In case you guys missed it, President Trump just went off on Leader Thune for his unwillingness
to pass the Save America Act.
Also, Zora Mondani, he is facing backlash for essentially doxing wealthy individuals
in regards to the second home tax.
We'll also get to our sanity report, which I know you guys enjoy and all of that stuff.
But first, let's start with the president and what he said.
Take a listen.
Leader Thune, he, what's your reaction to him saying that there's no evident path to success
on killing the filibuster or passing the Safe America Act?
Well, that's too bad for him.
I mean, that's too bad for him and too bad for the Republican Party.
Do you believe that?
He's got the votes.
He should get it done.
He should be able to get it.
Mr. President.
And do you think Senate Majority Leader Chown, Thune, after the comments, he
her regarding state Americans and other stuff.
Do you think he's still a man for the job?
Well, we're going to find out, and I'll let you know.
So that was the president in the Oval Office calling out John Thune.
Once again, I mean, this is day three of him continuing to go after him for his
unwillingness to pass the Save America Act.
We're at a point today where all they need is 50 votes.
We're past needing 60 votes.
We only need 50.
And so it begs to question what has Leader Thune been up to lately.
I think he's been making way.
too many excuses. And here he is again, today with his latest one. Listen to this. I'm for
anything that we can do to get the Save America Act passed. What I always ask, the question I
always ask is, what is your picture of victory at the end? What is the end game here? And if,
in fact, staying here for the month of August means that we assume at some point there are going to be
10 Democrats who cross over and vote for the Save America Act, I think we can stay here until
Christmas. That's not going to happen. That's exactly what should happen.
I mean, this is the only organization to my understanding that takes recesses that lasts for months, essentially.
I don't think they deserve an August recess based on their latest performance, in my personal opinion.
But anyways, here's more what the president had to say about all of it.
I'm trying to see are without the Save America Afghanistan.
That's something you want to see.
I'll have to look at it, but they should get the Save America.
How simple can it be voter identification, proof of citizenship?
I mean, now you have to understand the Democrats.
Not one Democrat will sign because they want to cheat.
There's no way they can get elected if they don't, if that happens.
But we should have unanimous Republican support.
And if we don't, people should look at those Republicans.
So on that point from the president, here is a list of Republican senators
who are standing together to demand that they stay in D.C.
to get the Same America Act passed, meaning they would forego the,
August recess. We got Mike Lee, Rick Scott, Tommy, Terpoville, Jim Banks, Ashley Moody,
Darling, Graham, Bill Haggerty, Katie Britt, Todd Young, Marsha Blackburn, Eric Schmidt, and Dave
McCormick. Good list so far, but obviously not enough. So we'll see what happens. And while
this is all playing out, here is what the Democrats are saying, particularly Hakeem Jeffries.
Republicans have apparently concluded, led by Donald Trump,
that their best course of action as it relates to the upcoming midterm election is to suppress the vote,
intimidate voters, and do all they can to potentially rig the outcome.
Why they launched an unprecedented gerrymandering effort in the middle of the decade.
Okay, so, all right, those talking points are nothing new.
I think the bottom line is very clear for me personally.
Why would a political party be so scared to hand over their voter rolls?
why are they so scared to require voter ID?
Why are they so scared to make sure that people are citizens when they are registering to vote?
It seems to me that if those things came to pass, they may not win an election for a very long time.
I think it is fair to probably conclude that.
All right, our next story is a big one coming out of New York City.
Zara Mondani is facing backlash.
And, guys, this is huge.
On one hand, this second home tax that he's implemented is already backfiring on him.
Then his team made a mistake by doxying wealthy people.
This is insanity.
Let's take a listen.
Mayor Zorn Mumdani is now facing some serious backlash
over the rollout of his new PETA tear attacks,
as well as his administration's move
to now publish a searchable database of all these properties
that could be impacted by that tax.
Here's Pennsylvania Senator John Federman on the Big Apple mayor.
He's a clown, and now he's putting the list of people
that owns homes in New York.
You know, don't put people on lists.
They haven't done anything wrong.
And they're behaving in truly bizarre ways.
National correspondent Brian Yenish,
joining us live from right here in New York City with more on this.
Hi, Brian.
Hi, Bill.
Good afternoon.
Well, Mayor Zoroamam Dani's rollout of this Piazza tax on luxury second homes in New York City
is causing confusion and raising concerns.
For one, there is that searchable database of 960,000 properties in the city.
it states on that database that all may be subject to the tax.
