Starting point is 00:00:00 In today's video, we have breaking news, starting with the one big beautiful bill. It is projected to pass today, even though Hakeem Jeffries has been speaking for the past seven hours. And also, the June jobs report has been released. Experts are dumbfounded, and Trump is right again. We're going to show you both of these stories and then give you the bottom line. Let's get right to the breaking news out of Washington. A major legislative victory appears with. within reach for the Trump administration.
Starting point is 00:00:32 House Republicans believe they have the votes to push the president's sweeping agenda, which he has dubbed the one big, beautiful bill, across the finish line. But before they can hold that final vote, top House Democrat, Hakeem Jeffries, has to stop talking. For just over six hours now,
Starting point is 00:00:49 Jeffreys has been using the unlimited speaking time that's granted to House leadership to continue railing against this bill. This bill this one big, ugly bill, this reckless Republican budget, this disgusting abomination, it's not about improving the quality of life of the American people. It will hurt everyday Americans. All right, so bottom line up front, Hakeem Jeffries is just the lane.
Starting point is 00:01:22 And he has the ability to do it because it's called the Magic Minute. This gives the top party leaders on both sides. Yeah. So the bottom line is, Hakeem Jeffries is delaying as long as he practically can. It's called The Magic Minute. It gives him the authority because he is the leader of the Democrats and Mike Johnson has this same authority where they can speak as long as they like. In fact, Kevin McCarthy holds the record at eight hours, 32 minutes. Nancy Pelosi comes in at number two, eight hours and seven minutes. So maybe Hakeem Jeffries will break the record. But you know what? It doesn't matter at the end of the day because the one big, beautiful bill will pass. He's
Starting point is 00:01:58 not going to speak for the next 24 hours. Okay. Now, here's a little bit more explanation from Hakeem Jeffries on why he wants to do this. Take a look. I feel the obligation, Mr. Speaker, to stand on this House floor and take my sweet time to tell the stories of the American people. And that's exactly what I intend to do. Take my sweet time On behalf of the American people On behalf of their health care On behalf of their Medicaid
Starting point is 00:02:34 On behalf of their nutritional assistance Okay, so I know you guys don't like to listen to Hakim Jeffries I get it But we're always going to show you what both sides are saying Even when it's ridiculous and delusional He has all of this energy And outcry for these stories that he wants to share in order to delay this vote, but where was that same energy for people who have been negatively impacted
Starting point is 00:02:58 by criminal illegal aliens? You're not going to find it. And I know that is what aboutism, but we're going to bring it up, including the hypocritical statement from Mr. Jeffries himself, where he said that filibustering, meaning you were continued to speak in order to delay a vote, is dripping in racist history. Take a listen. That is why it's essential, it's important, it's necessary with the fierce urgency of now to pass the Joe Manchin Freedom to Vote Act and the John Robert Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act by any means necessary, including reforming a filibuster rule that is dripping in racist history, in defense of slavery
Starting point is 00:03:51 and Jim Crowe. These people, they contradict themselves for days. They are human beings in the end. We know. But I just find it funny when Republicans do it is racist, but when they do it, it's totally fine, right? All right. Now, before we move even further, if you guys have been getting value from our

Starting point is 00:04:32 little bit more about what's been happening especially early this morning and what the president's been up to take a listen according to sources that spoke to our sister publication the hill here at the white house president donald trump was literally on the phone late into the night and into the early morning hours talking to some of these Republicans with concerns over the one big, beautiful bill, trying to get this plan over the finish line. This president Trump has been posting the truth social, imploring Republicans to vote for this, saying that this should be an easy vote for them moving forward. He also took a swipe at some Republicans raising concerns, writing, what are you trying to prove? Maga is not happy, and it's costing you votes. But this all came
Starting point is 00:05:13 after meetings inside the White House on Wednesday between President Trump and some House Republicans worried about things like the spending cuts tied to the one big, beautiful bill, maybe not going far enough in their minds, others raising concerns about slashes to Medicaid and raising the national deficit. Okay, so here's the vice president doing what he is so great at, especially over the past few months, and that is trolling the political moment. He says this, GOP congressman just texted me. I was undecided on the bill, but then I watch Akie.
