So Trump supporters are reacting to his first 100 days, and you've got to see what they told mainstream media.
Also, Amazon is being slammed by the White House for their shocking stunt, and Scott Besson has confirmed that tariffs could pay for tax relief.
Let's hear what Trump supporters told MSNBC this morning.
The White House framing this first 100 days as a smashing economic success, Shaq, the polls show otherwise.
You've spoken to Trump voters there in Michigan.
Where do they land?
Well, Anna, my conversations with Trump's biggest supporters here.
They acknowledge the reality that you guys are talking about.
They see and feel the impacts of the tariffs.
They see the softening market.
The looming price increases because of the terrorists.
But they say they are sticking with him for multiple reasons.
One, they say this is what he promised on the campaign trail.
It came as no surprise to them, even with the impacts that we're talking about.
And two, they say that this is something that they believe in.
It's a mission they ultimately believe in and a goal of bringing back manufacturing to the United States.
Listen to how his supporters explained it to me.
Nobody likes to pay more for anything I don't, but in the long run, I think it's going to be good.
The tariffs, they don't scare me at all.
My money went down just like everybody else's.
My investments in there coming right back up.
It doesn't phase me a bit.
I know that as a country we owe a lot.
You know, we're in a lot of debt.
And if those tariffs are going to help bring back more to our economy, I'm all for it.
Okay.
So that was MSDNC interviewing Trump supporters.
And the bottom line up front is this.
On the left, you have people who are saying that President Trump's first 100 days is a disaster.
He's jailing his political opponents.
He's deporting American citizens.
He's causing record inflation.
He is crashing the economy, et cetera, et cetera.
I'm sure you guys have heard that repeatedly.
And then on the other side, which you're going to hear as well, is President Trump is doing
exactly what he promised.
He has closed the border in a way we've never seen before.
Gas prices are down.
Inflation is down.
Obviously, deregulating energy has made a huge impact.
And now he's in the middle of these trade negotiations, which we should be seeing some sign agreements coming here shortly.
And that's what we have here.
Now, CNN doesn't care about all that because they have a narrative to push.
Here they are in Tucson, Arizona, interviewing.
and people who are not actually Trump supporters here for yourself.
Tamara Varga is a Trump supporter, happy with some promises kept, but nervous.
A big one could be broken.
I'm worried about Medicaid and Medicare and Social Security.
He did say that he wasn't going to cut them, that he was just going to find the waste,
and I really hope that he sticks to that.
Why is that so important to you?
It's important because we need to take care of our people with disabilities and our elderly
and those that depend on it.
and they can't survive as it is right now, and we cannot cut.
Melissa Cordero is an Air Force veteran who voted for Trump once back in 2016 and regrets it every day.
He's like crazed right now. I'm constantly going, can he do that?
I'm angry because the communities that I care the most about are being attacked,
the LGBTQ community, the trans community.
And what's really got me angry is immigration
and what's happening to deported veterans.
Cordero just visited some deported veterans in Mexico.
Just learned she lost a conservation grant that was part of a DEI program.
He's organizing protests against Trump cuts at the Veterans Administration.
Okay, so listen, this might sound a little partisan, but just work with me here.
First, they interview a lady who has bought into the idea that Medicaid and Medicare and Social Security might actually get cut by Republicans.
So I'm not too sure I would classify her as a Trump supporter.
She may have actually voted for Trump because the border was an issue down in Arizona, no question.
But that doesn't mean she actually supports his agenda full stop.
So there's that.
And then secondly, they interview a veteran who voted for Trump in 2016, not 2024.
who is clearly caught up in the whole LGBTQ movement.
And if you are watching this on YouTube, you saw what she looked like.
So I'm not surprised she has a lot of negative things to say about President Trump.
And I'm just going to leave it there.
Now, let's hear some Trump supporters on Fox News.
We elected him because we wanted a change.
We needed a change.
And that's why he was elected into office to make a difference.
And I think, you know, 100 days he's done great things.
He's scared a few people, but I think we need to give him a chance to follow through on his plan
because I do think he's got, like Dominic's at great people in his corner and, you know,
smart people, and he's a businessman.
He's not a politician, and I think we have to give him a chance to go forward with his plan.
I'm more than content with what President Trump and his administration are doing.
I think as an HR professional, he's been very thoughtful in hiring the right people,
putting them in the right roles, and we're just taking a step back to watch things play out.
let him cook, like you said.
I've been a registered Republican since 18, first-generation American,
and we want to see the country a little bit more conservative
than what we're doing so that we always put America first.
All right, so what would you say the number one topic
that you voted for that has been addressed so far this administration, this time around?
How long is this show?
Borders, fossil fuels, the VA, military, respect.
and we got a leader back in the White House.
What do you think of the first 100 days of Trump?
Blown away. Amazing. Amazing. He couldn't have done any better.
For 78 years old, he is phenomenal.
I'd like to see anybody who can stay up as late as he does at night
and be up the next morning and still functional day, because I don't think I could.
