Starting point is 00:00:00 In two different areas of the country last, in two different areas of the country yesterday, we've had teen takeovers that have turned violent, leaving multiple people stabbed, and local authorities having to enforce a curfew that no one adheres to. But the question is, what is truly behind this epidemic? And also, Jeff Bezos set down for an interview and responded directly to AOC. Let's hear what happened in Rhode Island yesterday. Take a listen. Busy day in Rhode Island yesterday.
Starting point is 00:00:26 Between two beaches, three people got stabbed during a fight. a police officer got hit by a car driven by an alleged teen drunk driver. Now 11 people face charges for what they did. Take a look at Narragansett Town Beach as the fight broke out. The three people who were stabbed went to the hospital with minor injuries. Police arrested two adults for assault and other charges, but say they're still looking for the people responsible for the stabbings. Meanwhile, Dana, about 20 miles from here,
Starting point is 00:00:53 a group of 1,200 teens packed a nearby beach in Middletown, Rhode Island. The police chief tells Fox News, quote, two officers observed a male subject acting disorderly towards others in the group and quickly took him into custody. A second male subject then assaulted the officers, causing the crowd to become increasingly disorderly and aggressive while encircling the officers as they attempted to escort the two individuals off the beach. At least 19's face charges for that incident. Police say one of them admitted to driving drunk after hitting a police officer with his car while trying to drive off.
Starting point is 00:01:29 So it's obvious that we are continuing to have to talk about teen takeovers in America as they continue to get worse, in my opinion. And really, I just want to break down. Why is this happening? I've talked about this a few times now. Well, number one, it's the breakdown of the family. Number two, fathers are not present. And number three, the local politicians and law enforcement, they actually don't enforce the
Starting point is 00:01:54 law. If they were to lower the age down to 16. and prosecute people as adults, that could be one way that law enforcement or particularly the local city could enforce a law in a way that would, you know, discourage this type of behavior. But that's only going to do so much. This is behavior because of a lack of parenting. I'm going to talk more about that, but I want you guys to watch the clip of what actually took place in Long Branch, New Jersey.
Starting point is 00:02:21 Take a look at this. I don't even know what the hell is happening. Now, the reason why I said this is a breakdown of the family, because that is the root cause of the issue. When you don't have two parents in the household, enforcing education, constructive things that you can be involved in as a young teenager, you know where you're going to be?
Starting point is 00:03:35 You're going to be on the streets. You're going to be hanging around the wrong people, doing the wrong things, and you're going to get caught up in things like this. There's no doubt about it. And let's just set the record straight. It's no secret that in the black community, particularly in the ghetto areas of America, education is not high on the list.
Starting point is 00:03:52 This is what they're spending their time doing. So this is exactly what will happen. And the fascinating part is the change is pretty simple. Other cultures in America do not value things like this. Other cultures in America ensure their children from a young age, education is first. All right. Let's go to more information about how the police respond. Kurt, we are the only ones here on Ocean Avenue right now, aside from all the police that are here.
Starting point is 00:04:18 The curfew instituted by the Monmouth County Sheriff's Office began at 8 p.m. We can tell you there were fights breaking out and unruly behavior, many in the crowd teens. We're going to show you video for about 915 when we first arrived to the scene. Police, you will see, lined up with riot shields, forcing everyone off the boardwalk and the roads leading into it in Long Branch, specifically Pure Village. This is not the first time this has happened. We have reports from May 22 where a long branch curfew was issued at 9 p.m. And people ordered to leave early. Last year, a man shot and killed at a concert here in Peer Village.
Starting point is 00:04:53 It's not even a Memorial Day weekend yet. We know it doesn't look like a great beach forecast for the weekend ahead. We know the beaches today were absolutely packed all day up and down the shore. But things got out of hand on a school night to the point where the sheriff's office issued a curfew and ordered folks to leave. And the important point that I want to make is you have. can crack down all you want on curfews. You can make the sentences more strict. You can plus up the police officers. It won't stop the behavior. The behavior is programmed. It's learned behavior. It's in their subconscious mind from a very young age. A lot of these teenagers, this is what they were
Starting point is 00:05:32 exposed to. This is normal for them. This is not a shock. This is not a surprise. Especially if you take into account the music they listen to. So think about this. You are what you think about. You are the people you hang around and what you ultimately consume. Bottom line is you're a product of your own environment. So unless these kids change their environment, what they listen to, what they consume, who they hang around and what they focus on, this behavior will continue.
