When WestJet first took flight in 1996, the vibes were a bit different.
People thought denim on denim was peak fashion, inline skates were everywhere,
and two out of three women rocked, the Rachel.
While those things stayed in the 90s, one thing that hasn't is that fuzzy feeling you get
when WestJet welcomes you on board.
Here's to WestJetting since 96.
Travel back in time with us and actually travel with us at westjet.com slash 30 years.
In today's video on breaking news, the Iranian Intel Chief who tried to assassinate President Trump,
He's been eliminated.
A TSA is doubling down on the idea of shutting down airports,
and Senator Mark Wayne Mullen absolutely destroyed Ram Paul in front of the nation.
But first, let's hear what's happening with this Iranian intel chief.
Take a listen.
Does the White House believe that he was responsible for assassination attempts on President Trump?
Well, I won't comment on that intelligence bill,
but certainly this was a known terrorist.
And U.S. intelligence combined with Israeli intelligence,
our great partners in this effort is the best in the world.
And of course, this man is no longer with us here on Earth.
And that's a good thing for the United States.
And it's a good thing for the American people who have long been threatened by this rogue terrorist regime.
We're now on day 18 of this operation and some updated numbers for you from CENTCOM this morning.
We've now actually struck more than 7,800 targets.
More than 120 Iranian naval ships are at the bottom of the ocean, have been sunk.
our great military. So the objectives of Operation Epic Fury have been clear from day one, and the
sheer lethality and power of the U.S. armed forces is on display every single day as they
continue to meet these objectives and obliterate the rogue Iranian regime and their ability
to threaten the United States of America, our allies, and the Middle East.
But there are still questions that remain. Question one would be, if that's all true,
why is this regime continuing to launch more ballistic missiles towards the UAE 2.5 more times than they have against Israel, by the way.
How do they still have that capability after all this firepower, right? I think that is a legitimate question.
Now, I think the answer is pretty simple. I mean, I think it's just going to take as long as it's going to take. I don't know how long that might be.
Now, the second question is, where the hell is the new Supreme Leader? I mean, we still don't have confirmation that he's even alive.
Does he even exist?
We know he's gay, but we still haven't seen a video or a picture or anything like that.
So I'd love to know what's going on there.
And of course, they dropped some what they call bunker bombs near the Strait of Hermuz
to knock out this capability from this Iranian regime to keep firing at targets in the Strait of Hermuz.
So that happened yesterday.
So sounds like they're making progress.
But again, the pushback from Democrats continues to be the same.
They don't know what the president's doing.
We don't know what's going on with this.
There's no plan in place, et cetera, et cetera, here for yourself.
What is your understanding based on your briefings of what our policy is going to be on that
now that NATO has effectively said you're on your own?
Well, all of this underscores, Casey, the fact that there's been no plan.
There was no debate about this.
There were no briefings about this.
There was no plan.
Donald Trump, a couple of weeks ago,
just decided to start a war because he wanted to. Without any imminent threat, without any debate,
without any accountability in Congress, without any votes of the Americans duly representatives
in this capital. And here we are. Now we're trying to figure out the path forward. How do we get
the straight open, which has a sizable amount of American energy that passes through it? How do we get
the gas prices under control? How do we stop spending $2 billion a day in munitions? How do we actually
protect our service members. Probably the thing I'm most concerned about right now is that we have
50,000 American service members. These are my constituent sons and daughters, brothers and sisters
who are over there. And I'm not sure we actually have the air defense capability and the
interceptors and the munitions to protect them over the long run. All right. Let me see how I can
articulate this without getting upset. Now this man, this representative, Jason Crow, he's scum.
Okay. Disrespectful to the men and women in uniform.
First, he implies that the men and women in our armed forces, they don't know what they're doing.
They're just winging this entire operation.
I made this point previously.
When he comes out in front of a camera and says, there's no plan.
That implies that the Department of War has never game this out.
There's been no mock training, no sessions, no thought groups, whatever.
None of that actually happened.
He's served.
He knows exactly what he's doing right now.
He's blatantly lying here.
There's no doubt that they've had scenario after scenario gamed out on this.
This is gamed out before the president took the White House.
It will continue to be gamed out when he leaves.
No doubt about it.
And then secondly, they say, oh, well, we don't have the military capability to protect 50,000 troops in that area.
I mean, first, you're disrespecting men and women's intelligence in the armed forces.
Now you're disrespecting our military capability.
