All right, talking about stories that I've been flying under the radar today, there are two huge ones that I think are positive.
Number one, President Trump is celebrating another economic win the fourth month in a row where economists have been proven wrong.
And secondly, Elon Musk has offered a public apology to the president on his own platform.
Let's start here.
It's been reported that some actors may be boycotting tonight.
I couldn't jail us.
Honestly, I could. All I do is run the country well. The economic numbers you saw them today, they're setting records.
We took $88 million in tariffs in two months, far beyond what anybody expected. There's no inflation. People are happy. People are wealthy.
The country is getting back to strength again. That's what I care about. And we're going to have a safe country. We're not going to have what would have happened in Los Angeles.
Remember, if I wasn't there, if I didn't act quickly, or that Los Angeles would be burning to the ground right now.
So that was President Trump at the Kennedy Center for their first show.
Now, the story here in the beginning is about another economic win for President Trump
and another loss for the experts and the economists who continue to claim that President Trump's tariffs
are going to cause record high inflation.
Let's just show you how CNN chooses to spin that exact story.
Take a look.
Breaking news, brand new inflation data just in prices up, but not by as much as had been anticipated.
Let's get right to CNN's Matt Egan for the latest on this.
Matt, what are you hearing?
Well, John, look, we got another month of positive inflation news.
Despite these historic tariffs, the latest numbers.
do show that inflation remained relatively tame in May.
So the big number is the annual rate that came in at 2.4%.
That is a slight acceleration from 2.3% in April.
But this was better than expected month over month.
Prices were up by just 0.1%.
Again, that's better than expected.
And that's actually a deceleration from what we saw in April.
Now, one reason why these inflation numbers came in very much better than expected is because we did see a drop in energy prices.
So as I stated, it's the fourth month in a row where economists and experts are wrong once again.
They continue to believe that President Trump and these terrorists will cause extreme problems in the economy.
And that's where they go wrong.
They use extreme language.
They scare people.
And when it doesn't manifest, what should people say that?
then. Well, what they should be saying is criticizing these individuals for, I would say,
having Trump derangement syndrome. Now, I'm going to prove to you that they still do, even on
CNN, because after he gave you that take, he continues to double down on the idea that tariffs
will cause a spike in inflation. Take a listen. The expectation is that in the months ahead,
we're going to see that inflation rate tick higher because of tariffs.
But at this point, John, we're not really seeing that in the headline numbers.
And again, that is in part because we've seen pretty low gas prices.
And so that is helping.
And I do think big picture, this is a good report when it comes to the cost of living.
We know there's been a lot of concerns about what's going to happen to inflation.
It's still possible that inflation does tick higher.
But at this point, we're not really seeing it in these numbers.
Yeah, so maybe the reality here, after this fourth month, it's just not going to happen in the way they keep telling people.
It's like they want you to be scared when it comes to the economy.
Now, before we move any further, let me share with you today's message from our sponsor because it's relevant when we're talking about the economy.
It's no secret that some prices are finally coming down, but let's be honest, every dollar still counts.
That's why my family and I will use upside, the app that puts real money back in your pocket when you fill up for gas, grab groceries,
or eat out. No points, no gimmicks, just cash. And that's why we use it at Shell, Chipotle,
and even Whole Foods. Get this. Upside is paid over $1 million in cash every week to people just like us.
It's one of the few apps I actually trust. So all you have to do is tap the link in the description below,
scan the QR code, or use promo code Darkens and you can get an extra 25 cents back per gallon
on your first fuel tank. Use Upside because keeping what you earn should be common sense.
It's unbelievable that, you know, Jerome Powell is just sitting around waiting, you know, the president calls him too late.
You know, he's just too late Powell.
I mean, why hasn't he cut?
I mean, you remember, if he cut interest rates 1%, and you've got Europe cutting like crazy, you realize that saves America $300 billion a year?
It's unbelievable how much we would save.
If he did his job and he cut interest rates, the economy is ready for it, it's easy.
inflation is low. Come on. He's got to do his job soon.
