Starting point is 00:00:00 In today's video, we have breaking news. Minnesota authorities are seeking to criminally prosecute an ICE agent over a traffic dispute. Justice Jackson just embarrassed herself as she attacked her conservative colleagues on the Supreme Court. And finally, President Trump has secured a major win by brokering a ceasefire deal between Israel and Lebanon. So much to get to in this video. But let's start with this attorney out of Minnesota. Take a listen. Critics call her America's wokeest prosecutor. Minnesota's Hennepin County attorney, Mary Moray.
Starting point is 00:00:30 is targeting an ICE agent with multiple charges, including assault for pointing his gun after someone cut him off in traffic. Here she is just today. Yeah, Harris-Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty's office has issued a nationwide arrest warrant for this ICE officer who's now facing up to 14 years in prison for allegedly pointing his gun at two people during rush hour traffic. This happened back in February and according to the criminal complaint, 35-year-old ICE agent Gregory Morgan Jr. was in an unmarked, SUV speeding down the shoulder of the highway flying by all of the traffic when the alleged victims briefly pulled out into the shoulder to cut him off. The agent responded by pulling up next to their car, rolling down his window and pointing his gun at them. Moriarty told the Star Tribune, the agent later told State Patrol he thought those individuals were agitators who were
Starting point is 00:01:20 trying to cut him off because they knew he was a federal agent. The county attorney says the evidence doesn't support that and that her office is ready for a tough legal fight. This is exactly what you get with progressives in their machine, which is to use local justice system to sabotage federal law enforcement. We know how they feel about defunding the police. We absolutely know how they feel about ICE agents. So no surprise here that this attorney isn't just prosecuting real criminals. No, she wants to prosecute ICE agents who are doing their constitutional duty all over a traffic dispute. Yes, you heard me correctly, a traffic dispute. Now, imagine if a police officer did the same thing, would he be criminally prosecuted or would, or would he just be suspended? I think you guys
Starting point is 00:02:07 know the answer to that question, if at all, I guess. Let's go here. Today's charges reflect an important milestone in our efforts to seek accountability for the harms inflicted on our community during Operation Metro Surge. Our community is still navigating the effects of the federal occupation. I drew daily inspiration from the courage of Minnesotans and the care that they showed for each other during Metro Surge. Our work continues on all fronts, from the killings of Ms. Good and Mr. Preddy to the shooting of Mr. Sosa-Solise, to the incidents being investigated by our transparency and accountability project or tap. We will not rest until we get the answers we seek about federal agent conduct across
Starting point is 00:02:56 Hennepin County and accountability is delivered wherever appropriate. Thank you. Questions? So I have a few observations here. Number one, notice how they do this whole song and dance regarding a traffic dispute between an American citizen and an ICE agent. But they have nothing to say when American citizen is killed by illegal aliens. They don't hold press conferences.
Starting point is 00:03:22 You don't hear from the DA or prosecutors. Nothing. In some cases, they don't even take up the case. Or some cases, they are the reason the murder happened because they released the illegal back onto the streets. So that's the first thing. Now, secondly, we cannot be surprised here because progressives in America believe in inequality.
Starting point is 00:03:41 And not the way that they say it. The really root definition of this is very clear. They don't believe white people, law and law. or even our institutions are equal, meaning that if you're black, you're a person of color or you're an illegal alien, you're much more important than a white person. Does that make sense? And what they're doing here is another example of that ideology where they're going after law enforcement because they believe this is a way to create equality in our country, which I would obviously disagree with, but, you know, that's the way that they see it. And finally,
Starting point is 00:04:20 which I think is a more important question, can they even legally do this? Watch. That's one of the big questions around this case. Can the state even bring these charges, given that the Supremacy Clause protects federal agents from state prosecution for actions taken during their official duties? Here's law professor Jonathan Turley on that this past hour. These federal officers do have immunity, not absolute immunity, but the standard is very generous. This is not a particularly serious. offense in the sense of this was the brandishing of a weapon. But the court will have to decide if this was within the discretion of the officer given the context. It's not clear what will happen now to
Starting point is 00:05:02 the ICE agent who has been charged. DHS hasn't said anything about how or if they're going to fight this because while this is the first time and the agent has been criminally charged for Operation Metro Surge, Moriarty says it likely will not be the last. Okay, let's take a moment because I want to tell you about my friends at Alliance defending freedom. ADF is a Christian legal ministry dedicated to advancing free speech, religious freedom, the sanctity of life, parental rights, and God's design for marriage and family. What does this really mean? Well, they've scored huge legal victories like helping to topple Roy versus Wade
Starting point is 00:05:36 and securing a landmark free speech win at the Supreme Court on behalf of graphic designer Lori Smith. And you know what else they're fighting? Some of our culture's most pressing. from the protection of women's sports to stopping male order abortion drugs. Yes, this is serious stuff. That's why ADF relies on the generous support of people like you and me to protect freedom in the courtroom and the culture.
