Major updates for you, starting with Detroit, Michigan.
That police department is being sued after they attempted to fire a police officer
after she contacted Border Patrol.
Also, Denver, Colorado, they just signed an order authorizing their local police officers
to investigate federal agents.
I mean, this stuff is getting out of hand.
But let's go to Detroit, Michigan, and hear about this lawsuit first.
Take a listen.
A police officer out of Detroit fighting back after she says she was suspended without pay
after calling Customs and Border Protection
during a routine traffic stop.
The department saying that Sergeant Denise Wallet
violated police policy
by contacting immigration agents,
but Wallet says she was ordered to do so.
What's the truth?
Garrett Tenney tries to wave through that today.
Good morning. Garrett, what you find out?
Yeah, Bill, good morning to you.
That officer is now filing a federal lawsuit
against the Detroit Police Department
for violating her due process rights.
Earlier this month, Sergeant Denise Wallet
responded to a traffic stop
when officers were having trouble identifying the driver, a Venezuelan man, when a fingerprint scanner didn't work, and they found out he had a fake ID.
DPD claims, Wallet then violated department policy by calling Border Patrol to help figure out who the guy was, which led to him being taken into federal custody.
But this new body camera video supports her claims that her lieutenant instructed her to call Border Patrol.
Listen to this.
That's the one people we can call.
Yeah.
I talked to Lieutenant Henry.
Oh, that's your better suicide.
I talked to him and he told me to call him.
So this is the perfect example of how our police officers in this country are being handicapped every single day.
You got policies on the book, in my opinion, that sound like a big contradiction.
In one hand, you're supposed to keep people safe.
But on the other hand, you're not allowed to identify someone who clearly looks like they're in this country unlawfully.
You can't even call for a translator.
You can't even talk to Border Patrol or ICE who might actually have information about this individual.
How are they supposed to keep our neighborhood safe exactly?
How are they supposed to be safe?
And this is why I said, Sanctuary City policies are a total contradiction to public safety.
And then, out of all people like the police chief to come out and demand she be fired,
Sounds like that police chief does not have the backs of his own officers.
Let's continue.
The police chief initially called for the 27-year veteran of the force to be fired,
but she ultimately was suspended without pay for 30 days,
not for calling Border Patrol the department says,
but for violating department policy that no officer should use differential
treatment of individuals in the context of rendering police services
based on a citizen's classification or the member's perception of any such classification.
Wallet's attorney is pushing back on those claims,
and the department's initial story
that Wallet was called to the scene
to help translate for the driver
who didn't speak English.
At no point in time did she contact them
for translation purposes.
Absolutely no policy was violated whatsoever.
And at some point, she called her lieutenant
and said, what do I do?
We can't identify this man.
What do I do?
And the lieutenant, knowing the policy
and following the policy,
told her, call Border Patrol.
Last week, DPD also suspended a second officer for contacting Border Patrol in an entirely separate incident, something DHS is criticizing while Michigan Democrats like Rashida Talib are celebrating the suspension.
See, when you hear that a member of Congress is celebrating a police officer who's been in that position for almost 20 years.
So this is a career, someone who has served the community honorably.
It just shows you how toxic politics have become.
And it's gotten away from what the truth really is and the truth of the matter.
If we're going to keep people safe, we got to let our officers do exactly what they're hired to do.
Stop handicapping them.
And it always seems to be the good ones who are punished.
Now, let's go from Detroit, Michigan, to Denver, Colorado, because they're literally doing the same thing but times 10.
Listen to this.
Denver's mayor, Mike Johnson, joins us now.
It's good to have you with us, Mr. Mayor.
So I know you've said this is part of your effort to make clear to your residence.
where the city stands. Do you have concerns, though, that this order could actually invite more
federal scrutiny and potentially federal activity in your city?
Thanks for having me this morning. I made clear yesterday our goal here is not to provoke,
but it's to protect. We get questions from residents every day about what will happen if we see
the kind of forces of troops descend on Denver that they saw in Minneapolis. I think what our
residents want to know is that any law enforcement officer that operates in Denver will be transparent,
will be accountable, and that the rule of law still applies. And that's what we want to
to let people know is that we will have a duty to intervene if someone is injured. We will have a
duty to investigate if there is a crime committed and we'll have a duty to interfere and step in and
take an officer who might be using excessive force out of that situation, whether that's a Denver
police officer or whether that's an ICE officer. And I think that's what residents expect from us
in the terms of public safety and that's what we're committing to. Now, that mayor, just like the
rest of them who have been taking these measures, they always leave out the most convenient fact,
which is the other side of it is their own residents of those citizens.
city want ICE to be there. They want even federal authorities to be involved in some cases because,
as we've seen in what happened to Aurora, Colorado, where members of the TDA gang took over an
apartment complex and where was he at this entire time? You see, when innocent people get hurt,
you won't see the mayor on CNN talking about that. But when illegal aliens are getting
arrested in his city, now you're going to see him on CNN. Just doesn't make any sense.
