Who would have thought that a Somalian
deputy who works for the Ramsey County Sheriff's Office out of Minneapolis, Minnesota, is turning on
his own community. He's calling out the gang violence that's on the rise. This is clearly blindsiding
the governor. Let's take a look. After a violent holiday weekend, we have the Ramsey County Sheriff
who says something has to be done about Somali gangs in the metro. Sheriff Bob Fletcher says
the first step is calling out the problem and then trying to get a grip on it. Our Karen and Scullin explains
more on the violence and what's being done about it.
The Ramsey County Sheriff says this is not an effort to target the Somali community,
but rather save young boys within the community that are choosing a gang life that is becoming
increasingly dangerous. A number of shootings and a homicide over the 4th of July weekend
involving Somali gangs. On Wilson Street in Minneapolis, the Ramsey County Sheriff's Office
says a Wilmer soccer coach was killed as part of Somali gang violence, but the problem didn't start
fair. Yeah, so this is definitely blindsiding Tim Walls because he's too busy, obviously,
blaming the president for everything that's wrong with the state of Minnesota. But Tom Emmert
hit it right on the nail. Sheriff Fletcher said out loud what many of our so-called leaders in
Minnesota are too afraid to admit Somali gang violence is rising in Minnesota. We know Somali
fraud is out of this world in Minnesota, so you might as well attack on gang violence as well,
right? I mean, it only makes sense. This last weekend, we were at the
Juice time in Arden Hills. There was 300 young Somali kids there. And some of them were gangsters.
And we had a number of us law enforcement officers there that curtailed their activity. But two
hours later, they were shooting someone over in northeast Minneapolis. Same group.
So notice what you're seeing. The sheriff is recording a video from his office. You got some
people who look like they're from the Somalia community. You have a deputy who looks like he's
Somalian, and they're creating this video and posting it publicly. That's how bad it is,
that they're willing to go against their own community, essentially, to call this violence out.
And hats all to them. This is what we should expect in all communities across the country
if people would only have the courage. So shout out to the sheriff here. But this story gets
even darker. Fletcher and his investigators say Somali gang violence is growing fast and spans the
Metro with 12 Somali gangs from Minneapolis and St. Paul to St. Cloud to Apple Valley and Burnsville.
Ramsey County tracking the violence within the Somali community. The majority of it is gun violence.
Yes, we had an incident over the weekend in Minneapolis where an innocent young man from
Warbury was shot and he's in the hospital right now fighting for his life and is costing a lot of
problem for the community. See, this goes back to what we always talk about,
parenting, the nuclear family, what is the atmosphere, environment, culture of the home? And then
once you leave the home, what is the culture of the neighborhood and community? And when you see
activity like this get out of hand, it's an indictment on all those things, essentially. Like,
for example, a young kid doesn't have time to hit the streets 1 a.m. in the morning, if he's in a
stable home, he's got a good father, right? He's focused on things that matter. And, and,
And part of the reason I think this happens as well is because social media is raising these kids, not the actual parents.
You are a rookie on the drill.
You a rookie on the drill.
The gang battles are fueled by social media, like this viral video taken outside the St. Paul River Center in May that ended with people shot and in jail.
We losing kids getting killed every day, right?
We have kids that are getting into the system early, early, right?
So we have kids who were carrying guns, right?
And the parents are not aware of it.
Parents don't know, right?
That's the issue that we've seen lately, right?
So that's why we're here.
Here we go.
Someone's already claiming this is our year.
Someone else said that last year too.
A round of Jameson, ginger and lime arrives at the table.
Smooth enough for kickoff, smooth enough for extra time.
New friends pulling up a stool.
Debates about whether that was a handball.
Cheers rising like a roar around the room.
Because match days are about the shared moments.
How did Jameson to your match day lineup?
Jameson, it's what you bring.
Please enjoy our products responsibly.
Now, on July 21st, there will be a meeting here at the patrol station in Arden Hills.
