Also, a special needs kid walked out of school for an anti-ice protest and was abandoned.
Starting point is 00:00:42 And finally, Governor Westmore is facing another scandal. Before we get to all these stories, please like this video, share this video, leave your thoughts in the comments section below. And please do not forget to subscribe to our channel. Let's start exactly with what the president had to say. Take a listen. Several of Republicans in Congress have supported this. decision by the Supreme Court. And Hakeem Jeffreys, the Democratic leader, has closed to a will want to be king. Why wouldn't, he doesn't even know, and I watched him the other day
Starting point is 00:01:11 interview, the guy doesn't even know what a tariff is. But there's been bipartisan criticism. No, not bipartisan. Excuse me. There's several Republicans have said that. Yeah. Well, why wouldn't you just work with Congress to come up with a plan? I don't have to push tariffs. I have the right to do tariffs. And I've always had the right to do tariffs. And it's all been approved by Congress. So there's no reason to do it. All we're doing. All we're is we're going through a little bit more complicated process, not complicated very much, but a little more complicated than what we had.
Starting point is 00:01:37 We'll be able to take in tariffs, more tariffs. And the Congress people, and the Congress... The House just 40 down the Canadian tariffs last week. There's been votes in the Senate against it. Yeah, because we lost two Republicans or three Republicans because they're not good Republicans. What you don't say, see, you don't say that we had, that we got 215 votes to do.
Starting point is 00:01:56 You need 218 for something to pass. No, sure we do. We might have lost... three votes. And what was the score on the Republican side? Two, 15 to three, right? But you don't say that. We have great unity. There's great unity in the Republican Party. And I hope everyone's going to vote Republican, because otherwise you won't have a country left, because these people have been destroying, they are destroying our country. So now that we had some time to actually look at this ruling more in depth, allow me to give you the objective truth here. This is a procedural authority ruling,
Starting point is 00:02:27 not an economic judgment from the Supreme Court. They're basing their decision on the meaning, and I'll read it to you here, regulate and importation. Now, it doesn't matter if you don't know what those means. The bottom line is this. I-E-E-P-A, which is the statute that the president used to impose at least half of these tariffs. According to the Supreme Court, the language for that statute does not include the word tariffs. So according to their interpretation, six of them, he doesn't have the authority to impose tariffs. Now, one could argue just because it doesn't say tariffs, at the same times it doesn't say he can't use tariffs.
Starting point is 00:03:07 So again, it's up to interpretation. I would argue this ruling is a total contradiction of the Supreme Court, especially if you're looking at the ruling regarding Obamacare or the ruling regarding vaccine mandates. So that's, I would say, interesting irony, if that makes sense. Okay, we'll get more into it. But I want to go to a couple more questions that the president took. Take a listen to. Are you going to ask Congress to take additional action on tariffs now? I don't need to.
Starting point is 00:03:33 It's already been approved. I mean, I would ask Congress and probably get it. When people look at the real numbers and you look at hundreds of billions of dollars that have come into our country, yesterday I was at a steel plant, as you know, and went to a great place, great plant, great wonderful people. And they were telling me, I said to him, you were there, a lot of the press in this room. Of course, I don't think the plane's big enough to take the press in this room. But a lot of the press right here, we're in Georgia. And I said to the owner, I made a speech at a factory.
Starting point is 00:04:10 They made steel products. And I said, how are you? Nice to meet you. How's business? President, I'd love to kiss you. This is a very powerful man. I don't want to be kissed by that man. Now, if I can make this as simple as possible, the best summary of what the bottom line is,
Starting point is 00:04:28 they actually made it easy for the president to figure out how to implement tariffs based on existing law. They actually had it in the ruling itself, where they said this is the statute that you can use here, here's the law that you can use there, and so all it really is going to do is reinforce what the administration is going to continue to do, which is imposed tariffs. That tariffs are not going away, just so we're all clear. they're just going to use a different law to justify them. That's why today the president already announced a new executive order imposing a global 10% terror. I'll let Scott Besson explain all of that, but I just want to make something clear.