We don't spend a trillion dollars for the Department of Ward that in the end we say we don't have the ability to protect 50,000 troops in that area.
Come on, give me a break.
Of course we do.
Now, in case anybody's wondering, because this is happening in real time, D&I, Tulsi Gabbard, testified on Capitol Hill in front of senators today about worldwide threats, particularly Iran.
I want you to listen to this question from John Cornyn.
Watch.
The head of the National Counterterrorism Center resigned saying, saying,
that Iran did not represent an imminent threat to the United States. Is there anything to indicate
that Iran had ceased in its nuclear ambitions or in its desire to continue to build ballistic
missiles capable of threatening American troops and allies in the Middle East?
Senator, no, in fact, intelligence reflects the contrary.
So you disagree with Mr. Kent?
I do.
I would think any fair-minded assessment of the situation, even based on open sources, would reflect the danger Iran poses, the regime poses to the United States.
Okay, so that was the CIA director, Ratcliffe.
He just flat out says what he believes, which is that Joe Kent is absolutely wrong.
We already know that Joe Kent was not a part of any intelligence briefings in respect to this conflict in this country of Iran.
Now, there's a legitimate question.
Why did you guys keep him in this administration if he wasn't even going to be a part of the briefings?
Why would the guy who's in charge of counterintelligence, right?
I mean, you would think he'd be in these briefings.
Okay.
Anyways, so he wasn't in the briefing.
So obviously, whatever he's saying, there's some credibility loss there.
Let's go back to opposing view.
Now, this is another Democrat claiming that the president has no idea.
idea what he's doing here. I don't know. How do you describe something that makes no sense at all?
The bottom line of this is that the president jumped into this war without following the
Constitution, explaining to Congress what it's all about getting the authorization from Congress
to conduct the war. Had he done that, maybe there would be some certainty as to what the goal is here.
But frankly, the goal is changing morning tonight and the next day it's yet another goal.
Right now, I have no idea of what it, what it's, what?
that statement's all about except he's upset that the rest of the world doesn't want to go to war
with him and i can understand that because it's not all clear what he wants to do it's not about that
the fact of the matter is the president could bully these allies regarding tariffs but he can't
do that same strategy with the strata her moose that's number one number two how many countries
right now really love Israel. Just think about that for a second. Israel's got a problem.
And so you've got the president in a sense, and I think he's realizing this, by the way,
he could get away with bullying these countries on tariffs because there's leverage there.
What leverage does he truly hold regarding the country of Iran and the Strait of Hermuz?
He doesn't have any leverage, really. All right. And so if you just take a step back and see
that for what it is, you could see why there's no willingness for them to do anything. They don't
have to do anything essentially.
All right, let's go to Bill O'Reilly.
I think you kind of made the same point. Watch.
They don't care in general, the EU and NATO, about what Iran does or what their potential
for violence is.
And the reason they don't care is they don't like Israel.
Cross the board in Europe.
Israel's got no friends there.
None.
Now you can go back in history.
You can do anti-Semitism.
I don't know exactly.
why that is, but it's there, it has been there for thousands of years.
And that is part of the equation.
But they're weak.
Collectively speaking, Europe is a very weak continent.
Asia much stronger than me.
But the Asians aren't stepping up either.
So the USA is alone in dismantling Iran, along with Israel, of course, but pretty much
alone. And that is not a good situation. So I think it's fair to say that the math just isn't adding up
anymore, especially for families out there who are using high interest credit cards to cover
expenses from groceries to insurance premiums. In fact, if you look at the interest rates for credit
cars, they're in the 20s and even 30s. That means homeowners are being buried with high interest
debt. That's why I want to tell you guys to reach out to my friend's American financing.
given the fact that mortgage rates are at an all-time low, they can help homeowners refinance that debt
into interest rates that are in the low fives. And they're on record for saving their customers an average of $800 a month.
Plus, if you start today, you may be able to delay your next two mortgage payments.
There are no upfront fees, no obligation to find out how much you can save.
America's home for home loans is American financing. Call them 866-89093.000.
That number again is 866890932 or go to Americanfinancing.net 4 slash devour.
Where are you guys at on this?
Do you understand what the goal is here regarding Iran?
Do you believe the president is correct in his decision to do this?
Do you think this is overdue?
Or are you the person who believes none of this is good?
This is all a sham.
It's based on a manufactured lie from the president himself.
