Mainstream media's fight with President Trump has taken an interesting turn as earlier this morning they were banned from the White House. Take a look. Okay, guys, we may be witnessing the escorting out of CNN, MSN now. I think they are actually literally escorting them out. It's like they might be packing up, maybe. Are they being thrown out of their...

See, everybody over here is grabbing some pictures. They might have cleared out their tent or something. There's definitely something going on. It's never a dull moment here. Now we're at a point where the media is literally losing their mind. I mean, MSDNC almost came to tears, and you'll hear it in their voice as we get through this video. But let's just, I guess, cover one of the main defenses of President Trump's stance here.

number one, social media companies did cancel him. Number two, mainstream media at one point canceled him. And the Biden administration canceled 440 different outlets. I guess because it's CNN, MSDNC, and Politico is what makes this a big deal. Joey, I can imagine some of our viewers at home screaming at the TV saying, but Trump's right. These are not news outlets. They just hate them all the time.

It's not a violation of the First Amendment. this is way overblown, right? That's the counterpoint to this. Are you sympathetic to that view? Where do you come down on all of this? I'm absolutely sympathetic to it. I understand it because I'm not a journalist. I didn't go to school for journalism. I didn't take classes on the ethics of reporting a story and being able to do anonymous sources. You look at these two networks specifically, you know, just trove after trove of anonymous source says, and then all of this scuttle, all of this gossip. It's just a constant stream. They've made it the brand of their networks. It's identity. be anti-Trump. Does that justify this action? And that question from Joey is really in regards to our society's morality in order to answer that particular question, because from a legal

point of view, the press pool, they're going to get access. This isn't going to last very long, okay? Barack Obama tried to do something like this in 2009. It just isn't going to happen, unfortunately. That's why when this story first came out, I would tell the administration and they should be leveraging Congress for everything that they can to get some bill passed that pushes back on propaganda and holds networks like ABC and CNN accountable when they report things that are factually untrue, right? Pure lies. All right.

Let's get to something more entertaining here. Here is one of the journalists outside the White House from MSDNC almost coming to tears. Just hear it in her voice. Take a look. I arrived here as I do many days of the week. many weekends and I walked through the first entrance gate. I said good morning to the officers. I was able to walk through freely. Then I entered the second gate with no issues. I showed my badge. And then once I was inside where we have magnetometers, I attempted to scan my badge, which we have

to do and able to get into the White House grounds. It did not work. There was a red beeping light. And so the officer asked me to hand over my badge. He said that it was disabled. I asked why I was not able to get inside. He said it was above him. And then our producer, after me, also scanned her badge. And it actually worked. She was able to get through and into the White House. But I want to say not just me, but also our photographer had their badge taken this morning. Of course, after President Trump made clear that he wants to ban MS now, CNN and Politico, yesterday our journalists were able to stay here working on the White House grounds.

This is the first action we know of them actually denying us entry into the White House. where some see heroes and others see egos Bloomberg sees the era of billionaire athletes a fad to some the future of money to others we see crypto's trillion dollar swings the end of jobs or the end of human struggle we see the endless funds fueling the AI hype

while others follow the noise we follow the money learn more at Bloomberg.com All right. So I'm like Joey from Fox News there. I'm not really losing my mind over this because I know this isn't going to last long. All right. It's a temporary thing. The courts will get involved. You know, they'll get access again. It's just kind of one of those things. And it's also a reminder of what it's like to live in a constitutional republic because even if someone crosses the line, the third branch of government, known as the judiciary, is going to step in and set things right. So, you know, that's kind of my overall reaction. Maybe I'm a little petty like the president is. Maybe he's giving them a taste of their own medicine. Again, isn't going to last long.

And what's funny is because the Internet is undefeated, you could go back to 2021 and see CNN advocating for the idea that Fox News should have been banned from the White House. Take a listen. There are, you know, these questions about Foxes as Fox radicalizes and as it becomes even more and more of a political tool, Zerwick, you know, you. wrote a column recently for the son about this saying Fox should be viewed as a political tool. And that raises a question. Should it be a part of the White House press pool? You know, should it be afforded the privileges to come with news gathering?

Even though they do have some news reporters at the White House, you're saying they're primarily a political tool. So should that be reassessed? What's crazy is the Chiron at the bottom said right-wing radicalization flows from Fox News shows at reliable sources. Okay. You know, this is the political game we find ourselves in in 2026. And I often say that the media at this point could look at the president and predict exactly who he is, what he's going to say, and what he's going to do. So why pick fights with the president? Why go after him in the way that they have, thinking it's not going to backfire on them, thinking they're going to win in the end. All they've done is damage their credibility since he's come down that golden escalator as people have said multitude of times. And it's because of their own doing. They can't help themselves at this point. All right.