What have you liked the most in terms of what he's done?
Oh my gosh, the immigration policies. You know, if you hear it legally,
you need to go home now we know exactly what trump supporters are saying but what about mainstream media
to find that out you need a tool like the one you see on the screen called ground news if you guys
want to check this up for yourself go to ground dot news 4 slash devori trump is hosting a rally today
in michigan but more importantly this tool will show you exactly what both sides are saying about
his first 100 days and here is an example from an outlet that leans left trumped mark tumultuous first
100 days with Michigan rally. And the title that most outlets are running with, Trump's mark
100 days in office in Michigan, a state hit hard by tariffs. And from an article that leans right,
White House focuses on border crackdown as it marks 100 days for Trump's second term. Now, clearly,
both sides are biased in the way that they see things, but what happens when one side isn't
reporting the news? That's called blind spot, which is what ground news will help you uncover.
And as an example, it was published today that President Trump,
is receiving 92% of negative coverage in its first 100 days.
And as you can see here, no one on the left is talking about that.
And that's why you should use a tool like Ground News to help you do your own research and
think for yourself.
That's what we do here at the show.
And we recommend you do the same.
So if you want to use this tool for yourself, all you have to do is go to ground.
That news 4 slash DeVore or you can download the mobile app.
Just use promo code DeVoree.
And it's going to give you access to everything that I showed you in this video,
including 40% off the Vantage plan.
Look, Bill and Dana, I think there's no other way to look at this first 100 days other than a huge success.
I mean, I know what you're talking about in terms of the polling and the approval rating,
but look at the president's two top issues, immigration and inflation.
Border crossings are down 99%.
I spoke with President Trump on Sunday.
He told me three people were apprehended at the border in the month of April,
compared with 248,000 in the month last year, one year ago, that's the, you know, migration and
immigration story. Now let's take a look at inflation. You and I talked about eggs a long time ago.
The price of eggs are down 50%. Look at where mortgage rates are down. Look at oil prices are down.
So when you take a look at what President Trump said that he was going to do, it is a huge success
in terms of these first 100 days.
And I've said it time and time again,
the true success in judgment
will come for President Trump
during the midterms.
I think that's more than enough time
to give him a fair assessment
of his plan, his strategy, his promises,
what have been the actual impact of those promises
because the first 100 days, that just isn't enough.
Okay, but next year, at this same time,
let's see where we are as a country,
and I'm confident we're going to be in a better place.
Now, earlier today, there was a lot of drama because Amazon was accused of attempting to place a tariff price notice on their website to warn customers when they are buying a product that has been impacted by tariffs.
Listen to this.
A new report from Punch Bowl News says that Amazon is looking to avoid the blame for raising prices as a result of President Trump's new tariffs.
The e-commerce giant will begin displaying how much the tariffs are adding to the price of its good right next to the products list price.
That's something we heard from Volkswagen originally as soon as these tariffs were announced,
and I wouldn't be surprised to see lots of retailers kind of show you a line item of what exactly it's costing you
because they don't want to be accused of gouging.
And you know they will be.
Now, that's not the actual story.
The story is that the White House didn't take it very well, and they lashed out and slammed Amazon for even considering this.
Listen.
It was reported this morning that Amazon will soon display a little number next to the president.
price of each product that shows how much the Trump tariffs are adding to the cost of each
product. So isn't that a perfect crystal clear demonstration that it's the American consumer
and not China who is going to have to pay for these policies? I will take this since I just got
off the phone with the president about Amazon's announcement. This is a hostile and political
act by Amazon. Why did Amazon do this when the Biden administration hiked inflation to the
highest level in 40 years. And I would also add that it's not a surprise because as
Reuters recently wrote, Amazon has partnered with a Chinese propaganda arm. So this is another
reason why Americans should buy American. It's another reason why we are onshoreing critical
supply chains here at home to shore up our own critical supply chain and boost our own manufacturing
here. Now, people on the left are going to slam the White House for even making those remarks about
Amazon and calling them the propaganda arm of China. But if you actually dive into the numbers,
there may be some truth to that. Here is a graph on our screen titled percent of top Amazon
sellers who are based in China. If we go all the way back to 2016, it was at 15%. You know where we
are today? 49 percent, which means half of the sellers on Amazon are based in China selling
Chinese goods. Now, I already showed you in a couple of videos ago where Americans don't support that.
They want to buy American-made products. But if the American-made products are not available,
what choice do they have? Now, this story was published by Punch Bowl News. They wrote up a whole
article about it. And what's interesting is that Amazon had to come out once White House
obviously slammed them for doing this and denied this entire report. Amazon is responding.
to the report saying it's team that runs the ultra-low-cost Amazon Hall Store has considered
listing import charges on certain products. Amazon reportedly says it was never considered for the
main Amazon site and nothing has been implemented on any Amazon properties. Looking at Amazon
shares right now, they are down nearly 1%. So either one, they actually did plan to do this
and finally realize it was a terrible decision or two, this is fake news once again. Who really
knows, right? But this is what the media is saying today. Which takes us to our next story.