Starting point is 00:06:02 No doubt about it. That's right. We just got new information from police about those three victims that they found when they arrived on the scene. When we arrived on the scene, there was a very large. police presence on Boston Neck Road, which is just to my left. This area right behind me here was cornered off with caution tape. The police were here just under an hour ago. They were going through the area with gloves and collecting things from the scene. But take a look at this video that we obtained from a viewer. You can see a large group of what appears to be teenagers
Starting point is 00:06:31 physically fighting and yelling. Police say they located three victims with stab wounds. As you said, those victims received treatment on the scene and were transported to the local hospital with minor injuries. So imagine that. What did you do today? Well, I went down to the beach and got into a fight and was stabbed in the process. Sounds like a great day to me. See, this is what they look forward to. Not, hey, I was doing my apprenticeship or I was doing an internship or I was at the college,
Starting point is 00:07:03 educating myself. No, education is not a priority. Financial literacy is not a priority. I don't mind is the devil's workshop. Isn't that the quote? You see, a person's behavior is always dictated by what's in here. We do things based on habit. We're habitual creatures.
Starting point is 00:07:24 Most of the things you do every single day, you do them without thinking about it. They're doing this without thinking about it. That's when you confront them and you say, what are you doing? They're like, I don't know. Well, what do you mean you don't know? I don't know. You know why they don't know? because they don't think.
Starting point is 00:07:41 You know why they don't think? It's because what they're doing is acting from a place of habits. That's what I said. It's learned behavior. Now, how does a person change their habits? Well, first, they got to get new information. Then they got to really become obsessed with that information and act on it. You're not going to get obsessed about new information, how to change your life, if you're not dissatisfied.
Starting point is 00:08:03 You see, a lot of those people that you see in these clips, a lot of these teenagers, they're not dissatisfied. They are excited about this stuff. It's because this is the way they grew up. Look, parents have a fundamental responsibility to control their children. It's their children, not the government's children. And in the end, if parents do not step up and stand in the place of their children, then we're going to prosecute the parents and the children. And I can do it through truancy at schools and working with the chancellor of the schools.
Starting point is 00:08:36 I can do it with the family court. I'm talking to the local attorney general who was indicated that he will work with us. I can get it through the courts, person in needs of supervision. Who are their parents if they're already a court order requiring that they follow fundamental rules from the family court? I've got a lot of opportunities to go after these parents. And no one is going to stop me from doing that. As you guys may know, a lot continues to happen in the world, whether that is Iran, the stock market, a lot of unknowns. And so you've got to make the decision sooner rather than later to speak to the experts about gold and silver and how it could possibly be of value to you regarding your financial future, your savings, or your retirement plan.
Starting point is 00:09:21 By the way, noble gold investments helps Americans protect their savings with physical gold and silver shipped to your door or held in a tax advantage IRA. You can call them at 877-6-46-5-347 or scan the QR-R. code on the screen. Now, this sounds good. And I tip my head off to Janine Piro. It's exactly what we should expect from U.S. attorneys in our country. The problem is the district attorney may not actually prosecute. Okay. So that's the first thing. And here's the other thing. Again, they can be aggressive all they want. It's not going to stop the behavior. That's the unfortunate part. She's going to treat the symptoms because that's her position in all of this. She's down the road. Okay. The root cause is what's happening in the family. And by the way, parents can't just wake up and start being tough after
Starting point is 00:10:13 the young adult has turned 18. That doesn't work. If they weren't tough from the very beginning, it's not going to work today. You see, that's why parenting is so key in America. Hey, but we need to be our children's best friend. We need to give them participation trophies. In fact, here's another one. I'd rather have a kid than get married. You see, these are destructive ideas That has, in my opinion, has prevented people from actually being parents. The development of the child? Yeah, it's too late. So this is why when people complain about the system, it's like what Denzell Washington said.
