Well, I tell you, I called Elon last night and he didn't answer, but I hope to talk to him today.
I mean, it's not, you know, it's very friendly, and we can, and we've laughed about our differences on policy before.
I'm not upset about this.
And I just, I think he understands, and he's acknowledged him before, that this is so serious that we can't fool around with it.
So the drama continues for Republicans after Elon Musk blasted the big, beautiful bill.
Also, Democrats are trying to capitalize on this moment, including they're looking to do.
ICE agents. We're going to get to all of this in this video. Let's hear what Mike Johnson had to say
when he spoke to President Trump about Elon Musk's 180. Take a listen. I've talked to President
Trump all the time, multiple times a day. Obviously, we've talked about this. As you know,
he's not delighted that Elon did a 180 on that. But look, I don't know what happened in 24
hours. Everybody can draw their own conclusions about that, okay? But I look forward to talking to my
friend about it again. And I'm not upset.
about it, all right? Yeah, so listen, reading between the lines, Speaker Johnson said he spoke with
Elon Musk on Monday, and they had a great conversation, and Elon Musk was somewhat supportive,
especially when it came to the midterms. Come Tuesday, Elon Musk put out that post and just started
slamming House Republicans. And now Speaker Johnson reached out to Elon Musk. He's not returning
his phone calls. And now the president is saying that he's not delighted by this 180 from
Elon Musk. So it begs the question, what is really in that bill that prompted Elon Musk to behave
this way? You think he's just going to do this for no reason? Well, according to mainstream media
and what the left wants you to believe, it's all about EV mandates. Let's hear Speaker Johnson
react to that. Take a listen.
EV mandates when we were talking about Musk's, is that what you think is good motivation
for a closing bill? Manu brought up EV mandates, not me, okay? And I said,
that everybody can draw their own conclusions about that. Look, I'm not, I don't, I don't subscribe
motive to anybody. I try not to do that. It's a good way to live. I, uh, I, uh, I just, I just believe that
we got to do the right thing, uh, by way of policy. And I hope everybody understands.
Here's what you need to know about EV mandates. It says it in the word. The federal
government does not need to be mandating and forcing people to adopt electric vehicles at the same time
banning gas vehicles. That's where the Biden administration went wrong. And what they should be
doing is replacing EV mandates with EV incentives. That right there is the right thing to do
because at the end of the day, there's a large amount of people in this country. I would say I'm one
of them that would love to invest into green alternatives, electric vehicles, solar panels,
because I do believe there's value there and I do believe they're worth it in the future.
But that doesn't mean I need to alienate the other side of the country that doesn't believe
in that stuff. They can have their gas vehicle and someone can have their electric vehicle
and we can all be happy.
Unfortunately for Speaker Johnson, though,
he did bring up EV mandates just yesterday.
This is the most amount of money
that any government has ever saved
on planet Earth in a piece of legislation.
Ever. It's a very important first start.
Elon is missing it, okay?
And it's not personal.
I know that the EB mandate,
very important to him,
that is going away because the government
should not be subsidizing these things.
It's part of the Green New Deal.
And I know that has an effect on his business
and I lament that.
Okay.
seems to me that Speaker Johnson forgot that he brought up EV mandates. And by the way, I'm supportive of
getting rid of them because, again, we don't need to ban gas vehicles, okay? I think that's going a little
too far because at the end of the day, people should have a choice because that's what this country
is all about. I mean, that's just a reality, okay? But more importantly, I think the better question
is who has the political cachet here? Who has the public support, Speaker Johnson or Elon Musk? Take a look.
Well, look, Elon Musk is a very popular guy amongst Republicans, a plus 63 net favorability rating,
beats Mike Johnson at plus 46, who of course is the speaker.
How about John Thune, the Republican leader in the Senate, only a plus 30?
So if Musk is taking on these two gentlemen, it's not a fair fight.
Elon Musk is a very popular dude, but he is nowhere close to where Donald Trump is within the Republican ranks.
Look at that, a plus 79 net favorability rating.
So if Donald Trump decides to turn his fire on Elon Musk, that is a fight that Elon Musk simply,
put cannot win. If Donald Trump stays out of it, he stands a pretty good chance Elon must
us against Johnson and Thune. That poll clearly confirms what we already know about people who are
on the right. I mean, Speaker Johnson and John Thune, I mean, these are not individuals we highly
respect because they haven't really accomplished anything, especially when you're talking about
in America First agenda. In fact, I would say they've been very passive in a lot of cases. And when
things got hard and we really needed a hard decision to happen in Congress, these people were
nowhere to be found.