Maybe this will make you laugh as well. As CNN was reporting the same thing on the corner, someone screamed why it does make sense that they're outside the White House. Take a look. On Air Force One, the president has a lot of travel coming up. He's going to the United Nations. He's also doing a lot of midterm travel. So we'll have to see how that...

All right. So that guy, he walked by with his wife and he said, tell the truth. I mean, that's what you guys are supposed to do. Tell the truth. But we know that's not what they're going to do. And by the way, this is what I said. Let's go back to it. If Congress would get involved, maybe, maybe it would set things right.

But there's no incentive at today's world for networks like CNN to tell the truth. People are getting their news from all different sources at this point. So they're literally, I don't think local media will die off. right, your local news affiliate, I think they still have a huge purpose in our country, especially because their news is more localized. I just think the national news is continuing to die off. All right, why don't we go behind the scenes and see this point of view? I thought my email inbox was private.

So as a reaction to this entire fight, you have people who clearly have a serious case of Trump derangement syndrome by the name of Jim Acosta, who is now advocating for the press pool to essentially no longer cover anything from the White House at all, do a blackout in regards to the president. I don't think that's going to work either, but take a look.

The press should band together and not cover the White House. Don't go to the White House. The White House Correspondents Association. Please stop covering the press. Do not operate a pool anymore. Just stop. Just tell them this weekend. There will be no pool next week when he goes up to New York for the General Assembly at the United Nations.

That should happen right away. In addition to that, it should be told to the White House that there will be no White House correspondence dinner. What in the world are the members of the press doing having a dinner with Donald Trump when he's when he's going after the free press in this fashion. Now, I don't think that any of these things are going to happen because sadly, as Jason was saying a few moments ago, we have a situation in this country where corporations have been bending the knee since Donald Trump came back into the White House.

All right. Well, if anybody actually made the corporations bend the knee, that would have been the Biden administration after they coerced the social media companies into censoring people over COVID-19. But that's a whole other thing, right? Let's go to our other update. major victory according to President Trump and his staunch supporters, and that is in regards to Greenland. He's announced that there is a permanent deal to plus up our military presence with Greenland. Let's hear more on that now. Take a look. Expanded security and military rights

in Greenland, one official at the State Department explained a little bit further saying that this agreement is going to bar adversaries from making investments in Greenland that could threaten in the United States, and it would also ban any non-Natal base in Greenland, essentially guaranteeing that China and Russia cannot have a base in Greenland or send troops there. President Trump posted online, quote, we will immediately begin the process of developing a large military presence in the appropriate part of Greenland. We will work with the people of Greenland and its development and construction. This solution is a great one for the United States of America, Denmark, Greenland, and all of our allies. Yeah, so one of the reasons why this is a huge deal

for the administration because no other president has essentially secured U.S. national security concerns in the Arctic in this way. Now, we don't technically, like Greenland is not America, just so we're going to understand. It's not territory, you know, like Puerto Rico. But from a military point of view, it's essentially our land because our military presence is going to be plused up there and no other military presence from another country is allowed, as they said. And again, it also speaks to the level of his cabinet, what they were able to truly negotiate, including the president himself.

And he actually proved a lot of people wrong because they said nothing was ever going to come of this. And this is, just so we're clear, an expansion of an agreement that had already existed. He's just taken it to a whole other level at this point. President Trump has really pressured this issue saying Denmark should sell Greenland and at one point not ruling out military force. forced to acquire the territory. And the president saying the U.S. needed Greenland to deter against Russia and Chinese threats in the Arctic. Now, though, this deal comes after months of negotiating behind the scenes.

Earlier this morning, right here on News Nation or Republican lawmakers applauded the agreement. It's a huge piece of property, and it's very close. Shipping lanes can also be affected. And so by seating security control to the United States, we make sure that Greenland can never be used by our advertising. to hurt us. And what's interesting, most of mainstream media is talking about CNN and MSDNC and political getting banned from the White House and Fox News and these other networks are talking about this win. And I guess if there was a big takeaway for you at home and why this is key, it's just more

from our national security posturing and our ability to place military assets in key locations. That's all this really is. And he's expanding. on it and he's doing exactly what he said it was going to do. This is another one. And by the way, think of the multitude of things that are connected to this accomplishment. If you go back to Panama, Canal, that was a huge one. If you go back to Venezuela, that was a huge one. Now, obviously, Iran is still dragging on and you guys know how I feel about that. But I would argue this is a big one. Let's hear more. The Secretary of St. Marco Rubio responded to the announcement saying, quote, Greenland will

forever be part of the strategic defense area of North America and exclude any adversary from it in the surrounding area. This deal permanently and completely addresses our national security concerns in Greenland. One State Department official explaining the agreement would give Washington the permanent access basing an overflight rights in Greenland. It would also ban any non-NATO base in Greenland. It also would bar adversaries for making investments in Greenland that could threaten the United States. Okay. So maybe you don't like him ban. the outlets like CNN, MSD and C&C, and Politico. But maybe you like that announcement regarding Greenland.

