In today's video, we have Breaking News.
or Amandani, the mayor of New York City, has just gotten some bad news.
The Citadel CEO that he named dropped during his viral video about taxing the rich.
It seems like he'll be taking his business down to Miami.
And D.C. police officers are now being terminated because they were caught cooking the books regarding crime data.
Let's hear what Ken Griffin had to say about the mayor and what he plans to do moving forward.
Take a look.
So where does that leave us at 350 park?
That leaves us with the fact that we went to Miami and revised our building plan to make it a bigger
office building. You're bailing? So what do we do at 350s is still a point of discussion
internally, but what is no longer a point of discussion is that Miami is now, you know,
when we moved from Chicago, there was a debate between New York and Miami. It's unquestionably true
that we made the right choice. I'll leave it at that. It's unquestionably true that we made the right
choice. And now, and now what the mayor of New York has made clear to my partners, and
principally my New York partners, my New York partners, is that we need to double down on our
bet in Miami because we want to be in a state that embraces, that embraces business,
that embraces education, that embraces personal freedom and liberty, and that
embraces people having an opportunity to live the American dream. And a dream of
earned success, not a dream of redistributive handouts that leave people dependent on government
for their lives and their livelihoods in a way that takes away dignity and honor.
Now, the problem here for Mondani is he's learning on the job. He has no experience as mayor.
He's getting experience, obviously. And he's already made a few mistakes, in my opinion.
You know, one could be not backing the NYPD. That's definitely true.
secondly doubling down on sanctuary city policies and three pissing off billionaires who contribute
to not only the local economy there but thousands of jobs we just saw what happened with katie wilson
in seattle Boeing gone Starbucks gone i mean those are thousands of jobs that's part of the
economy so i find it interesting that they're willing to burn it down in the name of saving it if that
makes sense i don't know what they're saving though because it won't work let's go to jessica
Rojas. She's a state representative out of New York, and she's echoing the policies of Mondani.
Take a list.
There are over 150 billionaires with collective wealth of over $975 billion.
And who's leaving New York?
It's not those wealthy, the millionaires and billionaires.
As Morris Pearl said, they're rich because they can live anywhere.
They can live anywhere.
It is the working class.
It is the black and brown communities.
It is those that came to New York to build a life that have to leave because they can't afford it.
And the rent is too damn high.
So let's just dive a little deeper on this issue about high rents.
It's not just New York City.
This is happening in San Francisco as well.
Well, if you just do a little research, you'd come to find that the biggest factor is zoning and land use restrictions.
What does that mean exactly?
both cities have made it illegal or extremely difficult to build dense housing across most of their land area.
For an example, New York does not allow high density housing in the outer boroughs of the city limits, if that makes sense.
They only allow single family or low-rise apartments.
So what happens?
The demand is going up, but the supply isn't there.
And so the price skyrocketed.
Now, here's another thing that I think you'd find interesting.
The permitting process, obviously in California, it's outrageous.
But more importantly is this.
People who've lived in New York City for quite some time and own property there,
they benefit when the prices go up.
So why would they vote for policies that would make the prices come down?
That's a very good question.
Now, let's go to our next update.
DC police officers are now being terminated
because it has been confirmed that they were cooking the books regarding
crime data. This is huge. Take a listen. Leadership under fire within the DC police force.
The Washington Post says three sources indicate multiple high-ranking DC police officials have
been served papers saying the department intends to fire them. Reporting some of the proposed
firings are connected to an internal probe that crime data was manipulated. Are you guys cooking
the books? I think we're not. Both the Republican-led House Oversight Committee and the Department
of Justice launched investigations into the allegation.
The DOJ later accused then police chief Pamela Smith of creating a culture of fear and pressuring commanders to downgrade serious offenses.
Claims she denied.
Never will I ever compromise my integrity for a few crime numbers.
So these D.C. law enforcement officials are getting exactly what they deserve.
