New York City mayor Zoramondani
just turned his back on New Yorkers
after this interview with MSDNC.
Listen to this.
He is in pain, that his son is traumatized
and that this city has still
dealing with having been terrorized by a rogue federal agency. And again, just to the points that you laid out,
we are talking about a federal agency that shot at a moving vehicle in broad daylight while its agents
were wearing construction vests using long guns and left New Yorkers in terror. That is, as you've
said, the same experience that so many have had anywhere across this country whenever it comes to ICE.
So as you guys just heard there, that was Mondani clearly defending this criminal illegal alien who did have multiple convictions, who did try to evade ICE arrest with his five-year-old son in that vehicle.
And what's interesting, according to the New York Post, a story they're running on the front page of their paper, says not a New Yorker.
City dwellers blast Mondani's description of illegal migrant gangbanger shot by ICE.
So people see this guy as a gangbanger.
And by the way, not only is Mondani trying to defend this criminal, but so was Jake Tapper.
Listen to this.
Obviously, one of the reasons this has gotten so much attention is that Oscar Belgael's five-year-old son was in the backseat of the car.
Now, you have said that the agents were not aware that there was this child in the backseat of the car.
But I wonder also about in terms of tactics, shouldn't agents be checking for things like that before they fire into the vehicle?
Thankfully, the kid's fine, but if this was a targeted operation, they were surveilling Mr. Belgall.
Are you 100% sure that the tactics being used don't need to change in any way here?
Well, let's be clear about this, too. Do you know who knew the five-year-old was in the car?
Oscar Belgaul.
If I'm a father, if I'm a father, which I am a father six, and I'm going to do everything I can to protect my child, I promise you, I would have been obeying the lawful commands that.
were given. The last thing I would have done is put my son or one of my kids in danger. He chose
to accelerate at a rated speed, hit the vehicle in front, flare off, and accelerate towards
officers into another vehicle. He was a selfish individual. Why would you ever put your child
into situation like that? Now, again, what's interesting is that CNN and these other outlets
talk more about the five-year-old than they do about the actual criminal who put the five-year-old.
in that position. Okay. These federal authorities, even your local police department,
they don't know everyone that's in the vehicle. So that's number one. At number two, the fact that
they don't know everybody that's in the vehicle happen in this particular scenario because they
didn't even get a chance because the guy was trying to evade arrest. And notice that people on
the left make no room for that. And if they wanted some level of credibility, they would
acknowledge that point, which is why Secretary Mullen was spot on for responding to
way to Jake Tapper. However, according to the mayor of New York City, because he loves criminals,
he believes ICE does not make New York safer. It does the opposite.
What we see from their actions is an agency that terrorizes, one that creates a sense of fear
as opposed to any idea of safety. And I made it very clear that the longer that ICE agents
were engaging in their operations in the city, the less safe this city was becoming.
I implored both of them as to looking at the
footage, you're talking about agents who are opening fire and broad daylight. Again, and we know that
when it comes to the secretary, when it comes to ICE, they view so many people across this country
innately as if being criminals just by virtue of how they look, where they live, what language that
they speak. And that is not how we run New York City. That is not who we are as New Yorkers.
Well, unfortunately, for the mayor, he's just dead wrong on this because we are talking about
someone who is a criminal who was convicted in New York City where there was a previous attempt
to arrest them by ICE, but he was able to evade them then.
And even before that situation, ICE had already requested that NYPD to hand him over when
they arrested him.
So the mayor is just dead wrong on that.
That's number one.
And number two, what I also find interesting, what is the difference between your local
police department who's doing something undercover, okay, or undercover?
DeA or undercover ICE agents, since they're not wearing this professional uniform, what is the
difference in all three of those scenarios?
There isn't one.
There's a reason why they look the way that they do, because it helps them be able to catch these
people off guard and detain them.
And that's exactly what 77 million people voted for, which is why Mark Wayne Mullen had
to remind Jake Tapper of the truth.
The truth is, this guy was an awful human being.
He was a thug.
He was a gangbanger, and he had only been in the country for three years, and he had this long of the rap sheet and had been released multiple times by New York State.