Starting point is 00:05:43 Jeffrey's performance and now I'm a firm yes. I mean, that is just, that's just great, right? Now let's get to something more serious and the overall picture that you need to be crystal clear on because remember, this show is about helping you think for yourself. On the Republican side, they're not innocent. President Trump said no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, and no tax on Social Security. But what did Republicans do? They turned that into deductions. Deductions that have caps on them. So technically, it's still a great deal for the working class, people who are only making $150,000 or less. Yes, that is true. But that's not exactly what the president said. And then for Democrats, what do they really have? They have nothing, except more hyperbole,
Starting point is 00:06:32 more fear-mongering about Medicaid cuts. You want to see another example of that? Take a look at this clip. John, this is just a shocking degree of caving to President Trump. By Republican House members who just in the last few days were saying how awful this bill will be for their home states. And it will be awful. $900 billion is being taken out of Medicaid. That means that millions of Americans will be thrown off of health care. Between the Medicaid cuts and the ACA cuts, 17 million Americans. And those just aren't numbers, John. Those are newborn babies. Those are Americans fighting addiction. Those are disabled Americans. Those are seniors in nursing homes. I spoke to a close friend who's a doctor at one of our nation's leading
Starting point is 00:07:19 children's hospitals. 40% of his patients their care is paid for by Medicaid. I met with 30 nurses from Delaware last week. They came to Washington because their patients can't. And they begged me to fight against this bill that will close hospitals and that will end health care for millions of vulnerable Americans, all so that President Trump can deliver a big tax cut and extended tax cut to his billionaire donors. All right. So, you know, they start making their case, but then it goes in the trash when they say billionaire donors.
Starting point is 00:07:56 If anybody's received the most money when it came to donors, especially billionaires, it was Democrats. I just find that funny. That's why you saw that clip Govara with Joe Rogan and Bernie Sanders when he he was trying to make that same argument, and Joe Rogan's like, how much money did Kamala Harris receive? Much more than Donald Trump. More billionaires signed up and supported Kamala Harris than Donald Trump. So again, it's a bad argument, but if you don't think for yourself, right, you don't do your research, and you're not really politically aware, you would believe
Starting point is 00:08:31 what he just said. And that's the sad reality in our country. Now, here's what Scott Besson had a say in response to Hakeem Jeffries in this entire clown show. Take a listen. What do you make of Hakeem Jeffries at the podium for more than an hour trying to discredit this bill right now? Well, Maria, I'm not going to take firefighting advice from an arsonist. The Democrats had the majorities. They blew out the budget.
Starting point is 00:08:58 They had tons of wasteful spending, and we inherited a mess. And under President Trump's leadership, along with some, Speaker Johnson, Leader Thune, we are going to get the economy humming again via the private sector. This is a Main Street Working America bill. It is going to address the affordability crisis. We are going to increase working people's wages. And, you know, the Democratic Party a president doesn't stand for anything. They're just against everything. And let's see where the economy is this time next year. I think this bill over the next year, we are going to see growth like we have not seen.
Starting point is 00:09:44 And importantly, it is going to be non-inflationary growth, which is something that Democrats couldn't do. And that actually brings us to our next story, which is once again proving that President Trump was right. And I feel like I've done this, what, I think four months in a row now. Every time the economists and the experts and mainstream media say that tariffs is going to send our country into a recession, that jobs are going to be lost, and that it's going to be an Armageddon with our economy, the numbers keep contradicting those statements. And that's what we have today with the new jobs report from June. Take a look. You expected some of this, but this is better than expected? Yeah, Sarah, it is.
