In fact, the city council is calling him out publicly for essentially ghosting them during today's meeting. As more residents are now speaking out about this tax. Let's start here. No one from the Mondani administration is here today as some New York City counselors and homeowners say the rollout of this new surcharge left them feeling exposed, even doxed. So today they've been arguing that the city is putting the burden on them to prove that they actually live here in the Big Apple full time. And some council members of the mayor's own party not shying away from bucking Big Apple leadership.

I would like to say this. My residents in my district shouldn't have to hire lawyers to prove they live in their own home. So Mamdani is vacationing upstate and City Hall says, of an ongoing court battle over the tax, the administration will not answer questions in person. But the way the tax was rolled out has caused a firestorm. First, the city published a list of nearly a million properties that could potentially be subject to the tax. Then letters went out to about 17,000 people who could ultimately get the bill. Some homeowners say this left them scrambling to figure out whether they're actually on the hook. Today, critics and even supporters of the

second home tax are finding common ground in calling the rollout. A mess. Let me start with a question. What type of mayor would not send one of his team members to this meeting? He didn't even intend himself. It has nothing to say about it. A mayor who clearly has been instructed not to engage in this fight. So meaning you're not going to fight for what you believe in. Mayor Mondani, you said you want to tax the rich. You think this is a fair. You want them to pay their fair share, but you don't want to show up to the meeting to engage in a debate with city council. You guys know why he won't show up because he know this was implemented incorrectly. You have people on this list who are being targeted by the city who do not own a second home. They only own one home.

Why are they on this list exactly? Yeah, because whoever sent it out and whoever was responsible for it, clearly did not vet that list. Now, why don't we go to this next clip? Because I think it shows you how bad these city council members have it out for the mayor. Take a look. So how the administration published more than 900,000 names and addresses showed me that this is how, the administration feels about homeowners in this great city, that this is something that we need to be ashamed of, a hit list of the haves and the have-nots, a scarlet letter. They should show up and answer basic questions about the rollout. Somehow today, the administration couldn't find its way within the same building to City Hall to answer questions

about it. I find that to be totally unacceptable. I think New Yorkers are entitled to ask a very simple question. What are they hiding? So residents taking issue with the city posting a public list of names and addresses that, quote, may be subject to this tax. People very upset about that, understandably so. The Washington Post writing this, note to future mayors naming and shaming nearly a million homeowners in your city, not good use of political capital. Eight months after he became New York's mayor, Zeranamondani's botch rollout. of his Pietater tax, widely seen as bringing an end to his honeymoon period, they write. Yeah, I think it's fair to say instead of his team doing the hard work to locate actual luxury

vacation homes that are owned by people who do not live in the city and it is confirmed that it is their second or higher as far as second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, or seventh property in that city, they did the lazy way. You would think of the age of AI and how we can use technology to ensure our lists are accurate. They have colossively failed in this department. Again, you guys didn't hear it correctly here. The city published a database of 960,000 properties and mailed out 17,000 letters to people who now have to legally prove this is their primary home. They took the lazy way out, folks. They didn't vet that list. Now that we understand the backlash coming from City Hall and how severe it is,

the mayor is now losing the very people who usually cheer for his policies. Take a look. Instead of seeing this as an opportunity to work with the council for us to help them put out the dumpster fire of a situation that they started, they're no showing today,

and they're just sending us a note. When longtime homeowners are suddenly asked to prove where the home they live in is their primary residence, that is more than just an administrative burden. It creates fear. We're here today to demand accountability.

why maybe sending your kids to college is probably the wrong thing to do. 14 have been charged at a massive Penn State cocaine ring bus. Yes, you heard me correctly. But, but Cocaine was being trafficked on the Penn State campus. Take a look. Hi, Bill. Will prosecutors say the pledges of these fraternities were cutting and packaging the cocaine as part of their frat initiation as this massive drug operation stretch from Penn State all the way to New York? Now more than a dozen people have been charged, including 13 current or former Penn State students.

And when you're looking at their pictures, you might notice something different. That is one of their dads who police say was trying to interfere with the investigation. What I can say is the allegations were that a parent helped sort of try to cover it up after the fact when he discovered that his son was in trouble. And so obviously that's behavior that's completely unacceptable. Prosecutors say these two suspects were at the top of the drug operation. Those are their photos. And it went on for nearly two years, Bill. That's Thomas Robinson from Pittsburgh and Augustino Apatelio from Long Island, New York.

So law enforcement says Apatelo was known as the largest. cocaine dealer for Penn State students. Okay, let's make sure you guys are clear about what's happening here. You have students a part of frat houses essentially running their own cocaine drug operation. And they were pretty effective at it until obviously authorities did the right thing by planting informants in these frat houses and at these parties and actually recording the exchanges going on, which is a smart thing to do. This essentially reminds me of young people who have great ambitions, but they go down the wrong road with those ambitions. And I can't, I'm just wondering, what, what do the parents have to think about this? If they're paying for their sons to

essentially be drug dealers. I mean, I wonder what they think about all this. But anyhow, how did this exactly all go down? Let's listen. So how did this whole thing work? Well, according to law enforcement, they say the suppliers made drug runs to New York and brought back as much as a kilo of cocaine. So that's like more than two pounds at a time, costing $22,000 at pickup. Two fraternity houses were the main drug hubs, according to the operation and according to prosecutors,

until police finally stepped in, using informants to buy cocaine multiple times at these frat houses, and then even recorded the deals as evidence. One informant walked into a frat house, and it came out less than one minute later with a baggie of cocaine. So that shows, according to prosecutors, just how often this was happening. and the scale. The investigations ongoing. Prosecutors say all 14 suspects are facing felony charges.

