All right, last night was a dumpster fire in regards to the debate for who's going to become the next mayor of Los Angeles. Karen Bass and Nithia Rahman both humiliated themselves. It even led to people walking out and having some harsh words for the mayor. Take a listen. And on tonight's debate, so much so that a live stream froze and it got hot inside very fast. A heated showdown in the L.A. mayor mayor of Karen Bass and councilwoman Nithia Raman squaring off in the first debate ahead of November's runoff. People can't work with you. You can't manage your committee, but yet you want to manage the city.

Mayor Bass has had nearly four years as the CEO of Los Angeles. We are living in the results of her leadership. More than 500 people packing the Sherman Oaks Adult Center, others chanting outside less than 80 days before the election. I do not want people sleeping on the streets. Guess what that takes work. That takes action. That takes leadership. The main topic discussed, homelessness.

In my council district, we beg and pray. plea for the county to show up, and they do sometimes. No, no, no, no, sorry. I'm so sorry. No, no, no, no, no. Freeway that we removed an encampment on the, wait a minute, now it's my turn. Yikes. As you guys know, you can, or you can tell in those clips that there's definitely

tension in that room. The second, the debate shifted from policy to personal attacks. I mean, that's how, you know, these things work out. And Karen Bass essentially focused on. on Rahman being absent in regards to a lot of votes, especially for her district. And Rahman focused more on how the mayor was absent during the most important times in regards to Los Angeles. Well, I'll give you an example, obviously, the Pacific Palisades fire.

Anyways, things really spiraled out of control just moments later. What do I mean by that? Well, the moderator confronted Rahman over. her record. Watch this guys. This is this is crazy. I know this is an issue that is the most complex in our society. I don't expect you to say by next week it's going to be resolved and but the thing is we can't even agree on who's done what and what the numbers are and who has the best approach and that's why people feel feel the disconnect because you're not listening to what they're saying. Right. They don't want them. Thank you. And there are none in my district.

Your district, but we're talking about to see what. All right. This is. This is a going to be a debate on just on homeless we're going to move on to Larry's way I just we want to respond to one thing that she said very quickly yes because homelessness actually went up citywide right in the rest of the city because we all have so much conflict with in the loss account it doesn't matter those are the numbers that we have those are the numbers that we have it went up 8% citywide and it went down in my district inside safe is a citywide program that's why you're running for mayor it can't go up across the entire city and the mayor's not to blame for and go down in my district, but the mayor can take credit for it.

It doesn't make sense. The math does not add up. The math does not add up. I don't know why she felt the need to talk over the moderator. Secondly, as I stated earlier, she's essentially trying to take credit for what happened in her district and disregard what happens citywide, but you're running to be the next mayor.

You don't sell people on what happened in your district. And by the way, her district is a failure too. So I don't even know why she's going there. Meaning her district is one of the terrible examples of how homeless encampments are being set up near schools. Okay? So she has no room to talk whatsoever. People clapping for her are truly delusional. And that actually takes it to one of these voters who were, he is a supporter of Spencer Pratt.

It was so bad for him that he actually walked out and ran into a reporter and had this to say. Or liars. And I think both of them have a lot to prove. and they have improved anything yet. I think you were a pretty outspoken Spencer Pratt supporter, if I remember correctly. A lot of people tonight are wondering where are Spencer Pratt voters? What are they thinking of tonight's debate? And where are they going from here?

Yeah, well, there's a handful of them right over there now. I think we're so disillusioned by what's happening in the city right now. And Spencer, whether you liked them or not, brought a different perspective. And I think both of those candidates in there need to bring a different perspective because L.A. is failing right now, especially with homelessness, and neither of them brought it. And I don't think either of them have an clear understanding of what to do. You don't have to give an answer if you don't want to,

but have you made up your mind one way or the other of who you're going to? All right. I don't think he'll end up voting anyway. Listen, I wouldn't be living. I don't live in California now, but if I was in L.A., I'd be moving. We brought this up so many times on the show, especially for people who are so concerned with the high cost of living. Why do you live in Los Angeles?

why why do that to yourself it's it's truly a punishment at this point and now obviously if you have the the the the job of your dreams you know um maybe your best friend or something i could see why you might live there maybe you got a roommate whatever maybe you just don't know but yeah i don't think people go to los angeles to thrive i think people who are living in los angeles are barely making it by. And I don't mean to make that rhyme, but I think that is the reality. Okay. All right. So he's fed up. A lot of voters are fed up, but not everybody. This is what the scene was like outside of this debate. Anyways, let's take a look at this. All right. So just as a heads up, I'm going to read this message from today's sponsor,

This is when they really get into the more personal stuff. And Raman is asked by the reporter in the end about why she's missed over a thousand meetings.

I mean, we all miss. Yeah. We all miss days of counsel. We all miss days of counsel. After the debate, Raman answered our questions responding to some of Bass's biggest attack. Mayor Bass was saying that you've been, we've had six years. I think Mayor Bass sometimes mistakes the fact that I'm a council member with her own job, the mayor.

If she wants to run for council, she's more than welcome to. She targeted your attendance at meetings and said she said that you missed over a thousand meetings. Well, I will say that for a mayor who has been so absent during moments of crisis in this city, for her to target my absence has felt very ironic. We also try to speak with Mayor Bass to get a response to some of the biggest attacks made against her tonight, but she left before we could get to her. Reporting live, Matthew Seedorf, Fox 11 News. Of course she left. That's what she's used to doing.