They compromised.
So I'm not shocked by that.
We know who Elon Musk is.
We know his heart's in the right place.
We may argue with some of his tactics because they're unorthodox and they're outside the box,
of course, but that doesn't mean he's the bad player here.
It's Congress who's the bad player.
They've been the bad player, and quite frankly, they will continue to be the bad player.
Now, if you're listening to MSDNC, which I know you don't, but again, I show you both
sides, because I want to be fair here, you would think that Elon Musk and Donald Trump are going to
war. Take a listen. Chris Matthews, you've seen a lot go on on Capitol Hill across the years,
but I want to ask you about one specific element of this latest flap between Elon Musk and
the president of the United States. Given the president's nature and past behavior, are you
struck by the fact that Elon Musk gets a hall pass for insulting the presidency and the bill
the president supports and is it because Elon Musk has the largest wallet but i'm telling you
it's an amazing break for the president to have his best buddy who's been out there with his kid
sitting on his shoulders and they're in the in the oval office and he's come in and dumps all
over the president's a big beautiful bill there he is i mean it's his best buddy but they're
putting the trash out of them they started putting the trash out of last night if you notice
all that stuff you went through of all the reasons why he's doing this they all love
small. Now you may be wondering, DeVore, why are you showing me clips from MSDNC? Because I need you to know
exactly what all sides are saying. This is what they're focusing on. They're looking to act like
children who are in high school, you know, gossiping, making up stuff. That's exactly what you just
heard there. Okay. Now, people who are great friends with each other can disagree all day long.
We know that's a real thing in life. It's called reality. Okay. Now, the other reality that I think is
facing Republicans as it pertains to the spending cuts that conservatives definitely want and that
people voted for is that according to CNN, Republicans don't really care about cutting spending
if it means they're going to get tax cuts in the end. Take a look. Republican voters, they don't
care. They don't care. I mean, look, cut taxes, even if the deficit increases, you know,
you go back 33 years ago, it was just 22 percent who said cut taxes, even if the deficit
increases, but the party of fiscal responsibility is no more. Now, 74% of Republicans say
cut taxes, even if deficit increases. So if Donald Trump, more popular than any of us
sticks his neck out, the Republican voters will absolutely be with them because they believe
cut taxes, even if deficit increases quite different than the way they were in the early
1990s. So according to CNN, Republicans could care less about the deficit if they're getting
tax cuts in the end. And just look at what President Trump just posted. I am very pleased to
announce that after all these years, I agree with Senator Elizabeth Warren on something.
The debt limit should be entirely scrapped to prevent an economic catastrophe.
It is too devastating to be put in the hands of political people that may want to use it
despite the horrendous effect it could have on our country and indirectly, even the world.
As to Senator Warren's second statement on the $4 trillion, I like that also, but it would have to
be done over a period of time as short as possible.
Let's get together Republican and Democrat and do this.
Now, he's responding to a post that she put up.
here that stated that President Trump and I agree the debt limit should be scrapped to prevent an
economic catastrophe. Let's pass a bipartisan bill and get rid of it forever. But jacking up the
debt limit by $4 trillion to fund more tax rates for billionaires is an outrage. Now, I'm not
looking to insult your intelligence, but just so we're all clear here, the debt selling is essentially
the government's credit limit, okay? And so they have to raise the credit limit so they can borrow
more money to pay for the outrageous spending that continues to increase. Now, as you saw,
in those polls, Republicans could care less as long as they're getting tax cuts. And you know why
that is? Is because we have yet to see the catastrophe and the consequence of the deficit and the
debt selling. Now, according to Democrats, they have a similar issue. They keep pushing doom and
gloom, but it's not becoming a reality. Listen to what Chuck Schumer had to say about the bill
today. Take a listen. And we all know one thing. Donald Trump is just lying about the bill.
lying about the bill well here's the we are all going to die act all right so before we go to our
next story let's have a quick word from today's sponsor american financing now if you missed it
the fair chair jerome powell held a press conference today and he announced no rate cuts so what does
that mean for people like you and me well if you're carrying around credit card debt their chances
are you're paying 25% or more so even if you're making your minimum payments you're still
behind. That's why my friends at American financing are helping people just like you
save an average of $800 a month by tapping into your home equity without upfront fees
and zero pressure. And it costs you nothing to find out how much you can save, by the way.