And the bottom line here that you need to understand about all this is no matter how many times
President Trump and his administration criticizes Jerome Powell, it's not going to change anything.
He's not going to drop rates at this moment in time. And we know it's suspicious because he did it under Joe Biden in that last year leading up to the election.
We may not like it. I don't. But that is the reality.
Now, let's go to our next story, which I think is worthy of our attention here, given all the draw.
and that took place, and that is Elon Musk and President Trump. Now, what's interesting is Elon Musk posted
this today. I regret some of my posts about President Trump last week. They went too far. Now, this is
considered to be a public apology, and there are also reports that there was a private phone call
between Elon Musk and President Trump. And as a side note, don't you love it when they say there was a
private phone call? Well, if it's private, how do you know? But okay, fine. And so this had led to this
post here. And here's the White House press secretary about what the president thought of Elon Musk's
apology. Take a listen. Thank you. About Elon Musk, he issued an apology this morning. Has the president
accepted the apology or does he think it's too little too late? The president acknowledged the
statement that Elon put out this morning and he is appreciative of it. And we are continuing to focus
on the business of the American people. And has the administration
started a review of Musk's government contracts, something that the president said he's considering.
What do you mean by that?
Has the administration started a review of the contracts that Musk and his companies currently have?
No efforts have been made on that front as far as I'm aware.
And listen, I don't believe any efforts would be made at this point in time because Elon Musk hasn't done anything.
It's been all talk at this point.
Now, obviously, there was that story where he could potentially invest money into Democrat candidates,
but has he done it? No. Has any moves been made? No. So it would be immature to react to a story
like that. And by the way, President Trump is busy running the country. So this drama should be
what it is today, which is in the trash. And listen, let's credit Elon Musk for putting up that
post because imagine how many people that we know super successful still would never apologize.
And we know President Trump would never apologize. Think about that for a second.
second. The richest man went on to X his own platform and put that post up. I'm not asking you to
like him. I'm not asking you to forgive him. I just think that deserves some level of credit,
even if it's just a little bit. And according to Fox News, the thing that bothered Trump the most,
they're just speculating, is Elon Musk's attacks on the big, beautiful bill. But the reasoning
they give behind why that is is something I disagree with. But let's first hear the clip. Take a listen.
I don't know for sure, but I would say I have everything.
that he posted, you know what bothers them most?
The attacks on the Big Beautiful Bill
because it hurt, it temporarily
it halted the momentum they had in the Senate.
So now he's got, wait, this is my landmark
piece of legislation, you better not heard it.
Remember, he blew up the debt ceiling deal
that was done so they could move forward, and it
delayed everything for two weeks.
Every day matters, they got three weeks to get it done,
and I think that if they could just, Elon,
could just stay out of the way and let the politics
happen, and the bill be defined, the president
would be more than willing to talk
out after July 4. I definitely think
they will make up. You have a guy who
is used to leading a company,
a massive company, wealthiest man
in the world. He's not used to being told what
to do. He's used to doing the firing.
But in this case, he's dealing with the most
powerful man in the world.
And so I think that
there was frustration there. He's
skis. Yeah. Yeah. And he's
mercurial. He's a different
kind of person. So
But there's no way to turn. He can't go
Democrat. Everything that they stand for,
he has come out of his. He won't go
Democrat. He just didn't like the bill because it wasn't in his
best interest for his company. 100%.
Yeah. And so that last point from them, I totally
disagree with. I don't think it has anything to do with
the Big Beautiful Bill in particular as
it relates to his companies. You have to understand
his companies became successful
when it was Democrats in control and they were
passing, I would say, worse
off bills than what we see
here in the Big Beautiful bill.
That would be my own personal opinion
about it. But sure, if that's what they
want to say to their audience, then have at it, I guess. Now, here's what Vivek Wama Swami had to say
also about Elon Lus. Tickalus. Are you disappointed in any way, as Musk expressed about this bill?
