All right, so Main Tree Media is freaking out over the pardons that President Trump just issued.
Also, Marco Rubio just made a big decision regarding student visas and Cash Patel rips into James Comey in his interview with Fox News.
We start with an incoming pardon for Todd and Julie Crissley.
Two reality TV stars from the show, Chrisley knows best.
They were sentenced two years in prison for bank fraud and tax evasion.
After being caught in a scheme involving fake bank records and documents used to secure loans and rental agreements.
all while using a film production company to hide income from the IRS.
All right.
So bottom line up front, President Trump is not abused in his pardon power.
That's exactly what Democrats in Main Shore Media want you to believe.
In fact, it's the only power that is unmatched and cannot be challenged.
That's the interesting thing about pardons.
And we know that because look at what Joe Biden did when he walked out the door,
there's nothing we could do about the pardons that he had issued.
so Julie here who got seven years and her husband Todd who got 12 they are now going home and yes they did commit crimes and yes they did serve time but there is an interesting fact that CNN left out in that nice little intro there and that is that there was a whistleblower complaint in 2023 that alleged that the IRS selectively targeted them not because there was actual crimes but because it was for fame and headlines now of course
CNN is so obsessed with President Trump and these pardons, here they are calling them all out.
We saw the president earlier in the Oval Office, and clearly since then there has been a lot of
use of the president's pardon power that has been happening here at the White House because
we already knew about some of these key names, the Crisleys, as we reported on yesterday,
the president called to inform their daughter that her parents would be getting a pardon.
We should expect to see at least one of them leave prison as soon as today.
Also Michael Grimm, the former New York congressman, who has been pardoned as well.
But we're also just getting a list of a slew of other names.
Jake, the president has now pardoned.
That includes the former governor of Connecticut, John Rowland, who was twice convicted.
It also includes a rapper who goes by the name of NBA Young Boy.
He was convicted in some federal gun crimes cases.
And a slew of other names on here as well, Jake, Kevin Baysden, Mark Bishaw, Tanner Mansell, and John Moore, Jr.
A few of those names at the end that may not be household names, but clearly each have individual reasons why the president has chosen to grant him clemency.
with this power and to use the power that every president has and certainly President Biden himself
we saw using on his way out of the White House as well. But President Trump's what's notable here,
Jake, in addition to the names that you just read off and clearly the connections that they have
politically when it comes to this president is seeing such a slew of pardons so early on in the
administration. You see, that's why you have to pay attention to their language because the words
they do matter. She said, yeah, you know, Joe Biden, he also used pardons when he walked out the
door. But what's notable about President Trump is all the partners he's issued early into his
administration. Is that really a story, folks? I mean, just look at the numbers on the screen.
Right? I mean, no one's going to touch Joe Biden. Let's be real. And also, this is an issue
that on both sides of the political spectrum, we just don't see eye to eye on this. Take a look at
this exchange. Look, this is what the MAGA thing is all about. The first effect, I think was a good thing.
I think we over-sentence too much in this country for non-violent crimes.
Tax evasion, I'm not saying it's a good thing, but you should be able to pay a fee for that and move on.
In this particular case of the sheriff, I don't know anyone who was harmed by his act.
I'm not saying that the act was okay, moral, or ethical.
I don't agree with it, but should he be sentenced to 10 years any more than the Crissies or the individual in Florida?
Pay your fine and move on.
This isn't a Ponzi scheme.
They didn't murder anyone.
They didn't rob anyone necessarily.
I mean, they did rob people.
I view this a little differently.
people would argue that when even white-collar crimes is a form of cheating, and usually there are
victims, there are people who are hurt by these.
A ponds and schemes, sure, but in the case of Florida, the gentleman actually paid back
the $10 million that he owed, and the judge actually considered that, but decided to sentence
him anyway.