They're also continuing to talk about President Trump's poll numbers. But this time, they're
focusing on how people feel from both sides of the political spectrum. And I think it might
surprise you. Take a listen. If you're a Democrat, you're frustrated, you're disappointed,
and you are angry. Now, the next night, we went over to our friends who were Republicans,
they tend to be optimistic, fired up, proud, and inspired.
However, if you really look at those numbers really, really closely, though,
it shows the divide in the Republican Party
because they are not nearly as inspired or proud or fired up
as you would expect them to be, you know, marking this 100 days,
given the fact that Donald Trump has done everything he said he's going to do
when he came at the office.
But again, it shows the divide between the old guard
and the MAGA Republicans that we now see who have taken over the party.
All right, so let's just shoot it straight.
Polls are obviously a snapshot in time.
Now, when there are polls that favor Trump, we talk about it.
And when there are polls that don't favor him, we're going to talk about it, right?
And at the end of the day, we know most Trump supporters are not doing polls, okay?
That's why I love it when they actually go to the person, like I showed you in the beginning of this video, get him on camera and hear exactly what they have to say.
I think that is so much more credible.
Now, Scott Besson actually confirms something that is huge.
Once again, they are looking to use tariffs as a way to offset cutting people's income tax.
Here for yourself.
The question is, what is the White House's ultimate objective here?
Do you want to have long-term tariff revenue or deals that might reduce those tariffs?
I think it's a combination of both.
So we're going to take in long-term tariff revenue.
We put a process in place.
We have 18 important trading relationships.
We will be speaking to all of those partners, or at least 17 of them over the next few weeks.
Many of them have already come to Washington.
What President Trump is referring to is the ability for tariff revenue to give income tax relief.
And I think there's a very good chance that we will see this in the upcoming tax bill.
The president campaigned on no tax on tips, no tax on Social Security, no tax on overtime,
and the restoring interest deductibility for autos, for American-made autos.
So a tariff income could be used for tax relief on all of those immediately.
Now just imagine that if no tax on tips, Social Security, and overtime are actually signed into law,
and people are experiencing those policies before the midterms,
there'll be a huge win for Republicans.
And maybe that's why President Trump isn't really concerned about these polls.
My understanding is they are on the brink of announcing a bunch of things,
both with private companies and also with other countries,
that they will then point to and say, see, the strategy is working.
You just got to give us a little time.
What might be enough in that area?
What would be a type of thing that would satisfy, you think, people?
Well, I think if you started rolling out agreements with our allies,
I mean, there's like 17 to 20 countries that really matter.
If you started rolling out agreements with them,
and you started also to see more private companies saying,
we're going to continue to invest in America, we're investing more in America,
jobs going here, investments going there.
I think that would give people the sense that, hey, there is a method here.
There's a plan in all of this.
And that begins to then lend itself to the idea that there's a trajectory that we're on.
That down the line, you can see that it's going to be working.
So I think if you see some of this movement, some of these announcements,
I think that will help with the economic numbers.
I don't really think Trump is the kind of person who gets freaked out by the poll.
holds, frankly. I think he's quite confident in what he's doing. I don't sense a lot of panic
over at the White House. And I don't really think they think the 100-day mark, which is arbitrary,
you know, we talk about it. But it's arbitrary to them is something that they were looking at as a
deadline for any of this to be done. That's a very good point. I wonder who came up with the first
100 days, right? Obviously, mainstream media is doing it because it helps them get clicked
and it allows them to structure a particular narrative. But I really think the first benchmark is not
the first 100 days, it's the midterms next year. So we'll see where we're at as a country
when that time comes. Now, here is Speaker Johnson this morning, continuing to highlight the
accomplishments of President Trump's first 100 days. He is the most consequential American
leader of the 21st century, and that's an understatement. A President Trump has, here's a list,
remove men from women's sports, into DEI and the federal government and the U.S. military,
expanded oil and gas extraction to lower prices, taking steps to
in unfair trade practices. Secure trillions of dollars in new investments in American manufacturing.
Deported criminal illegal aliens, stood up for religious liberty, and rooted out anti-Christian
bias, combated virulent anti-Semitism on college campuses. The list goes on and on and on.
That's just barely scratching the service. That's in a hundred days. We're just getting started.
So I think the most important question I have is for you. In the comments section,
why don't you share your assessment of President Trump's first 100 days? Think of
about energy, immigration, the economy, foreign policy, even the federal government, fraud, waste, and abuse.
Let me know how you feel about everything he's done up to this point. Put it in the comments section below.
Now, yesterday, there was a Democrat congressman who has threatened articles of impeachment for President Trump.
This comes as no surprise because really this is all they have left. Also, governor of Illinois, J.B. Pritzker, gets fact-checked by Stephen Miller.
If you missed out on both of those stories from yesterday, all you have to do is click on that video because it's coming up right now.