At the same time, he was on probation.
So you couldn't have got a worse of a worse thug than this than Oscar is.
And why is the media so outraged by this?
It doesn't make any sense, because Jake, you remember the week before an NYPD officer in the Bronx, same area that this was at, was stabbed by two thugs, too, with extensive rap.
sheets that was released by New York back on the streets.
They were also from the Dominican Republic, and not one person covered that.
I don't think the media covered it.
I know the mayor didn't go out and give some press conference about it.
If anybody's going to be outraged, they should be outraged that these criminals are still
running the streets when they should have been detained because we put detainers on them
and ask the state of New York to give them to us and let us ship them back out.
So all three of these thugs, Oscar and the two individuals that stabbed the NYPD officer,
all three of those individuals should have been deported years ago,
but of course, the state of New York is a sanctuary state,
and this is the kind of criminals that are running wild.
A few things for you guys.
Number one, if you're already upset at how moderate Democrats have failed
in regards to sanctuary cities,
then you're really going to lose your mind regarding the Democrat soldiers of America,
which some will be serving in Congress when it's all set and done
as they continue to take over the Democratic Party.
In fact, the DSA put out this statement today.
we demand that Mayor Zoramandani fire NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch and use every power available to him to drive ICE out of New York City.
We further demand that the mayor abolished to NYPD's strategic response group and community response team.
Essentially, folks, they want chaos.
And by the way, if you need someone to essentially back up what this is saying, listen to one of the members of DSA who will be serving in Congress.
Watch this.
What is the rap sheet for this person that Jessica Tish is alleging is this, you know, criminal and that like the ICE apprehension was valid for that perspective?
You know, I was just so angry as I was listening to it.
I've like gone back to the, to her remarks to make sure that I was like correct in our, you know, our statement about it.
But like, to me, it doesn't even matter, right?
It doesn't even matter.
Police Commissioner Tisch came out like, I understand that it is her role to provide more information,
and that is why she comes to these press conferences.
But rather than, you know, condemn ICE, rather than condemn the shooting or the events that I'd just taken place,
she started to villainize Oscar, right, villainize him and villainize, you know, by extent, right,
anyone who was in his position.
How much more radical can you get?
this woman's running for elected office.
She will be in Congress.
According to the polling, it's a really blue district that she'll be representing so we can go ahead and just expect that she will be in Congress.
She's advocating for a criminal to be released back onto the streets and advocating for the commissioner of the NYPD to be fired.
Imagine that.
So does she really know what safety looks like or public safety that is?
Is she someone that you would really trust with your kids in that particular community or neighborhood?
Doesn't seem like it to me.
But this is what we're going to get, ladies and gentlemen, as American voters continue to entertain the idea of a DSA and particularly the Democrat Party to essentially rebuke this current administration.
Because they're disappointing in what Trump has done.
They don't believe he's followed up on his promises.
But don't you think you would take some broken promises which don't put your life.
in jeopardy over individuals like her who clearly want to put your life in jeopardy.
He needs to be released.
Like he is currently in MDC and Brooklyn.
The idea that they are grabbing a criminal off the street, ICE is grabbing a criminal
non-citizen off the street, is totally ridiculous.
Let's talk about calci.com.
It's the prediction market where you can trade on essentially anything, especially in our
country. And what's cool right now is if you use my promo code or scan the QR code you see here
on the screen, they'll give you $25 on your first $25. What you guys see here on the screen is an example,
Michigan Senate winner, which currently has Abdul-Elsa head. Listen, I am not buying that number
whatsoever, okay? But these are the current odds right now, 68% for him, 32% for Mike Rogers. You can
get out of politics. If you're done with that, go to culture. You could check out sports, crypto,
commodities, climate, economics, etc.
A lot of other things that you could trade.
So go to casheet.com
4 slash R4 slash devoid or scan the carer code.
You get $25 on your first $25 that you trade.
And there it is, ladies and gentlemen,
if that isn't clear enough, I don't know what is.
