include the ability to deduct up to $10,000 in interest on a loan for a U.S. assembled vehicle purchased in 2025. What other provisions should taxpayers know that could affect their return? Well, that salt state and local taxes has jumped enormously, and that's going to be very helpful.
Starting point is 00:20:57 It's gone, I think, up from 10,000 to 40,000. So that's going to be very, very good. And the consumer is the driver of the economy. So the $100 billion in total refunds that's going to be added, which is about $3,500 per household, will really, really stimulate the economy and be very positive. I think the big beautiful bill was really good for the economy in general. And I think that, you know, we should pay less in taxes and people don't need to stress about it. You know, I think that the important takeaway is that there are more deductions this year than we've ever had.
Starting point is 00:21:33 And the payout's going to be bigger and larger than we've ever seen. Now, that all sounds great. But there's one glaring issue that's going to become a serious issue for the administration moving forward. And that's gas prices. Again, another personal story the other night. we or I filled up our SUV and it was $116 to fill it up. We were literally on E when I did so. And the price was $4.59 per gallon.
Starting point is 00:22:03 And this is in Texas, by the way. Now $4.59 from someone who moved from California, that sounds like California gas prices. Now those gas prices are absolutely through the roof. Of course, people in California, particular politicians will try to blame President Trump, but really California has already has already had a gas price problem, if that makes sense. Anyways, I didn't really have a problem with the price, but I know people will have problems
Starting point is 00:22:30 with the price. Now, let's go to the vice president because yesterday he spoke to Brett Baer on that particular issue. Take a listen. Last thing, should the American people be ready for more increased prices, especially at the gas tank, considering that this does not look like it's going to resolve very quickly as far as the straight of war moves. Well, you know, the president said, Brett, that yes, gas prices are higher, yes, energy prices
Starting point is 00:22:55 are higher. First of all, they're higher from a baseline where we've never had the terrible energy prices that we had of the last administration. So we come at this from a position of strength. But, Brett, absolutely, we know the American people are hurting. That's why that we're negotiating so aggressively to try to get the energy prices to come down. We're going to keep on working at it.
Starting point is 00:23:15 I do think that we're in a place where we've accomplished our objectives. We can start to wind this thing down. I'd much rather wind this thing down with a big successful negotiation. But regardless, the president said, this is not going to go on forever. That's never his intention. And I think because of that, the energy prices, while painful, are not going to be around forever. Okay. So that's what the vice president had to say.
Starting point is 00:23:39 So let's get your guys' thoughts and comments below. What do you make of this continuous Eric Swalwell's scan? now Democrats are being called out for essentially gaslighting people trying to make us believe that they didn't have any idea that he was up to this type of stuff. What do you make of Gallego's his little press conferences that he continues to have? And Nancy Pelosi was caught lying. And then what do you think of the fact that it's costing 30% more to raise children in the United States of America today and also the tax relief? Give me your thoughts, everything you got in the comment section below. Now, this takes this to our next video, which was an interview with Chad Bianco.
Starting point is 00:24:15 the sheriff of Riverside County. This comes obviously as Eric Swalwell has dropped out of the race. And he answers a few of our questions, which I think are important. What would his priorities look like if he became the governor of California? Well, if you're interested in that interview and more, click on the video because it's coming up right now.