Remember, when D.C. was a special project for President Trump, we brought this up,
multiple times on the show that D.C. was cooking the books regarding how they were classifying
crimes. Now accountability is here and people are being let go. Now, to back up my statement and
the reporting, let's go back to the year of 2020. District of Columbia had settled a lawsuit with
former Sergeant Charlotte, I'm not even going to butcher her name, a whistleblower who alleged
the MPD systematically manipulated crime data by downgrading felonies to misdemeanor. So if this
was already happening in 2020, they settled in court or out of court in August of 2025,
it makes sense that they're finally getting around to letting people go.
If we can only have this level accountability across the country like, you know,
Los Angeles or Minneapolis of other places, right?
But this is great news.
It was back in July the News 4 first reported that then chief of police, Pamela Smith,
had placed third district commander Michael Pulliam on leave and accused him of changing crime data,
lowering the classification of crimes so it would not show up in the most serious offenses.
Pulliam denied the charges.
After our report aired President Trump in the weeks after,
held a news conference at the White House and announced the federal takeover of the police department.
Trump said he was doing it in part because of, quote, phony crime numbers.
In our report, Union President Greg Pemberton leveled his own allegations,
saying manipulating crime stats in the police department was widespread.
and that officials on a regular basis were downgrading serious violent crimes to lesser crimes
so that it would not show up in the department's crime stats.
Two law enforcement sources tell News 4 that a number of high-level officials did not show
up at the crime briefing, which is normally held on Mondays.
I also spoke not only to Chief Carroll, who said that he couldn't comment.
I spoke to the U.S. Attorney, Janine Piro, she also declined to comment.
Now, for my folks out there who want to make everything about,
race, particularly the black community. You have a black mayor, a black police chief who was caught
being responsible for a toxic work culture, supported cooking the books, and a city that is majority
black. Now, where is Black Lives Matter on this? Where's the Black, Black, Black, Black folks at?
I thought you cared about Black Lives. If you cared about Black Lives, you'd be screaming right now.
I just find the hypocrisy so deep here.
I thought they cared about black lives.
Doesn't seem like it to me when they're reclassifying
or downgrading felonies to misdemeanors
and allowing crime to go rampant.
Thank God we had President Trump.
D.C. crime is still a national issue.
The president's decision to deploy
National Guard troops to assist law enforcement
throughout the district.
Those troops, they are still on duty
and they may be here for quite some time.
But in D.C., teen violence remains a huge problem.
Today, D.C. Cities Council is looking to take a vote whether to make a juvenile curfew permanent.
D.C.'s mayor, Democrat Merrill Bowser, she is pushing for the curfew to stay in place.
She says this is not about punishment, but protection.
She sent a letter to the council today in which she said, quote, the intent of the curfew is not to arrest our young people.
It's to keep them safe.
Curfew zones steer young people away from potentially dangerous situations before they escalate.
You know what's also interesting?
if this is happening in D.C. of all places, especially over the past, what, five, probably eight years?
What's happening in other cities? See, D.C. is a special case because the president has the authority to do what he did.
He could send in federal authorities to take over the police department or deploy the National Guard as long as he likes.
That's already been proven. It went to court. He got his way on that. He can't do that in other cities.
So if they're cooking the books in D.C., they've already been exposed. They settled out of course.
in a lawsuit, okay, multiple people have been fired, the mayor will not be running for re-election,
and the police chief did resign, what more do you need? If that's happening in D.C., of all places,
imagine what's happening across the country. But Democrats say, hey, sanctuary cities, it's safe.
Sure it is. Let's go to our next update. Ilhan Omar was due in a congressional hearing to provide
documentation regarding the scam that took place with feeding our future. In fact, she played an
instrumental role in producing that policy. So of course, she's being held accountable within
our own state where she was required to turn in documentation. Well, she blew them all.
Minnesota lawmakers are saying time is up for Congresswoman Ilhan Omar. They're demanding
she respond to questions about a $250 million child nutrition fraud scheme.
Lawmakers want her written and electronic communications involving the states feeding our future
program. It was a COVID-era program that claimed to be serving thousands of meals to children
across the state, but the former nonprofit misused millions in taxpayer funds resulting in
massive fallout and dozens of indictments.
