has made a shocking announcement against President Trump. Take a look. That's the president. Some of your immigration enforcement efforts have gone too far. In July, 50% of the 50,000 people that were detained had no criminal record. Be careful what your advisors are telling you about immigration policy. The same Hispanics who help you get to the White House in 2024 feel betrayed today. You can be for immigration when Lincoln was for slavery and Reagan was for communism.

I'm not talking about giving them amnesty. I'm talking about giving them a dignified light in this promised land. and Maria O'I. O'Irhusar, and I approve this message. I want to make something very clear here. The president did not run on targeted deportation. He ran on mass deportation. I find it fascinating that we literally need to break down the meaning of mass deportation to people, including people serving in Congress who represent the Republican Party in a state like Florida.

But this is what this Congresswoman has decided to do. And it's just so unfortunate because. at the same time she's doing this ad, a new fraud scheme from an illegal alien has gone viral. Take a look. Tonight authorities say Travis Kelsey and others falling victim to a Ponzi scheme, duping investors out of millions. Here's Aaron Kuttersky. Tonight, the multi-million dollar Ponzi scheme that ensnared Kansas City Chief Star and Taylor Swift's new husband, Travis Kelsey, led by this man. I took a plea deal. We focused on getting a pardon because there was a lot of gross violations of the law. Jawa Har defrauded Kelsey and other investors, including professional athletes, out of more than

$30 million. Through his investment company, Swift Dark Capital, federal prosecutors in Missouri said Jawa har embarked on a calculated years-long effort to enrich himself at the expense of his investors. That's just one of many examples we've used here on the show to make the case, that if you're in the country unlawfully, you should be deported. I don't think there's any exceptions to that, except if you're obviously a child and someone threw you across the border and left you. That's a different scenario.

But besides that, if you're in the country on legally, the law is very clear. So when Congresswoman Salazar comes out and says 50% of people who've been detained don't have a criminal record, do they need a criminal record to be detained and deported? No, they don't. They need to be in the country unlawfully, and that's exactly what's going on here. Which takes me back to my original point. Where did President Trump campaign on targeted operations? I don't get it. I don't get it.

But Travis Kelsey, who is famous, who is a millionaire, multi-millionaire, that is, if he's getting defrauded by illegal aliens, just imagine regular American citizens. We've seen people who are not the worst of the worst, not bad outbrose being taken. And then obviously there was what happened in Minneapolis. Your colleague, Congressman Salazar, says she's not advocating for amnesty, just dignity. And now we have an issue that Republicans used to have the advantage on, immigration. and voters are saying they prefer Democrats over Republicans on the issue. Do you understand why the pendulum swung that much? Well, first of all, I'm not sure I accept that the pendulum has swung that much.

I think most of the people that I talk to, again, not just Republicans. I mean, I live near Austin, Texas. I've got a pretty diverse set of opinions in Austin. And people are very happy that our streets are safer, that we're not having as much fentanyl, that we don't have as many cartel problems and gang problems in South Texas. and those were very real ranchers getting run over. Lifetime Democrats, by the way, longtime Texas Democrats, long-time Texas Hispanic Democrats in South Texas,

who are still delighted that the secure border has made their lives a lot better. And by the way, on the removals, with all due respect, we've removed a lot of bad hombres. We've removed a lot of people that were dangerous, that were engaged in, you know, assaults and had criminal records. And yes, it's not an easy job to go through and start removing people who are here illegally, but they're here illegally and there are other factors. Okay, maybe I just have to do this from my own sanity, so I can sleep well at night in the comments section.

Can you please tell me? Do you have a problem with the current mass deportation operation? And if you do have a problem, please tell us what your problem is exactly. I want you to write it as if I'm stupid and I'm an idiot because I want to make sure that when I read your comments, I get exactly what you are writing. I'm going to tell you guys right now, I just don't see it. Okay?

Unless I'm blind and I'm not in the room. And obviously, I'm not Hispanic, as Congresswoman Salazar pointed out, okay? I don't, I'm not in that community. So I clearly don't have an understanding of that culture. But last time I talked to people who are Hispanic, who came here legally, they were more hardcore about this than I was, okay? I mean, they have zero tolerance on this stuff. All of the things that add up in expenses and costs for people, particularly in Texas,

where you've got health care and you've got education and all those things. So you're trying to remove the bad hombres. You're trying to remove people here illegally and do it to have sanity in our system. And by the way, address our legal immigration issues as well. We've made progress. But with all due respect, our Democrat colleagues are not exactly sitting down with us to try to figure out how to move legislation that we can work together. So obviously we had to do everything, including fund ICE and Border Patrol using reconciliation,