Let me know where you're at with all.
of it just put it in the chat please uh or the comment section all right next story tsa we're back
at it again every single day we're bringing this up because it continues to be an issue every single
day so here's the latest update because of the situation atlanta airport officials are urging
passengers to show up at the airport at least three hours before their scheduled flights and
many passengers that we spoke with this morning say they're actually giving it four hours just
to be safe the airport airport blaming the long tsa lines on staffing constraints
due to the partial government shutdown.
Some passengers looking for shorter lines ended up creating bottlenecks elsewhere.
There was a rumor floating around that the international terminal was better, so everyone kind of like gathered here.
On social media transportation secretary Sean Duffy posted, TSA workers are patriots,
and many of them have no choice but to get additional jobs because Democrats are refusing to make sure they get paid.
But Senator Patty Murray posted, reminder,
Democrats tried six times to fund the parts of DHS that Congress agrees on, like paying TSA workers, FEMA and cyber defense.
Republicans blocked us every single time.
As the partisan finger-pointing continues, TSA workers are going without paychecks.
Union leaders say some TSA employees are delaying medical treatments and struggling to put food on the table.
This is not a partisan issue.
TSA employees do not cause this shutdown.
they are bearing the burden of congressional inaction.
Yeah, so as the days go on of this shutdown, you're starting to see more and more TSA employees
appear on Fox News and CNN to tell their stories about why this is negatively impacting what they do.
You also have some who are sounding the alarm on how big of a threat this is to public safety as far as
traveling is concerned.
And then the ultimate threat is just shutting down the airports.
I mean, again, I'm more of a radical on this particular situation.
I would actually gain leverage and force the hand of Congress and just shut the airport down.
Then they'll really do their job.
I mean, again, they've done a number on the American people as far as propaganda is concerned.
They have made us believe we don't possess any power.
We absolutely do.
We absolutely do.
And if TSA did something like that, I think not only would it piss Congress off and whip them into action,
But I think it would prevent them from doing this again because they know what TSA has, essentially TSA has woken up and they're willing to force their hand, if that makes sense.
All right.
Let's go to this official.
He's essentially lashing out.
The people that have the responsibility of bringing this to an end can do it today.
Okay.
What they need to do is, you know, leave their eagles at the door, get inside, and come up with a,
solution to the problem because we don't deserve this as TSA agents that are trying to keep the skies
safe, but also the traveling public doesn't deserve this. And when you see people in lines with
their children for three, four hours, trying to go somewhere, and then they can't get there because
the cruise ship has left because their flight was delayed. Explain that, try to explain that to a six-year-old,
seven-year-old about what's going on. But again, remember, day one of this shutdown,
Democrats did not care about any of that.
They only now sound like they care today
because it's their constituents calling their phone number, right?
The pressure is mounting.
So now they've had to switch up the messaging.
We talked a little bit about this yesterday
where it went from no dollar to DHS whatsoever to,
yeah, we'll fund TSA.
It's interesting to me.
Now, I think the best summary,
as far as a moral one is concerned about this,
comes from Greta on Newsmax.
Here's what she said.
Can you tell me how members of the U.S. House and Senate, in good conscience, can accept their
own paychecks while they're not paying the starving TSA?
I couldn't accept a paycheck like that, could you?
It's bad enough that Congress's failure to fund TSA as inconveniencing travelers, some missing
flights through to hours-long TSA lines, and it's bad enough that Congress's failure is increasing
the risk that dangerous people or dangerous items made.
slip through the strain and exhausted TSA who do show up for work and then end up on the plane
where something horrible could happen. But what about just old-fashioned decency? Decency
towards the members of the TSA. Doesn't Congress care? Doesn't Congress care that they are getting
their paychecks themselves, but TSA is not? I don't get it. I don't know how Congress let TSA
workers not get paid. Yeah, see, for all these agitators and these protesters who are trying to
stick up for the Iranian regime in Venezuela and Palestine, Black Lives Matter, and illegal aliens.
Where are you at now? I think you'd be protesting against this too, right? I mean, don't federal
workers, aren't they a part of the mission of democracy? And these are innocent people who have
families who are just trying to get by? Why are you guys not on Capitol Hill protesting this?
Yeah, it's interesting. You see, it's always selective outrage with these people. Lack of
consistency, of course. The only thing they're consistent in is being inconsistent with their
positions politically. But okay. Yeah, I mean, there's not much else to say about all of this,
except the fact that the TSA deputy administrator is still doubling down on the idea that these
airports could get shut down. So he was on Fox News yesterday saying that. Now he's on scene and saying
that today again. Watch. You suggested that if there is no political solution soon, that you might have to
shut airports down all together. What's the time frame on that? When? So I was very specific.