According to the White House, the president is correcting the excessive prosecution and
ridiculous, you know, sentences that people receive for white-collar crimes under the Biden
administration. Now, again, you can disagree with the president on this. It's totally fine. But in the
end, it's relevant. He has the pardon power, and there's nothing me, you, or anybody can do about
it. So sitting there and debating this, I think, is actually a waste of energy. There's plenty of
other things that they should be focused on. Who he's pardoning, based on the names that we've seen,
I don't think is really worth a story. But that's my own personal opinion about it. Now,
this story is definitely worthy of a debate, and that is the Trump administration freezing
all foreign student visa interviews. So Marco Rubio definitely kept his word. He is not honoring
any student visas at this moment. Let's hear more on that. The State Department is now no longer
scheduling visa interviews for foreign students who wish to study here in the U.S. But the administration
says those interviews will resume once it can implement expanded screening of applicants' social media
posts, adding that this pause does not impact international students whose interviews are already
on the books. But the new move from Secretary of State Marco Rubio comes amid an escalating
legal fight with Harvard over the university's ability to enroll foreign students and as uncertainty
remains about the legal status of thousands of foreign students across the nation. But the administration
saying all of this is justified in order to combat anti-Semitism. Okay, so like every decision
that comes out of the White House, there will be someone who is negatively impacted, and mainstream
media will always focus on them first. They're not going to focus on the people that caused this
to happen in the first place, which is Harvard University and others, of course, their incompetence
when it came to rooting out anti-Semitism on their campus, which led to their president resigning.
So let's remember the context here, people. Now, I'm going to let you guys see what one side is saying,
which is MSDNC, you know, they're playing the victim and they're focusing on the people who are negatively
impacted. Take a look. Harvard has been the most vocal about opposing President Trump's demands for
universities, and so that school has also faced the most what appears to be retribution.
Has Harvard's approach been effective in your view?
Well, it's not a matter of being effective. It's the only possible approach.
They're going to smash the universities. All dictators smash universities.
Well, the alternative is capitulation.
It's agreeing to the terms that the administration lays out, which we saw with universities like Columbia.
Yeah, Columbia's had three presidents in 12 months.
Nothing like this has ever happened in U.S. history.
So Columbia is barely the last president, the president who capitulated Katrina Armstrong was fired immediately as soon as she said that it wasn't going to be as extreme as the,
as the terms suggested.
So universities can.
I mean, you know, I mean, Russia has universities, I suppose.
Harvard could be a university in Russia.
But, you know, I mean, they're going to try to stuff universities with Trump supporters.
Okay.
I want you guys to understand who this guy is.
Jason Stanley.
He was a professor at Yale.
His whole mantra right now is selling books based on the idea that, one, he's fleeing America,
which he took a job at the University of Toronto.
But number two, that he writes on or about fascism.
So, of course, that's who he has labeled President Trump to be.
And so I don't value his opinion whatsoever.
I don't think he provided any intellectual argument there, just a lot of talking points.
But I just found it funny that a professor with his level of education would speak that way.
So you're telling me that the president wants to stuff these universities with Trump supporters?
that's your intellectual response to this?
It's fascinating.
All right.
So let's hear from another, okay, so let's hear from a professor from Harvard, who is a
conservative and his viewpoint on this.
Take a look.
Sure.
I mean, the whole point of this is not just to get through the crisis.
The whole point is to actually see it as an opportunity for change, for growth.
That's what we should all do in our lives and every organization should do.
When you have a bad crisis, when you have a big problem, you say, what's the opportunity
for us to actually improve. That's how universities need to think. And you're exactly correct.
Look, I'm a conservative. I've been a political conservative in my whole career. I ran the American
Enterprise Institute for Pete's sake. And they've been very good to me at Harvard. They've been
very open to me at Harvard. But the truth of the matter is we need more people that actually think
differently than the masses. We need more people than just sort of 20 to one liberals to conservatives.
And we need to be on top of that and see this as an opportunity to get more ideological balance.
