federal judge just ruling that his executive order targeting Democratic-tide law firm Perkins-Coy
is illegal and unconstitutional. So here we go again. Another federal judge is blocking President Trump
at his executive orders. Jasmine Crockett attacks Trump's budget proposal. And Kamala Harris's
interview from CBS is now getting a Emmy nomination. Breaking news, a major legal defense for
defeat for President Trump, a federal judge just ruling that his executive order targeting
Democratic-tide law firm Perkins-Coy is illegal and unconstitutional.
It marks the first time that a federal judge permanently blocked the president from enforcing an order to punish legal firms that he says he opposes politically.
Judge Howell writes in part quote, no American president has ever before issued executive orders like the one at issue in this lawsuit, targeting a prominent law firm with adverse actions.
This action draws from a playbook as old as Shakespeare, who penned the phrase, the first thing we do, let's kill all the lawyers.
Now, in the next 60 seconds, I'm going to give you all of the facts.
because mainstream media wants you to believe that President Trump is just out for revenge here.
Now, fact number one, it is true a left-wing judge block President Trump's executive order.
Fact number two, Trump's executive order is designed to cut off federal contracts and funding
and revoked the security clearances of law firms who have been engaged in political warfare.
Example of that warfare is fact number three.
One of the law firms at the center of this is Perkins & Coy was hired by the DNC and Hillary Clinton's campaign in 2016.
Which leads to fact number four, this is the same law firm that hired Fusion GPS, which produced a fake steel dossier that sparked the Russia hoax.
Fact number five, Mark Elias, which was a top partner at Perkinson Coy, defended Hillary Clinton during her email server scandal.
Fact number six, Perkinson Coy also defended the DNC during the WikiLeaks fallout.
And fact number seven, which I believe to be the most important one.
President Trump's goal here is to stop allowing law firms to be funded by taxpayers, especially
when they're used to prosecute Republicans and defend Democrats.
So does this ruling, does it apply, is it just about the executive order regarding this firm
or does it apply to all the other firms as well?
It just applies to Perkins Cooey, but it's important to remember that three other judges
have also issued preliminary rulings, not a more final ruling like this one, also rejecting
what the Trump administration has tried to do regarding three other.
other lawyers, three other law firms. So the scorecard at this point is for judges finding
these orders against law firms unconstitutional and zero judges supporting what Trump has tried to do.
Now, these cases are all going to start to move through the appellate process. Perhaps they'll go to
the Supreme Court. But it is just worth noting that judges across
the political spectrum in different cases involving different law firms have all said what
Trump is trying to do in these completely unprecedented coercive orders against law firms
is unconstitutional.
Now, here's how I see it, and it is my opinion.
The same people who are crying about the way President Trump is going about this is the same
people who were silent when these same law firms were obviously going after Republicans
and defending Democrats, as I laid out earlier in the video.
what President Trump is doing, he may not even win these cases. That's fine. But it's Democrats
and these law firms who put themselves in this position. If they did not cover up Hillary Clinton
in the way that they did, if they did not go after President Trump with the Russia hoax,
he may not even be president today. What is so funny to me is they don't realize this is
their own doing. The idea that they would go after firms and prevent them from representing
certain people, that is what the judge says is unconstitutional. That is what the judge
ruled, and I think to Brad's point, this will go to the circuit court and likely be elevated
beyond that. I think to also Brad's larger point is this is the live by the pen die by the
pen mentality of the Trump administration at this point. They are doing all of these executive
orders to push the limit, to see where they can get judicial, you know, rulings in their favor.
I mean, to be fair, Democrats have played plenty of lawfare. This is not a what-aboutism.
Each political party uses different courts. They file in different places. So, like, let's not
But this is messy.
This is messy.
Change in the world is not going to be an easy process.
That's what Donald Trump's going to tell you.
But wait, I'm not done.
On this pool, I think it's important to realize that what Trump is doing here,
ultimately on all of these executive orders, if it's on the law firms,
if it's on boys and girls' sports, all of it can be undone or upended if it was to
hold or not in court through the administration, upended if it's not signed into law
if a Democrat becomes president or goes into Congress.
So all of this is right now just momentary unless it is secured in other fashions.
See, that clip represents the story that should be getting more attention, and that is Congress.
Did you know that President Trump has only signed five bills into law that is the lowest in history, dating all the way back to FDR?