rather than a sit-down and a bipartisan appropriations matter. We had to do it through reconciliation. All right. I'm not too sure the point that Chip Roy was making there towards the end. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt because it didn't sound like he had anything to say about her comments. And maybe I'm just a radical on this. And I'm going to explain why I am. In fact, I'll just show you why I am. Because if we don't stand up for our nation laws and we don't actually enforce what's on the books here and remove these people from this country, I'm going to tell you what's going to happen. Democrats are going to win at least one chamber in the midterms. setting up their chance actually win the presidency in 2028. And when that happens, this is exactly what they're going to do. I agree that we should have open borders and we should immediately legalize all the undocumented individuals who are residing within the United States, all 12 million of them. Because as both of my comrades up here have said, it benefits the American economy. And besides, my perspective on this is basically why should your ability to live where you want, receive a living wage, and pursue your own individual desire to live where you want in the world, be conditioned by where you're born? It just doesn't make sense. And that is Exhibit A to why we have to stay firm. You know, this is what I would call tough love. I don't want these people to obviously suffer bad times. I don't wish that upon anybody, but at the end of the day, you broke our nation's laws to come to this country.

If I, as an American, did that in any other country, not only would I be subjected or I would not be subjected to free health care and resources, you know, ways to make money. No, I would either have been killed, sent to prison, immediately thrown out. You know, that's what happens around the world. And the problem with America is we allow our empathy to blind us from order. And if we don't have order, what do we have instead? We have chaos. Now, to Congresswoman Salazar's credit, she's had this same perspective from the very beginning, especially in 2024 leading up to the presidential election.

Here's an interview showing you just that. Congresswoman, if I may, I know our time here is limited. I'm asking about the potential deportation of hundreds of thousands of people. from your community. The deportation is going to be among those criminals who are the gang members, the gutaways, the Tren Diorawa. I am sure. Not all 200,000 undocumented in your community.

Is that what you're saying? I am sure that we're not, that the Trump administration is not going to be targeting those people who have been here for more than five years that have American kids, that don't have criminal records, that have been working in the economy and paying taxes. I am sure that they're going to hone in on the criminals who are right. less than four years ago. This immigration situation that we find ourselves in in 2026 is the result of failed leadership throughout history.

Okay. Some of the failures include, why is it that someone can cross the border illegally and still be required to pay taxes? Explain that to me. How is that even an option? Okay. How is it an option that people can stay in the country as long as they have illegally? Like, those shouldn't even be scenarios.

And if there are scenarios, they should be rare. They're actually normal. We have people who've been here five, 10, 20, 30 years. Can I just make a note here, Elizabeth, about that ad. Maria Alvira Salazar has been calling for amnesty for illegal migrants for 10 years, right? And she's been warning Republicans for 10 years that this is an issue that they need to go back to the Reagan position of amnesty is the way to go. And she's been wrong on this many, many, many times. So she may look like she made this ad in response to the president's immigration policy,

but this has been her tune forever, right? She is saying, I'm not, I'm not, this is her. In her ad, she says, Mr. President, you are wrong, you're being misled by your advisors. Hispanics feel betrayed by this immigration policy. Whether it's right or wrong, that's what she herself is saying directly to the president in this ad. I'm just pointing out that her message has not changed. at all, right? So she may be couching it in a new way, but she has always favored amnesty, which is in diametric opposition to what the MAGA base wants and what many Hispanics

voted for in 2024. So as we get closer to the midterm elections, a lot of these stories are always going to be surrounded by what voters want, what they voted for, what the expectations are and has the president met them? And what is the best path to? forward. You know, I think that's going to be majority of the conversation moving forward in almost every story that we're going to have to talk about. But just on this one, I want to put a pin on it. One, this is who Congresswoman Salazar has been for quite some time. I showed you proof of that back in 2024. Two, the Republican Party definitely does not support her view. You'll find a couple of them that will. But overall, no, that that's not amnesty. We see what happened with California.

No, thank you. And number three, the Trump administration and ICE is really suffering from modern times. I mean, they're not doing anything technically different than what the Obama administration did. The only difference is the times we're in. Everybody has a cell phone. Everybody has an opinion, and the political divide is massive. And I just think we should take those things into consideration. Let's go to this other side story, which is kind of a spinoff of what we were just talking about, because as it relates to the midterms, here was Vice President J.D. Vance message to the American people.

And the reason why I want to play it because there's new polling that came out that we have to talk about. Take a look at this. There is a lot of good that we've done over the past 18 months. We cut taxes bigly. We cut taxes on overtime,

social security, and tips. Those are tax cuts for middle American workers, not just for the elites in Washington and New York City. We've had an amazing success with the border with immigration. We've pursued H-1B reform. that prioritizes American workers over foreign nationals.

There's a lot of good that's been done, but there's a lot of work left to do. Don't give power to the people who cause the problems that we're fixing. Give us another chance or give us another couple of years to continue to work on the amazing things that we've been doing for the past two years. Now, wait until you see the poll that I'm going to show you in regards to some of these issues that the vice president raised. But on the merits of what he's essentially proposing, which is, hey, America, just give us two more years, will you?