Starting point is 00:06:01 And the way this all happens is that every dollar you give to ADF will be matched. That means $25 can become $50, $50 becomes $100 only while they're matching funds less. So what do you have to do? Go to join ADF.com 4 slash darkens or text darkens to 838-48 to have your gift to ADF matched. Again, the link is in the description below or you can text darkens to 838-48-48 to ADF. Yeah, and that's the frightening scenario that is upon us. And we've talked about it quite some time on the show that Democrats in particular will seek to use the justice system to prosecute people that they disagree with. That's the bottom line.
Starting point is 00:06:44 They did it with the president already, and they will do it when he leaves office, and they will try to do it over the next two years when they at least win one of the chambers in Congress. So buckle up. And I guess this next story is a great segue because it proves what I just said, because at the highest court of the land, we have people sitting on the Supreme Court who might just entertain that thing, like Justice Jackson, who also came out publicly. But her statement versus Justice Clarence Thomas yesterday, who talked more about the Declaration of Independence and the problem with progressivism in our country, she didn't go down that route. She went down the route of actually attacking the court itself.
Starting point is 00:07:27 Take a listen. Today, the court routinely opts to enter the fray. And it fails to acknowledge the harms that follow when the Supreme Court of the United States consistently and casually divest the, lower courts of their equitable authority. The court's stay decisions can at times come across utterly irrational. We cannot expect the public to have faith in our judicial system if without clear explanation, we consistently green light harmful acts that do real damage. Okay, so a great deal of our time was spending not only attacking the court but also attacking the processes they've been using under the Trump administration.
Starting point is 00:08:11 Let me just give you guys a quick reminder here. When you look at the percentages of the court ruling against the president based on the court level, so lower court, appeals court, Supreme Court, lower court has ruled against the president 90% of the time. But if you go up to the Supreme Court, they've only ruled against the president 30% of the time. So there's definitely a huge disconnect between what the lower court is interpreting regarding the U.S. Constitution and their powers. then once it gets up to the Supreme Court, the way that they're handling that. Now, obviously, I'm not the legal expert. I'm not even going to pretend to be.
Starting point is 00:08:46 But I will say this. Progressivism, like Clarence Thomas talked about yesterday, is really a danger to our Declaration of Independence. It's a danger to the foundation of what our country has been built upon because people like Justice Jackson believe that it's upon the government to decide what is equal. It's the government who decides what is right and wrong. and the consent of the people do not exist in that equation. All you have to do is look in her rulings.
Starting point is 00:09:15 All right, let's continue. Watch this. She's critical of the country, and she's critical of her own court. And she's critical of the fact that the Supreme Court's been a backstop to fix some of these lower court decisions. And when she says harmful acts, what she's talking about is the Supreme Court allowing the president of the United States to exercise his executive authority. You know, I got to tell you, Brian, the speech that she gave here, it took some serious hoods, but she's only been on the court for a couple of years. She's the most junior member of the court, and yet she went to Yale and gave a speech where she says, basically, my colleagues are getting it all wrong. And I can be the catalyst for change.
Starting point is 00:09:55 And you have to remember, Kataji Brown Jackson has basically been a rubber stamp for the lower courts that are just blocking every single thing that the Trump administration is trying to do. And we just look at the results. What she just said is a fact. Justice Jackson is the only justice on that court at this point in time that is always ruled in favor of the lower court. In fact, there are times where her colleagues that align with her politically, they're not even on the same page. There were times where they were criticizing each other because of how radical Justice Jackson really is. And we already know why she's on that Supreme Court bench to begin with, which is really an unfortunate thing. And when she is the loudest person who speaks the most and has the least experience, you can tell she's going to say a lot of ignorant things. I think that's a fair statement.
Starting point is 00:10:43 And I think that's overall a life lesson. Of course, there's a difference of opinion here, right? So let's go to MS disinformation. They're celebrating this. Watch. Can I start by giving them credit? Is that allowed? Because it's actually quite amazing that they're now doing this on C-SPAN and in recorded speeches for,
Starting point is 00:11:03 a very long time. They would give speeches that were totally off the record, and then reporters like Lisa and I would be scrambling, trying to figure out if there was a transcript and the court wouldn't release it. I mean, at least now, like, they're putting it out there, so a little tiny bit of credit for that. It's a really interesting thing to contrast the two speeches. Justice Jackson was talking about a procedural problem with the so-called shadow docket and the ways in which it's really kind of short-circuiting legal processes and creating confusion and setting bad precedent. Clarence Thomas just wanted us to know he kind of hated the progressive movement.