It's for the Somali community, for families, for parents, for young people to learn more about the problem and how they can help.
Well, the best way to help these kids is for them to have some role models in their life,
particularly their parents, to do what they're supposed to be doing.
And if that fails, then we've been.
got to have a community that surrounds them with the right leadership. And I know that's a
wishful thinking in a sense because there was a time in our society where that was priority number
one. It doesn't seem like that is, you know, in some communities, I would say, a priority any longer.
I think people have forgotten how to lead and really mentor younger adults. And that's just
unfortunate. But hey, in order to start finding a solution, you at least got to call out the
problem and that's exactly what happened there. And of course, the governor. And this is, just so you
guys are clear, this is in Minneapolis, to my understanding. Ramsey's County is Minneapolis, right?
So, I mean, I don't think Jacob Frey is interested in cracking down on this. He's interested in
ensuring that his political connections with the Somalian community is not negatively impacted.
Let's go to our other story. Now this is, all right, now let's get to some breaking news regarding
more fraud in America. We're circling back on Chicago because it has everything.
to do with them and their school system. They're calling this fraud ghost students.
The Trump administration is going after what are called ghost student scams. Those involve people
fraudulently obtaining federal financial aid. Correspondent David Spunt reports on the education
department's war on fraud. Stopping fraud in the American higher education system front and center
today in Washington. Officials highlighting a growing problem, so-called ghost students, people who
enroll only to steal financial aid with no intention of earning a degree.
There are huge farms of these people that have organized and like you said on the dark web,
there are marketplaces, unfortunately, where they're focused on, hey, this is how to go
commit student aid fraud.
So let's pause for a second here.
This is the problem once again with education in America.
So not only are they already ripping off the students that do go to college, but now you have
people ripping off the system and they're not even going to college.
I mean, this is insanity.
And by the way, this is another example where the Trump administration should get credit for cracking down on.
I mean, this is what any DOJ FBI should be focused on, by the way, because this is craziness.
And the other thing is this is going to get worse because AI is a part of this.
Artificial intelligence is only accelerating the schemes by making them harder to detect.
Last year, the Trump administration uncovered more than $40 million, dispersing.
to companies using bots disguised as fake students.
Education leaders promised they're working to stop the fraud,
but Education Secretary Linda McMahon says more work needs to be done.
The free application for federal student aid, FAFSA, is undergoing new scrutiny.
Education Department officials say they prevented $1 billion in student aid fraud in 2025.
By the end of this calendar year, we would have saved about $2 billion.
Okay, a couple of things.
Number one, I could argue that the student loan is the real scam here as far as what they sold millennials on and Gen X, according to education. If you get a student loan, you're going to be able to get a good job. I would say that's probably one of the biggest scams in the education system overall. And number two, you know, it's no shocker. AI and technology has been able to find loopholes. It just goes to show, just because you guys heard that number in the end, $2 billion they're able to save.
And so this is what happens when you have an administration who's focused on cracking down on fraud.
Now, is $2 billion going to make a difference in the deficit that we have?
No.
The scammers are enrolling in colleges under a fake identity, applying for financial aid,
and then vanishing with the leftover cash after their tuition is paid.
And it's costing some states millions of dollars.
In Minnesota, for example, they've identified nearly 8,000 suspected go students between 2024 and 2024.
2025, potentially costing taxpayers over $12 million.
And these ghost students are having a real-life impact on actual students.
As you guys already know, America only turns 250 once.

Quote, listen to this.
In one online class that had 50 spots as soon as it opened up, within two minutes,
all of the spots were taken.
So this professor thought he had this really hot class that he was going to be opening,
and it turns out that only two of the students who enrolled in the class were real.
The rest, all fake.
Same story in California.
In 2024, nearly a quarter of applications for colleges were fraudulent.
A quarter costing taxpayers $13 million in state and federal.
You see, when the president promised to dismantle the Department of Education,
that statement obviously is provocative, right?
I mean, you either support it or you're turned off by it.