Of course she left. Oh, man. Useless women. I totally agree with you guys. Yeah, I mean, listen, I wouldn't be living in Los Angeles, as I told you guys. I wouldn't be living in California. I'm not asking for, you know, leftists to move to Texas or Florida. I don't think they do either, by the way.

I think most people who are leaving are people who actually have some common sense. Okay, you may not agree with them, especially from a conservative point of view. But I don't think those are your, I'm really diehard ramen. I'm diehard Karen Bass. High Hard Gavin Newsome. Those people are not moving from California. They don't see it that way. And you know how you know that to be true? Because what type of person would lead California? A person who truly supports Gavin Newsom? No. Not at all. Sounds like a person who's taking responsibility for their own circumstances and trying to figure a better way out for their family and their life. Doesn't sound like someone who supports Gavin Newsman, in my opinion.

Okay. So I think we've said enough on that. Both of these women are not. embarrassment to the very definition of leadership in my opinion and I just think it's bad. But I don't think it's actually as bad as the next story we're going to, which is about Lindsay Clancy. And the story isn't about the true crime angle of this. I'm talking about the people who showed up outside the courthouse to show their support for Lindsay. Let's hear more. And see triple murder trial. Right now, a big group of Clancy supporters are taking part in a stand in peace. You can see them there all in pink. This is a rally outside of the courthouse in Massachusetts. And there are similar events that are planned across the U.S., like in California, New York, and Charlotte, North Carolina. There's also one in England. And when the trial resumes in less than an hour, the defense is expected to call another witness before potentially resting its case. This comes after court ended earlier than anticipated yesterday because of an unforeseen. circumstance. The psychologist who met with Lindsay after she killed her three kids, wrapped up his testimony, speaking to jurors about Clancy's mental health following the incident. My opinion is that

she did have indeed a mental disease or a defect. That's a legal construct, not a DSM-5-1, but she had bipolar disorder with postpartum psychoses. In addition, she was unable to conform her behaviors to the rule of law, and she had no appreciation for the wrongfulness of her act. Clancy is pleading not guilty, as her defense argues, she was dealing with mental health issues, including postpartum psychosis. She faces life in prison without parole if she is convicted. Okay, so let's stay on this screen. I want you guys to look at what she's facing, right? We already know three counts of first degree murder. She decided to plead not guilty, insanity defense is a reason. If convicted, mandatory life in prison without parole,

if found not guilty, she will be sentenced to state psychiatric hospital. Now, let me just ask you guys a question right up front. Where do you think she belongs? Do you think she belongs in prison or do you think she belongs in a mental hospital? It's a serious question. Okay, based on what we know publicly, whether it's the 15 different medications, what she ultimately did, does she belong in prison, or does she belong in a mental institution? It's a good question. Is that a Palestine flag? What is that? What is this?

What flag is she waving right there? You guys see that? What is that? Hold on. Let me make sure you guys can see this. Thank you. Right here. Do you guys see that flag?

What is that? What who's waving flags outside the courthouse explain that one to me I don't get it all right all right um let me show one more I got I got some thoughts but hold on here let me let me show you guys this in one place at one time who may understand all of us on the level that others don't. Okay. So this has given me Luigi Mangione vibes, so to speak, where people justify the heinous act by blaming the system, right?

Now, I was very careful with how I posed the question. I don't think she should get off, by the way. And by the way, regardless of the verdict, she's gone anyway. She's finished. She's either going to be in a mental institution. Well, she'll never be the same. They'll feed her pills for the rest of her life. So she's done.

Or she's going to rot in a prison for the rest of her life. Okay? So either way, she's finished, all right? She's not going to get the death penalty out of this because the whole case is based on her being insane. And so let's just understand that. My laws, it could be one of my best friends and it could be me. So just here to support. We are hearing her.

We see that she tried everything. and I really do believe that she went into a state of psychosis. They felt like the system failed her. She was big and failed, but no one was there. I don't know if us being here will make her feel any bad about. I mean, she's living in hell right now. Well, you know, one of my beliefs in life, you guys can, you know, disagree with me if you like,

is that when we experience tragedy as a society, especially in America, there are red flags along the way. There are breadcrumbs. There were points in time where it was like, hey, okay, red flag number one, okay, red flag number two. And the problem is that we get so caught up with life, we're moving so fast that we lose sight of the present moment.

Every single tragedy known to man, there was red flags that led up to the event. And hindsight's 2020, obviously, so it's easy to say, well, what happened here? why didn't you, you know, obviously. But according to what I heard also, you know, the grandparents had already offered to take the kids in. Like, at that point, if I'm the man of the house and the grandparents are saying, let us take the kids in, I'm probably doing something wrong, right? I have probably failed at some level. Like, if we're getting to the point where the grandparents are saying, we need to take the kids,

bro, what are you doing? Right? So, you know, again, there were red flags here. Okay, not just with her, but with the husband and the father as well. And guys, the silver lining for me is these kids are definitely resting in peace, okay? I'm sure they're in heaven. They're not feeling any pain. And that's the only positive spin out of all of this. But I do think this is an indictment on the medical industry.

I don't see how she could go to multiple doctors, get prescribed that type of medication within a span of 18 months and not think there's going to be some issue as far as side effects are concerned. And our system clearly isn't set up to catch that. So I think that's something that should be addressed. And also, she is the worst outcome when you do obviously put these pills together and to get someone of her mental state.