Starting point is 00:10:28 Look, this jobs market is like the energizer bunny. Every single time we expect it to run out of steam, it just keeps going and going. So these new numbers show that the U.S. economy added 147,000 jobs in June. That was well ahead of the expectation of about 118,000, well ahead of some whispers that we heard on Wall Street of a sub 100,000 number. So this is indeed beating expectations. We were also expecting a slowdown. We did not get that. This is basically in line with May, which was revised higher.
Starting point is 00:11:00 It's also good news. employment rate was expected to go up, it didn't, it went down to 4.1%. That is a very healthy number. This is still relatively historically low. And again, it's below the 4.3% that we had expected. So in other words, President Trump once again is proven to be right. And at a minimum, Democrats have been proven to be wrong. However, there is someone who's challenging this report. And what's interesting, mainstream media is not buying this announcement from ADP, even though ADP has published it on their website. They're saying that actually the jobs have gone down by 33,000. There has not been an increase in jobs from the month of June.
Starting point is 00:11:42 Now, some people argue ADP could be more accurate because they have access to payroll data. Some people believe they're not as accurate. I guess we're just going to have to make up our own mind and truly see over the next six months how many revisions happen. And just as a reminder, if you look back last year under Joe Biden, a lot of the job numbers ended up being revised down, not up. So only time will tell. But at least I wanted to show you guys the other story. Now, let's get to something entertaining.
Starting point is 00:12:11 CNN, they just can't believe that this is happening to them. And they have to admit that tariffs is not all doom and gloom. Take a look. Again, since, you know, March and before, there were predictions that the tariffs, And granted, a lot of them had pulled back, most of them had pulled back, but all that tariff policy was going to lead perhaps to inflation, would lead to job losses, predictions of doom, that doom just hasn't happened yet. When you look at the headline numbers, 147,000 jobs added, there's no denying that this
Starting point is 00:12:41 is a very resilient labor market economy. And I've spoken to so many economists since Liberation Day who have said to me time and time again that despite the southern numbers we've seen in previous months, they said, Zane, wait till June. June, you will see that. We'll start to see the impact in the hard data of the sort of wavering tariff policy. That's not happening. It's just not happening.
Starting point is 00:12:59 And the reason why it's not happening is because just maybe the people in the Trump administration probably know what they're doing. And they have their ear to the streets. We saw a couple of pivots from President Trump over the past six months. We know that he's not going to just run this country off of a cliff because he's stubborn. And we've seen that. So for them to continue to push this idea that, you know, this is going to be Armageddon and millions of jobs are going to be lost, it's just totally unfounded at this point.
Starting point is 00:13:32 Now, just to have a little smile and have some fun with this, here is Elizabeth Pocahontas Warren just months ago saying this. Take a look. Comes in and basically starts the dumbest trade war in the history of this country. This is going to be about potentially millions of people losing their jobs. It's going to be about millions of people losing their savings, many of people losing their retirement security, and at the same time taking on even higher costs for everything they buy. So that's going to push us in potentially to foreclosures or people being pushed out of their
Starting point is 00:14:14 apartments. You know, I remember this from 2008 and how long it took us to dig our work. way out. And to this day, there are families, there are communities that still haven't recovered. Recessions can be all those fancy charts and graphs, but at the end of the day, people feel them one person at a time and they can be devastating. All right. Well, number one, Pocahontas is clearly lying through her teeth. No question. Okay. We have not lost millions of jobs. People are not being kicked out of their apartments. And this is not 2008, which leads me to number two.
Starting point is 00:14:54 The fact that she's trying to compare tariffs to 2008 just shows you how much she thinks you're stupid. I mean, that's what the impression is I get from politicians, especially Democrats. I mean, the way they speak, they're already assuming you won't do your research, which brings me to number three. That's why I show you what both sides are saying, because I'm telling you, you'll probably have people in your life that believe exactly what Elizabeth is saying here. And it's just totally false.
