So Spencer Pratt just walked on to the Los Angeles mayoral debate stage embodied both career politicians.
In fact, Karen Bass couldn't even defend her record on the fires, homelessness, or crime because there's really nothing to defend if you think about it.
Now, in case you missed the best parts of this debate, let's start here.
Right. So let me follow up on the fires, though.
One gets the impression based on what we saw that you prioritized wages and benefits, a hike in the salaries of the, of the, of the fires.
firefighters union over the operations budget, we saw those pictures of those engines that were
inoperable because they didn't have enough mechanics to fix them.
Was that a mistake?
Explain that decision.
Let me just say first of all, the primary problem there was that the chief sent home
a thousand firefighters.
We actually had fire trucks with not enough firefighters there.
So yes, there were fire trucks that were broken, but there were also fire trucks,
trucks that were out of use because she had sent the firefighters home.
Okay, so bottom line, a few things stood out to me that you guys should know right up front
because I watched the whole thing.
First, this debate was really short.
I think it was maybe 40 minutes.
I might be wrong on the time.
It was really short.
It was not a long debate.
It should have been a longer debate because they didn't even talk about fraud, corruption,
none of that.
They only focused more on Hollywood, homelessness, affordability, a little bit, and immigration.
a little bit. There was so much more to actually get to. Secondly, two career politicians
going up against an outsider. You'd think the outsider would be the guy on the stage that
wouldn't look like he knows what he's talking about. It was the complete opposite of that.
And number three, Karen Bass, for her, there's nothing she can say to make people believe
anything that she's saying because the results have shown that she's a liar. Let me show you
an example of that. Watch this. First off, as mayor, I will never drain the rest of
That we need for wildfire protection.
There's this conspiracy now that they're empty that they were for drinking water.
But if you research it, they were actually made for wildfire protection.
As mayor, I'm going to add 20 dipsites all around the communities connecting to pools.
So God forbid, the water system goes down again.
These dipsites that will be connected to individuals' pools will fill up for the helicopters to have water.
Mayor Baph's you have a response to that?
Yeah, absolutely.
He's saying several things that are completely.
inaccurate. First of all, there was one reservoir that was out of commission. He is correct. A million
years ago, it was for wildfires, but over the last 30, 40 years, it's been for drinking water.
He talked about the winds. That is just completely inaccurate. If that were accurate, then the
planes would have been able to fly. And so the winds reached close to 100 miles an hour,
and the planes were unable to fly. So if there were reservoirs, if that reservoir had been open,
it would not have worked. We had two other reservoirs totaling $8 billion gallons that were available.
Thank you. But could not fly. Yes, she mentioned me. So this is, she's an incredible liar.
Everyone on their phones, Google it. 40 weather stations in the Pacific Palisades. It never went
above 40 miles from. She is referencing the Altadena fire. I have to interrupt you for a minute. I have to
interrupt you. Okay, so in case you didn't get the context here,
she's claiming that this fire led to a catastrophic result because of hurricane level winds.
Okay?
That's what she says.
But the weather reports say otherwise.
And of course, if you just look in the comment section of this post, people are proving what he says is correct.
So she's a liar.
Now, let's move on to the next part of this debate that I found to be interesting, which is the other opponent.
Councilwoman Rahman.
Now, she's Mondani 2.0, by the way.
And Spencer pulled no punches here.
He absolutely exposed her.
Take a look.
First off, inside safe.
I like to say inside safe makes all of us outside unsafe.
The reality is no matter how many beds you give these people, they are on super meth.
They are on fentanyl.
The DEA statistics says 93% of this is a drug addiction problem.
Nithia, Councilwoman Robbins, plan for treatment first.
I will go below the Harbor Freeway tomorrow with her.
we can find some of these people she's going to offer treatment for, she's going to get stabbed
in the neck.
These people do not want a bed.
They want fentanyl or super meth.
These ideas cost us over $400 million to house for $7,000 people for $400 million.
This is an absolute failure for both of them.
They're a team.
He's not lying about this.
A simple Google search will tell you everything you need to know.