Now, this next one, on the other hand, is concerning. So Gavin Newscom just signed an executive order, essentially trying to implement his own oversight over AI companies within the state of California. Unfortunately, for him, this is going nowhere. Take a look. Today, I'm signing an executive order to speed up a first in America AI safety policy that we have here.

in California. It does a lot of important things. It dramatically speeds up our new law, creating a framework for truly independent safety checks, independent verification organizations, as well as moving the timeline up for oversight of AI auditors up by a full year. California wants to create the standards in this space. The CEO also begins an effort to tighten our safety and security requirements for powerful AI systems as well as models, laying the foundation for requiring third party safety verification on an ongoing basis. So in other words, he's trying to throw a thousand different regulations and overburden the system with his way of governing, which clearly isn't going to work.

Well, definitely backfire. And I don't think AI companies are even going to, I think they would laugh at him for what he's trying to do here. In fact, the regulation regarding AI isn't going to come from California. I would argue the rest of the country does not need California setting any standards anymore because we see how that has worked out. But it's actually going to probably come from the federal government. The last thing we should do is let the AI companies govern the AI companies, right, and make up their own laws. We actually seen this in real world in regards to the airlines.

The airlines at one point were allowed to audit themselves, which had led to some catastrophic plane accidents that led to fatal outcomes. And so that's a big pushback there. I hope they don't make the same mistake with AI. Let's go to Steve Hilton, because I like what he had to say about Newsom. Take a look. Basically, Gavin Newsom kind of going back to COVID time. It's got that same tone and tenor where it's like, shut it down. Hey, any question, shut it, shut the schools down, shut the businesses down, shut it down, Steve.

I think a lot of people watching want to see a kill switch for Democrat policies and Gavin Newsom's leadership, but if you can call it that. But look, the serious point is exactly what you said, Trace, which is the worst kind, In all my years, in and around politics and government, the worst kind of policy decisions come in response to panic. And that is what we're seeing now. People have no idea what they're talking about, running around, sort of quoting talking points

that they've read on social media five minutes beforehand, gimmicks like the kill switch. No serious person even remotely believes that that's a serious proposal, but they throw it out because he wants to look like he's doing something. This is how we ended up with. schools closed, businesses closed, churches closed, billions of dollars accumulated in debt, a total disaster.

Let's not make the same mistake again. And I think the biggest issue here is that every time we have an issue in our society, it's like everybody believes the government should fix it. No, they shouldn't. The government doesn't need to fix AI. Should they implement certain guardrails to protect American citizens of their privacy potentially and their personal safety? Yeah.

But I think that's about it. I mean, at that point, let the private market or the free market do what it's supposed to do. I just find that interesting. So an example of them wanting the government to fix this and really control all of this is the idea of a kill switch. Take a listen. Newsom, also proposing a possible AI kill switch to quickly shut down the tech in an emergency, but can it be done? California Governor Gavin Newsom and President Donald Trump, they've clashed on a number of issues. now artificial intelligence is the latest.

President Trump has framed AI as a competition between the U.S. and China, saying whoever wins AI wins. So we're going to find out probably over the next decade whether or not AI is going to enhance our lives, create more jobs, improve our economy, or will it have the opposite effect? Will the rollout of AI and its ability to evolve at a high speed that we can't even practically comprehend, will it be similar to the internet going back to the turn of the century? We're going to find out. I mean, because there's people on both sides, all right, who say AI is going to be good for us, and there's people who say AI is going to be bad for us. But I will tell you this,

in the short term, I don't think any of the fears are really something you should be losing sleepover. I think one thing to be concerned about is people like Gavin Newsom getting ahead of himself and thinking the government needs to be in control of everything. That's the last thing that needs to happen, in my opinion. All right, let's go to my overall takeaway in today's video because there was a few stories. Where some see heroes and others see egos. Bloomberg sees the era of billionaire athletes. While others follow the noise, we follow the money.

It's not going to last. And it's a taste of their own medicine. Secondly, this whole thing with Greenland is a huge win for President Trump because it's something that he said he was going to do. And it's actually finally manifested itself in something that you can read and see that it's real. Along with the Panama Canal, I explained Venezuela. And listen, the jury is still out in my opinion in regards to Iran.

We're going to find out if concessions will be. able to be secured in the end because I think that's going to be the deciding factor of his legacy. So we'll see there.
