Starting point is 00:00:00 And tonight's sanity report, Adul El-Sahid is continuing to panic, as this time he makes a desperate plea to black voters. Listen to this. American capitalism is born on the backs of African slavery. Right? So from the beginning of it, so the beginning of American capitalism, the jumpstart of wealth that the country got is rotten. You would agree with that.
Starting point is 00:00:21 I'd agree with that 100%. And I would argue that our, like, let's separate. And you asked me about you call yourself a capitalist. Certainly. I gave you the definition of capitalism. I would just argue that America has never actually had a pure form of capitalism. We had closer to purity, but even then when I talked about the 50s and 60s, that was the exclusion of black folk, you know, by way of Jim Crow and segregation and all the red lighting, everything. So, you know, if you're black in America, you've never actually had access to a real capitalism.
Starting point is 00:00:50 You had your labor extracted from you via like the most fundamentally unethical, immoral act. of placing somebody in in in in in in in in in in in in slavery okay well here's something that abdul has forgotten to realize or maybe he just doesn't get it is that before the civil rights legislation black people in america had their own economy had their own schooling had their own businesses right they were getting along just fine now after that legislation went into effect and the welfare society came onto the scene, whatever made the black community great went right into the trash. I mean, you can make a credible argument in regards to that point. So when he speaks about that black America never actually had true capitalism, yeah,
Starting point is 00:01:41 we did. We had our own Wall Street. We know what true capitalism is. And I would argue even today, we are getting a great taste of capitalism. Look how educated and how much money black women in America make today. I mean, it's not even a comparison. So Abdul, you're going to get an F because I just don't believe black voters
Starting point is 00:01:59 are ever going to trust you and you're not the guy for the job. All right, let's go to Charles Barkley as he continues every now and then to explain the brutal truth about what is wrong with the Democratic Party and here's his latest example of that. Listen to this.
Starting point is 00:02:15 Chris, you, you... Listen, I'm an independent who's voted Democratic most of the time. You think that I'm going to be. going to get on TV and kill my credibility saying every Democratic, like some of these people out here talking about no ICE, no prison, so using words like socialism, like, no, I don't believe in that. Wait, wait, no cops? I think that's some of the stupid shit I've ever heard. Well, what? We don't, we, what are we going to do without cops? What are we going to do without prisons?
Starting point is 00:02:54 I've seen some of these politicians, I'm like, this is the stupidest shit ever. And a lot of, most of them, most of them, well, let me think probably all of them have been Democrats. I think that's some of the stupidest shit I ever heard. Now, ICE has to do a much better job, much better job. I think we already know that. And hearing Charles Barkley tell Chris Cuomo that to his face, I think is refreshing. I would also argue that Chris Cuomo didn't take it very well because if you watch more
Starting point is 00:03:22 clips of that exchange. Chris Cuomo actually tried to push back on Charles and even defend the DSA and say, no, it's not really that bad. No, Chris, it is that bad. When you have Charles Barkley literally saying this, and by the way, how many times do we have to say it? Black voters overwhelmingly reject socialism. It just doesn't click. That's why you never saw black people in abundance protesting against mass deportation. I mean, the black community for everything, that's happened in this country so far and some of the criticisms as they continue to be obsessed with the Democratic Party as far as voting this concern, they don't, they haven't lost all their marbles. And this is just the latest example. So Charles, you get a B for telling the truth to Chris
Starting point is 00:04:07 Cuomo. All right. So education in America continues to nosedive as this latest poll shows the following. Just 31% of U.S. adults now say a college education is very important. That's a record low and a staggering drop from 2013 when 70% held that belief. This Gallup poll conducted in August points to concern over the rising cost of four-year programs as the largest factor behind the decline. Over the past 30 years, the price tag on tuition at both public and private schools has far exceeded general inflation and wage growth, leading more Americans to question if a bachelor's degree provides the return on investment it once did. Researchers at Georgetown University have been working to answer that question. So far, researchers have found that programs predominantly
Starting point is 00:04:55 offering associate degrees and technical certificates delivered a higher net return on investment in the 20 years after enrollment compared to traditional four-year universities. And that's the ballgame, folks. When an associate's degree, a technical certificate, even a trade school, is a better return on investment over the course of 20 years than a four-year degree, what have I said? For-profit universities, it's a failed model if you're talking about making sure that students in America are well-developed for the marketplace. They are prepared for the marketplace. They are educated for the real world. They've absolutely failed. And for a few reasons. I mean, obviously, one, they're now in the business of activism, as you guys are aware.