Okay, don't turn the country over to chaos. I agree with that. You may disagree with a lot of things that the president has done up to this point. I know there's a few. I absolutely have a problem with H-1B visas. I think that program should essentially be banned at this point. I mean, let's just call it what it is. I mean, no matter how many times he raises the fees, it doesn't matter.

You're still having people fill entry-level positions using H-1B visas when it should be American citizens. Okay, so I absolutely push back on that. Secondly, you know, I do believe the social media companies should have been financially held accountable for the censorship that happened during COVID. I think there should have been a class action lawsuit led by the DOJ against these social media companies. Never happened. Those are like two of my big things, by the way. But again, even if you say, well, Iran war, high gas prices, high costs, nothing has improved, nothing has really come down.

Let's say I give you that. So do you think the Democrats can do any better based on what you saw under the Biden administration? Let's hear more. And the second argument I'd make is even if you don't agree with us on every issue, the other party is consumed by craziness. They're consumed by people who want to steal everything, who want to give the country over to illegal aliens and criminals. They actively brag about it. I mean, I've heard a lot of crazy stuff guys over the past, you know, few years in politics. But when I heard somebody running for Congress in New York say that,

July 4th was about the liberation of Puerto Rico and Palestine, I thought to myself, this person needs to be checked into a mental hospital, not given a seat in Congress. Yeah, I mean, I agree with everything he said there. It's just common sense overall. I mean, you want people serving in Congress who are at least pro-American, I think that's fair to say, and are not looking to blow up everything because they disagree with our founding fathers or find that our country is really a country, a terrorism. As we talked about earlier, you know, Hamas Piker. That's what he says. We are worse than al-Qaeda. His words and not mine. And yeah, people campaigning with him, but that's, we, we talked about that plenty of time.

So what about the American people? What are the polls saying about these particular issues? Well, let's go to Fox News. Here's what they had to say. Until then, grocery prices are a major problem for 62% of registered voters in a Fox News poll. And gas prices are a major problem for 61% of voters that is up 13% from the 2024 election cycle. The Fed rate hike yesterday isn't going to help prices for housing or cars. Now the president says interest rates in the United States should be 1% or less because we are the best credit in the world by far. We are carrying almost every country in the world and that cannot go on any longer. And now he's kind of calling out the new Fed chair who he just installed.

What I do find fascinating about this Fox News poll, in 2024, 60% said housing cost was an issue. Today it's only 54%. So there's a drop there. Healthcare is higher. gas prices are higher, grocery prices are lower, according to this poll. So it's an interesting dynamic. And guys, this is the reality here when you are president, unfortunately, for President Trump, he's coming behind someone who caused record inflation. So any risky move that he makes that causes even the slightest level of increased cost, they're going to blame it all on him.

And that's essentially what the Democrats have been attempting to do all year long. Now, will the American people see through the noise? I guess we're going to have to find that out. On a generic congressional ballot, Democrats lead Republicans by 13 points among likely midterm voters, doubling that lead since July, at least according to this one poll. This is Marquette Law School as we start to get a lot more polling in in recent days.

So when drilling down on the registered independent voters who say that they don't lean either way, 41% prefer a Democrat candidate, just 10% prefer a Republican. She said, important to note that 40% say they do not want a candidate from either party. Yeah, so when I see those numbers, I'm not actually shocked by them, only because this is the reality of when a new president comes in, the opposing party is able to leverage the disappointment or the discontent of what has happened over the first two years of that administration,

is why 94% of the time, one chamber goes to the opposing party. So it makes sense that we have polls showing some of that. Now, I will say this, even if those polls are half true, right? Because I know polls have been wrong lately. No question about that. The indictment here is not necessarily on President Trump. I would argue the indictment is on the Republican Party. They have just not done anything.

They have not said anything. They have not literally did what you were supposed to do as a party to earn people's vote. it's almost as if they expect people to. I don't know if they even do. I mean, sometimes I feel like they're moving as if they know they're going to lose, unfortunately. And so I hope that's not the mentality. It shouldn't be the mentality given what's at stake,

given what the alternative is, which would be chaos. I just don't see the purpose of having that mindset. But guys, this is why you have to let your voice be known. You know, you have to make sure that locally you're tapped in because if things do go to crap in D.C. and they do go the Democrats way, locally, you could still be insulated in some way. You could ensure that in your own backyard, in your own community, on your street, things are improving the way in the way that you want to see them.

But if people aren't doing that, they're going to easily get demoralized, especially if Democrats win, which I don't think is really going to happen in the way that's being described. I think maybe history is more likely to happen, which is one chamber goes to the Democrats.