Starting point is 00:10:54 If the system is as rigged as you say it is, why even allow my kids to even be exposed to the system? That's what happens when you don't have a father. But that's an aggressive United States attorney. You need aggressive district attorneys as well. You think New York, Alvin Bragg, is going to do something about the kids going crazy. They're not in Chicago. You think Fonnie in Atlanta is going to do something about the kids going crazy there? Absolutely not.
Starting point is 00:11:22 You think in D.C., outside, you know, the local attorney there is going to do something about it? Absolutely not. So it just can't be on the federal level that action is taking place, honestly. Yeah, I mean, think about it. what kept you out of trouble growing up, knowing you had, we were terrified of our father, what he would do to us and we got home. Yeah. So, I mean, where are the parents?
Starting point is 00:11:46 Okay. I think I answered the question about where the parents are. They don't even exist technically, okay? So that's number one. And number two, let's zoom in here. Where are these teen takeovers occurring? They're occurring in cities that are run by who? Black people.
Starting point is 00:12:03 Now, isn't it fasting that you'll hear Hakeem Jeffries and these blackety black black people say that the white man's coming to get us, that they're oppressing us, they're preventing black people from advancing. Seems to me that the black leaders are doing that. The black mayor of D.C. and the black police chief that were caught cooking the books regarding crime data, black people did that. Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson, school systems and shambles. people did that. You see, everywhere you go, you want to see this type of behavior, guaranteed, most of the time, it's black people running the show. So I don't want to hear it. If you can't even police up your own, don't go outside your home and start waving your finger at somebody else. But that's what they do. That's the currency. Blame someone else besides ourselves.
Starting point is 00:12:56 All right, let's go to our next update. Jeff Bezos sat down for an interview with CNBC. We're talking about the economy here in entrepreneurship. And this interview. And this interview was gold, in my opinion. And where we're going to start first is his reaction to AOC claiming that anyone who's earned a billion dollars in America, they did it unethically. Take a listen. When you read that, what do you think? Well, it's, it's not cracked on its face. Let me give you a simple example. Let's say you start a burger joint and you have 10 employees and you make a little bit of money, right? Until you have, this is this one, one outlet. And by the way, These are the most delicious burgers in the world.
Starting point is 00:13:35 People love your burgers, Andrew. And so then you open a second outlet. Right. And now you're making a little bit more money, and you have your 20 employees, and you open a third outlet. By the time you've opened a thousand outlets, you are a billionaire. Right. And by the way, this is a real life story. It happens all the time.
Starting point is 00:13:55 It's in and out burger. It's, you know, raisin canes, chicken. At what point did that money all of a sudden become? unethical or it didn't. There was one outlet, and then there were two, and then there were three. What you're doing, the way, the way you make a billion dollars or a hundred million dollars or ten million dollars or anything is you create a service that people love. And if millions of people choose your service, you're going to end up with a billion dollars.
Starting point is 00:14:24 Right. How many businesses were created because of Amazon? Now, one could criticize Amazon today because 50% of the businesses are no longer American. They're Chinese. So you can criticize them for that. But again, it goes back to my point from yesterday. A lot of people make the wrong arguments about what they disagree with. And when I say they, I'm talking about usually progressives, they're making the wrong arguments. The argument isn't Elon Musk is worth too much money or Elon Musk has earned his billions in an unethical way. The criticism should be, hey,
Starting point is 00:15:03 Why is Amazon allowing 50% of their clients to be Chinese? That's a legitimate argument that people could understand across the political spectrum. What people cannot understand across the political spectrum is saying that billionaires inherently earn their money in an unethical way. That doesn't make any sense. The other issue around on the tax front is whether people have great means at the very, very top end. And Elizabeth Warren has made this point repeatedly. I think she's made any reference to you and others. are able to pay a lower tax rate, even though you're paying an enormous sum in taxes,
Starting point is 00:15:38 a lower tax rate than maybe I am, for example. These people sometimes say that, you know, I don't pay taxes. That's true. I pay billions of dollars in taxes. And it's a perfect, again, if people want me to pay more billions, then let's have that debate. But don't pretend, you know, that that's going to solve the problem. You could double the taxes I pay, and it's not going to. going to help that teacher in Queens. I promise you. This is, so you can't connect those two things,
Starting point is 00:16:09 not logically. You know, there are more examples. Why is rent expensive? Why is rent so expensive? I recently saw somebody blamed it on Airbnb. Okay, Airbnb is not the cost of expensive rent. In fact, it's been almost, let me finish here one sec. It's already been outlawed in New York City, and rents are still very high. So we know Airbnb isn't causing high rents. What's really causing a high rent is government intervention. We subsidize demand with things like tax policy, which is fine. But at the same time, we constrain supply. We constrain supply with things like zoning and permitting.