Starting point is 00:15:20 And I want to make sure you guys are educated on what the facts really are. And that brings us to one of the big questions that continues, I think, to deliver the same answer every month is, will the Fed lower interest rates? And based on this report, the answer is a resounding no. Take a listen. Pretty solid number. I think, as you said, better than expected. I think better than most folks in the market had expected. but it creates a very interesting conversation about what President Trump, for example,
Starting point is 00:15:51 would ultimately say right now to a Jay Powell, who of course runs the Federal Reserve just overnight if you saw you had the president saying that Jay Powell should be resigning from his role because he should be lowering interest rates. This morning, I think this jobs number would give Jay Powell the upper hand to say, look, the reason I'm not lowering interest rates is the economy actually continues. continues to be quite good, which is something you'd think that the president would enjoy and like. So some kind of interesting cross currents to think about. But nonetheless, I think the chance right now of interest rates going lower anytime soon, taken off the table a bit this morning as a function of these jobs numbers.
Starting point is 00:16:34 Yeah, that is an interesting dynamic, as I stated. And it's really a conundrum. And the reason, again, why President Trump wants the rates to be lowered is because that means when they, go to refinance the interest on our debt, they're going to get a nice rate. But the problem is the economy has been resilient. So Mr. Powell, also known as Too Late Powell, is not going to move an inch. Now, one more update for you here. This is just coming in moments ago from Hakeem Jeffries himself. I think he sounds like he's going to pass out. I mean, you let me know if you feel the same way. Take a listen to this clip. Still got a little more.
Starting point is 00:17:15 time Donald Trump's deadline may be independent state. That ain't my deadline. You know why? Mr. Speaker, we don't work for Donald Trump. We work for the American people. That's why we're right here now on the floor of the House of Representatives standing up for the American people. people. But everyday Americans for hardworking American taxpayers fighting hard.
Starting point is 00:17:52 Okay, I told you guys, this is like a reality TV show. So here's one more clip for you. Now, I guess, as you know, we don't like listening to Hakeem Jeffrey. So I do appreciate your guys' patience. I don't think some of his members like listening to him either because there was a member fallen asleep during his speech. Take a look at this. Members of House Democratic leadership, thankful. For the leaders of every single committee, it's been battling hard to push back against the cruelty that is in this one big ugly bill. Thankful for the leadership of Richie Neal. Thankful for the leadership of Frank Pallone.
Starting point is 00:18:35 Thankful for the leadership of Brendan Boyle. Thankful for the leadership of Angie Craig. All right. That is just gold. I mean, multiple people are falling asleep. I thought it was just one of them. Anyway, hopefully that got you a little laugh this morning. But overall, I want to get you guys' opinion in the comments section below because here's
Starting point is 00:18:53 the bottom line. The one big, beautiful bill will pass as it is. The House did not make any changes to the amendments that were put into this bill by the Senate. This bill will make it to the deaths of President Trump, and he's going to be able to celebrate this on July 4th, also known as No King's Day. all right and the other thing about the June jobs report clearly this was a big story but what's even a bigger story is that the May jobs report was revised not down but up and economists and the
Starting point is 00:19:25 experts are now dumbfounded because they don't understand what's going on here they keep thinking tariffs is going to send this country off of a cliff and it just hasn't happened as you guys know the S&P 500 has hit all time high records and this economy is not slowing down down. So no matter which side of the aisle you stand on, no matter what you believe to be true, the results are what they are. And that is, our economy is continuing to thrive and President Trump is still on a role. So let me know your opinion about all these stories in the comments section below. Now, yesterday there was more disturbing news. This time it's coming from a federal judge once again, who did not get the memo from the Supreme Court, I suppose, who has ruled
Starting point is 00:20:07 against President Trump claiming that President Trump has exceeded his authority by banning asylum claims. And what's interesting, we're going to show you the law, including one that was from 2018 from the Supreme Court. And I think you'll be shocked by what the real problem is here. So if you're interested in that video, all you have to do is click on it because it's coming up right now.