It looks like he and President Trump are sort of, you know, patching things up a bit. But, but Musk was
disappointed to see that there was still so much spending. Well, I'll say a few things. First of all,
all's well that ends well. And Elon, myself, President Trump, we all probably share one thing
in common is that none of us has cut out to be a particularly great number two. But the fact
the matter is Elon's going to be a great leader in the private sector. I'm leading in the state of
Ohio. And President Trump is the unambiguous leader of the United States of America. And I believe
on track to do a great job. Now, are there multiple objectives we have to accomplish? Absolutely.
President Trump won in a mandate with a mandate for securing the border and addressing the issues
that he talked about most on the campaign trail, that doesn't take away from the reality,
and I do believe it is a reality, that we're going to have to address this national debt crisis
because that falls on the shoulders of our next generation of Americans. I'm a father of two
sons, one's five and one's two. It's their generation that's going to deal with it. Now,
if you ask me, the right way to deal with this over the long run is how do we create a culture
of independence for that next generation? To me, that's the key to the kingdom. How do we
cultivate a new generation that isn't even dependent on that federal entitlement state. That's the way
we need to be thinking ambitiously for the long run. Okay. So I actually agree with that take from
Vivek. And I would say that's the story in my own life. You know, in general, listen, I don't care
who the president is. I don't care what the federal government is doing. I live my life based on my
relationship with God, his plan for me and waking up every single day, living my purpose,
and doing the best that I can. And I truly believe if I'm doing things like that, I will
live a happy and success of life. That doesn't mean it's always going to be peaches and cream.
Okay. It doesn't mean it's always going to be good. There's going to be ups and downs.
But the problem with our country today is people are dependent instead of being interdependent, right?
They depend too much on the federal government and they take it too seriously.
Which takes us to this next story, which is another big update in this daily chaotic situation in
Los Angeles. So the police chief just came out and is now causing a story.
or in regards to President Trump ordering the National Guard and U.S. Marines to the area.
He claims it's unclear on why the troops are there.
Let's hear exactly what he said.
Take a listen.
We were not in a position to request the National Guard.
We have a protocol that we work up through.
First, we bring in all internal resources to bear on the issue, whatever it is.
Then we mobilize the department or part of the department to be able to get everybody out there
dealing with the issue.
If we don't have the capacity at that point to be able to.
able to do that, then through the sheriff, we request mutual aid, and we get our law enforcement
partners from police departments and sheriff's department throughout the Southern California region
to assist us in doing what it is we need to do. We're at that level now, and we're nowhere
near a level where we would be reaching out to the governor for National Guard at this stage.
And my hope is that things are going in the right direction now and that we wouldn't have
had to have done that or we won't either. Okay, so just so you understand, what does mainstream media
doing, particularly this police chief, they're playing politics. So he's making an appearance on
CNN to support their narrative that President Trump is wrong when it came to deploying the National
Guard troops and U.S. Marines. Now, of course, the police chief is not going to say publicly that he
agrees with President Trump because that would obviously ruin him. And so he makes a comment like,
oh, it's just kind of unclear. But can I remind you guys of something? The National Guard and the United
States Marines, they're deployed for one reason and one reason only to protect federal assets.
That includes the buildings, personnel, ICE detention centers.
I don't care if it's one building, two buildings, 100 buildings.
That's why they were deployed using Title 10.
Now, of course, MSDNC is already catching on to the story, and they're lying to their audience
as usual.
Take a listen.
As you kind of pointed out, I have experience in both these areas.
So I'm a former Navy helicopter pilot.
I served in the military for almost 10 years.
A former federal prosecutor,
I've worked closely with law enforcement as well.
Those are two very different missions.
And the Posse Comitatis Act says we don't put law,
we don't put military people, troops on our streets
in all but a very few instances.
And I know you had Jake on earlier talking about those instances.
So we do that because we don't want to be a military state.
This is a civilian-led democracy.
Now, here's a fun fact about DeVorey.
I think one thing that will actually get me upset is when I hear veterans who have served in the military speak just like she did.
Because what's happening is they have the information, the knowledge.
