James Tyler Rico's interview with Fox News did not go very well because he essentially abandoned what his own voters want. Take a look. And what about biological men competing in women's sports? That's a big deal here in Texas. That's right. And I oppose trans athletes playing in girls' sports if it endangers safety or fairness. Every sport has to be safe and fair. As a former public school teacher, I care a lot about our student athletes.

I care a lot about our students. And so I will oppose trans athletes playing in girls' sports. if it risks safety or fairness. Well, I mean, across the nation, there are athletes in high school, even middle school, who argue that their safety has been compromised, which is why this has been a nationwide cultural war, sort of speak, when really it shouldn't even be a debate because we have thousands of years to prove that, you know, men and women are different, especially as it relates to athletics.

I don't need to explain that to you. I'm sure you already know. But I guess it begs the question, why is Tyler, Rico switching up on all of his positions. During the 2021 hearing, you said there are six biological sexes. Do you still believe that standing here to me right now? No, I've missed the mark on some of my past statements. I will be the first to admit it.

What I meant is that there are two sexes and then there's a small percentage of people with genetic abnormalities. I obviously didn't say it correctly. There are not six sexes. There are two. And I think the reason that politicians in that convention center across the street, want to talk about six sexes is because they don't want to talk about six-dollar diesel. Everywhere I go across the state of Texas, people are struggling to survive in this economy.

They are struggling to afford the basics, groceries, gas, utilities, health care. And that's what I'm going to be focused on from now until election. So just to nail it down here standing with me, you can confidently say there are two sexes, a man and a woman. Absolutely. Yeah, I mean, listen, if you're an individual who says that there are six biological sexes, I mean, that sounds like a definitive statement, something you truly believe in, And now that he's in serious consideration to potentially become the next senator of Texas, he's got to clean it up. I mean, that's really what's happening here. I see through it. I'm sure you see through it.

I hope all Texans see through it because we're talking about people's record and why they can't be trusted as a politician, a representative that's going to be in the Senate, to do right by Texas. Where in Tyler Rico's record does it show that? I'm missing it unless you guys can show it to me. And by the way, he's absolutely contradicting what his own voters won. The people who represent his brand of politics, they do want boys and girls sports, okay? They do believe there's more than six biological sexes. So it's going to be really interesting. What's going to happen after this interview? Will they throw him under the bus and start attacking James Tyler Rico like they did with Hakim Jeffries?

You know what? I'm interested to see what happens. Response be to voters who listen to this and they say, you know, he had this stance. this seems like a drastic 180 from what we've heard from him in the past. Is he just trying to get our vote? And then once he governs, he's going to govern as a progressive. I would look at my legislative history. You shouldn't believe anything a politician says, whether it's me or Ken Paxton,

you should look at what we've done. And if you look at Ken Paxton's history, he has spent his entire career enriching himself on the public's dime. Since taking office, he has increased his net worth by 7,000 percent. Yeah, see, that's the difference between James Talleyko and Ken Paxton. what have they done in office exactly that benefited their constituents. I'm not too sure there's anything that James Talley Rico can actually point to. There's a lot that you can point to in regards to Ken Paxton.

I mean, that's not even my opinion. I mean, this is reported facts. And again, if you're from Texas and you know more than me on this, please leave it in the comment section for people to read for themselves. But more importantly, if you really want to find out about a person, and all you have to do is look at the people that surrounds them. So James Tyler Rico, if you're thinking about the pastor of his church, here's what he said on the record in regards to what their members wanted. If you polled our membership and asked them whether they were Christian, agnostic, or atheists,

the vast majority would say agnostic or atheist. because they don't buy the religion that has been that we invent, but that we got from the Puritans. We still have people in this church that wish that that young man had not just Nicky's ear, but been more successful. Yeah, so again, going back to the logic that James Tilariko wants us to use and the point that he made, blah, blah, blah, yeah, let's go back to what James Tilarico wants us to do, judge a politician by what they do.

So what he's been doing is a 10. attending a church that's made up of atheists, made up of individuals who believe that it would have been a great thing for the president to be assassinated. This is who we're dealing with, folks. It's really sad to hear that. And it's coming from a church of all places. And what I find to be interesting is his other interview with CBS News, where he started to cry about the AI ad that Ken Paxson put out about him and how he's truly been weaponizing,

in my opinion, the scriptures from the Bible for his own political gain. Take a look. You're blanketing the airwaves with television ads. The Paxton team or associated groups are starting to do so as well. And he's released one that uses AI imagery of you and your past public statements. What do you make of the use of AI, first of all, in a political way? I mean, this is consistent with Ken Paxton's record of lying to the people of Texas. And now he's lying to the people of Texas using artificial intelligence to put words in my mouth.