Starting point is 00:05:43 But also, they're all about making money. They're not about developing of the actual students. So I'm not shocked by this number. I'm going to give Georgetown University an A-plus for running this study because this continues to demonstrate that nobody in their right mind should be getting a student loan unless they're trying to be an attorney, a doctor, or something of that nature. If that's not you, don't even bother. All right, let's go to our Just Take the L segment. This is where we talk about someone who refuses to accept that they are a loser in the situation that they find themselves
Starting point is 00:06:14 and they are denying the reality. and this unfortunately is the Portland Trailblazers, an NBA team who's done the latest unthinkable thing to their brand new broadcaster. Listen to this. And then today, we have this, the Portland Trailblazers, hired and fired in the same day, a broadcaster named Braden Bell.
Starting point is 00:06:36 Now, why? Because they found social media posts from more than a decade ago, when he was 15 years old. He did say some things that don't help you retain or get a job. He said, I'm not racist at all, but I'm not going to lie. Asian people piss me off. He wrote another one where he said, I've got derogatory term for a female,
Starting point is 00:06:58 alert on aisle 10. Not great. Also, 15. I personally think there's nothing more gross than adults standing on the mountain to virtue signal over the misadventures of children and then punishing them decades later, unless we're all going to publish everything we ever wrote. and share everything we ever said when we were teenagers. And now we are into the woke 2.0 generation, ladies and gentlemen,
Starting point is 00:07:25 where corporations are going back to when you were a teenager, finding your old tweets and firing you over whatever you may have said. Here's the kicker in regards to this entire story. This is why the Portland Trailblazers are a bunch of losers in this particular situation, because the reporter, the journalists that blew the whistle on this, also has tweets 10 years ago that sound exactly the same in regards to this now ex broadcaster of the Portland Trailblazers. And then to make matters worse, this individual went on to X.
Starting point is 00:08:00 And I just saw it earlier today and apologize for the comments he made when he was 15. When you have to apologize for being a kid, I think Woke America has lost the plot. And that's why, again, Portland Trailblazers, you guys are a bunch of losers for this. However, don't be a loser like the Portland Trailblazers. When you check out calci.com, which is a prediction market, you could trade on there. If you use $25 of your own money, Calci will give you $25 when you do so. Clearly, midterms is coming up. So it is a particular category you could trade on.
Starting point is 00:08:31 People are trading on James Tyler Rico versus Ken Paxton, Abdul Elsa Head versus Mike Rogers. You can go to culture, sports, crypto, call it whatever you want. bottom line is the prediction markets are something that is accurate because it is following public sentiment and you can make money on it. Go to calci.com 4 slash r4 slash devori or scanning card code you see on the screen to get $25 on your first $25 that you trade. All right, let's go to the Department of Justice continuing to announce some of the most disturbing fraud investigations that are happening in America. And this latest one is no exception. So the Department of Justice announcing some new convictions in their fraud crackdown series of incredible investigations that have unearthed
Starting point is 00:09:17 quite a bed. A husband and wife duo this time stealing more than a million dollars in federal funding that was to go to the elderly and social programs. According to the Department of Justice, they built a ghost company that claimed to provide transportation to senior citizens in need. So take a listen to this stunning detail about the man involved. Watch. Where some see heroes and others see egos. Bloomberg sees the era of billionaire athletes. While others follow the noise, we follow the money. Learn more at Bloomberg.com.
Starting point is 00:09:55 And if it could get any worse, Luis Pino Copete was a guest in our country while ripping off our country. In December 2024, he was given a visa to. come to the United States of America. And then he promptly stole from the United States of America. But according to Democrats, fraud is not an option. And they've been doing a better job than Republicans as it relates to being a good steward of taxpayer money. Guys, this is just, what, countless examples of where the money is truly going in the
Starting point is 00:10:30 pockets of scammers. And when the government decides to finally do their due diligence, there's no shorter to fraudsters out there because the due diligence hasn't happened. happen in some time. I mean, think of the quantity of hospice centers that were shut down. Think of the businesses that were shut down in Minnesota that were not actually real, but receiving millions from the federal government. So DOJ, you continue to get a plus, continue to crack down on the stuff, find every fraudulent dollar you can to recoup back what the taxpayer had to fork out in their hard-earned money. But unfortunately, as we get into
Starting point is 00:11:06 this next one, Chicago Mayor Brennan John. and he believes higher taxes are a good thing. What's the best, most reliable revenue as you work to plug the budget hole? Well, if you look at what I introduced last year, the social media amusement responsibility tax. It's a tax on big tech companies, and these revenues are going directly towards mental and behavior health services. As you know, I reopened three mental health clinics and we've expanded care. And so now when there's a mental health crisis, a paid behavior and mental health crisis professional shows, up instead of a police officer. So that frees up law enforcement to respond to many of the other
Starting point is 00:11:44 challenges that we are experiencing in our city. And that revenue source was so fitting that the state of Illinois followed my lead and they implemented the same one. Same thing with PPLT. This is a tax on, you know, big corporations. We have generated significant revenue from those two sources. So notice what he doesn't tell you. The Chicago public schools is still short by a billion They've had to face layoffs, furloughs, and cuts as that education system continues to deteriorate. Let's not even get into the police department, which is essentially handicapped from cracking down on crime. They don't even have the resources they could have as far as federal is concerned because the mayor doesn't want to play ball there. But hey, we'll raise taxes on corporations, which clearly would obviously either drive them out or reduce the amount of people that they could hire.