Mayor Karen Bass launched a $1.3 billion record budget for homelessness and fiscal year
23, 2024. The right November 2024 analysis found that only $59 million had been spent with over
$500 million unspent. And that's why her signature by the name of the program is called Inside Safe
is not keeping people safe because it's not working. And the consulwoman there,
she's no help either because she doesn't believe that a homeless encampment should not be next to a
school. Listen to this. Next question. Do you support the ordinance that restricts encampment
in front of schools or daycare centers.
Mayor Bass, I'm going to start with you.
Yes or no?
Ms. Rahman, yes or no?
I, you know, I support keeping our streets safe.
I did vote against the structure of this particular ordinance,
and it is because, at its best, it does not,
the way this ordinance was structured, it's a yes or no.
It does not keep our children safe.
It does not keep our children safe.
No, I, it doesn't keep our children safe enough.
It's a simple, yes or no.
It's a simple yes or no question, Mr. Pratt.
What I was saying is she's fighting because she doesn't think there's a difference between
one foot or 500 feet for kids' safety with drug addicts with machetes in front of schools.
I mean, this is an absolute masterclass.
And by the way, I think Spencer Pratt could have focused more on fraud.
I think he could have went after Raman a little bit more because Karen Bass has no chance.
She's finished.
I mean, the polls show that people have lost confidence in her.
And Raman and her, I mean, there are.
on the same team technically and Rahman's pulling higher than she is. So I think the real culprit
here is not necessarily Karen Bass. It's Roman because if you think Karen Bass is a problem,
you haven't seen nothing yet. This is similar to Lori Lightfoot versus Brandon Johnson. In hindsight,
who is the worst mayor at this point? I think you guys would agree Mayor Brandon Johnson.
Okay. Next clip here, which is really a more heartbreaking one essentially. This is Spencer Pratt
talking about what people have to deal with in.
downtown Los Angeles, particularly restaurant workers. I was just talking to my friend Rachel,
who works in downtown L.A. Downtown is so unsafe now that they have to serve the food. All the
employees have to eat inside. They can't risk going out. That's why all these beautiful
restaurants are closing because it's so unsafe. So before we require city workers to go back
into any buildings, we need to enforce the laws on the street. Councilwoman Rahman is talking
about safety yet when animal rescue activist Rebecca Corey came in and
said the dogs are being torture and abused on the streets of done and she walked out of the
hearing she doesn't care about safety she doesn't care about anything she's talking about at least
mayor bass pretends to care now this next clip i find to be the summary of this entire debate which
was a short one by the way because it demonstrates where all three candidates are at as far as their
politics are concerned and what they believe is going to be best for los angeles moving forward and it
boils down to a simple question, which I find to be a litmus test, should non-citizens be allowed
to vote in local elections? Take a listen. So there's an LA council member. He wants voters to decide.
He is saying that non-citizens, should they be allowed to vote in local elections? Is this a yes or no?
Mr. Pratt? No. Mayor Bass. It depends. It's not a yes or no.
Depends on what? Well, first of all, when you say non-citizens, it doesn't mean they're here illegal.
It doesn't mean they're undocumented. They could have grants.
cards, they could be here perfectly legal, and there's a lot of states and cities that do that
on very, very local elections. We have to see what the councilman is proposing. Council Member
Bremen. Yeah, I would say, again, it does depend in other places. School boards have non-citizens
who voted. Mr. Fred, I have a question for you. You told NBC News a few months ago that
Okay, hold on, hold on, because see what happened there right at the end, uh, ramen was caught off
She was about to go into this word salad.
And one of the moderators literally bailed her out.
He should have allowed her to put a foot in her mouth, essentially.
But let's just take a step back and just take exactly what they said.
Spencer straight up says no.
Mayor Karen Bass says it depends.
Councilwoman Rahman says it depends.
What do you mean it depends?
Why would a non-citizen be allowed to vote in a local election?
Again, we talked about this in regards to the person who actually introduced this
proposal. This is crazy. And it's not common sense. Now, here is that same moderator trying to,
I guess, get Spencer Pratt to mess up here because he's asking him about this idea of how ICE
won't be able to operate in Los Angeles if he's mayor. Listen. You want LAPD to take care of,
so if you don't want ICE to be here in the city. So the question is, you want LAPD to do enforcement
as ICE? No, that's not what I said. What I said is.
when I'm mayor, I want to enforce all the loss and get all the drug dealers, the murderers, the child traffickers, the rapists.