Starting point is 00:16:50 Why does it take so long to get something permitted to build? If you want rents to come down, Econ 101, really simple, you need to, you can't sort of subsidized supply, I mean, sorry, subsidized demand and constrained supply. If you do, prices are going to skyrocket. It just makes too much sense. That's the problem with politics. Politics a lot is illogical. It doesn't follow logical principles.
Starting point is 00:17:20 I mean, supply and demand. We talk about this all the time. And we talked about New York City housing. The number one issue is that they refuse to build the housing that's needed. That's the bottom line to it. They won't do it. They don't want to build any more high rises that would house people in the outer areas in these different boroughs. They don't want to do that.
Starting point is 00:17:40 So as a result, they are constraining the supply. And as more people continue to live in New York City, thanks to illegal immigration, and, you know, people have been there their entire lives, so they're not going to leave. What happens? They can't afford it anymore. It's the same thing in California. California already has the gas they need, but they refuse to use it. They want to import oil. Now, why would someone do that?
Starting point is 00:18:07 It's because the government believes they know better. And now gas is stupid high in California. It'll always be high as long as they continue to maintain that policy. And then they've constrained the oil industry to the point where most of the refineries are gone. I think 30% are left at this point. So, yeah, it's, again, government gets in the way. But for the people out there who is trying to improve their economic reality or they want to make more money in this economy, where do you start? Well, step number one, you've got to understand what dictates the amount of money that you can earn.
Starting point is 00:18:45 It's the need for what you do, your ability to do it, and the difficulty there is in replacing you. Now, just imagine this concept. A waste management company that operates in your city, what problem are they solving? Is it a small one or big one? I'm sure you would agree that the waste management company who picks up your trash and recycle vans is solving a big problem. Without them, I mean, it would, it'd be crazy. Right. Now, their ability to do it. They have the trucks. They have the infrastructure. They have the employees. They're good to go. And the difficulty there isn't replacing them. You can't find a waste management company. There's only so many. They're very hard to replace. Costs a lot of money. That's why whoever owns the business is a millionaire. Now, let's zoom out and go somewhere else. A cashier at McDonald's drive-thru.
Starting point is 00:19:40 Are they solving a big problem? Not really. The person who's running that restaurant is solving a bigger problem. Someone's got to run it. What about the person who's in charge of 30 different McDonald's at one time? Yeah, they got bigger problems on their hands. They can find a cashier any day of the week, but you're not going to find a district manager tonight.
Starting point is 00:19:59 You see, we have to get these ideas. The problem is we don't learn them from a young age. And why is that? Well, the education system has failed us. That's as simple as I can make it. But if you can get the right information, you can do wonders for your life. So what Jeff Bezos is saying here is spot on. It's not the politicians.
Starting point is 00:20:21 It's not capitalism stopping people from becoming successful. These people earning billions of dollars is just another example of the abundance in our country. thank you to God. He put us here. And instead of living our lives in lack, we should be living our lives in abundance and seeing what's possible. And that's the fundamental difference between conservatives and progressives. Progressives see lack. Conservatives see abundance. And that's my mindset on this. So why don't you guys give me your thoughts about this video, whether it was the teen takeovers that are happening continuously here. It's a failure of the family. Let me know if you agree with that? And what did you make of this interview with Jeff Bezos and his response to AOC?
