In today's video, it's official Eric Swalwell's campaign for California governor has come to an end.
Four previous staffers have spoken out publicly about sexual assault.
Also, a sheriff's deputy was killed in California.
And now the media is complaining that they intentionally ran over the suspect.
And then we have a couple of more stories to get to in this video.
But let's start with this breaking news that pretty much is the end for Eric Swalwell.
Take a listen.
New tonight, CNN with exclusive reporting about Congressman Eric Swalwell,
The California Democrat has ascended in the governor's race there,
and he's faced recent rumors on social media about sexual misconduct that he has denied.
CNN's Pamela Brown and her team have spoken with four accusers,
including a former staffer who went on camera to share her story.
Pam, tell us what our investigators team have learned.
Well, John, we have spoken with four women who have various kinds of sexual misconduct claims
against Congressman Swalwell, ranging from inappropriate messages and pictures to unwanted kiss.
and touching, and in one case, rape.
From a woman we spoke to on camera in shadow to protect her identity
due to fear of professional retaliation.
She is a former Swalwell staffer, and she says it began when she was 21 years old.
There were two very serious sexual assault allegations she made, one in 2019 as a staffer,
and the other from 2024 when she had left his office.
She also described inappropriate messages and nude images with the Congressman.
using Snapchat with disappearing messages.
Now, after the first incident where she said she woke up in his hotel room as a staffer
naked after a night of heavy drinking, she told us about what she says happened several
years later in 2024 after she had left his office.
All right. So this is exactly what we said was going to happen. And if you read this statement
that you see here on the screen from Richard Grinnell, it sums it all up. It's over for
Swalwell. He's officially done. He's already lost the endorsement of California teachers.
Association. So his campaign has absolutely gone up in flames. Here's another post for you here.
Senator Adams Schiff and Ruben Gallego have both redrawn their endorsements of Eric Swalwell.
And here's another one from Roe Cona that says the same rules must apply to Eric Swalwell.
There must be the appropriate law enforcement investigations, health ethics investigation. He must be
held accountable. There cannot be two tiers of justice in this nation.
Now, who is this actual staffer who's been alleging that he sexually assaulted her?
Well, CNN actually did an interview with her.
Take a listen.
I decided to ask him to meet me for a drink.
And I did this because I was so far removed from what had happened in 2019.
I felt safe because I was established.
I had a partner.
I felt more secure that I could have a strong.
strictly professional relationship with this person. After that bar closed, we went to another. I went to
the bathroom and I don't remember anything after that. You don't remember anything? I remember the next day.
I can see flashes of that evening, of him on top of me, me pushing him off, him grabbing me.
It was a lot more aggressive. It was aggressive. Did you say,
No? Yes. I said no. In my flash that I can recall, I was pushing him off of me saying
no. And what did he do? He didn't stop. He didn't stop. And you woke up the next morning.
I woke up the next morning, naked, alone in his hotel room. I, for a moment, didn't even know
I was in his hotel room. That's how intoxicated I was.
And I called my mom, the only person I could think that could help me.
Yeah, so I think at this point, his official campaign for California governor is over.
I mean, you got her on the record.
She isn't the only one.
And then you have these endorsements that have gone out the window.
Let's just say this couldn't have happened to a perfect person, essentially.
I mean, this is exactly what he deserves.
He's scum.
And that's my own personal opinion.
Of course, you guys know I like to try to keep it as clean as possible, but I'd wish this would happen to a lot of members of Congress.
It's just because he was running for California governor.
Imagine, well, she would have said anything if he was running for governor?
That's a good question.
How many other members of Congress are, they have the same situation, okay?
And that's the troubling part about it all.
All right.
Let's go to what Eric Swalwell had to say in response.
Here's the statement that he issued.
Now, the Swalwell campaign released a statement from Congressman Swalwell.
saying, quote, these allegations are false and come on the eve of an election against the frontrunner for governor.
For nearly 20 years, I have served the public as a prosecutor and a congressman and have always protected women.
I will defend myself with the facts and where necessary bring legal action.
My focus in the coming days is to be with my wife and children and defend our decades of service against these lies.
It's remarkable reporting. As you note there, the congressman,
fiercely denies this and notes that it's coming in close proximity to California primary.
Why are these women willing to speak now?