Now, state lawmakers are trying to zero in on any correspondence Representative Omar may
have had with the owners of a restaurant where she was a regular.
That business now considered an epicenter for fraud abuse in Minnesota.
Now, if we take the same principle and the lesson we just learned from D.C., we go right over to
Minnesota and we find the same situation occurring. Officials looking the other way,
cooking the books, allowing fraud to take place, prosecuting, in my opinion, whistleblowers
who were retaliated against, of course. And I can't wait for those cases to go forward so the public
can really see how bad it was. But Ilhan Omar played a role in this, whether she likes it or not,
and we had a lesson in the military. There's something called direct responsibility,
command responsibility, and I would argue she had command responsibility. That means you're in a
leadership position, you're part of the process, and you share some responsibility to what went
wrong in that mission. She absolutely has responsibility in this, including the governor.
That's why he's not running for reelection. We know why that is. Come on now. And he's not going to run for
president. I mean, he has no chance. Okay. Anyways, let's go to this perception on News Nation.
Take a look. Well, so far she hasn't turned over anything, Nicole. You know, the head of the
Fraud Prevention Committee there says that Ilan Omar essentially created this law.
the Meals Act in 2020, which enabled this feeding our future scandal to even happen in the first place.
They want to ask her about that, and they also want to find her communications.
She communicated with some of these early feeding our future fraudsters that have been convicted.
They've asked her to appear.
She's ignored that, and they've asked for the communications, and so far she has declined.
So now they say they want to try and subpoena her.
It's very disappointing.
She is an elected member of Congress who has created, passed a federal law that created the conditions for the biggest COVID fraud scam in our state's history and in the country.
And the fact that she won't come and answer questions about that, and for her to just ghost the committee, show disdain for Minnesota taxpayers by not answering really basic questions.
And if she has nothing to hide, she should come before the committee and explain it.
We've invited her.
She's always ghosted us.
So we sent a letter asking for documents that were in the trial exhibits.
And today we will try to subpoena those documents.
First thing is she hasn't turned over anything.
And I don't think she will.
Because this leaves me to my second point,
what authority do state representatives have over a federal representative, right?
Ilhan Omar, she's in Congress, but she's not in the state legislator.
So what could they really compel her to do?
well, I'm not a legal expert on that, but I like to think there's not much for them to do except document for the record that she refused to show up.
She refused to turn over documentation.
And people should know about that.
And for someone who screams about rule of law, right, that we should be protecting our democracy, rooting our fraud,
you think she'd collaborate in this investigation.
Maybe it wouldn't be a good look for.
In fact, what she was doing today instead was actually participating or showing up to this strike that is occurring right now.
Minnesota regarding teachers. There is no contract right now, and I believe this is on behalf of
the Teachers Union. Take a look at this clip. In communities across Canada, hourly Amazon employees
earn an average of over $24.50 an hour. Employees also have the opportunity to grow their skills
and their paycheck by enrolling in free skills training programs for in-demand fields like
software development and information technology. Learn more at About
Amazon.ca. So as a result of her defiance, the chair of the Minnesota House Fraud and Oversight Committee,
Ms. Robbins, moved to subpoena Ilhan Omar after missing the deadline. Well, of course, Democrats
ran to her defense and blocked that motion. Take a look. Yeah, so it's a motion for the committee
to issue a subpoena to Representative Ilhan Omar regarding the items in the subpoena, which are in
packet. So it's referenced here. And then Madam Chair, I'll just a few questions for you, I guess,
as the make. Chair Robbins. Aye. Vice Chair Anderson? Aye. Lead Pinto? No. Representative Altondorf?
Aye. Representative Elkins? No. Representative Greenman? No. Representative Nash?
Aye. Representative Schultz? Aye.
The vote is five in favor, three against the subpoena.
The motion fails and the subpoena will not be issued.
I mean, what does it say about a member of Congress who refuses to collaborate in this fraud investigation that has scam thousands of people out of Minnesota?
It's just including children, by the way.
But she says she's for the rule of law.
She has a funny way of showing that.
All right.
