Starting point is 00:00:00 In tonight's sanity report, the Supreme Court just handed President Trump a major win. Listen to this. We have some breaking news for you in our national lead today. The U.S. Supreme Court allowed the Trump administration to restart the program that removes migrants from the U.S., taking them to countries other than their home countries without the opportunity to raise human rights concerns about where they're going. The court's three liberal justices dissented from the six three decision. The court said it would hear arguments in the case later this year. Meanwhile, the CNN exclusive inside a Texas immigration court where dozens of children, some as young as two, are fighting to stay in the United States with their families.
Starting point is 00:00:37 Now, this is a huge win for multitude of reasons. Number one, we know the 77 million Americans who voted for mass deportations. They actually want to see it carried out. Okay. And number two, what has happened is Democrats have gone to the courts to try to slow down deportations by abusing the terms like due process, by trying to stop. them from deporting people who can't go back to their original country to a alternative country. And number three, the Supreme Court saw right through that madness and is allowing the president to continue to up his deportation numbers. And for that reason, alone, this Supreme Court gets an A plus in my book. In case you needed another reminder on why people like Hillary Clinton should stay away from politics, listen to what she had to say about white Christian men.
Starting point is 00:01:26 Listen. We haven't gotten to the more perfect union and we fought a civil war over part of it. And people have been protesting, you know, for hundreds of years that, you know, things were not as they should be given our ideals and how we should be moving toward them. So I think that's what makes us so special as a country. And the idea that you could turn the clock back and try to recreate a world that never was. dominated by, you know, let's say it, white men of a certain persuasion, a certain religion, a certain point of view, a certain ideology, it's just doing such damage to what we should be aiming for. And we were on the path toward that. I mean, imperfectly, lots of, you know, bumps along the way. But I agree with you, we were on the right trajectory. Let me, let me. Yeah, this is why I'm just not a fan of people like Hillary who continue to weigh in on politics. She's just as annoying as former President Obama for obvious reasons.
Starting point is 00:02:30 But one in particular, which really stands out to me, I don't have a problem with America being majority white. I don't have a problem with white Christian men. But people on the left do because they have a problem with everything. In fact, at their core, they have a problem with our country. This is why that party has become much more anti-American than they've ever been in history. And so Hillary Clinton, do us all a favor. go away and don't come back. She gets a D on this one.
Starting point is 00:02:57 Now let's go to Jack Smith because he was testifying on Capitol Hill this morning in regards to his shady tactics on when he investigated President Trump. Unfortunately for him, Senator John Kennedy wasn't going for his excuses. Listen to this. When you went to Judge Bozberg, you didn't even tell him you were seeking the phone records of members of Congress, did you? Because you knew he wouldn't agree. he would say hey counselor anybody who knows a law book from a jay crew catalog knows that this violates the constitution but you didn't tell him did you
Starting point is 00:03:33 we sought non-disclosure orders from you didn't tell him did you in seeking non-disclosure orders we did not didn't tell him but you're unbiased you you have no personal feelings you make me want to throw up in my mouth Mr. Chairman. I mean, just imagine living in a world where you have someone like Jack Smith who wasn't even properly appointed as a federal prosecutor, according to a lot of legal scholars out there. He wasn't technically qualified, but let's say he was. Who in their right mind has the authority to confiscate the data, the text messages, the information about call logs, about what Congress is doing, members of Congress are doing, who had some
Starting point is 00:04:24 connection with the president. Without them even knowing, who can go to the cell phone companies, get this information without letting the members know. This is why we say it was a rogue and weaponized justice system. This is just another example. And of course, Jack Smith, he has no reason or no justification that he can come up with. That sounds even logical when doing so without notifying members of Congress. So Jack Smith, you get a D. All right. So now we go to our just take the L segment. where we highlight a particular story or a particular someone who is a loser and they refuse to accept the reality. It takes us to this Harvard professor who had this debate with Stephen Crowder. Let's just say it didn't go very well after he made this particular statement.