It's a fair question, John.
All the women we spoke with believed that they were alone in their interactions with the congressmen.
And then after seeing chatter from social media influencers, they realized that they were not alone,
and they felt more compelled to speak out.
In fact, two of the women have since received seize and desist letters from Swalwell's lawyer,
but those women stand by their statements.
to us, John.
And obviously, this comes at a, does come at a big moment in the campaign.
What are you hearing about the campaign?
Yeah, well, I can tell you that we have been in touch with them over the last few days.
We've reached out this afternoon with some very specific details of these allegations and
some specific questions.
And sources have told us that members of Swalwell's team have left.
One staffer told CNN they left after receiving information about these allegations.
And we also learned a key co-chair has left.
Yeah, if you think about his last scandal with the Chinese spy, I guess we shouldn't be surprised by this.
I mean, he's going to be drowning in this for months to come.
And as a result of this new scandal that he has on his hands, the prediction odds have already decided that he's finished.
So he's dropped from, I think his peak was 67, 8%, excuse me, 72% chance to become the California governor.
That was on March 20th. He's now sitting at 4% chance.
The guy who's now leading it, according to the prediction market here, is Matt Steyer at 59%.
And not everybody on the left actually support Tom, by the way, to become the next California governor.
So it should be interesting how these things shake out.
Let's get this perspective from Newsmax.
This is a disaster.
Everyone's fleeing swallow right now.
His staff are quitting.
The endorsements are being pulled.
Your thoughts, Katie.
Couldn't happen to a better person.
And everyone has known this about Swalwell, and it took him deciding he wanted to run for governor to finally bring to light what scum he is.
Rob, I think it was on your ex post that it was like, this is his obituary, this is the Swalwell obituary.
And it's high time that this man gets out of Congress.
And he did so much bad to our president.
He went after him.
He lied to him.
So are we lied about him?
Are we surprised that this is actually what went on behind closed doors?
The key indicator should have been when he was sleeping with a Chinese spy, Fong, Fong, and was, you know, hello, we should have gotten rid of him then, but we tolerate this kind of muck for so long, and they continue to proliferate this garbage on people.
Yeah.
Okay, so let's talk about something personal, which is your privacy, which used to be the default, but now it's something you have to actively protect.
That's why I partnered with today's sponsor Proton Mail, because every account you've ever made, every sign up, every quick login, it all adds up at the end of the day.
Not just into an inbox full of spam, but into a profile built around you online,
one you never really agreed to.
And most of it started way earlier than you think.
Back when you were a kid, creating email accounts without a second thought.
Get this.
You had no idea how much of that data would stick around, follow you, and get fed into systems you don't even control.
It's like an identity you have online.
At this point, a lot of us are just managing the fallout, filtering junk, unsubscribing,
trying to clean up something that was never really private to begin with.
But you don't have to keep doing that all by yourself, which you should be doing.
is using Proton Mail. You can reserve an email address for your kid today for just $1. No ads,
no tracking, no profiling, just a private inbox that's actually built around you and made to
protect the next generation. And if you want a better, more private way to start fresh,
you can secure your address now and set up a free Proton mail account by going to Proton.com.

as your email address. All right, so I couldn't have said it better. I mean, I think we would have
learned our lesson already politically with his last scandal with that Chinese spy. At any rate,
not only did he issue a statement denying all of these allegations, but his attorney sent a cease
and desist letter to the woman saying she had, quote, made false statements accusing Mr. Swalwell
of sexual assault and non-consensual sexual encounter and threatening to sue her if she did not
retract her allegations. Now, I think at the end of the day, that's not a shocker. I mean,
just so we're all clear, a lot of these people in Congress, I mean, you're signing NDAs, right?
So I don't know if she signed one. It looks like she didn't. So that is very interesting there.
Now, the other problem that's on his hands is not just one. It's four women who have already come out.
Now, CNN was able to interview one of them. Now, imagine if they interviewed the other three.
I mean, this is just going to turn into a whole mess for him.
And part of the reason why we say that is because this old clip is now going viral of him going after Brett Kavanaugh, who now is a justice on the Supreme Court when he was accused of sexual assault.
Listen to this.
What was important to you about anything that you heard tonight from President Trump speaking out at length from Mr. Avonati, who I believe you just were able to hear, and new reports that there are new allegations being probed by the Senate regarding Judge Kavanaugh.