And if you act now, you may be able to skip up to two mortgage payments. So all you have to do
is call 1-866-890-932. Again, that's 866-890932 or go to Americanfinancing.net
or click the link in the description below.
All right, now we're on to our next story.
Democrats are threatening to docks ice agents because they're wearing mask.
Here it for yourself.
Every single ice agent who's engaged in this aggressive overreach and I'm trying to hide
their identities from the American people will be unsuccessful in doing that.
This is America.
This is not the Soviet Union.
the iron curtain. This is not the 1930s. And every single one of them, no matter what it takes,
no matter how long it takes, will of course be identified. Okay, so there's two sides to this
entire situation, all right? One side believes that ICE agents should not be wearing masks or
concilling their identities. Now, I believe they only believe that because of political rhetoric
and not necessarily something called reality. And the other side, which is reality,
these ICE agents have been facing threats to their life, including their family members.
People show up at their houses, et cetera.
So do they have a right to protect their identity?
Of course they do.
And they're not the only ones in law enforcement who do that.
So it's interesting that this is becoming a bigger story and a talking point from the left.
Now, here is Congressman Goldman making the same threat.
Take a listen.
And I asked them, I said to them, what are you, what is the point here?
Are you just trying to tally more arrests?
I didn't get any real response.
And then I said to them, why are you wearing masks?
I was a federal prosecutor for 10 years.
I worked with ICE agents.
I worked with law enforcement agents.
I never saw any of them wear masks.
This is brand new.
And the question is, if everything is legitimate and proper, why are you wearing masks to hide your face?
There we go again.
Democrats lied by telling the truth.
In the sentence, he says something that is true.
There are federal authorities historically that do not wear masks, but then he packages the entire
point in a misleading and blatantly false way.
What is that?
These ICE officials are wearing masks for one reason and one reason only.
They are going after illegal aliens who have ties to the cartel.
You don't think the cartel can just pick up the phone and have their family murdered?
But for Democrats, this is a game, right?
they really love illegal aliens more than they love American citizens.
This is just another example of that.
And they're looking for anything that they can do to discredit what President Trump is doing,
even if it is the right thing to do, especially when you're talking about somebody's safety.
Now, what's interesting is I'm not the only one to bring this up.
Take a listen to this.
So how about this guy, this Democrat, he doesn't think it's appropriate for ICE agents to wear masks.
Isn't that to disguise themselves because they're dealing with cartels?
I can tell you I live in a very rough neighborhood and we've had people come in and arrest in my neighborhood gang members and they all had to wear masks because anybody who knows anything about the Mexican gangs that take just one example knows that they have contacts in the United States and outside the United States in prison and out and they can identify somebody and call on a cell phone and that person's family.
family will be in danger. And it's a very strange logic that we have radical Palestinian,
pro-Palestinian, pro-Hamas, pro-terrorist students that the universities are trying, are letting
to wear masks, and yet they object to people who are trying to save their families and enforcing
the law at the same time. It's a nihilistic. I've never seen anything like it. It's the hatred
of Trump is irrational, and the people who are expressing are neolithic. They really are. There's nothing
Maybe the ICE agents should just tell the congressman they have COVID and they want to stop the spread.
Then they'll be allowed to let their masks stay on.
Yeah, that's exactly the logic for Democrats, right?
Okay, so on to other breaking news, Jerome Powell, as I stated earlier when I mentioned American financing.
He held the press conference today announcing that there would be no rate cuts.
Let's hear it.
Good afternoon.
My colleagues and I remain squarely focused on achieving our dual mandate.
goals of maximum employment and stable prices for the benefit of the American people.
Despite heightened uncertainty, the economy is still in a solid position.
The unemployment rate remains low, and the labor market is at or near maximum employment.
Inflation has come down a great deal, but has been running somewhat above our 2 percent
longer run objective.
In support of our goals, today the Federal Open Market Committee decided to leave our policy
interest rate unchanged.
The risks of higher unemployment and higher inflation appear to have risen, and we believe that
the current stance of monetary policy leaves us well positioned to respond in a timely way
to potential economic developments.
Yeah, I don't know about you, but I get the impression that Jerome Powell literally repeats
the same thing every time he steps in front of a mic, especially when he has to talk about
rate cuts.
Now, President Trump said this earlier this morning, ADP number out.
Too late Powell must now lower the rate.
He is unbelievable.
Europe has lowered nine times.
Now, there's two big things for me that I believe that frustrates the president the most.
Number one, listen, the more that Jerome Powell refuses to cut rates, the harder it is for the American citizen to borrow money.
