Things in Seattle have taken a turn for the worst because the mayor is finally admitting that her homelessness program has utterly failed. And in fact, things have gotten worse because she's shipping the homeless encampments to other neighborhoods in order to clean up the city for the World Cup. And guess what?
Starting point is 00:01:15 The people of Seattle are now turning on the mayor. Significant changes in how Seattle and King County will approach homelessness. Today, the executive and mayor jointly announcing a major downsizing of the King County Regional Homelessness, That agency has been tasked with solving the homeless crisis since 2019, but since then, the rate of homelessness has only gone up and millions of dollars unaccounted for. These are significant changes to how we deliver our regional response to homelessness. The King County Regional Homelessness Authority has been mired in controversy for many years and a recent audit released damning evidence of $13 million of unaccounted spending.
Starting point is 00:01:54 It's no secret that over the past six years, this organization has experienced. significant leadership turnover, multiple audits, and most recently an independent forensic evaluation that identified serious concerns related to financial management. The bottom line is people got in there and they got theirs. That's a problem with America overall, by the way. This is human behavior, just so we understand. People are for themselves. They say they have empathy.
Starting point is 00:02:26 They really don't have it. What they have is their own greed that overrides whatever empathy they say that they had. Because once they see the money, like once you see six or seven digits in a bank account, you think a little differently. You start wondering, okay, how can I get a piece of this? I'm telling, I guarantee that's what happened. So what signal does that send to the people who come after them? Not much.
Starting point is 00:02:51 How many people will be prosecuted for heading up this failed organization? Doesn't sound like they're going to do that. Because remember, these socialists don't believe in actually policing people and holding them a camp. All right. So, let's go to the people of Seattle, ripping the mayor, as I told you guys, because they've absolutely turned on her. Hello, I'm Gary Allen. And I'm a cadet for CID. And I say, why us?
Starting point is 00:03:21 Seriously, why us? We trusted Mayor Wilson. We believe in Mayor Wilson. but in the end, she lied to our Asian American community. She said there would be zero tolerance for drug billing and selling stolen goods. But the corner of 12th Avenue in Jackson Street is worse than ever. Instead of coming up with a plan to drive World Council of World Traffic two are away, she said homeless drug addicts to our community.
Starting point is 00:03:48 Okay, let me translate because I don't know what's going on is Mike. Bottom line is she had promised that she was going to use the World Cup. traffic to stimulate the local economy, right? Stimulate local small business by routing the traffic through these certain areas, right? She didn't do that. Instead, she sent homeless accountants. Oh, man, I'm not laughing at them, okay? I'm just laughing at the stupidity, okay? You really thought Katie Wilson, who was living at home when her parents and knew how to do all of that? Of course not. Come on, man. We're giving these elected representatives way too much credit. I wonder, did they even have a World Cup, like, commission or council that was in charge of this?
Starting point is 00:04:30 I guess even if they did, they probably had to succumb to her way of thinking. But this is what happens. And soccer fans would not have to see them in downtown, the waterfront, a tight place market. Wilson claims to be an advocate for marginalized communities of color. But all she did was turn the CIA into a human dumping ground, and we've had enough. man i why don't even put this video up if your mic is just like his mic's not even on um so he's characterizing as a as a human dumping ground i mean just imagine that type of graphic right using those type of words when he actually voted for that mayor now some people will say i am with you
Starting point is 00:05:12 this is what you get right this is what you get when you vote for a socialist these people are not well versed in economics they're not well versed in stimulating small business. I could tell you what they're well versed in, ensuring that they become the source of the money and the power, and they leave you out to dry. That's what they're really great at. Maybe I'm being a little tough here,
Starting point is 00:05:34 but that's what the results show. We have told we will no longer be taken advantage of by white city leaders who only come to the CID for them some. We are more than just here for your opinion. This is so racist. We have seen a citizen A rich cultural history And we want to preserve our identity
Starting point is 00:05:56 Merrill Wilson Please show up and help us out She's not going to show up That's not who she is Why would she show up? That's a PR nightmare Her handlers will not let her do that Now let's go one step further
Starting point is 00:06:12 Because this stuff gets worse This is look how close this is to the space needle You guys see that? Look how close it is Now, I'm from California. This is nothing new. So in the most historical areas in Venice Beach, Santa Monica, Newport Beach, even downtown Los Angeles, Hollywood, same scenario.