To give you some context, in the first Trump administration, he signed 28 bills into law.
The second lowest is George W. Bush with seven, and the third lowest is Ronald Reagan coming in at nine.
So the bottom line here, folks, given everything that he wants to do in this entire America First agenda, it means nothing if Congress does not do what they're supposed to do.
Now, speaking of Congress, President Trump has introduced his budget proposal that he wants Republicans to get on board with.
Let's actually hear the details on what it looks like.
So let's dive into those numbers.
There's $163 billion in cuts for non-defense discretionary programs.
That's about 23%.
Now, for defense spending, as you can see it on your screen right there,
$117 billion boost, that amounts to about 13%.
Now let's put those numbers into context.
What does this actually mean?
Well, for cuts, we're talking about places like foreign aid, environmental programs, FEMA,
Forest Services, the IRS.
Increases, on the other hand, places like charter schools, homeland security,
the Defense Department, FAA, and VA medical care.
Now, this is going to be interesting to see how this continues to play out
up on Capitol Hill, as we inch closer to those government funding negotiations, though we're
already hearing some reaction from all corners of the House Republican and Senate Republican
conferences up on Capitol Hill.
From deficit hawks, hardline conservatives who are consistently pushing for spending cuts,
folks are cheering on this budget idea, saying that these cuts are good for their goal.
But in other hand, we're hearing from some defense hawks, folks who prefer a muscular military,
who are concerned about some of the cuts in different areas.
Okay, so that is to be expected.

Now, that is a fair proposal from the president.
Clearly, he's cutting the programs and the line items
that Doge has identified as being wasteful,
spending. And number two, isn't it interesting that Democrats once again are proven wrong?
Now, where in there did you see that President Trump seeks to cut entitlement benefits?
So there's that. Now, obviously, I agree with it. But you know who doesn't? The Democrat leader,
Jasmine Crockett, take a listen. Unfortunately, I don't feel like we're living at a time in which
these representatives, whether they're senators or House members, are listening to their constituents.
If you listen to your constituents, then you will hear pain. And that pain is spread across the
political spectrum, whether you're a Democrat, Republican, or independent, the cuts that you talked
about, they are going to impact everyone. And I have to tell you that the House budget Democrats
have made sure that we have every single district listed out with the amount of people that
will be impacted by the Medicaid cuts, with the amount of people that will be impacted by the
snap cuts. So there's Jasmine Crockett doing what she does best, which is offering an opinion
that has zero substance. That's number one. Number two, Caitlin Collins failed to fact
her because clearly President Trump is not cutting snap or entitlement benefits for the million
time. And number three, which is the brutal truth, this deficit will never get under control
until we take a look at the entitlement programs and the Department of Defense spending.
When you combine both of those, you come up with 75% of our federal budget.
Well, I don't know if you heard the president on the town hall the other night.
I asked him about this. And he said, I am not touching.
entitlements. Do you believe that your party, specifically the conservative caucus of it, will
allow that? I believe we're not going to touch Social Security nor Medicare. I think those
both promises made to taxpayers since the first day they went to work. We're not going to
touch either one of those programs. We are going to look at Medicaid, because as most people
know, there's been a lot of money spent on Medicaid programs for illegal aliens, people who
truly are not qualified for Medicaid, and people are able-bodied. It's a challenge
role to take on with a budget deficit of over a trillion dollars, but we have to look at the
spending problem in Washington. They've run up an overall debt of about $37 trillion, and we're
going to make those promises where we're going to try to rein in some of the wild spending
as outlined by Doge, but these are not easy decisions, and that's why Zoe and I need to
literally roll up our sleeves and see what we can do to reduce the cost and still provide
generous benefits for those people who've earned Social Security and Medicare. Now, the overall
positive that I see in this personally for me is that he is increasing spending on the veterans
health care, right? The VA, which is a good thing because it's much needed. I think the VA health care
system could be vastly improved, no question. In fact, I would argue in some cases, it's probably
one of the worst health care systems in our country. But again, that's my own personal opinion
of the matter. Now, let's go to this next story, which is just pure, I think, out of spite. So you
guys understand that President Trump sued CBS over the 60 Minutes interview with Kamala Harris that
was edited during the election campaign. Okay. Well, it is now being revealed that it has been
nominated for an Emmy. Take a listen. Remember that 60 Minutes interview with Kamala Harris
where they cut out a huge portion of a response to a question about the Middle East. It was so
deceptively edited President Trump as currently suing CBS over that interview. They apparently
seem to be close to a settlement. And guess what? That same interview,
was just nominated for an Emmy,
the category outstanding edited interview.