I just showed you guys in that American financing ad.
It's a real thing.
Credit card interest rates are sky high.
Car loans are sky high and trying to borrow money to get a house.
Oh, good luck on that.
I mean, you can have good credit and still get denied.
So it's a problem.
And there was another report that came out today that also is frustrating the president because
according to ADP, the private sector job growth has declined. And that's why they are reporting that
private sector hiring rose by just 37,000 in May, the lowest in more than two years, ADP says.
A little bit more information here. Private payrolls increased just 37,000 in May, below the 60,000
in April, and the Dow Jones forecast for 110,000. Bottom line, it was the lowest monthly job total
from the ADB count since March of 2023.
However, good news here.
Regarding wages, annual pay grew at a 4.5% rate
for those remaining in their positions
and 7% for job changers,
both little change from April.
Grand scheme of things,
the economy is continuing to grow and resilient.
The bad news, though, is Jerome Powell
does not want to cut rates.
Now, here's what Fox News had to say about this.
Last hour, you had a jobs number that came out,
and it was, I wouldn't use the word poultry.
But it was well under the estimate.
And then Trump went to true social and said, lower the rates now, Jerome Powell.
That's right.
And for the month, we saw 37,000 jobs created, according to ADP.
And that was way lower than the estimate, which was 115,000.
That's why President Trump wants the Fed chief to cut interest rates as soon as possible.
And, you know, we don't know if this is political or if it's not political and why he won't cut rates right now.
But so far, we are looking at growth.
And even if you see the estimates for the second half, we're still talking about growth.
But they range.
So the OECD yesterday cut their global growth number, including the United States.
They're looking at growth for all of 2025 of 1.6%.
Not great.
However, the Atlanta Federal Reserve right now is talking about growth of 4.6% for the second quarter.
That would be huge.
You know, I mean, Kevin Hassett from the White House told me that he would not be surprised to see the second half grow between 3 and 4%.
So the growth numbers are certainly there.
We are expecting growth, that's good.
But depending on who you talk to, and it has a lot to do with policy, it has a lot to do with
the bill getting passed.
Now, to be fair, there are a lot of experts here economically that believe rate cuts are
not necessary at this moment.
And it's not just about tariffs.
Just all of the metrics does not scream that rate cuts should happen.
However, politically, President Trump wants rate cuts for good reason.
But the problem that he has is that a lot of the decisions he's made
has created uncertainty. And the, I would say, sensitivity to that uncertainty is definitely impacted by
people's Trump derangement syndrome, because people don't like President Trump, especially in D.C.,
we know that. The Fed chair does not respect President Trump. The establishment does not
respect President Trump people. They are not going to do anything to help this man. We know that
to be true already. Now, we know Jerome Powell cut rates under Joe Biden under different circumstances,
according to his language, but you could argue that the circumstances was worse.
So at the end of the day, should rate cuts happen?
Well, I guess it depends on who you ask.
People like me, frankly, non-college educated, normal people who work a job and have been
waiting for someone to bet on us for too long.
In fact, the only reason this economy hasn't exploded even more right now is because
Jerome Powell won't lower interest rates, which is why Trump is waging a war on our bond
market right now. Again, trust the cook. Trump is trying to break the bond market by forcing
money out of there and into the stock market and other investments. And the way he's doing that
is just securing these $7 or $8 trillion. Think about that. Seven to $8 trillion of investments
Trump is bringing in from other countries and making it more profitable to have your money
invested in economic generation rather than government-sponsored bond yields.
That is exactly spot on. So President Trump is a
populist president. So he's looking to pass things in his agenda that benefit the American citizens
but don't necessarily benefit the federal government, if you know what I mean. And that's why I want to
get your guys this reaction in the comment section below. So what's your takeaway in regards to
this whole Elon Musk versus House Republican situation? Whose side are you on? Elon Musk or House
Republicans? And what about the poll from CNN that showed that Republicans want tax cuts,
even if that means that the deficit is going to go up? And let's not forget about Democrats looking
to Doc's ICE agents. I mean, that is just ridiculous. But let me know what you guys think about that
and everything else in the comment section below. Now, I think part of the reason why Democrats want
to Doc's ICE agents is because they have a mental health crisis. And we talked about that
yesterday in a video where it showed that the mental health rating for liberals versus conservatives
is a stark difference. If you miss out on that story and more from yesterday, all you have to do
is click on that video because it's coming up right now.
You know,
Oh,