It includes the names, addresses, and home valuations of every property owner in the city,
even though just an estimated 31,000 properties meet the basic valuation criteria to qualify for this new tax.
Okay, so doxing in a sense would be releasing personal information like name and addresses publicly for people to access.
It's not even behind a paywall.
in that context, that's exactly what the mayor did. If I click on this link, it'll take me to the
webpage, NYC.gov, finance, and you can scroll down here and download all the Excel sheets,
and it'll give you the person's name and address. Now, I will say, just to be objectively fair here,
every city you could literally do this. You can get access to people's property records.
There's no issue there. But given the state of our political climate and how the wealthy have
been turned out to be these villains, particularly in New York City, and now some people will act on
that with violence, like CEO of United Healthcare, for an example. I don't think this is the best
move optically for the mayor, but I'm sure he has a legitimate excuse, right? Here's what he said.
Critics say this database makes it too easy to search and even target or harass the wealthy
at a time that the mayor has been hostile towards them. Today, Mayor Mamdani said this is not a
targeted list. It's a total property role they had to release under state law.
We are committed to ensuring that this is a tax only levied upon those whose second
homes are worth more than $5 million. And the reason that we wanted to conduct outreach
months in advance of when the tax would be levied would be to ensure that that exact premise would
be fulfilled. All right. So I appreciate you watching so far. Stick with me here as I get through
this message from today's sponsor Tax Network USA. Do you owe back taxes or have unfiled tax returns?
It's a serious thing, by the way. Did you retire and suddenly get hit with a tax bill you didn't expect?
If you're a business owner with messy books and the balance that you can't afford, you have to get this tax issue solved.
And the best people to talk to is Tax Network USA because your balance is not going away.
Penalties will grow. Interest does compound. And many of you are about to owe again for this upcoming tax year.
So stop what you're doing. Call it tax network USA. They've been in the business over 15 years.
There hasn't been in case they haven't been able to solve. They're offering a free investigation
call with the IRS after that investigation. They put a clear case plan together to resolve
your tax issues as soon as possible. Do not wait for another IRS letter or a frozen bank account. Call
Tax Network USA today at 1-866-68-0279. That number again is 866-68-0-279 or go to TNUSA.
or slash devori or just scan the QR code on the screen.
Again, he has other problems on his hands because some of the homeowners who've received this
warning from the city are not actual wealthy individuals.
They are not the CEO of some real estate developer company.
In fact, there are some citizens receiving these letters and they only have one home to
their name.
I'm going to show an example of that.
This is a retired teacher who says that his only home is being targeted by New York City's
second home tax.
Take a look.
Sloppiness is probably going to end up hurting people the most.
Not only actually do we live here, but my daughter and my grandsons live upstairs in the house.
But again, there's by no stretch of the imagination, can this be considered a second home?
The Department of Finance could be easily verified that through our tax records, which always are from,
this address and that always indicate we're here 12 months a year rather than putting the burden
on taxpayers. It's the kind of thing that A is upsetting and time-consuming, but also undermines
people's confidence in government. I don't know about you, but I don't have much confidence
in any government at this point because I just think they're too incompetent and they spend more
time virtue signaling than actually executing policies that would help the people they say
that they represent, which is why you just saw that man who only owns one home being targeted
when it's only supposed to apply to people who don't live in New York City but own a second home
there. I mean, it's kind of common sense, right? But this is so bad, the rollout is so bad that even
people who voted and donated to Mondani's campaign is on this list as well. And on this list were
celebrities that have previously supported the radical left, like Cynthia Nixon and Anna Wintour.
So why did he do this? Because it's an intimidation tactic. It's part of the whole communist
eat the rich movement. What this also suggests is that it doesn't matter if you support the left.
They are not above putting you on a list and scaring you into compliance if you don't fall in line.
Also, a lot of Zora Mandati supporters insist that millioners and billioners are not leaving the state of New York.
But if you want to drive them out faster, this is a good way to do it.
Of course it is.
In fact, it's already happening.
I mean, if you look at the tax revenue, it has declined because of people who are taking
their business somewhere else.
Now, will it, you know, I guess blow up New York City?
No.
But it does have an effect.
It's called cause and effect.
All right, guys.
I mean, this is insanity.
You let me know what your thoughts are so far about Mondani in this mess.
I think we're ready for our sanity report.
Let's get into that.
Sanity report is where we get to react to viral clips on the internet about American
culture and give them a grade.
And where we start first is, I don't know how you guys are going to feel about this one,
but for me, this is a reminder that some people just should not be asked about their opinions.