Why? Not because we believe that you have to go one to one in fairness. None of that. We don't
need affirmative action for conservatives, but because when your liberal ideas on campus are not
challenged, your education is mediocre. And that's just not right. Yep, he hit the nail on the
head there. Now, before we go to our next story, which is Cash Patel versus James Comey, hear this message
from today's sponsor. You see, President Trump started this trade war with China for a good reason,
But that did not stop people like Warren Buffett and other billionaires from dumping billions of dollars in stocks.
And this is why I trust Claudio Mendo's groups to help people like you do the same thing, which is what?

Okay, so let's go to our next story, and this is James Comey versus Cash Patel.
And of course, Casper-Tel rips them a new one because it is being reported.
The FBI is launching investigations into unsolved cases like the cocaine at the White House all the way to the January 6th pipe bomber.
And of course, James Comey feels the need to make an appearance on staying in this morning to give his reaction.
Take a look.
The FBI says it's stepping up investigations into several unsolved cases of what it calls potential public corruption.
And those include the discovery of cocaine at the White House, pipe bonds placed near the DNC and RNC headquarters here in Washington just before January 6th, the insurrection, and the leak of the U.S. Supreme Court's decision overturning Roe v.
Here to discuss this and more, the former FBI director James Comey.
He's also the author, by the way, of a new novel entitled FDR Drive.
And we'll talk about that in a moment, Director Comey.
Thanks so much for writing this book, an excellent read indeed.
But let's talk a little bit about the FBI decision to go ahead and reopen these cases,
which have been something supported by a lot of conservatives out there.
What do you make of this?
It's a little confusing to me, honestly.
I'm sure it's a huge adjustment to go from being a podcaster to be in the day.
Deputy Director of the FBI, but I don't understand this tweet. First of all, I assume that
the investigation of the pipe bomb that was found on January 6th was never closed. The FBI never
closes such a thing, so I guess it means they're going to focus on it more. And as to the
other things, I thought the Supreme Court Marshall had investigated the leak of the opinion,
the draft opinion. I don't know what the FBI's role is there. Cocaine at the White
House, I thought the Secret Service investigated that, so I don't follow it. And
understand it. I also don't understand who the audience is for this tweet. The FBI often calls for
public assistance or in matters of great public concern will announce an investigation to reassure
the public. This seems much more narrowly targeted, maybe to a former podcast audience. Okay,
well, tell me how you really feel about Cash Patel, right? He calls him a podcaster and that
everything he is doing here is for a podcasting audience. Now, what the former director fails to
understand is that clear-cut answers were never given to the public about a lot of these
issues. And let's say I agree with him on half. Let's say 50% of what he says is true. Okay.
Still, the cocaine in the White House, what's going on there? We never got an answer. Okay,
the January 6th pipe bomber, we never got an answer. Now, he would have been better off just coming
out and stating, hey, Cash Patel, why don't you guys focus on the Epstein files if you really
want to make a splash.
And I don't think anybody would disagree with him.
But clearly he has Cash Patel derangement syndrome, so he wasn't able to provide a response
rooted in common sense.
Now, here is what Cash Patel had to say in response.
Take a look.
If he wants to come after me, no problem.
I've been living rent-free in that guy's head for years, and that's just a bonus.
Do you know how many copycats we've had to investigate as a result of that beachside venture
from the former director?
Is that right?
Do you know how many agents I've had to take offline from chasing down child sex predators,
fentanyl traffickers, terrorists, because everywhere across this country, people are popping up on social media
and think that a threat to their life of the president of the United States is a joke
and they can do it because he did it.
That's what I'm having to deal with every single day.
And that's what I'm having to pull my agents and analysts off because he thought it was funny
to go out there and make a political statement.
Okay, so he makes a good point.
I mean, people on the left, they're unhinged.
Okay, they take those posts, I guess Comey was saying it was a joke, these statements, especially
this political rhetoric, and what has happened on the left?
They've gotten violent.