They know exactly what President Trump is doing and why it's lawful, but they refuse to say that.
And they know they're refusing to say it.
So it's really frustrating.
Secondly, they had nothing to say when Tim Walls activated the National Guard to make sure people were inside due to COVID.
it. Did we forget about that? It's just so fascinating when Democrats deploy National Guard,
it's all good. But because it's President Trump, now we have a problem. They're even criticizing
Greg Abbott in Texas for having the National Guard ready to go. But this is the hypocrisy,
ladies and gentlemen. Now, of course, Tom Cotton, if we want to hear what the right has to say about
this, here's what he just said on Hannity. Take a listen.
Yeah, Sean, I feel badly for the Los Angeles, please.
Department. They have many brave officers, but they've got a Democratic mayor who's not allowing
them to do their job. Contrast that with the report we heard at the top of the show in New York
City, where the brave men and women of the NYPD are being allowed to crack down on any crimes
from the very beginning before violence gets out of control. I hope that remains the case in New York,
and it's a good example for the rest of the country. But you always hope local police can maintain
order. But in some cases, they're not able to because of the scale of the violence, or is this
the case in Los Angeles or was in 2020. If they're not allowed to by Democratic mayors,
then you expect the governor to call out the National Guard. Again, if you have a Democratic
governor who refuses to, the president is well within his authority to federalize the guard
to ensure that life and property is protected. Tom Cotton is spot on about this. As you guys
know, I took you through the actual law itself. I showed you how you could look it up and read it
verbatim. So there's no question he has the authority to do it. But Democrats are not
going to acknowledge that. And the reason why we have to talk about this repeatedly, because I know
you have people in your life who are trying to argue with you about it, whether it's your colleagues,
friends, even family members. They think what President Trump is doing is authoritarian, and he's
violating the U.S. Constitution. That is so far from the truth. And it's exactly what we started
off this video talking about, how they use extreme language to report on President Trump.
And when it doesn't come true, they have nothing to say. So we're going to call it out.
Now, here is DNI, Tulsi Gabbard, also commenting not only on these riots, but the investigation to find out who's funding them. Take a listen.
What can you tell us about the orchestration, the financing, and is Gavin either whether he knows it or not actually siding with the cartels here?
Whether he knows it or not, he is, certainly. Again, this is something that the Department of Justice and the FBI is looking into who is funding these protesters.
We've seen, you know, the ads put up on Craigslist, offering people thousands of dollars a week to go out and conduct these violent and dangerous riots in the streets of not only Los Angeles, but we saw earlier in Chicago and New York and other cities across the country.
And ultimately, again, what the Democrats are advocating for is this continued lawlessness on our streets.
And once again, insulting the intelligence of the American people saying, don't believe.
what your eyes see very clearly is happening. Just listen to us when we tell you nothing to see
here, just peaceful protests. The American people are not as stupid as these Democrats are trying
to make us out to be. And I think that's a perfect point that she made there at the end about
everything that's taken place over the past six days is that mainstream media does not want you to
believe what you see. They don't want you to believe in regards to what you hear. And they just
want you to take their word for it, especially
Democrats. And that's why
we have this show in the way that we do. I show you what
both sides are saying. I'm not going to tell you
what to think. You make up your own mind or what you
think is true, but
do your research. And the fact
remains when we talk about all of these stories
today, the economic win
once again for President Trump and how the
economists and experts have been proven wrong
a fourth time. And then
President Trump ordering the National Guard and the U.S. Marines
to L.A., which he has the authority
to do so to protect federal
assets. And finally, which I really want to get your guys' reaction to, is Elon Musk and his,
I guess you would call that an apology to the president and the president's reaction. So what do you
guys make of everything we discussed in this video? Give me your reaction, your analysis in the
comment section below. Now, what's interesting earlier today, celebrities are now calling out
ICE and criticizing them for doing their job. And what I did in that video is walked you
through each story, showed you the facts, and debunked the lies. So if you missed out on that
and what we talked about earlier today, all you have to do is click on that video because it's coming
up right now.