Starting point is 00:05:09 The biggest danger to higher education in the United States today is our federal government pursuant to the Reagan, excuse me, pursuant to the Trump administration. The Trump administration has engaged in a campaign of extortion, in which it has rung various settlements out of the University of Pennsylvania, Columbia University, most notably. it has attempted to extort my university, Harvard University. It has shown a complete disregard for sound conservative, conservative principles like due process,
Starting point is 00:06:09 like freedom of expression, like concern for the prerogatives of private institutions. Yeah, for the life of me, every time they have to blame President Trump for their own failures, they've lost the plot. That's why he's a loser in this particular debate. You can't blame the incompetency, the decline, the lack of attention and the development of the intellect at Harvard University on President Trump. This is why universities like Harvard, in my opinion,
Starting point is 00:06:41 opinion are an embarrassment today. It's no longer about developing students. It's more about activism and indoctrination. Now, are we seeing that happen in every single study on that university? No. But has it happened in a lot of their policies, even how they essentially discriminated against white students for black applicants or the fact that the president of Harvard had to resign because she was caught plagiarizing? I mean, whether it was the anti-Semitism that got out of hand on that camp? I mean, we can give you countless reasons. And just to be clear, this professor is a loser because he can't even accept responsibility about how his own university went wrong. Okay, so Jasmine Crockett continues to make the news and is a problem for Democrats.
Starting point is 00:07:28 But this time, it's not really coming from her. It's coming from them. They're absolutely fed up with her now. Listen to this. And a little bit of midterm politics before I let you go. You had endorsed Jasmine Crockett in that Texas Senate primary, and she has obviously been out there campaigning on the trail, and she released, her PAC released a list of endorsements today. She left James Tala Rico off the list. He, of course, is the nominee for Senate in Texas. Would you tell her, do you have an understanding why that is? What's going on there? I don't. I mean, I wish she would get behind Talarico's run a brilliant campaign. I was proud to support Jasmine. She was someone who was very effective on the Oversight Committee, where I serve. But these elections are
Starting point is 00:08:14 too important for any individual to have a personal grievance or to have personal disagreements with candidates. I mean, the control of the United States Senate is at stake. The control of the House is at stake. We finally see some end of the tunnel light in moving past Donald Trump. If we win the House and the Senate, Donald Trump is a lame duck the next day. We can, can finally begin anew. So I would just hope she sees that bigger picture. I know she understands the threats that Trump poses to our democracy.
Starting point is 00:08:50 And obviously there have been some concerns on her part about racial overtones in her experience. That was her experience. I mean, do you understand that? Do you think that should prevent her from lending her support to Tala Rica? What do you say to that?
Starting point is 00:09:12 And does it concern you? Do you think this could really make a big difference? She does have a lot of supporters in this date? Yeah, I mean, I can't speak to her experience. And, you know, I haven't quite heard supporting evidence, but I'm not going to take anything away from her on that. All right. So let me share this message from today's sponsor, which is super important.
Starting point is 00:09:34 We're talking about your personal data. Because how many times have you received a spam call, spam text message? And you're sitting there wondering, how did they get my information? Well, your information's being sold on the dark web. We're not only just talking about your name or your email address, we're talking about your mailing address and your social security number. My wife and I were plagued with spam calls repeatedly. It was annoying. This is why today's video is sponsored by ORA. ORA specializes in cleaning up your data, getting it removed, and stopping the spam calls. And we already know that we can't depend on the federal government to help us.
Starting point is 00:10:06 We have to help ourselves. And that's why you should be using ORA. They will get you to see what, information has been sold or leaked on the internet, and they'll help you remove it and offer 24-7 monitoring. So try ORD today for the first 14 days, absolutely free. Go to or dot com for slash DeVore or click the link in the description below. You have to protect your personal data because no one's going to do it for you. Again, that is ore.com for slash devori. I suppose when you have a never-trumper, a Democrat, and a mainstream media host, particularly on CNN, all going after Jasmine Crockett and not taking her racism claims seriously, I think you can see not only the level of desperation, but the level of contempt that Democrats have for black people who are in their
Starting point is 00:10:53 party who do not fall in line. Isn't it interesting the way that they've treated her for quite some time now? And so that's why I continue to tell you guys, Democrats are really the party of racism if you ask me. But at any rate, Jasmine Crockett, she gets to see, by the way, because I don't think she's helping James Tilarico, and I love that. But for the rest of them, I would say they get a D. So if you need another reminder of why you should make sure that Hollywood stays away from your children, listen to what this actress had to say. I always wanted a gay son. I did. I love that relationship between gay sons and their mothers. I want to be the picket sign holding mom who would beat the shit out of somebody for her kid. I mean, let's just admit it.
Starting point is 00:11:39 Gay sons are the best, right? I have photographs of my son in high heels, in full drag. He knows every word to every musical ever written. His fairy godfather, Aaron Walton, is here with us tonight. I mean, truly, I thought I had this fucking thing locked up. But no, no, he's the only straight guy in his entire musical theater company. So when Marcia called me about 10 years ago from her closet, I kid you not, she was in her closet, to tell me that her son had come out to her as gay.