And I think Texans are tired. statements you've made, it's just they're being personified in a different way. Well, and not all of those statements. I mean, this is the issue is when you look at this ad, they are using AI in order to mislead the people of this state. Yeah, so I ask

you guys, do you think that ad, that President Trump dropped of James Tyler Rico and the ad from Ken Paxon as well? Do you find the AI that was a part of those ads to be misleading? Do you think it has manipulated your opinion of James Tyler Rico? And do you think it

will manipulate other people who maybe are just showing up to the scene in regards to this election race. Let me know your thoughts in the comments section below. So that takes us to our next update, which is also bad news. And this time, it's for Abdul El-Sahid. I think his campaign's over for a multitude of reasons. Black voters, which I will show you a poll of. And there's new devastating ad that just dropped.

Take a look. Apparently, a plane has just crashed into the World Trade Center. Oh, my goodness. Oh, God. There's another one. Good Lord. There are no words. What are those people going to do?

All right, come in. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. I'm in. 25 years ago, America was attacked. Not for something we did, but for who we are.

The attackers tried to divide us with hatred. It had the opposite effect. We united with courage and with resolve. But the hatred behind 9-11 did not disappear. America deserved 9-11, dude. I hate America so much. Abdul El-Sayed gives comfort to that hatred. He campaigns with it.

He accepts money from it. And he justifies it. You know, that's what happens when you campaign with someone who's anti-American like Hamas Piker. I think everybody knows exactly what's going on there. He's truly friends with him, which is why he refuses to condemn any of his past statements. He was more than willing to campaign with him, bring him around, act as if they're best friends. And now that he's trying to win, he's got to throw him in the trash. but that's not going to work. People have not forgotten about it. So that's Exhibit A and Exhibit B

is what this poll shows. So what may be keeping this race so close if that is the reality and people are hungry for change? Well, it might be ideology, Casey. 50 percent, half of likely voters in Michigan say El-Said is too liberal. That is more than the voters who say 42 percent of likely the Michigan voters who say that Rogers is too conservative. So that may be something that El Cyan has to navigate through if he is to be successful in this race case. Okay. I mean, when 50% of voters say you're too liberal, I think that's a problem for the state of Michigan. Now, I'm not from Michigan, but I'd like to think that the last thing that they would want is to go down the road of socialism, which is why you have state Democrats who've been in politics in that state for quite some time campaigning on behalf of Mike Rogers. I find that to be an interesting dynamic.

So if Exhibit B didn't do it for you, maybe Exhibit C will do it for you. Take a look. Casey, you noted the top line numbers here. Again, this is a razor thin race. 47% of likely voters supporting Abdul Al-Sayed in our poll, 44% for the Republican Mike Rogers. I realize this number is higher than this number, but this is the number that really matters here.

4.1% margin of error. This is within it. There is no clear leader in this race. You look at the demographic breakdowns here. Again, we see Rogers, the Republican, performing a bit better with male voters. El-Sayed, the Democrat, a bit better with female voters. They're running really close together among white voters,

so that may be a good sign for El-Said. Among black voters, obviously the Democrat has a huge advantage among black voters in Michigan, but is it a big enough advantage because he's going to need big black turnout if indeed he's going to be successful as a Democrat in Michigan. And again, you see the age divide here, younger voters overwhelmingly advantage for El-Syed,

Rogers, a slight edge with older voters. So when you're only getting, according to the poll, 67, in regards to the black boat in Michigan, you know you are underperforming. And that's the problem with Abdul. He's always been underwater. If you compare him to his socialist colleagues around the country who's also running for Congress in this upcoming election. So again, I've already told you guys his campaign is in trouble. A lot of self-inflicted wounds.

His important relationship with Hamas Piker, I think, is what truly did. him in. And so we will continue to cover it because I want to see the downfall. I don't think he has any business serving in Congress if I had it my way. All right. So let's talk about the GOP convention that's happening today. And tomorrow, here's what the president just told the press pool. So we're heading over to Dallas. I think we're going to have a tremendous proud tonight sold out. Looks very big. It looks very exciting. And we're going to explain what we done. We've done things that have never been done in the first term or the second term, frankly, of a president. The economy is very strong. The investment in our country is the biggest in the history

of any country, not just our country. We have factories being built all over the world right now, and it's very exciting to see. Yeah. So there's no doubt that this midterm convention is going to be a busy one. It takes a bit... bit of time to actually get into the arena because my team and I, my producer and I earlier, we went over there and it was a process to save the lease. And it's because they're treating it like a true convention. This isn't a rally. This is a true convention. So it's just a entirely different setup. But let's just focus on the reality here. Republicans have a couple of things going for them. Democrats are bad shit crazy. They've given the American people no reason to vote for

them. And also, Republicans are responsible for tax cuts and lower drug costs and no tax on tips and Social Security. But the overall problem with all of that is the Iran war clearly has overshadowed a lot of these good policies. Now, speaking of the Iran war, here's what the president had to say about that. Mr. President, we're going to find out. I think the war is going to end immediately after the election. I think the war will end immediately after the election. Because they can't hold out any longer.

They're desperate to try and affect the election so that we can get a nice, weak group of people in there and leave them alone and let them have their nuclear weapon. All they want is a nuclear weapon. And if they had a nuclear weapon, the whole world is in deep trouble. Yeah, you see, this is the trade-off in regards to being engaged in a war. the media is only going to want to talk about that.