Starting point is 00:11:44 Now, who's shocked that they would laugh at Justice Clarence Thomas's speech? It's really fascinating. And when you really look into the history of progressivism, this isn't the first time. This is throughout our entire history. there's always been a faction politically that has seeked to overturn the U.S. Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, and literally usurp the meaning of it all. I mean, it makes sense because, you know, in life, there's always an opposite to everything. And progressives aren't opposite to the founding fathers and what they believe this country is built upon. And so we could talk about that until we're blue in the face and you could see pundits on the news laugh at that.
Starting point is 00:12:26 But it's a serious thing. and we're looking at it manifests in disastrous policies throughout our country. All right, let's end this by this clip. It's in relation overall to the Supreme Court, which I thought was stunning. The president acknowledging, before his term is up, there could be two new Supreme Court justices that end up replacing ones that will choose to retire. Take a list. It's probably not easy to give up for people, you know.
Starting point is 00:12:53 They reach a certain age. Ginsburg could not do it. And she really hurt herself within the Democrat Party. People are very angry at her because I got to appoint people instead of Biden. So you don't know if you're going to be naming, putting another nomination forward. Okay, Mr. President, you've got a big meeting. It's possible. You know, in theory, in theory, it's two or three, they tell me.
Starting point is 00:13:16 If you just read statistics, it could be two, could be three, could be one. I don't know. I'm prepared to do it. But when you mention Alito, he is a great justice. Yeah, I mean, there's only two years and some change left. I think it's a small chance that we will actually see one Supreme Court retire, but maybe that will happen. And we'll see what the president decides to do if that actually takes place. Let's go to our next story. Speaking of the president, he's celebrating a major win in regards to opening up the straight of her moves, getting the country of Iran to acknowledge that and broken a ceasefire deal between Israel and Lebanon. Let's hear more of this story. Take a listen. We're just getting this in. So bear with us. Strait of Hormuz is on the screen for a reason. The Iranian foreign minister, who seems to be really the guy in charge, really is publicly for Iran, just fired this off in a post on X, and I'm going to read it for you now.
Starting point is 00:14:13 In line with the ceasefire in Lebanon, the passage for all commercial vessels through Strait of Hormuz is declared completely open for the remaining period of ceasefire on the coordinated route as already announced by ports and maritime organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran. So on that news, the stock market is flying through the roof. That opens in 28 minutes, so we'll watch that. Now, while this is happening, the U.S. is brokered a 10-day ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon.
Starting point is 00:14:42 Apparently, that was one of the conditions that Iran wanted. So the president's saying that he may host both countries at the White House, in hopes of striking a lasting truce there. So a lot to go through. We'll take it moment by moment here. All right. So bottom line up front is that if you support what the president's been doing here, you're calling this a major win. If you're against the president on this, you are undermining this. You're minimizing this. And you're pretty much saying that this is a nothing burger and really isn't going to hold. Okay. So let me just lay that down for you. Now, I will say this. I find it interesting that the foreign minister of the country of Iran is coming out and acknowledging that the traitor Hermose will be open due to the fact that the ceasefire
Starting point is 00:15:24 between Israel and Lebanon is now in effect, which essentially was led by the United States of America. And we'll show you the post of what the president had to say, where he essentially is prohibiting Israel from executing any more strikes. So that is a huge development. And again, I would argue that's a major one for the president, given everything that's happened over the past two weeks. Let's go to more of that statement from the foreign minister. Take a listen.
Starting point is 00:15:50 for you, the foreign minister's statement so that you get the full picture here of what Iran has said, which has really changed the landscape of this day. In line with the ceasefire in Lebanon, the passage for all commercial vessels through the Strait of Hormuz is declared completely open for the remaining period of ceasefire on the coordinated route as already announced by ports and maritime organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran. What that means, unpacking the nuance, is that all ships, all commercial ships, are permitted to go through the Strait of Hormuz with coordination with Iran, as has been the case up to this point. But now all ships are able to transit through without any threat coming from Iran as long as a ceasefire is in place.