Starting point is 00:12:23 All I said was, oh my God, you are so fucking lucky! And there it is. She's literally admitting out loud that they want people to be gay, particularly children. That she's always wanted a gay son. You know, they literally lose the plot when they speak like this because I don't think anybody in their right mind cares about that stuff, honestly. I think we want our children to be successful in life. And I think we should stop trying to disrupt their natural development and stop trying to indoctrinate them in regards to these woke ideas and how we believe they should be living their lives because this is where the direction society is going or Hollywood is going. going. No. And think about how many people who actually move like her, parent like her, or lead
Starting point is 00:13:16 like her, how much of them, they've literally set their kids up for failure, which is why, and I'm harsh tonight, guys, she gets a D. All right. So let's go to your questions. This one was submitted by Gary from London, England, so someone from overseas. And if you want to submit your question to the show, all you have to do is scan the QR code. at the top left corner of your screen. Who specifically in Congress is blocking Trump's agenda? Well, we know there is at least two to three Republicans, such as Susan Collins, for an example,
Starting point is 00:13:52 others like, you know, Rand Paul, for an example, who don't often vote for what the president wants to do. You can go to the House of Representatives and find a few more. But even outside of that, I would argue the judicial system, that branch of our government has clearly, especially the lower court level, has seek to find so many ways to stop this administration from moving forward with their agenda. Thank you for your question, Gary, and God bless. Now we go to our sanity win of today. I told you guys, the best cabinet pick in my opinion was Pete Hexseth.
Starting point is 00:14:32 Is Pete Hexeth flawed? Does he have maybe some issues personally? Possibly. Okay. But he's the exact Secretary of War that this military needs at this point in time. And that's why he's announced the following 20% cut to generals and admirals.
Starting point is 00:14:54 And Jen, what can you tell us about the announcement War Secretary Pete Hegeseth is expected to make tomorrow at Quantico? Well, Secretary Hegsafe is gathering enlisted and non-commissioned officers to announce as part of a state of the force speech that he is doubling cuts to the number of positions reserved for generals and admirals in an effort to reduce the number of active duty four-star positions and National Guard general officers by 20%. The Pentagon says it's an effort to streamline its senior ranks.
Starting point is 00:15:23 Hegeseth has fired dozens of general officers since arriving at the Pentagon, often with no explanation, Brett. And he doesn't really need an explanation because the NCOs, the non-commission officers would definitely argue there's too many chiefs. One of the ways to slow up progress and effectiveness and readiness and even our ability to accomplish the mission in the military is when you have too many people jacking up the system. Too many people who have to say yes. It's all about getting results. And when you have too many chiefs, it's hard to do that.
Starting point is 00:15:55 For some reason, along the lines of our military history, somebody at the Pentagon, in particular, that it was a great idea to increase the commission officer quotas, right? Even though it may not actually lead to a more effective fighting force. And so that's why I'm very grateful for Heck Seth for doing the right thing here, which is why he gets an A plus in my book. So let's go to one more thing. This is where I talk about a particular fact, stat, a number. But this time it's going to be in a form of a question.
Starting point is 00:16:31 Should Americans be a friend? of AI and how it's going to influence our future? I would argue the answer is no. I think there should be concern. There should be some type of, you know, oversight. I think we should be protective, right? I think you should be very clear and discipline on your privacy and your security. Yes. But I think we're way past the point of stopping what we've already created, is my point. It's like the internet, for an example. The last time we had something this big was the internet.
Starting point is 00:17:12 And we had technically had already had the internet. The internet was actually being used in the military. But once it finally made it to retail, the consumer, the public, right? That's when all hell broke loose, so to speak. Well, isn't it fascinating how far we've come since the year of 2000, as it relates to the internet? There's no stop in this train. So what I would encourage people, what I'd encourage Americans, is to stay educated on AI, find ways on how you can use it in your life, and then buckle up for the ride.
Starting point is 00:17:43 And I don't believe in the end that if God didn't want us to have AI, he would have found a way not for us to have it. But I think there's something happening here. I think there's positives. There are negatives. But I don't believe you should be living in your life being run by fearmongering regarding AI. So ladies and gentlemen, that is the sanity report of today. Share your takeaway, what you got out of today's video. And if you missed out on our update from earlier today, please make sure you click that video because it's coming up right now.