Starting point is 00:06:32 You got homeless setting up right next to places where tourists are supposed to be taking photos. It's an abomination. In front of the space, Needle, there was an encampment here. I just wanted to check to see what you guys were up to. I thought you would at least maybe consider moving for the Pride Parade. You don't live here. I'm just visiting.
Starting point is 00:06:48 You're just visiting. Okay. Oh, okay. Oh, okay. Hey, man. What's up, man? You got Pokemon cards? Is that what it looks like?
Starting point is 00:06:57 I don't know. You're selling them? You got any good pulls? Hey. Come on, man. That's crazy. What do you guys think of that? And a pride parade.
Starting point is 00:07:14 All happening at the same time, how things have changed. Now, I like to believe that Seattle's been this way for quite some time, you know. But, you know, go back 50 years ago. I don't think most people would think America would have ended up like this on both sides of the political spectrum. Go back 50 years. You really thought this is where we would be at? I mean, this is craziness. Let's go deeper here.
Starting point is 00:07:41 Here's another point of view on this. I'll follow up to the addicted mother and her nine-month baby girl. We are here at the tent this morning. We took her to a tiny house village. Left here is a scene of a neglected child. where there are uncapped needles, rotten food, use Narcan cartridges, filthy dirty bedding, filthy dirty toys, needles in her stroller, and squall of living conditions. Rodents are abound. So we have to ask our lawmakers, what is an imminent danger to yourself or others?
Starting point is 00:08:15 They don't know what an imminent danger is. In fact, the only imminent danger to them is the Trump administration. When they think it's the Trump administration, that's the problem and not themselves, this is what happens. Suicidal empathy. When you have a mother with a nine-month-old baby addicted to drugs, can around her needles, hello, Houston, we have a problem, and she's still on the streets, that's the person I'm talking about. That should be removed from the neighborhood, removed from the streets, and sent to a location outside of the streets. town. And that nine-month-old baby? Oh, yeah. I don't even understand how they could even stomach.
Starting point is 00:08:57 Oh, yeah, that's right. These people don't care about babies like that. I'm sure they support full-term abortion, if you know what I mean. A baby is living in this type of condition. This should be full-stop child neglect. Add drugs, fire hazards, filthy, dirty clothes, no running water. To our lawmakers, we need to hold you accountable to change the law to protect the children. They're not going to change any laws. Why would they do that? Again, most of these people in charge of the laws, they're not living a life like this. They're not really exposed to that.
Starting point is 00:09:31 They're not showing up to where she is. They're not doing that type of work. Why would they actually change? Do they really love Seattle? Or do they love themselves more? Do they really love Seattle or do they love their misplaced, save your mindset, suicidal empathy point of view more? I think we know what the answer is to that question based on the results. All right.
Starting point is 00:09:55 Let's go to the mayor herself, right? Here's a couple of comments of what she recently had to say about all of this. We are reabsorbing our city and county contracts to the city and the county. And, you know, this I feel is really, for me, a matter of taking political responsibility. The agency's budget is roughly $200 million per year. The move means the agency will see most of those dollars go away. but will handle around 67 million in federal continuum of care funding to fight homelessness. We have seen another significant increase, especially in our rates of unsheltered homelessness,
Starting point is 00:10:32 which we should all feel is unacceptable and feel it's definitely unacceptable. You're unacceptable because you thought you're going to be able to just spend $200 million a year and it was going to work. Now what they're trying to do is essentially say, well, you know, we'll absorb the actual cost. Oh, what? So you're going to tax the people of Seattle even more for this? She's way in over her head. I'm not even trying. I'm not attacking her. I'm sure she's a nice person if you had lunch with her or something like that. But if you're looking for someone who's a true leader who can actually execute and not spew theories, this ain't it. A real urgency around addressing that fact. After the announcement, KCRHA, CEO, Dr. Kelly Kness, and acknowledged the agency hasn't met expectations.
Starting point is 00:11:19 but she says eliminating it is not the answer. It is a failed experiment, and I think we need to do something different. So I really respect the courage of the mayor and the executive to do that. Mayor Wilson's right. The courage of the mayor? The courage of the mayor. This has been a failed experiment for six years. Tell me where the courage is at.