Starting point is 00:05:03 The Supreme Court did not rule that the president does not have the authority to issue tariffs. They ruled he used the wrong statute to impose tariffs. There's a difference there. Now, if you're listening to Democrat media, they would tell you that he is breaking the law, which is not actually a factual statement. Let's go to Scott Besson. Here's what he said. I've listened to you speak so far today and the president
Starting point is 00:05:26 that you will immediately institute these tariffs, continue these tariffs through different mechanisms. You can, through, I believe, it's Section 122, immediately extend these tariffs for five months. And in the meantime, then launch investigations to extend these tariffs further under other sections of these trade acts. Exactly. And the durability of the Section 232, Section 301s,
Starting point is 00:05:49 which are already in effect, and the Commerce and USTR will launch additional investigations into additional deficiencies. Those will take 30, 60, 90 days, but within three days, the president can put on the section 122, 10% global tariffs. So at Treasury, for the four-year 2026, we foresee no decrease in revenue,
Starting point is 00:06:17 but again, it's this, the instantaneous power that the president has. But now that he's going to have to, if he wants to negotiate with these countries, he does have the right to say, I can embargo all your product. We just can't collect one dollar from the embargo. Yeah. And that's why we believe that the president has outmaneuvered the Supreme Court. I assume that they assume that this was going to happen. I mean, you have people obsessing over this law. And many laws to impose terrorists for almost a year now. So they had to have known that this was a scenario and have already planned for it.
Starting point is 00:06:56 That's why you hear Scott Bessing confirming exactly what the president said, which is they're going to impose a global 10% tariff. And the interesting part about this, when you have CNN agreeing that the president has the authority to impose tariffs and that this ruling really isn't going to stop anything, I think that nukes everything that Democrats want us to believe. Hear it for yourself. Beyond whether or not you. will get a refund because of today's U.S. Supreme Court ruling.
Starting point is 00:07:22 There are questions about the new 10% tariffs that President Trump announced he's going to impose today. CNN's Vanessa, Your Kavits is here. Vanessa, give us the reality check. Can President Trump impose these new tariffs? Yes, yes, he can, Jake. And a new tariff you're hearing about today is that 10% global tariff under something called Section 122. This tariff measure does allow, actually, for a tariff to reach up to 15%. But the president setting that global tariff at 10%.
Starting point is 00:07:51 The thing is, Jake, this tariff is only in effect for 150 days. It would take congressional approval to extend the length of time that this tariff is in place. Something the president hinted, he wants to keep in place for a lot longer than those 150 days. We also heard the president talk about increasing tariffs in other areas, something called Section 232. These are tariffs that can be put in place. the government believes there are national security concerns. These are investigations that usually take months to happen before the tariff goes into effect. So there are actually tariffs in effect right now under Section 232, 50% tariffs on steel and aluminum, and also 25% tariffs
Starting point is 00:08:38 in effect on cars and car park. The president. Okay, so number one, this confirms that they already knew this was going to happen. This is not actually a loss for the president. They will have to do a little bit more tedious work, but they're going to continue the tariffs. Number two, do these tariffs or this new 10% global tariff that the president is imposing? Will that negatively impact anybody? No, because technically it actually makes some tariffs come down because of the ruling. So overall, this is not what Democrats really want it to be, but they're banking on the fact that people are not going to do their research and educate themselves. Let's go back to the president. Here's what he had to say about the justices that actually ruled in his favor. Take a listen.
Starting point is 00:09:20 I'd like to thank and congratulate justices Thomas, Alito, and Kavanaugh, for their strength and wisdom and love of our country, which is right now very proud of those justices. When you read the dissenting opinions, there's no way that anyone can argue against them. There's no way. foreign countries that have been ripping us off for years are ecstatic. They're so happy. And they're dancing in the streets, but they won't be dancing for long. That I can assure you.
Starting point is 00:09:57 Yeah. And so the bottom line of what he was hinting at there is the fact that the language doesn't say he can impose tariffs. And it also doesn't say that he can't. So in a scenario like that, it is up to interpretation, essentially. So I just want to make sure we are clear on that. All right. Let's go to our next update. This is just another blow to Democrats, in my opinion.
Starting point is 00:10:20 When you're talking about their defense of illegal immigration and the ice walkouts that are happening at school, this is the other side of the story that they don't want people to hear about. This special needs kid was abandoned at school because the educators and the kids walked out and left them behind. Listen to it for yourself. This afternoon, a mother says she just wants to answer. after her special needs son is found wandering miles away from his school when he was supposed to be in class. I don't feel safe. I'm just scared to go back. Like, there's something that could happen that same day again. 11-year-old Richard Harley says he doesn't want to go back to class after he was found wandering, scared and alone, miles away from school grounds, following a student-led walkout protesting ICE.
Starting point is 00:11:06 They're supposed to stay on 72, like by the school, but they did the exact, they did the exact, opposite it went just way more farther and no one even knew like how far they were going so you kind of got I was like I was like the last one so I was like all alone the incident happened Tuesday morning at Dundee middle school in the far northwest suburb where the sixth grader is a student what's going on his mother says she was not notified about the walkout and because her son has special needs and an individualized education program, or IEP, takes issue with him being allowed to leave campus without supervision or parental authorization. And I know exactly what the problem is for these schools and educators.
