They're going to show up to the hospital and they're going to need services. But the problem is, is we have an influx of illegal aliens flooding the system. And because, people, I guess, have fatal empathy at the state legislator in California, including the governor, they don't mind kicking out the money for all of that. The problem is the math doesn't add up, as you can see here on the screen. California is facing a multi-billion dollar budget deficit,

partly driven by surging Medi-Cal costs, which account for roughly 40% of the state budget and 20% of general fund spending in FY2027. To project that $3 billion deficit is linked to rising health care spending, federal funding reductions, and the need to cover 14.8 million Medicaid enrollees. And that's why the question was very smart that they asked because essentially, who's going to pay for it?