So just to be clear on that point, you're saying if that's a federal officer,
it's an ICE agent. Does this mean that effectively local police could arrest federal agents?
Officers in Denver right now have what's called a duty to intervene, which is if you see a
fellow officer who's using excessive force in a way that's inappropriate, you have an obligation
as an officer to step in and remove that officer from the situation. Officers around the country do that
every day. What we're saying is that same expectation extends to federal officers who might be
operating on our streets. That's the way we've done it in the past. That's the way we'll do it now.
That is a dangerous decision from the mayor. Same thing happened in Los Angeles, what can
Aaron Bass, where the police chief and the sheriff both condemn that type of behavior.
Essentially, they won't enforce the mass mandate that Gavin Newsom placed on that state because
they know it would lead to confrontation between local authorities and federal authorities.
That doesn't make any sense.
So wait a minute.
You're suggesting that your local police officers will intervene in a federal law enforcement
operation?
Why are you trying to pit them against each other?
This is why I'm saying.
It's a dangerous policy move, and I guarantee there's a lot of police officers in that local police department that disagree with this.
They have better things to do than to interfere with what ICE agents are doing.
It's out of this world.
Now, the mayor's executive order creates several provisions, he says, will protect Denver rights,
including requiring Denver police officers to intervene and detain ICE agents if those officers see agents using excessive force.
It also bans federal agents from using city-owned property for their operations.
But what does this actually mean for everyday Coloradans like you and I?
Is this putting another target on our backs? Why is it matter right now?
Denver 7th is Colette Borlawn, working to get answers for you tonight.
I hear I declare this an unlawful assembly.
What the nation has seen out of Minneapolis.
All the things that you see on television are scary.
He said what's far more heartbreaking is what you don't see on television actually.
Has Coloradans asking, what's next?
What will we do if that chaos comes to Denver?
to Denver. So with a signature and a round of applause. Denver Mayor Meg Johnston signed this executive
order barring federal organizations like ICE from accessing city property with signs that will be
posted saying those locations cannot be used for immigration enforcement. Our goal is not to provoke,
but to protect. This story broke nationally just around 30 minutes before this press conference.
Does this feel performative at all? I know. I think this is about our clear attempt to signal to
Denver residents what their needs are and I think to answer questions that we get over
and over and over and about the risks. This executive order continues to address how Denver
police would respond to civil immigration enforcement. The police chief Ron Thomas says the department
will lead with de-escalation tactics. All law enforcement officers have a statutory obligation
to intervene if they witness illegal or excessive force being used by any law enforcement
officer to include federal agents. So every year around this time, many seniors 65,
years are older, are surprised to learn that their Medicare plan no longer covers the doctors
they've been seen. Then they talk about how confusing Medicare is and how the system is poorly
designed by the government, because you know you can't trust them and corrupt because of the
insurance company. So what should you do if that is you? Call my friends at Chapter because they are
the only national advisor that compares and recommends every Medicare plan and to ensure what,
that it fits your exact needs.
They'll help people save over $1,100 in their health care costs.
They'll help you understand the enrollment process options
and find ways to save on your health care.
These guys are not going to push you around
and force you to buy a plan you don't want or need.
Their support is completely free.
So if you're turning 65 sooner
have questions about your Medicare coverage,
please call them at 323-4-3-2-0.
Again, that number is 3-2-3-3-4-3-3-3-3-5-3.
Listen, there's a reason why that police chief is reading from a sheet of paper.
In his heart, he knows this is the wrong move.
Knowing law enforcement officer out there who really believes in public safety would intervene
with a federal law enforcement officer, that is a disaster waiting to happen.
I'm telling you guys, this is just another step that proves that Democrats are looking to bait
this administration into fatal outcomes.
That's how far they're willing to go.
The chief also says any law enforcement officers who use deadly force or seriously injure someone in Denver will be investigated and potentially charged criminally.
This executive order is measured. It's constitutional.
The Denver city attorney says if federal agents violated the order and conducted immigration enforcement on city property, there could be civil or criminal penalties or even asking a court for an injunction to stop such actions.
If this is an activity not in cooperation with local law enforcement on city property, we feel
clear we have the capacity to dictate or control who can or can't use that land.
Okay, now this is deja vu because the Chicago mayor, Brandon Johnson, he signed a similar
order as well, authorizing local police officers to investigate ICE agents when they believe
they broke in the law.