It's the one item that's going to get a lot of attention. And it's the one item that on both sides of the political spectrum are very sensitive to. I mean, if you think about what happened with Iraq and Afghanistan, people literally have war derangement syndrome at this point. Okay. And that's saying some of the criticisms aren't warranted, but I'm saying we are ultra-sensitive. And the fact that he has admitted that this is going to go past the midterms, I think that's only going to people who support him are not going to have a problem with that. People who don't are going to get even more upset, if that makes sense. But I think it comes down to the fundamental question here. Will the Iran War be the reason that the Republicans lose the midterms if they do lose?

Or will it not actually have the impact that Mainstream Media would want us to believe? Now, and speaking of that, Main Street Media has invented a new hoax as it relates to this convention. Some Republicans are not showing up, and they think it's a crisis. Take a look. are not coming to the convention. Do you understand why they're deciding not to come? Everybody that's, everybody is coming to the convention. Everybody wants to come, but we only want, and the people that are coming,

by the way, we're going to be sold out tonight, just so you understand. Who are you with? ABC News, sir. ABC fake news, is one of the worst. You are the worst of all, in my opinion. The reason that some people are not coming is because we don't have room for 500 politicians. We have room for the ones that have a close race. if they're slightly behind or slightly ahead or tied.

So for an example, one of those individuals would be Susan Collins. I mean, why would she actually attend this convention is a great question. I'm not too sure why she would because what is the purpose of the convention? The purpose is for the president to do the Republican Party's job, which is to motivate people to show up, start getting enthusiastic about the midterms, and vote for all Republican candidates. So what would Susan Collins have to do with all of that? I'm not too sure.

And so, yeah, I don't have a problem with that, but for some reason, main sharing media is obsessed with it. Let me give you an example. Let's look at a list of who's going to be there and who's not. Because those who are attending and speaking include Senator John Hustead of Ohio. He's in a tough race against Sherrod Brown. Michael Watley from North Carolina, likely or he's got an uphill battle against Roy Cooper. Mike Collins of Georgia, Mike Rogers from Michigan. That's a tight one.

Ken Paxson of Texas. Attending but not speaking, the candidates in Iowa and Roger Marshall is the incumbent senator from Kansas. Not going. John Sununu, New Hampshire, Dan Sullivan, Alaska, and Senator Susan Collins of Maine, New Hampshire being kind of a sleeper one for Republicans that they'd like to have be on the map here in November. Yeah.

So the reason why I call this the new hoax from mainstream media is because this has been the dominating rhetoric of today. I mean, over the past 24 hours, you know. This is going to be a failed convention. Certain Republicans are not attending. You know, what is going on? You know, you know what's fascinating about all this? It's not as if one of these Republican candidates has publicly refused the endorsement of the president.

We see how some Democrat socialist candidates have absolutely outright rejected Kamala Harris. Even rejected her fundraising email. I mean, this is not even in the same planet, okay? I think I explained why I wouldn't expect John Sununu or Susan Collins, for that matter, to be present. I wish they would be, but it kind of makes sense that they wouldn't be. I mean, Susan Collins voted for the impeachment of President Trump. I hope you guys understand that. So it kind of makes sense to me.

But here's more perspective this time from MSDNC. To a number of people in the lead up to the convention today, our colleague Jake Traylor and I, who said that behind closed doors, behind the scenes, the operation, the R&C, all of the outside expenditures and the outside groups that are trying to help these candidates move along and navigate this pretty challenging situation, right, of needing the Trump base and needing the war chest and the deep pockets of the president, but also trying to create a little bit of distance and run as individual candidates and not be dragged down by the president's approval rating. Yeah, so notice how they frame it as they don't want to be dragged down by the president's approval rating when the president has a 97% endorsement record, 97% of the candidates go on to win their elections. By the way, if there's any politician in modern time who can absolutely get people to get out and vote, especially low propensity voters, it's President

Trump. It's something that the Republican Party has failed to do time and time again. They don't know how to get voters out there, okay, or to turn out people to come and vote for them. So they absolutely need President Trump. I would argue more than President Trump needs them. And I think that's the point that Nancy Mace was making on News Nation. Take a listen. I think both parties are a dumpster fire headed into the midterms right now. And so for each Democrat and Republican alike, it's going to be about turnout. And nobody can win. without the president's supporters turning out, meaning MAGA has to show about the polls in November, which is why this midterm convention is so important to President Trump, so important to Republican candidates across the country. It's about motivating and energizing the base, and that's MAGA. And so I think you'll see that come through in November for candidates that win. Yeah, and that is the bottom line to it all. I keep reminding people that Democrats approve a rating is the lowest in all of politics,

followed by Republicans and then the president. It's the president who's been able to get people to become interested and enthused again. I mean, that's just his particular ability, especially, obviously, with this movement called MAGA. So he obviously has something the Republican Party doesn't have, and so they definitely need his support, no doubt about it. And this hoax for mainstream media just shows you how desperate they are.