Good evening, Ari. I saw continued demeaning of victims of sexual assault, people who deserve to be heard, who deserve for their allegations to be investigated.
And a president who wants to just rush this through, he criticized the Senate for even taking this long, Ari.
And so for Brett Kavanaugh's sake, if he is innocent, I hope tomorrow he opens his statement and says, you know what, bring in all the victims, allow them to be heard, allow them to be questioned.
clear his name if he's indeed innocent. And if he's not for the sake of the credibility of the
court, I hope that the senators would vote against him. Now, if you go to the website, Act Blue,
in order to donate to Eric Swalwell's campaign, they've turned it off that says this fundraiser
is not currently accepting any donations. So I guess it's just only a matter of time. All right,
so that's the first update. Now let's get to the second update. This is actually coming out of
California in a county that I grew up in called Tulare.
and an officer was actually killed in the line of duty after they were serving a civil notice to evict an individual.
And this guy, I guess, decided to open fire.
But that's not really the story, which is kind of crazy.
The officer did lose his life.
That's definitely a part of the story here.
But the other thing is how the media is framing it.
They're saying that the police intentionally ran over this criminal, this murderer.
And I guess we should have some level of empathy.
for it? I'm not too sure. But let's go ahead and get into the story and maybe that will help
you understand. Take a listen.
An attempt to serve an eviction notice turns deadly in California. Authorities say a man
shot and killed a sheriff's deputy in an ambush attack. I've seen the correspondent Claudia
Cowan joins us now with the details. Claudia.
John, the situation spiraled out of control the moment officers arrived to serve that
eviction notice with one neighbor recording the gunfire.
This happened yesterday morning in the small town of Porterville, about an hour south of Fresno in Tulare County.
Authorities say the shooter, 59-year-old David Morales, barricaded himself inside and opened fire when officers showed up.
One of those shots killed Detective Randy Hoppert, a six-year veteran, just 35 years old.
He was a husband and father with another child on the way.
The shooting prompted a massive response by officers who exchanged gunfire with Morales, who refused
pleased by his family to surrender. He apparently was determined not to be taken alive,
but what pushed him to the brink is so far unknown. After eight hours, authorities brought in an
armored vehicle called a bear cat to tear the house apart. Still shooting at police, Morales jumped
out a window, and that's when the bear cat went after him, running him over and killing him.
At a press conference, the sheriff did not mince his words. We intentionally ran him over.
What agency is he?
Current County Sheriff's Office.
Yeah, this is why I have a lot of respect for law enforcement because I know they're always
putting their lives at risk, even when it seems like there is no risk.
You'd think just, hey, I'm just stopping by serving you this civil notice that you're
being evicted from this home.
You probably would think they would even answer the actual door, right?
So this is another primary example of how dangerous being a law enforcement official can be.
and they really deserve our utmost respect and support,
but not if you are clearly on the left
because they continue to do things that I believe
handicapped them from doing their job effectively.
They, in some cases, despise them
and believe they are the problem in the community
and don't think policing is really effective.
But that's more of a partisan statement for me.
So sorry about that.
Now, let's go to more information about this guy
that they ran over.
There's even a video clip showing the Bobcat
that was used to run over this.
suspect. Take a listen. It all began around 1040 Thursday morning. Deputies arriving to serve Morales
with a final eviction notice. He was expecting them and Sheriff Boudreau says was lying in wait.
Morales then opened fire the deputies calling for help. It was Detective Hopper who responded.
I want you to know that he's a father. He's leaving behind a wife who's four months pregnant and that he
has a family. Morales barricaded himself and then a gun battle. Crisis negotiators calling on some of Morales's
own family members for help. They don't understand. They don't have any answers for us. It's just such
an obscure situation, but the family has been incredibly cooperative with us. And word of Morales's
death playing out in real time. Sheriff Boudreau before the cameras when he received a call from
his undersheriff. Are we live? Hello? What happened? Tell me I'm in the news. He stepped away and
moments later returned with the news. He got run over. He got what he deserved. Swat officers using an
armored vehicle to intentionally run Morales over. He had exited the home. He is wearing camouflage
clothing, continually trying to hide in different brush. Deputies now working to clear the house.