Now, when they use language like they're going to investigate, they may arrest, they're
going to prosecute, they're going to interfere, now they're going to force.
far. If I'm living in these cities, the last thing I need is my local police officers being
obsessed with what ICE agents are doing. Why don't you be obsessed with keeping my community
safe? Why don't you become obsessed with enforcing the law, holding criminals accountable?
You know, that's where my mind goes with all of this. But again, it's not just Denver,
guys. It's across the country. I'll show you.
Well, Denver City Council is expected to approve a policy next week that would require federal
agents clearly identify themselves and ban them from wearing masks.
Previously, the Department of Homeland Security has told us they will not comply with what they
call an unconstitutional ban.
For more contact, cities like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston also have orders
banning ICE from operating in city and state-run areas.
And taking closer look at Chicago here, last month, the mayor signed an executive order
creating ice-free zones to protect residents from federal immigration enforcement on city
property. And what followed documented use of Chicago public schools parking lots and a city-owned
parking lot as staging areas for federal immigration enforcement operations. Yeah. So as you guys
seen, across the country, these cities are choosing to protect illegal aliens. They're continuing
to tolerate lawlessness. They believe in sanctuary city policies, even though it clearly
contradicts public safety. The people in those cities, some of them don't even buy into this.
but their leaders are not listening to them.
Their leaders are listening to the anti-Trump rhetoric,
the propaganda that's been used by the top leaders of the Democrat Party
to make the American people believe that ICE agents are going too far.
No, what's going too far is when you allow 10 to 20 million illegal aliens into this country,
and then when they kill an American citizen, you don't want to say anything about it.
Yeah, that's going too far for me.
All right, let's go to our next story.
If you really want to talk about going too far, Bill Clinton,
was finally deposed just like his wife yesterday.
And here is the update on that. Take a listen.
This is an extraordinary moment.
The testimony of a former president.
Republicans don't think that Bill Clinton necessarily did anything wrong.
This is all born out of a house effort last summer to compel the release of the Epstein files.
We saw them roll in some documents into the room just a little bit ago.
Now, the committee subpoenaed various luminaries, including the Clintons, bill today.
but Hillary yesterday.
I never met Jeffrey Epstein, never had any connection or communication with him.
I knew Galane Maxwell casually as an acquaintance, but whatever they asked me, I did my very best to respond.
Republican Nancy May says Hillary was, quote, screaming and unhinged during the deposition.
Unlike Hillary Clinton, her husband associated with Epstein, he tracked.
traveled with Epstein and Epstein donated money to the Clinton Foundation.
Republicans want to know how Epstein used his connections to hide his crimes.
That's part of the reason that Bill Clinton is here today.
Now, the interesting thing about Bill Clinton being deposed, they're doing this because ultimately
they want to depose the president, Donald J. Trump.
And it's not going to lead anywhere, as you guys know.
And again, what I find to be so interesting about this entire Epstein debacle, because
That's exactly what it is up to this point, is that you have actual photos of Bill Clinton hanging out with Jeffrey Epstein in a spa.
Okay.
You've got direct communication with some people out there who have already resigned with Jeffrey Epstein.
Then you've got people who were affiliated with Hillary Clinton's daughter showing up at their wedding, okay, like Galeen Maxwell.
You have all of these particular facts, but none of them are full.
focused on by Democrats. Now let's go to Representative Anna Polina Luna because here's what she had to say,
which I found was stunning. Take a listen. That Jeffrey Epstein was running a intelligence gathering
operation in my professional opinion. I do believe it was a honeypot operation. And I do believe
that there's a list of individuals who did engage in trafficking, where given these plea deals,
and I'm going to name those individuals right now. The first one would be Leslie Groff.
The second one, Sarah Kellan. The third one, Nadia Markova. And the fourth one, Adriana
All of these women engaged in the trafficking of minors as adults.
They were working and complicit with Jeffrey Epstein's operation.
And in my opinion, they are not to be given victim status because they did partake in harming young girls.
I remember seeing in some of the files, some of these girls were, you know, as young as 10, 11 years old and older.
And so obviously we have a lot of work to do.
Again, all they're looking to do is trying to find some people.
connection that they can leverage in order to try to impeach the president and ruin his career.
That's essentially what they're looking for.
They're not actually looking for justice for the victims, because if they were, they would
be deposing Larry Summers, right?
They would be deposing Leon Black.
They would depose all these people who have been resigning quietly behind the scenes because
their names were released in the Epstein files.
I think that tells you everything you need to know.
And then one more for you here.
Rokana had the gall to bring a victim who transformed into a perpetrator to the state of the union address.
You tell me, does that sound like someone who's really looking to get justice for victims or someone who's trying to take advantage of the political moment?
In his opening statements, the former president said, and I quote, I had no idea of the crimes that Epstein was committing.