Starting point is 00:11:53 On one hand, they claim that they care about the safety of your children, right? The safety of your children is our number one concern. But then they allow them to walk out. Sometimes it's not even an organized fashion. Sometimes the police are not involved. We already heard of one student being ran over. Luckily, she survived. Now you hear of this kid being left abandoned.
Starting point is 00:12:15 I mean, what's next exactly? One of them being killed? I'm sure if that was to happen, you know who they're going to blame, right? They're going to blame ICE. You just cannot make this up. The school is not a bedrock for political discourse and protesting. It is a bedrock to educate and develop our students. People really have to stand up to this nonsense.
Starting point is 00:12:36 Let's continue. Why didn't I get, you know, a notification that he was tardy, well, or absent for that matter. Why didn't they even bother calling in? Blaisdell says her son didn't understand what the walkout was about and merely went along with the other students when they went outside. She says the protest turned dangerous for Richard when he couldn't keep up with the other kids who were marching along Main Street and Route 72 Higgins Road. Blaisdale said her son called her in a panic. He said, you just need to come pick me up. I don't know what's going on.
Starting point is 00:13:10 I'm very scared. The 34-year-old mother of three says she called police but was able to locate her son through his cell phone about 10 minutes later near the busy intersection of 72 and Randall Road. It's not right because my kid, again, is supposed to be safe, you know, in school. Now, the full picture here is if I'm her, he wouldn't be in public school, okay? I understand that there may be some special attention he needs, but I like to believe there are alternative resources for that. I really do. Again, I don't think public school is what it used to be,
Starting point is 00:13:46 so I'm biased on this matter. So I guess the question is, what do Democrats think of this stuff? Are they even talking about it, or are they still obsessing over their attempts to abolish ICE? Well, one way or another, they're still continuing to be pressed on that particular question. And here is Hakeem Jeffries losing his mind when he's confronted over that.
Starting point is 00:14:06 Take a listen. Do you think there should be sanctuary cities in the first place leader, Jeffers, is that? And does federal law, you can at least see that does set up an inherent conflict that unfortunately has ended in these tragic events? Some people might even say that it was inevitable. and the protesters, they are trained a lot of the protesters. And to almost... The protesters, the protesters have been peaceful and patriotic. Not always.
Starting point is 00:14:44 And no one is arguing otherwise. No one is arguing otherwise. And, you know, the administration hasn't even tried to blame those peaceful protesters exercising their First Amendment rights, freedom of assembly, freedom of expression, right to petition the government to change policy. That's part of the DNA, the constitutional fabric of America. And you have these brutal ICE agents who are violently targeting people. See, when you hear that particular rhetoric from Hakeem Jeffries,
Starting point is 00:15:14 you see why kids are walking out of school. It trickles down. See, this is why I'm so grateful to be doing this show. And I really appreciate that you tune in. If you're still watching at this point, I am very grateful of that because I understand that the, entertainment industry, Hollywood, academia, and mainstream media, they're not giving people the full picture. They're only telling them one side and one particular narrative, which is essentially
Starting point is 00:15:40 based on anti-Trump. It's not showing people the other side of illegal immigration, the other side of Sanctuary City policies, the other side of this type of rhetoric. So hopefully you find this valuable. Now, let's go one step further when we're talking about rhetoric. Listen to this. And I think ultimately we have to come back to the reality is that these agents, and I think Simon, you talked about this before, they're not really rogue. The Department of Homeland Security was created and built to violate our rights and has been empowered to act with impunity in the way it was formed after 9-11. She says the correct words in the wrong order with the wrong meanings. If you want to argue what happened after 9-11 is really the fall of our society, that's one thing.
Starting point is 00:16:27 I'm listening on that point because one could argue the birth of the agencies due to 9-11 have actually infringed upon our rights in so many different ways. It's not even funny. But that's not what she's arguing. She's arguing that DHS in particular are in the business of targeting black and brown people and are targeting American citizens and killing them in cold blood. That's the rhetoric that I'm referring to. We know that's really hyperbole and it's dangerous rhetoric, especially for younger children
Starting point is 00:16:55 who can't even think for themselves that they're not. this point, but this is what they're experiencing through repetition every single day. So of course they're going to believe it. They had no other counterpoints. All right, so we can go to our next update. Governor Westmore is in hot water once again. He issued an executive order banning ICE from operating in his state. Okay, I think we all are used to that.
Starting point is 00:17:15 But here's the difference. The local sheriffs, they're pushing back on this. Listen to this. The Carroll County Sheriff told us that he just created and signed a new policy for his department, making it clear that his deputy. will still communicate with ICE and laying out exactly what that communication will look like. It says that in Maryland we defend constitutional rights and we defend constitutional policing. Here on Wednesday the sheriff sat down to talk next steps and decided it won't be a court battle.