And if I was in the Republican Party,
I'd be clipping that and running it as a campaign ad.
Because that's what they believe, ladies and gentlemen.
They don't believe someone who's actually been convicted of crimes,
who's evaded arrests.
and someone who is guilty of robbery is a criminal.
I mean, again, let's go back to the border.
They don't believe someone crossing the border is illegal
or they should be labeled as a criminal and it's not a crime.
Now they're making the argument that if someone robbed someone in New York City
was arrested for it, was convicted of it, is not a criminal
and should be released because they hate ICE that much.
I mean, this is just getting out of hand, folks.
It really is.
Here's what Tom Homan had to say.
Mondami's locked us out of Rikers Island.
Governor Hoke will sign legislation
and the 287G program
where sheriffs allowed the work of us.
We can't even rent beds from sheriffs
but illegal anise be taken into custody.
So I had a meeting with her
and I told her, it says,
more agents in your jail
means less agents in your street.
I mean, arresting a public safety threat
and the safety and security of the jail
is safer for the community,
is safer for the agent and safer for the island.
So why did ICE target this person?
Because he's a public safety threat.
He has a significant criminal history of gang ties.
Secretary Mohn did a great job at the press conference yesterday.
Explained to American people.
The bad guy is the one we arrested.
But, you know, the politician, Madame Hoco,
want to point their finger at the ICE agent.
They want to ignore the fact this man's a public safety threat,
and ICE has taken him off the street,
which makes New York safer.
When I was ICE direct, we took over 5,000
criminal aliens off the street in New York.
You're welcome. But this is a constant
attack on ice based on all lies.
In addition to the lies
that we keep experiencing
with these particular conflicts with
ICE, I mean, at this point,
they just don't care. They're arrogant about it.
I mean, Mandani celebrates at the
idea that they're not cooperating. I mean,
here he is literally admitting that
to this MSDNC host
as they put the numbers on the screen.
The city of New York does still
cooperate, if I understand correctly, in limiting.
cases. Is that right? This morning, your office shared with me that there were 24 instances of the New York City Department of Corrections honoring detainers in 2025. 13 of them, meaning handing people over to ICE in 2026. So is that accurate?

That is accurate.
It is the law in New York City that for more than 170 serious violent crimes,
when a judge signs off on a warrant, that there is that handover.
But what we hear from the Secretary time and again is to imply,
that all people in this city, if they are of an immigrant background, could be criminals.
Well, that's not what he's implying. What he is implying is that if you're in the country on Laughley
and we see you, you're subject to deportation in accordance with the law. If you've already been
convicted of a crime and we've already tried to pick you up, but NYPD is unable to help us,
we will find you, detain you and deport you. That's who he's talking about. And again,
they think people are stupid because they don't want to spend any time.
clearly articulating the difference between legal immigration and illegal immigration. Clearly,
there's a fundamental difference. We speak about it all the time on the show. And it just goes to show
that nobody really, when I say nobody, the people who are clearly against ICE, they're refusing to do
their research. I mean, even the most honest person in this entire debate would essentially concede to the
idea that what Mondani is doing, including cities across the country, is actually making the
public unsafe because it's forcing ICE, the federal authorities, who have the authority and
have the law on their side to take matters into their own hands, go into the communities and
track these people down.
If you don't want that to happen, as Tom Holman has been saying since the very beginning,
they should be calling up ICE and saying, Mr. Oscar, who we just arrested for robbery and
is being convicted, he will be at this jail on this time, at this date, come and get him.
so you guys are not spending time in our communities.
You could spend more time in our jails.
That would make total sense to me.
I'm sure it makes sense to you.
But as we both know, logic or common sense that is,
doesn't really have a place in politics today.
So my takeaway from this is not only is the mayor blatantly lying,
but he has essentially turned his back on New Yorkers
and the need for public safety in that city.
I mean, you could just kiss that goodbye as he is purposely
defending this criminal who was convicted in his city for robbing someone in his city.
And that's why they want to see the NYPD commissioner gone because even she had to admit that
truth. It's interesting. Share your thoughts in the comment section below to this entire video,