There is concern it could be booby trap filled with explosives. No predicting what Morales might have
done. I can't really reveal as to what he said, but basically he said he's going down in a blaze
of glory and he ain't going down peacefully. Well, obviously, we, we,
pray for the family and hopefully they can find some type of silver lining enclosure and all of this.
And it's really sad to hear when you see that a law enforcement officer was killed.
Really, it was just a senseless murder if you think about it.
And the way it happened is you just don't see it coming.
That's why I'm always promoting gratitude and really focusing on yourself and what's happening inside
your home because you never know when your last day will be here.
Now, speaking of somebody's last day that might be approaching, and what I mean is their last day in this country is Mr. Mamu Khalil.
Now, this is the individual that the administration had tried to deport so many different times.
And, you know, these radical judges have stopped the president every step of the way from deporting him.
And now an immigration board ruled against him.
This was an appeal.
So he's now going to finally, I guess, if that's the proper term, get deported.
Take a listen to this story.
New details in what is next for pro-Palestinian activist Mahmood Khalil.
An immigration appeals board has denied his latest bid to dismiss his deportation case and now issued an order of removal.
Khalil is a legal U.S. resident who was arrested in March of last year.
He was the first campus activist taken into custody in President Trump's crime.
crack down on pro-Palestinian activists.
He spent 104 days in an immigration jail missing the birth of his first child before he was then
ordered released by a federal judge in New Jersey.
His attorney says he cannot be lawfully detained or deported as he pursues a separate
case in the federal court system.
Now, according to his reaction to this ruling, he claims that the only reason why he
is guilty is because he was speaking out against the genocide in Palestine and that
this administration has weaponized the immigration system to punish him for it, essentially.
And, you know, I think there is some truth to that as far as he was speaking out and some of the
things he was saying and some of the people he was speaking on behalf of, the administration
believes was linked to terrorist groups. So there's a little bit more context, of course.
And the fascinating part about all this is his wife decided to do an interview with CBS News
and she was fact-checked over what I just said
because their stance this entire time is,
no, we're not affiliated with any terrorist groups.
We're not supporting them in any way.
But then when you actually look at the flyers and the posters
and what he was saying and what he was doing,
one could conclude that, no, you are affiliated in some way
with these terror groups.
And so let's go to that right now.
And we'll come back to the article.
Is Mahmoud pro Hamas?
These are accusations that the Trump administration keeps pushing on him.
But what do you say to those?
I think it's ridiculous.
We tried armed resistance, which is again legitimate international law, but again, Israel is and it is terrorism.
Your husband circulated pro-Hamas flyers, did he?
That's not true.
It's disgusting that that's what they're resorting to, that that's the tactic, that they're
using to make him look like this person that he's not.
Now, here is the New York Post front page of this story, which I don't think would be a surprise.
And in case you guys have forgotten a little bit about the context here, Kaleel is a 31-year-old legal permanent resident.
He was the first person who was arrested by this administration, and it was national news a few months back,
when they started cracking down on non-citizens who were publicly criticizing Israel and its actions in
Gaza. And basically, if you want to use Mark or Rubio as an example, his stances, if you're going to
our universities that are publicly funded and you're using that time to protest on behalf of
terrorist groups like Hamas, yeah, we're going to find a way to get you out. We will revoke your
visa and we will deport you. All right. So why don't we get your guys this?
comments and thoughts and reactions below, especially in regards to Eric Swalwell, I would argue his
campaign is over. He's not accepting any more donations at this time. California governor has pulled
his endorsement, big organizations in that state have pulled their endorsement, and multiple
members of Congress have also pulled their endorsement. I think it's over for him. What do you guys
say? Also, what do you make of that sheriff's deputy who lost his life based on or essentially
just serving an eviction notice? And then what do you make of Mr. Khalil getting denied?
again. Maybe one day they'll finally be able to deport him. Give me your thoughts, everything you
got in the comments section below. So this takes us to our next video, which involves Chicago
public schools and the teachers union. They are using May 1st to essentially take kids out of
school to protest ICE and the president. The problem is at the same time, a new damning
report has come out showing how fewer than one in three students of the Chicago school system can
barely read or write at their grade level. If you guys are interested in that story and more,
click on the video because it's coming up right now.