No matter how many photos you show me, I have two things that at the end of the day,
matter more than your interpretation of those 20-year-old photos. I know what I saw, and more importantly,
what I didn't see. I know what I did, and more importantly, what I didn't do. I saw nothing,
and I did nothing wrong. His wife, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, answered questions,
as I said, for several hours yesterday, repeating several times that she never met Jeffrey Epstein,
although we know her husband, Bill, has. The former president appearing several times in the Epstein
files. Photos show him in the hot tub. We know he's flown on Epstein's private jet a number of times.
The Clinton said that that was because he was working on the Clinton Foundation along with
Epstein. The former president says that he cut ties with him two decades ago. And in those
opening statements, says it's really not right that Hillary was called here to be deposed
when she had no knowledge of having ever met Epstein and knew Gisland backspel very briefly and had only met
her a handful of time. Now here's the most brutal truth. Now here's the brutal truth about it all.
Anybody's saying they didn't know, they're clearly lying. They knew. They're not stupid.
They were aware. But it's always a calculation with people at that level. Essentially,
they never actually thought Jeffrey Epstein would really go to prison. I mean, he was already
saved the first time around. And this has turned into something they probably didn't anticipate.
Now, who communicated with Jeffrey Epstein after he was convicted?
Or should I say, who did it?
Donald J. Trump.
There's no record of him communicating with Jeffrey Epstein after he was convicted.
But there's plenty of records of a lot of other people out there, but they get no attention.
So I said, it's a double standard, selective outrage, and really a political attack against the president.
I'm not defending him.
I'm just trying to make sure people see the full picture of what's happening here.
And one more for you, since we're on this point of perception, let's go to this particular
reminder from Pat Fallon, a Texas congressman where he clearly exposes Hillary Clinton for the
liar that she is. Take a listen.
Yeah, Laura, they knew. Everybody in those circles knew that Maxwell and Epstein were
attached to the hip. So how the hell does she end up there? And then they're supposed to distance
themselves further. And they gave her an award in 2013 after Bill Clinton's body man and top
aide tried to distance and said, hey, staff, Clinton Foundation, don't ever have Maxwell in again,
and he reported right to bill. So who overruled him? I think it's either, the last name is probably
a Clinton. See, the UK, who is really no saint when it comes to free speech and really the justice
as far as the rule of law is concerned, in my opinion, even they found a way to arrest two people,
one of them being a member of the world family. Not on misconduct with a minor, but on sharing
information with Jeffrey Epstein.
The most difficult questions for Bill Clinton, first of all, are going to be about those
photographs we see.
They're in the Epstein files.
He's in a pool with Galane Maxwell.
There's a woman whose identity has been redacted.
He's going to be questioned, I believe, in nuance about those photographs.
What were you doing?
Who was there?
The other thing is the timing is important here.
The bulk of Bill Clinton's dealings with Jeffrey Epstein were the early 2000.
So post-Clinton's presidency, 0203 somewhere in there.
Now, that's before Jeffrey Epstein was.
first charged in Florida with what ended up being a plea to prostitution with a minor.
But it's also towards the end of the time when Epstein's crimes were still being committed.
So what did you see? What did you know?
There's no question that he knew about Jeffrey Epstein.
There's no question he became aware that Jeffrey Epstein was being investigated.
These people are read in.
And that's why I said.
I go back to earlier, they just didn't believe he would actually be held accountable.
I mean, that's just what power will do to people.
feel like they're untouchable.
So they tolerate it.
That's really what's going on here.
And I believe for Democrats, they don't want to talk about that because it's their own
members that were complicit in a lot of this.
The best thing for them to do is what they've always done since Donald J. Trump stepped
on the scene.
Blame it all on him.
He definitely deserves some criticism as far as the messaging, the handling, the DOJ, yes.
But don't act like he's the...
real problem here. Okay? The problem is the federal government for decades now allow Jeffrey
Epstein to be who he became. They let him get away Scott Free the first time. Then when he
finally is in prison, all of a sudden he's gone. Doesn't make sense to me. But at any rate,
that's my thoughts about what happened so far with Bill Clinton. Why don't you guys let me know
in the comments section what you think about both these stories today. Again, I just think that
these mayors are setting up a dangerous position for local
law enforcement to be in, especially when they believe they're going to interfere with a federal
law enforcement operation. You guys let me know if you see it the same way. And what is your
reaction to Bill Clinton being deposed? Give me your thoughts and everything you got in the comments
section below. All right, let's go to our next story involving Governor Westmore. This
story happens to be a prime example of what I was discussing in this video. Local law
enforcement are not on board with these type of policies that ban them from collaborating with
ICE. And that's exactly what happened with the local sheriffs. They call the governor out and more.
So if you guys are interested in that video, click on it because it's coming up right now.