But if you look past the statement and you do a little research and you start looking at the numbers as far as performance, as far as the workforce, as far as the funding, you start asking some serious questions like, what the hell happened to the Department of Education?
Particularly in some of these states, whether it is California or Minnesota or in a city like Chicago where half the schools are not even to.
their correct capacity. There are some schools they don't even have any students. How are you a school
and you don't have any students? Illinois and in Chicago, they basically said, hold my beer.
We're not just doing go students. We're doing go schools. They have over half of their schools
basically are under capacity and 145 of their schools in Chicago are over 50% empty. 24 of them are
over 75% empty. And so you go in places like Chicago, they have no students there, but
But they have adults. Think about it. In Douglas Academy High School in Chicago, they have not a single
kid, proficient in math or reading. And they have 27 students, but they have 28 adults.
So then it begs the question, DeVore, what's really the driver behind all this? Well, it's all
about the money. That's exactly what the driver is. And how it happens is we increase the workforce,
right? We hire more teachers, more educators, more experts, more consultants. But we never actually
increase the performance of what we're offering here. So what happens? Over decades on in,
the Department of Education down even to the state level has grown dramatically, but the test
scores have dropped dramatically. I mean, it's almost an opposite effect, and that's one of the
lessons from Thomas Solwell. There's a difference between intentions and outcomes, and one
could argue these intentions are not adding up to the correct outcomes. The government school system
has become more of a jobs program for adults than an education initiative for kids. This
school spending about $100,000 per student per year and taxpayer money. And you'd think they'd be
knocking it out of the park academically, but they're not. And this is not an outlier in places like Chicago,
these Democrat-run cities, which are controlled by the teachers unions. There's so many of these
empty schools. So it's just crazy. You say it's go students, but we have go schools in some places.
And I'd say, well, why not take a fraction of that money, even 20,000 of the 100, give it to students
for school choice and let the families decide where their kids go. And then you'd have competition,
the public schools do a better job. The problem is in places like Chicago since 2019, they've lost
about 35,000 students since then, about a 10% decrease. But what did they do with all their
wisdom? They increase staffing by 20%. So more employees, fewer kids. And this is a nationwide
trend as well. It's not just Chicago. That's why some parents today, including ourselves,
homeschooling is at the top of the list.
I mean, I think there are more people being homeschooled today than probably in the past,
what, 50 years, I think that's fair to say.
And for good reason, I think the true educators in America starts with parenting.
That's where it starts, and I believe that's where it ends.
Now, you know, the teachers we have in these classrooms, they definitely serve a purpose.
And some of them are, I would argue, angels, sort of speak, and really play a huge role
in the development of the kid.
But I don't think we should be depending on the,
chance that there's an actual teacher like that at a public school. It just isn't going to happen
today. I think that is the wrong bet to make. All right, let's move on to our next segment here.
This is the sanity report where I react to clips that are going viral on social media in regards
to American culture and I grade them. Starting with this first clip, which is about the National
Guard, which is still deployed in Memphis, Tennessee. This is in regards to how the president
was able to work with a city like Memphis to crack down on crime,
and we get to finally see a clip that shows how effective it really is.
So they're all fighting, and here they come.
There he is.
Yeah, sad behavior, to say the least.
But shout out to the National Guard.
They get an A-plus for this.
I love this.
Let me go back, where he's telling him,
I'm going to spray you if you don't stop.
Right there, right?
Hold on back up.
There it is.
Right there.
And he's like,
oh, yeah,
I don't want to get sprayed.
But see,
this is the love part of it.
I love when we get to use our men and women
to apply law and order in our streets.
Use them for that.
I see no issues with that.
Now,
the hate part is,
once again,
people of color,
black culture doing what they do best,
which is making a full of themselves.
But everybody knows that this is not right.
They, even they know what they're doing is wrong.
But when you are conditioned to behave stupid and ignorant, you're going to do it.
So shout out to the National Guard.
They get a day.
Black culture gets an F.
All right, let's go to this woman.