Jimmy Phelah, I learned about edited fake news firsthand.
Ted Koppel.
I'm Ted Koppel.
This is Nightline. Remember that guy?
Yep.
All right. Ted Koppel interviews me for an hour.
Finally uses maybe a minute,
but only the minute that made him look the best
and clipped my answer
which was better than his minute, which infuriated me, and I called it edited fake news.
I mean, this is ridiculous.
And it was.
But the craziest thing about the 60 Minutes story is Kamala didn't even want to go on the show
because she didn't know how long it was.
She was like, well, what's going on here?
This is obviously a pushback against Trump, and they're trying to say they did something
virtuous and good.
But again, Donald Trump is not the reason people don't trust the media.
The media is.
That's the issue.
And this is another example of that because they're trying to rally around what 60 minutes did like it was a good thing.
And we all know the truth.
Embarrassing, man.
Now, again, like I said, this is out of spite because it's laughable that it's in the category of outstanding editing.
Come on.
Now, other nominees in that category includes CBS interviews with Supreme Court Justice Kintaghi Brown Jackson
and the late Pope Francis as well as NBC's interview with Celine Dion and ABC's interview with Brittany Greiner.
Now, they did get a quote from the White House where Stephen Chong said this.
Of course, it's nominated for best editing because it takes some serious talent to edit Kamala Harris's answers into something that's coherent and understandable, which in the end they still failed to do.
Okay, so now let's move to our next story.
Just like I promised what happened, President Trump is sitting down for an interview with Meet the Press.
They already released a clip of this.
And in that clip, he's being accused of saying that it's okay if the American economy slips into a recession.
Now, they are pretty much manipulating his words.
Well, CNN didn't waste any time.
They're already hopping on this hoax and saying this.
Take a listen.
President Trump now says it's okay if the country takes an economic downturn.
And that's my question, the long term.
Is it okay in the short term to have a recession?
Look, yeah, everything's okay.
What we are, I said, this is a transition period.
I think we're going to do fantastically.
And there it is, ladies and gentlemen, this is one of the reasons why people do not trust mainstream media.
How are you going to take a preview of an interview, a clip that does not have the full context or the full statement from the president, and push this type of story that is really a heavy claim that he is okay with our economy slipping into a recession?
He didn't even say that exact statement.
But it doesn't matter to people like CNN because they're all in on being anti-Trump.
So to me, this is just another disgusting move by mainstream media, and we're going to call it out.
He did what Donald Trump does, which is he said, yeah, like he said, yeah, okay.
But what he did, he was not affirming her point.
He was using it as a bridge word to the next point.
He said, he said everything's fine.
He said everything's fine and we'll all be okay.
I would not have taken Donald Trump's statement the way the media did, which was to say he said a recession would be okay.
He did not, in any definitive terms, say a recession would be okay for the economy.
So the media getting all spun up over the word okay in the middle of a sentence to a bridge where he said everything is fine.
That was not what he was saying.
And so I think that we need a little bit of clarity here to like give the president the opportunity to say that was not what he said.
He did not say a recession would be okay.
So let's be honest.
Listen, the bottom line here is we're going to wait to the full interview to post, which will be tomorrow.
The only reason why even brought up this story was to highlight how misleading the mainstream media can be.
and when that full interview publishes, which we will talk about it, I'm sure we'll get to see the actual full statement.
And maybe Kristen Welker actually followed up with the president in that clip to confirm what he meant by what he was saying.
All right. So now let's get your opinion in the comments section into a couple of these stories.
First, with the federal judge blocking President Trump from his executive order in regards to these law firms and how they've been aggressively defending Democrats and going after the president.
also his budget proposal and what Jasmine Crocka had to say about that. And lastly, CNN once again
running a misleading story about the president. Let me know what you think about all those in the
comment section below. Now yesterday we did a video about black Trump supporters who were interviewed
by CNN and actually left Van Jones stunned. You got to hear what they had to say. And speaking of
karma, AOC gets heckled at our own town hall. If you want to check out that video and more from yesterday,
all you have to do is click on that video because it's coming up right.