Penn State suspended one of the frats at the center of the investigation and the other one was already operating outside of school control bill. Well, I could tell you, well, I could tell you. And here's the other thing about Penn State. They clearly had lost control of these houses, these frat houses, that is, before the police even stepped in. I mean, think about it. They were doing this for two years. and when fraternities are pushed entirely off the radar, they become the perfect blind spot for this kind of activity. It's unfortunate, as I often say. I'm applauding law enforcement for finally stepping in and doing the right thing here. I'm sure there were, you know, sons that were of powerful people or people who were known in the community, I would imagine. There could have

been some hesitation there, but good thing it wasn't. And I think if we go to the top prosecutor, I want you to hear how he explains everything. It's really stunning. Large amounts of cocaine kilos were brought from Philadelphia and New York to state college. There was nothing junior or childlike about this type of conduct. This was an upper level trafficking organization for this region in Pennsylvania. Packaging happened at off-campus fraternity houses. Cutting and bagging cocaine was for some pledges.

indoctrination into the Delta Upsilon and Sigma Chi fraternities. For students who think about going to college, being away from home for the first time, and having an opportunity to kind of do what they want, they need to understand that there are always going to be ramifications for your actions. You know, the thing about drug dealing, and this is my own opinion, my own personal one, I want to know what you guys think about this. It always just rubbed me the wrong way because I'm like, if you are this good at drug dealing, I mean, obviously they always get caught at the end.

But think about how long it takes, right, and how effective they are at actually dealing drugs. Why don't you just do it in the legal way? Why not actually start a legitimate business? You have the skills to run a business. I mean, if you're over here traveling to New York and Philadelphia and you're making drug runs and you're reupping every single week or so, I mean, it sounds to me like you know how to run a business. So why not do it the legal way and actually contribute to your society?

I don't know, man. It's just an interesting way that I see things. But I'm glad they were caught and hopefully they're held accountable. Let's go to our next update. This is more of a political one. And I would say since our channel grew because of this woman, also known as Kamala Harris, I think it's fitting that we at least have something to say about this story. So there is a Democrat running for election.

in the state of Alaska. She's a Democrat. She flat out rejected the nomination of Kamala Harris. Take a look at this. On the Democratic side, former House Representative Mary Patola is now running for Senate in Alaska, and she's making headlines for saying no to the endorsement of Kamala Harris. Patola's campaign claims it did not approve a fundraising email last week signed by Kamala Harris, urging supporters to endorse Petola. Now, Alaska has a unique voting system where at the time, four candidates in each race of tomorrow's primary will advance to the general election in November, regardless of party. And then in November, it's rank choice, where voters can choose their favorite first, second,

third, and fourth candidate. And in the governor's race, there are 17 candidates, and Democrats hope Alaska native Mary Patola will boost the entire Democratic ticket because she's polling high. I mean, just imagine that. A Democrat candidate who's running for Congress refuses to accept a endorsement from Kamala Harris. Secondly, Kamala Harris and her team sent out a fundraising email without the approval of this Democrat candidate. And third, when the Democrat candidate got when that this fundraising email came out, they publicly said we didn't even endorse this email.

What does that tell you about Kamala Harris? She's literally in the doghouse like Joe Biden is. No one likes them. I suppose when you burn through $2 billion worth of cash and you have nothing the show for it and the DNC is still in debt, yeah, I think nobody would probably like you either. That's what's going on. Even CNN has to talk about this. Watch. She doesn't even go here. Thank you, Tina Faye. That is more or less the message Kamala Harris got from Alaska Democrat Senate candidate. Mary Patola, after the 2024 Democratic nominee, signed a fundraising email supporting Paltola's campaign. That's for the New York Times. The Alaska Democrat wasted no time separating herself from Harris.

Her campaign said in a statement, Mary isn't seeking endorsements from anyone from the lower 48. Her focus is and always will be Alaska. Not that surprised why Paltolla wouldn't want a Harris endorsement. Paltolla refused to endorse her two years ago. Okay, so now that we understand the situation, I want you guys to take a look at this individual at MSDNC. He actually is offended by this.

He actually says that this is petty, that they should have accepted the endorsement from a failed presidential candidate and a vice president no one likes to talk about. But according to him, this is a mistake. Take a listen. You can only call it a rejection and I think it's a really bad decision on Congresswoman Patola's part. I mean, listen, at the end of the day, what we're not about to do is sit here and brazenly disrespect Kamala Harris. Because her support, she's still a major power player in the Democratic Party and her support means something. But we really, as Democrats, even the moderates, even the conservative Dems, have got to stop this outright disrespect of Kamala Harris. And there's just no reason for it. You're cutting off your nose to spite your face. Oh, well, you know, you love to see it, right? When they start turning on each other.

I don't know why it's so entertaining. But because it is a great example of why their ideas are so convoluted. They're walking hypocrites, as you guys know. And Kamala Harris was a flawed candidate. There's no, even Democrats believe that. Bottom line here is that, please, continue Kamala Harris, trying to be a force for good in the party, continue to speak out, and I'd love to see what happens in reaction. But as far as the X's and those in regards to this, it's a lack of common sense. Take a listen. Alex, I just, I really have to just push back on one thing.

I understand what Don saying about the respect on all of that. But what about the poor operations of the vice, former vice president's team, not checking with the Kennedy, which they are allowed to do now after the Supreme Court ruling. This was extremely bad staff work, and it is a big mistake by Team Harris, a much bigger mistake for her, frankly, than it was for the candidate to say no thank you. And that's why I said it's a lack of common sense.