Starting point is 00:12:37 But hey, who am I, right? I'm just a guy with common sense, which I think Mayor Brandon Johnson isn't a guy with common sense, given his current approval rating and the disaster job he's done in Chicago. And for that reason, I mean, come on, guys. He definitely deserves an app. All right, let's go to what's your question. This is where you guys can submit questions to the show. And I'll answer them.
Starting point is 00:12:58 Scan the car code. You see at the top left corner of the screen. Today's question comes from John Worsack from Kentucky. His question is a credible one. why do you think that Leader Thune has not been replaced? Well, I think the Republican Party would rather deal with the incompetence than make a radical change, if that makes sense. They'd rather deal with Leader Thune. And when I say they, some of them, they're not going to replace him because they like him.
Starting point is 00:13:27 They work with him. And here's the other brutal truth about it all. Put yourself in the shoes of Congress. Most of these people are either have been elected for the next six. years or the next two years, they're not going anywhere. They're playing a long game here. So whatever beef they may have with the president, whatever problems they may have today, in their mind, they're just trying to get to the end of their term and then get reelected again. I mean, that's kind of my impression. I think there's way more to it. But if I gave you surface
Starting point is 00:13:57 level, that's probably one of the first ideas I would say out loud. John, thank you so much for your question. God bless you. And thank you for that. All right, let's go to our sanity when. this is a positive story, what's happening in America, and it actually comes from our Secretary of War, Pete Hexeth, after he ordered units to do the following. As I've stated before, this is a new and apolitical war department with all the right priorities. Under the leadership of President Trump,
Starting point is 00:14:26 we're upholding things that are central to the defense of our republic and our American way of life. And we're doing this because in the past, voting for our men and women in uniform has been time-consuming and complex as many warriors reside outside of their home state for obvious reasons. They face unnecessary, difficult ways of obtaining, completing, and returning absentee ballots while serving far from home. Now, we're not telling you who to vote for, but we will give you every opportunity to do so. It's then up to you to exercise your right as an American to choose your elected leaders.
Starting point is 00:15:03 voting is the way our founding fathers envisioned every citizen's ability to participate in government. And there it is, ladies and gentlemen, he is literally encouraging our men and women in our armed forces to make sure they get out there and vote. Now, clearly Democrats will, actually, they are losing their mind over this. They believe this is somehow election interference. They also believe the president will attempt to steal the election, and this is just one of the ways to do it. I find it interesting that men and women who are literally defending our country submitting themselves to something bigger than themselves, a bigger purpose, a bigger calling, and something that's honorable, who knew it would be wrong to encourage them to vote? I mean, remember, this is your country too. You, the person watching right now, I'm talking to you, this is your country. You should be voting. You should be voting locally. You should be voting nationally. You should be engaged or participate in some way, shape, or fashion. You should be. part of the solution and when you're serving in the armed forces, that is no exception. So A plus to the Secretary of War, Pete Hexette. Okay, let's go to one more thing. This is where I talk about
Starting point is 00:16:09 a particular story, a fact, or something I really need to bring to your guys' attention. And this one, again, is a stunner. A Houston mother murdered her four-year-old daughter yesterday, shot her in the head, then turned the gun on herself and committed suicide. After losing custody to her ex-husband or the daughter would ultimately get, or the ex-husband would get full custody of the daughter. And the judge and the attorneys didn't think something like this would happen. Now, the details of her history have not been disclosed publicly, but here's what we do know, based on recent history in America.
Starting point is 00:16:50 You guys know that feeling when you buy a new car? Let's say your car is a red Honda Civic. And before you bought it, you were like, I don't actually see red Honda Civics on the road. Now that you have a Red Honda Civic on the road, now you see a bunch of Red Honda Civics. That's what I think is happening right now with the media. Because of the Lindsay Clancy case, now any story that resembles that gets picked up and becomes news. And now what's happening is highlighting a serious issue with women in America. Remember, women are more unhappier than they've ever been.
Starting point is 00:17:25 They're on more antidepressants than they've ever been. There needs to be a coming to Jesus moment for women in America. Someone's got to step up for them and get them to realize that killing their kids is not the solution.