Starting point is 00:17:46 It's not formal even if the MOUs are banned, we go forward with our federal partners in immigration and customs enforcement doing the will of not just public safety but also show the will of the Maryland people. Okay, so continuing the theme that I have set up here for you guys in this video, which is showing you both sides to it. On one hand, people believe in Sanctuary City policies. There should be no cooperation with federal authorities regarding immigration enforcement. On the other hand, you have actual law enforcement, particularly sheriffs,
Starting point is 00:18:17 and the police department who actually say, hey, wait a minute, that's a dangerous move. You're putting people out at risk because when you go down this road, that means if we were to arrest a criminal legal alien, we have no choice but to release them back into the community. I thought public safety was party number one. So that's their stance on it, which led to this shrunk statement from the sheriff to the governor. Take a listen. The abolishment of the 287G program is not the abolishment of ICE. They're going nowhere.
Starting point is 00:18:46 In fact, they're going to intensify their effort. We warn them this was going to happen and it's going to happen. A warning on Wednesday issued vice. by sheriffs from the nine Maryland counties forced to end active partnerships with ICE under a new state law. It's the biggest betrayal to law enforcement and public safety that I have ever seen. I'm in total agreement with them. I don't think this should be a partisan issue. I think this is a public safety issue.
Starting point is 00:19:15 It seems like it makes sense to me. I'm sure it does for you. If I arrest someone who's been accused of a crime, there's evidence that they committed a crime at probable cause, and they're in the country illegally, why would I waste my time with them? Let me go ahead and let the federal authorities handle it. I got better things to do, like my local community. You would think that's what law enforcement would want to do, but they're handicapped by these dangerous politicians who believe in sanctuary cities.
Starting point is 00:19:42 Okay, let's go another step further here. Because in Detroit, they not only ban ICE from cooperating with local authorities, but they're now arresting local authorities if they do collaborate with us. eyes. Listen to this story. Well, Rup earlier this week, you might remember Detroit Police Chief Todd Bettison. He called for the firing of both a sergeant and an officer for calling border patrol during two separate traffic stops the last couple of months. And we did just learn tonight that both the sergeant and officer have been suspended without pay for 30 days. If Todd Bettison made the ask this week and the police board of commissioners voted to suspend
Starting point is 00:20:20 Sergeant Denise Wallet without pay for 30 days. The same fate for an officer. In Sergeant Wallet's case, she was called to the scene to handle a language barrier with a person in question. Then, according to Besson, she called Border Patrol for translation help. Border Patrol responded and detained the person. It says right here in DPD's policy, you can't do that. This is why I'm telling you, local elections matter.
Starting point is 00:20:45 Local elections matter for things like this. Now, whether she called Border Patrol because she really wanted to see this person deported or she really needed translation services, I don't really think matters. I think the fact that they can't even call Border Patrol or ICE is a problem in and of itself. I go back to my previous point. Why would the local police spend any time with people who can't prove their legal status in this country? Let Border Patrol or ICE deal with that. Makes total sense to me.
Starting point is 00:21:16 not if you're a Democrat who believes in sanctuary cities because you're not looking at the differences between American citizen and an illegal alien. You think there's no difference, actually. Okay. Listen, I'm not exaggerating here. So the federal government is gearing up for a lawsuit. Take a listen.
Starting point is 00:21:33 At Medcan, we know that life's greatest moments are built on a foundation of good health from the big milestones to the quiet winds. A federal lawsuit against DPD is in the works, claiming the sergeant's due process was violated and her union will undoubtedly fight it too. But if you just look at that policy violation alone, I don't see an arbitrator in the state of Michigan that would uphold a termination.
Starting point is 00:22:20 So that's a bit performative and I think it's disingenuous. And I don't think that's the chief's intent. So let's get your guys' thoughts in the comments section below to these stories, starting with the president and the Supreme Court ruling. You already have to have been aware of it by now. So I wanted to show you his response and that he had already outmaneuvered this ruling by going ahead and issuing a global typist and terror. So they're not slowing down.
Starting point is 00:22:43 Also, what do you make of Governor Restmore being contradicted by his local sheriffs? They want to protect the safety of their communities, but it doesn't seem like the governor wants to do that. Just give me your thoughts and everything you got in the comment section below. All right, let's go to our next story, which involves the Olympics. History was made, but also a woke athlete was exposed. She came in at 13th place, and the person who won gold is someone who did not deliver any woke statements. I think you guys will find that dynamic, very. interesting and entertaining.