I said May. For particular airports, particularly small ones, and I don't want to get into
particular hypotheticals. We make these determinations on an airport by airport basis,
but the reality is right now, like majority of Americans that are paycheck to paycheck,
as the weeks continue, you know, our TSA officers, as long as they don't get paid,
they're going to continue to call out. They can't afford to come in.
And they're going to quit altogether.
And that's a serious concern.
And that's going to continue to impact us staffing airports across the United States.
We saw this morning, of course, Philadelphia had to collapse lanes because of calls.
So the reality of the situation is this is going to get worse before it gets better if we don't see any sort of action from Congress.
Yep, it sure is.
Now, let's go to our next update here.
This is a big one.
So Senator Mark Wayne Mullen is testifying in his confirmation hearing today.
one of the statements had something to do with TSA.
I'll play that first,
and then we'll get into his scuffle between him and Senator Rand Paul,
I guess, who was trying to take the moral high ground over him.
And then in the end, Mullen taught him a great lesson about leadership.
Let's play this clip for Mullen first regarding TSA.
Take a listen.
This political theater sometimes is true differences.
But what we do know is that we're playing with fire.
We have 280,000 day-ins employees right now that are on day-season employees right now that are on day,
30 without pay and they're still showing up every single day to do their job. That is a dedicated
group of people. And we should all be proud of and we should all be working together and we should
all be trying to fund them. So I pray seriously, I pray that we can get past this. Now that tone and
that delivery is what continued to happen throughout this hearing today from the senator. I thought he
He did a great job.
I thought he showed how vulnerable he could be.
And at the same time, he showed humility.
He was willing to admit some statements he made in the past that he thought were wrong now.
He said verbatim that he actually regretted some of the statements he made, particularly about Alex Preti.
And that takes a certain type of individual who's willing to admit out loud in our political landscape that they were wrong.
Now, again, this is why I believe he's a better fit for this position than Chrissy Knoem because he already has a certain level of rapport with lawmakers on both sides of the aisle that Chris Knoem never had.
It doesn't take anything away from her.
But the bottom line is I think he's a great replacement given the fact that he was willing to admit some past statements that he made that were wrong.
Now, speaking of those statements, let's get into this.
I want you to listen to the way Senator Rand Paul attacks Moland. Take a listen.
The record should show, and I think we'll show, a lack of contrition, no apology and no regrets.
For your support, you completely understand the violence that was perpetrated on me.
You're unrepentant. The only thing you quibble about is whether I met you somehow when you were in the house.
I don't think we ever met when you were in the house.
And this idea that the only thing you're upset about is not that you were for violence.
What you're upset about is that I called you a liar because you said it to my face
which really more about this machismo that you have.
When in Oklahoma the media ask you about the refugee welfare programs, the programs you voted to continue funding,
it was this whole idea that you were going to transfer it because you were uncomfortable,
your anger, low impulse control, you know, causes you to then go after and decide that you're
going to go after me as well.
Well, political differences we can.
But when you say that you agree with a felon, a Trump-hating felon who attacked me,
somehow you think I'm just going to set that aside?
Oh, it's no big deal.
So my first impression of Senator Rand Paul in this hearing led me to believe that if it was Jesus Christ
testifying this morning to be confirmed as the next secretary of DHS, he wouldn't vote for him either.
I mean, this is a man who clearly is so selfish, so butt hurt, still hanging on like a female
who holds a grudge for a decade, at least,
is making this hearing all about this past situation
between him and Mullen,
that it distracts from the whole point of why he's there, right?
It's to get DHS back in a leadership position
that is strong to move this agency forward.
No, it's about his personal beef with Mullen.
It's shameful.
It's shameful.
And so it just shows you that these people in Congress
are human beings too.
they have feelings. And clearly, Rand Paul is butt hurt still today of his beef.
They've never gotten along according to history.
So bottom line is the way Senator Mullen responded, I think, was appropriate. Take a listen.
I think before I can start my opening statement, I have to address the remarks as a chairman made,
calling me a liar.
Sir, I think there's everybody in this room knows that I'm very blunt and direct to the point.
And if I have something to say, I'll say it directly to your face.
If you recall back in my house days, we actually did have this conversation.
because of remarks that I've made.
You were in a room.
I simply addressed that I said I could understand
because of the behavior you were having
that I can understand why the neighbor did what he did.