Starting point is 00:11:42 On day one, she should have shut it down. Now she's finally doing it. And why? Oh, yeah, that's right. World Cup. she got she has to make it seem like she's trying to do something. That this actually puts political accountability back where it should be. The executive and mayor will provide their specific proposal to dial back KCRHA in August.
Starting point is 00:12:01 And council members from each body will have to approve. A lot of reaction has already come in from city and county leaders. Many applauding the current plan, but others including council member Reagan Dunn saying KCRHA is a failed experiment. He wants the agency completely dissolved. I agree. Why not take the $200 million, as I've been saying throughout this entire video, and go set up a, you know, some area for, you know, some neighborhood for these people? I don't know. It's like I'm, you know, I'm a broken record at this point. All right. Let's go to the city council because not only are they protesting on the streets, but they've been
Starting point is 00:12:43 showed up to the city council meetings and calling out the city for this failed experiment. Today I'm here to share comments on the trans and queer interdepartmental team, IDT, formed by the mayor to establish a structured permanent framework for supporting transgender and queer individuals who have relocated to Seattle to escape hostile environments in other states. The clear intent of the IDT is to redirect public funds to pay for housing, food, and elective and cosmetic medical procedures for trans individuals. We oppose the use of taxpayer money for these purposes. It's clear that the appeal made to the mayor
Starting point is 00:13:22 to declare an emergency of trans refugees was based on highly inflated numbers. Just sit with that for except. Just sit with that. So she announced to declare an emergency of trans refugees. Say that five times fast. Okay. I haven't seen her declaring an emergency
Starting point is 00:13:52 on veteran homelessness. Where's that at? Or an emergency on the poor lack of education. Or an emergency on Antifa. Trans refugees. Trans refugees. All right, damn it. I'm a refugee then. You know what? I'm a refugee of common sense. I'm a common sense refugee. My mind is breaking at this stupidity. I need help. I need resources. Pay my bills, please. Pay my health insurance. Give me food. Give me housing.
Starting point is 00:14:34 I need it. Oh, man. This is crazy. ...refugees was based on highly inflated numbers and that no such emergency exists. I am calling on the council to take action to disband the IDT, and I will bring more public attention to this issue to help facilitate this. It is ironic to claim there is a genocide on the trans community
Starting point is 00:14:56 when the truth is that the trans movement is the genocide upon our people. It is unconscionable to persuade a child to damage or destroy their reproductive organs before they've even reached the age of consent. What else do you, how do you boo that? You're asking someone to commit a permanent act. Why is this clip so relevant to this entire scandal surrounding the World Cup and this mayor? Well, it's because this is where her priorities are. An emergency for trans refugees is her priority.
Starting point is 00:15:31 Not doing right by the neighborhoods that she promised with sin economic relief and support and traffic from the World Cup. Instead, sent homelessness. The trans movement is a glamorized form of population control pushed by leftist, pushed by leftist ideology. So yes, trans individuals have been victimized, but not by Republican policy. In fact, Seattle Republicans can be a part of welcoming them, seeing them as equals under the law, and recognizing them as contributing members of society. Thank you very. That's absolutely true. I don't, listen, if I'm at a trans person, I'm not, you know, I'm not scared.
Starting point is 00:16:14 I don't think they're less than me. I don't ever see people in that way. And maybe it's just something inherently within me. Like, I don't get in awe of people who are famous. I just look at them as regular people. So it goes both ways for me. I don't have a personal issue with people who are trans. I actually have, I feel bad for them in some ways
Starting point is 00:16:34 because I know they've been fed a bunch of lies. And they're in a mass state of confusion. And some of these people, they've altered their self-image to match this ideology, essentially. Elliot Page, for an example, right? I'm going to stop because that whole thing is, It's craziness. But what's also craziness is what this Seattle mayor is doing.
Starting point is 00:17:00 Her own constituents are turning on her. They lied. She lied to them. She's stabbing them in the back. She's shipping homeless people into these neighborhoods instead of diverting the traffic of the World Cup to stimulate the local economy and all for what exactly? Misplaced empathy.
Starting point is 00:17:17 Oh, now we realize the program is a failure after six years and the money's gone to nothing. I mean, this has just gotten on hand. And the only people to truly blame for all of this is the people of Seattle. So will things change after this? I don't know. Maybe you know the answer to that.