And if they're legal or illegal, if they are a danger to our say, I want them off our streets.
So that's what I said.
Ice won't be coming here because I'm going to end up, everybody they're supposedly looking for, they're going to be in jail when I'm mayor.
Okay, so I think you guys know exactly where I'm at on this.
I would say Spencer Pratt did the best.
I think Karen Bass, I mean, she's she has no chance in my opinion.
opinion. And I think Rahman, I don't think she said anything that really hurt her, if that makes
sense. She's polling higher than both of them, just for the record. So if there's another debate,
which I don't know when at this point, we'll look at it. Spencer Pratt should go after her a little bit
more because she is Bondani 2.0. Believe that. Now, at the same time, this debate was occurring.
Get this. This is fascinating. So there was a raid at McArthur Park. Okay. This is the park that
Barron Bass wants everybody to believe is a family park.
But we know drug dealing has been happening in such a dramatic way.
In fact, local businesses had to shut down as a result.
We know illegal aliens were picked up there.
And so they just conducted a raid to stop this from happening.
Take a look.
We're McCartre Park today.
We're reclaiming the park for the citizens of Los Angeles.
This park's been overtaken by gang members, 18th Street gang, who tags their logos here thinking they own the place by drug dealers, drug users.
It's zombie land.
And we're taking it back.
So today we're executing 25 arrest warrants, eight federal search warrants.
We're hitting the businesses along Alvarado here that are used to stash the drugs,
that are used to sell to people in MacArthur Park.
And so we're going after the street dealers.
The days of dealing drugs and using drugs openly in MacArthur Park are open.
So essentially you're saying that these businesses are stash houses.
I'm not saying that's what the judge said.
The judge signed the search warrants.
We've been surveilling this area.
for the last couple months. We have very sophisticated surveillance teams. We know exactly who's dealing,
where they're getting the drugs from, which businesses they're storing it at. We submitted those affidavits
to a judge, and the judge gave us permission to search these businesses today.
Final math, all of it. Cash, guns, drugs. We expect to find all that here today.
I mean, this is just bad timing for the mayor, because according to her, she's been investing a lot of
money into public safety. If that was the case, you wouldn't see these numbers you see here on the
screen as part of the arrest made in that area.
Agents seized nearly 19 kilograms of fentanyl worth about $8 million, up to $10 million.
And this is just them getting started.
The fact that they had to name the operation after the park, I think, tells you everything
you need to know.
But hey, why don't we listen to what the mayor had to say during that debate?
Because here was her take.
Watch.
Because we have made significant progress in a variety of areas.
For example, homelessness was going up year.
after year. And under my watch, it is the first time we've had a decrease in street homelessness.
While it went up in the country, 18%. It came down in Los Angeles, 17 and a half percent.
I have expedited the building of housing because our number one issue in this city is affordability.
And one of the main drivers for affordability is housing.
And the other thing about this entire operation that went down today is the messaging coming from
the assistant U.S. attorney.
You've got to respect the commitment from this administration.
You may not agree with everything that the president is doing, which is totally fine.
But I think he would appreciate that you finally have a federal government who's serious about cracking down on crime like this one.
Watch this.
And this is part of the broader arrest taking place across the city.
Yeah, look, when President Trump made it clear that we're going to make America safe again, this is part of that.
We're not putting up with open-air drug markets.
California's policies have allowed this.
They've decriminalized drug dealing, drug use.
You could talk to drug dealers. They have no fear in the state of California. They know if they're arrested under state law, they'll be out in a couple hours.
No one is afraid of the criminal justice system in California. But guess what? Today they're being, they're going to be arrested by the feds.
They're not looking at a couple hours. They're going to look at 10 years.
you know, executing these raids in multiple cities, but it's called Operation McArthur Park,
which is actually located at that park as well because that was an area of concern,
totally contradicts everything that the mayor was saying on that debate stage today,
which is not a surprise. The councilwoman Rahman, she's no better either. In fact,
she endorsed Mayor Karen Bass before she decided to throw her hat in the ring there,
sort of speak. And Spencer Pratt does exactly what he's been doing since the very beginning.
He gets it. He knows exactly what people are.
going through. Why? Because he's one of them. So give me your thoughts about everything in today's