You don't have to look any further than what happened with Tesla and Elon Musk.
Okay?
These people are violent.
There's no question.
And then tack on the three assassination attempts against President Trump last year.
So maybe the former director should, I don't know, be a little bit more smart about posting things like that.
Now, here is Caroline, the White House press secretary, and what she had to say about this announcement from the FBI.
Take a look.
Yes, all of those announcements coming from the FBI, Cash Patel, and of course our great attorney general, Pam Bondi, who is committed to the truth, Sean, just like President Trump and his entire administration and committed to an unprecedented level of access and transparency that is led by President.
Trump at the White House every day.
He takes questions from the press.
He talks directly and honestly and candidly about the problems and the challenges he is solving,
not just here at home, but also abroad.
And he's demanding answers.
Okay, that's exactly what you would expect your White House press secretary to say.
That's number one.
Number two, what she failed to say or even speak about were the Epstein files.
So you claim you guys are transparent, but you're not talking about that.
And that is a fatal mistake, in my opinion, that either it was Pam Bondi or Cash Patel, whoever made the announcement that, yes, we are going to push these Epstein files and we're going to show it to everyone.
Well, we see how that turned out.
Don't promise and under-deliver, especially on something like that.
And I still today think it's a stain on their credibility.
So I don't really buy anything that Cash Patel or Pam Bondi says on Fox News because I just look for the actions.
tells me the story. So that's a great presentation from Caroline, but the results say otherwise.
Now, here is MSDNC, because I tell you, I'm going to show you what both sides are saying,
and they're just angry that the FBI is investigating these cases. Take a look.
So at face value, of course, people catching this quickly in the evening news with their
lives going on around them, they may say, what's wrong with that? We all want this solved.
Let's get to it. Let's figure out who's cocaine.
was at the White House. Let's solve the pipe bombs placed on the night of January 5th.
Let's figure out who leaked the Dobbs draft from the Supreme Court. Sure, but you've got to
understand, as you said first, what's not getting done in the FBI's national security priorities,
public corruption, organized crime, violent gangs, number one. Number two, what's really behind
all of this posturing by the deputy director of the FBI? He's got to make good on the promises
that Cash Patel, the director, and himself made in their podcasts, their books, their public appearances,
where they said, I believe in the following conspiracies.
I believe the FBI is hiding who the pipe bomber is.
I believe that some liberal Democrat leaked the Dobbs draft out of the Supreme Court,
et cetera, et cetera.
Okay, you know what?
I absolutely agree with them.
I think they are trying to make good on a lot of their promises.
And guys, I'm a shooting.
it straight. Okay, if you have been saying for the last five years that you're going to do
X, Y, or Z, and now you're in charge and you're able to do X, Y, and Z, and you haven't been
doing X, Y, and Z, I'm going to call you out. So I agree with him on that one, but what I don't agree
with him on is this whole idea that, I guess, Cash Retail is taking away resources.
Let's not forget that you guys allocated 60% of the FBI to go after January 6 individuals.
So I don't think he has a leg to stand on when it comes to criticizing how Cash Potent.
is dishing out resources, okay?
So there's that.
Okay, so let's get your guys' reaction
in the comments section below.
One, to President Trump issuing these pardons,
do you believe that he's abusing his pardon power?
And then number two,
do you think it's a smart move
for the Trump administration to pause
visa applications for students
looking to go to college here?
And finally, James Comey and Cash Patel.
Do you agree with my assessment
that, you know, the FBI
and their credibility
is really low right now. They've made a lot of promises and they have not delivered.
Let me know if you see things the same way. Put your answers in the comments section below.
Okay, so two things happened yesterday that you're going to want to take a look at.
One, Tom Holman, ripping into the Nashville mayor, who's under investigation for helping
illegal aliens evade arrest, and RFK Jr., particularly HHS, making a bombshell announcement about
vaccines for children. If you miss out on those stories, all you have to do is click on that
video because it's coming up right now.
You know,