Savannah, she's amazing.
I love her interviews because it's another example of how stupid people are, in my opinion.
Here she is asking a woman about the gay rights that are being lost in this country.
This is kind of similar to what I talked about with Alicia Keys.
They get in front of cameras and they make up this claim that rights are being taken away.
But when you confront them over that and ask them a very simple question, give me that right exactly.
They can't.
Your gay friends and family have lost any rights under the current administration.
Are you really asking me that question?
Yes, because I had one person say yes.
and I had another gay person say no.
So I'm trying to understand what you feel.
I feel like there's a lot out right now
that you can personally research
to answer your own question.
Because I feel like you know the answer to the question,
but you're just trying to get a reaction out of us.
And I'm sorry, I'm not going to give you that reaction.
We're not here with these types of dumb-ass things, okay?
I know you.
When you walked up to us, I know who you are.
And I was waiting to see what she was going to access,
and you're doing exactly what I expected you.
acts, ask. Come on, man.
I ask you a simple question and you're getting upset about that.
You have a blessed day, okay? We're going to enjoy our pride day.
You want to support Trump, you want to have lack of a brain cell. You do that, okay?
Don't come up to us with no bullshit.
I would say the lack of brain sales is how you reacted. I mean, you simply could have been like,
I don't want to answer your questions. Goodbye and just walked off.
But, you know, they want to get spicy and emotional about it because they can't answer simple questions.
Kind of do what I want. We're in a free space.
You can not come up to me.
If I'm telling you to go away from me, that means get away from me.
Now you're in a public space.
Okay, and you came up to me with this bullshit.
I have the First Amendment right to do that.
And I have the First Amendment right to tell you you a dumb, stupid-ass fucking big.
Yes, you do.
What is this big motherfucker I'm going to do?
I told you.
What is this big motherfuck of going to do?
Bitch, are you slow?
Look, you know what?
It's okay, because she obviously lacked comprehensive.
I'm obviously to have a great day.
If she lacks comprehension, you can't even say the English language properly.
It was a simple question, man.
If you don't know the answer, move on.
It's not a bad thing.
Well, that lady, again, black culture gets an F.
I mean, what are you wearing?
What's going on with your hair?
Why do you speak that way?
Why do you behave that way?
Do you have any class?
And what's interesting is not all black people behave this way.
The ones that do are ones that clearly grow up in the ghetto
are around people who talk like that.
And so they think that is the best way
to present themselves to society.
It's not.
Let's go to one more clip.
This is the Minnesota Attorney General.
And this is, again, the latest effort.
Let me kind of give you the context on this.
So Democrat Socialists of America, right?
what are politicians who are supporting that?
What are they doing to ensure that their constituents get on,
that they ensure that their constituents are getting on board with all of this?
The way that they do it is by changing their messaging.
The way they're changing their messaging is taking something that people already experience
and telling people what your experience already is because of socialism.
When I say experiencing, I'm talking about social services, essential services,
like law enforcement, fire department, you know, transportation, all.
They say that's socialism. So that's essentially what he's doing here.
You know, there are elements of socialism that are part of our system today, including Medicare and Social Security.
How about policing?
You call the cops. Guess who pays them? Your tax dollars. Guess what that is? That's socialism, pal. Sorry.
In Toronto, every arrival is a statement. And nothing says it better than this.

That's not socialism.
That's not socialism.
Where is he getting that from?
I'm not understanding how that is socialism.
Do you guys know how that is?
Because I don't.
I'm ignorant on that.
I didn't know our local law enforcement,
our local police department, is socialism.
I think another way to put it is
do the people of that city own the police department?
Yes or no?
They don't.
Do the people of that city,
Do they control the police department?
No, they don't.
Do the people who live in that city, do they get a financial benefit from the pensions or fund of the police department?
No, they don't.
Are the people in that city training the police department?
No, they don't.
Okay, I'll leave it long.
Let's say here, Keith Ellison gets an F in understanding how a mark.