Starting point is 00:16:33 So what exactly does that mean when you hear it put that way? Iran is begging for mercy. They are completely out of leverage, out of money, and out of time. And they've tried to play a game with the president, in my opinion, called chicken, and they essentially lost. I mean, because at the end of the day, when the president was preventing them from accessing that trade so they could trade, it was suffocating their economy. So the reality is this. You don't ask for permission. You don't negotiate from your knees. You project with absolute power. That's exactly what the president's doing here. Again, you don't have to support this whole conflict to at least support what's happening in this particular situation. But anyways, It brings us to probably one of the most important questions.
Starting point is 00:17:15 What about the uranium, right? What about Iran's nuclear program? Where do we go from here? Well, according to the president, there's some deal that is going to take place. And obviously, they have not released all the details of that. So we'll see. But here's what News Nation had to say about that. Take a listen.
Starting point is 00:17:33 So I just got off the phone with President Donald Trump. We're traveling with him here in Las Vegas. And he's been posting, as you mentioned, to True Social quite a lot this morning. about Iran. So I called him and got right to the point asking if Iran agreed to stop enriching uranium, which is a major sticking point. This is something that even just days ago was something that they weren't saying they would give up to get this deal. He told me that they did agree to that. I said, did they stop enriching uranium? They agree to that. And he said, they agreed to everything. He told me. He asked me, are you surprised? And I asked him if he's surprised. He said, quote,
Starting point is 00:18:12 I'm not surprised by anything, and then he said, I'll see you later. We'll be traveling with him on the plane to Arizona. So we hope to get more questions on camera with the president, possibly as he's in transit from Las Vegas to Phoenix, Arizona, because this seems like there's been some sort of conversation, some sort of movement overnight into the morning. He's been up posting for the last two hours or so and feeling as though this is going in the direction of some sort of piece deal,
Starting point is 00:18:42 maybe even being able to be signed sometime over this weekend is what he was saying, as well as saying that he would maybe even be there in Pakistan in person is something. He's also floated in the last 24. So the bottom line is this. Iran, we'll see, agreed to stop enriching uranium, period. Not in exchange for pallets of cash, but in exchange for their own survival, meaning the president here has squeezed them until they were finally able to crack, which took quite a bit.
Starting point is 00:19:09 I mean, by the way, we're still in the middle of a ceasefire. this isn't officially over. So keep that in your mind. And one could argue trying to come up with some paper agreement did not work, won't work with this regime. So by obliterating their capability, by bringing them to their knees economically, by choking them out of the straighter hum moose, I think the president has reached a certain level of leverage over this regime.
Starting point is 00:19:34 Now, we'll see if it holds. We'll see if it works. We'll let the result do the talking. But if I'm just looking at this particular snapshot in time, that's how I see all this. All right, let's go to this particular clip. President Trump is saying the United States will not give Iran $20 billion for them to fork over leftover uranium, despite an Axios report this morning suggesting that that is one of the United States offers to Iran that they might make at peace talks in Pakistan. The president said the USA will get all nuclear dust created by our great B2 bombers,
Starting point is 00:20:09 No money will exchange hands in any way, shape, or form. And he's talking about this in Battleground, Nevada. I will say the war in Iran is going along swimmingly. We can do whatever we want. And it should be ending pretty soon. It was perfect. Not perfect. The friendship with NATO.
Starting point is 00:20:34 The president writes, now that the Hormu's straight situation is over, I received a call from NATO asking if we would need some help. I told them to stay away unless they just want to load up their ships with oil. They were useless when needed a paper tiger. Within the next three or four days, the president says, says we should expect to see Israel and Lebanon together at the White House for the first time in nearly half a century. But the ceasefire has some skeptics within Israel who watched a similar deal fall apart two years ago.
Starting point is 00:21:03 Okay, so at this time, please share your thoughts, your opinions, and your comments below this video in regards to a few of these stories. start off with Justice Jackson. What do you make of her attacking the conservatives and particularly the Supreme Court? She doesn't believe the lower courts of the problem. She believes the Supreme Court is the problem. And what do you make of the ICE agent being criminally prosecuted by Minnesota authorities for pointing his gun in a traffic dispute because he believed that these were agitators? And finally, do you believe it's a major one for the president that he was able to broker a ceasefire deal between Israel and Lebanon and get the Shreder Hummus back open? Give me your thoughts, your opinions, everything you got in the comment section below. All right. Let's see.
Starting point is 00:21:40 go to our next update. So if you got a kick out of Justice Jackson, I think you'll get a kick out of Justice Thomas, who also spoke out. This was yesterday in Austin, where he talked about how progressivism is literally attacking the foundations of our country. If you guys miss out on that update more, click on the video because it's coming up right now.