But if I do have something to say,
everybody in this room knows I'll come straight to you.
I'll say it publicly and I'll say it privately,
but I'll never say it behind your back.
So for you to say, I'm a liar, sir, that's not accurate.
And I got proof to say that
because you have spent millions of dollars in my campaigns against me,
because we just don't get along.
However, sir, that doesn't keep me at all from doing my job.
I can have different opinions with everybody in this room,
but as Secretary of Homeland, I'll be protecting everybody,
including Kentucky as much as I will my own backguard in Oklahoma.
It's bigger than the partisan bickering that we have.
It's bigger than the political differences we have.
The truth is, I have a job to do,
and I don't like to fail at anything at all.
So I can set it aside if you're willing to set it aside.
Let me earn your respect.
Let me earn the job.
Getting ready for a game means being ready for anything,
like packing a spare stick.
I like to be prepared.
That's why I remember 988, Canada's suicide crisis helpline.
It's good to know, just in case.
Anyone can call or text for free confidential support from a train responder anytime.
9-88 suicide crisis helpline is funded by the government in Canada.
Yeah, you just can't beat that type of statement.
You see, he did a power move and taught Senator Rand Paul lesson.
Senator Rand Paul is more emotional in his feelings, holding on to this beef,
whatever this problem was in the past, i.e., the past, instead of focusing on the now and the future.
And we're not talking about something where Senator Mark Mullen violated his oath or defrauded taxpayers or cheat on his wife and beat her up.
No, we're just talking about a personal beak between them over rhetoric.
All right.
And so this next clip actually backs up my impression of this overall
because here is Alex Pready doing something that I don't think anyone in this current administration, might I add to you,
has done on anything, which is to publicly state I was wrong about this particular statement
about this particular situation.
Watch.
If you are confirmed as secretary, would you be basically,
Well, you did. You responded to Secretary Nome.
Are we going to just expect that same behavior all over again?
No, Senator. I have a deep amount of respect for you.
We've had our differences, but I do respect you.
I think I said this privately when we had a conversation.
Those words probably should have been retracted.
I shouldn't have said that, and as Secretary, I wouldn't.
The investigation is ongoing.
And there is, like I said, there's sometimes going to make a mistake, and I own it.
That one, I went out there too fast.
I was responding immediately without the facts.
Without the facts, that's my fault.
That won't happen as Secretary.
So you regret that statement?
I already said that.
Yes, sir.
Would you want to apologize to the family of Alex Pretty?
Well, sir, I just said I regret those statements.
Is that the same as an apology?
I haven't seen the investigation.
We'll let the investigation go through.
And if I'm proven wrong, then I will absolutely.
That's tough to do.
In today's politics, that is tough to do.
Now, obviously, I think he's doing it because he knows exactly what's going to make these people vote yesterday.
on him and he's willing to play that game. Whether he believes in that or not, I don't know the man
like that. I'm not in the room with him. But this is the way that I see it. And I guess it's the way
that I see it. It's because that's what I would do. I think my personality, I'm more likely to take
his route of things, which is like, I'll just say I'm wrong. Because if I jump ahead and I say it,
you can't throw that back in my face because I've already admitted I was wrong. Right? It's like
watching 8 Mile with M&M, Mr. B. Rabbit on stage.
where his whole line of attack was attacking himself first.
Once you do that, the enemy can't really say anything at that point.
You've taken all of their power away.
My experience with you has been consistent kindness and professionalism.
You know, the first time I met, it was you and your wife behind you
when I was here at the orientation here in the Senate.
And even before you got the call for the big job, you know,
we were even discussing about getting together and having dinner as family.
So that's an ongoing relationship.
because that's also part of the fact here in this town.
You've got to get along and find a way to work together.
And that's why Mark Wayne Mullen has a good chance of being confirmed
because he has that level of rapport on both sides of the aisle.
Let's get your guys' takeaways in the comments section below.
First, to this Iranian intel chief being eliminated by the IDF,
this guy tried to assassinate the president.
Where are you at overall on this conflict?
Secondly, what do you make of TSA, the deputy?
Again, doubling down on the idea that they may shut down airports.
And what did you think about the performance of Mark Wayne Mullen
during his confirmation hearing.
Give me all your thoughts and everything you got in the comments section below.
All right.
Next video is the Virginia governor who's made a critical mistake.
She's allowing criminal legal aliens to enroll in our high schools and assault children.
Yes, you heard me correctly.
If you guys missed it on that update and more, click on the video because it's coming up right now.