Okay.
So this black woman says that there isn't an amendment.
that gave women the right to vote.
Maybe that amendment shouldn't exist based on what she had to say.
Women are the crux of society.
And if we can't show respect for everyone, then I feel like we're just kind of doomed.
What amendment gave women the right to vote?
None.
Right?
I don't know.
What?
This is the problem in America.
People dish out opinions, but they've done.
done no research, that they could say whatever they want and not face any consequences.
That's the idea. That's the life they live, by the way. Most women are not actually held to
account on much of anything that they do. So she gets an F because she doesn't even know the 19th
Amendment, unfortunately. You guys remember how much I, or how much I despise Governor Westmore,
right? So he's, he's, he's our, he's our next.
guy here.
So anyways, he's at this
press conference and
he's being grilled by reporters
on his military records
and his tax records.
We have to understand,
Governor Westmore committed stolen baller
so he deserves the criticism.
We shouldn't trust anything that this man says.
But here is what he did
say. Now for months,
we've requested
to you multiple times
the release of your tax records, your
military records. Your spokesperson even said that those records would be released back, I believe,
in March. We still haven't received those records. Just fundamentally, do Marylanders know who
you actually are? It's a serious question, God. Yeah. We have been very transparent in terms of,
you know, we have, are you not received? Let me answer the question. I can answer the question.
I hope he does answer the question.
We have, if you look at what we have done, that we are the, you know, not only put an anti-corruption EO on day one, you know, also I put all of my assets within a blind trust and also sign legislation that every governor coming out for me must put all their assets inside of a blind trust as well.
That we have, we have, if people have any questions about my military records, they can just read the Baltimore banner, who did a wonderful job of being able to profile that.
And frankly, the thing that I want released are the Epstein files.
So you're not.
He wants the Epstein files released.
Right.
So it could distract people from him committing stolen valor.
The interesting thing about him is I wish that room was filled with veterans asking him these questions because he know he couldn't say that.
See, he can get away with this because it's a reporter.
They know what it is.
They go back and forth.
But let's bring in some veterans, particularly veterans who have received the Medal of Honor or Bronze Star or higher.
and you tell them your dumb-ass excuse about why you lied for almost 15 years about receiving a bronze star.
And only after you ran for political office where you had some level of clout,
you called in a favor at the last minute in a closed-door ceremony to finally receive the award.
Military veterans, usually that never happens.
So, yeah, he's an app.
Absolutely.
Good on that reporter for asking those questions to make sure that this governor never forgets that he's a liar.
and a fraud. Okay, let's go to our next one. This is Senator John Federman in a suit, by the way.
So that's number one. But number two, doing the very thing Democrats are allergic to doing,
which is expressing the regrets from their failed decision-making regarding COVID.
Here's what he had to say today during this hearing with Anthony Fauci and the rest of them.
It's not about much more your regrets, but I have one. And that is early on that,
there was the theory that the virus could have emerged from the lab.
And early on, that became like a right-wing kinds of theory.
And I thought it seemed to make sense.
Now, there was a really advanced lab that was close by.
And then you have this unknown virus out.
So, but that became a very partisan thing.
And now it seems now it's more and more emerging.
theory that that would have come from from the lab now you know i hope i think that the next time
our nations facing something like this we are not become you know as i might have been blinded by
the partisan idea that maybe the truth might come from a side that's different than than you are but
yeah senator john fetterman salute to you sir a plus for admitting that you were wrong you got
swept up in the propaganda regarding covid uh that dr anthony
Fauci should be prosecuted for crimes against humanity. Obviously, he has received a pardon,
so not much is going to happen. Maybe if a state decides to prosecute him, which I believe Florida
is in the middle of trying to make that happen. Bottom line is good on you for being the only
Democrat to admit the truth. All right. Let's go to our final one here. Zoroamandani. We're
circling back on him. And he did this interview, which was all about black people, essentially.
And this is insanity.
So I guess he believes reparations is going to do it for black people.
Let's listen.

A commission studying reparations in this city
recommended cash reparations
for people impacted
in New York City
would you support that recommendation?
First I want to say that I stand by what I submitted.
It's the truth. It's not a personal assessment
and we often think about
slavery and the complicity in slavery as being exclusively to certain geographic areas of the country.
Here in New York City, we were very complicit. And so I look forward to whatever those findings
are. I can't give you an answer in advance of them, but I can tell you that this is critically
important because this is also what it looks like to acknowledge what history truly was.
Yeah, this is the same talking point. Kamala Harris used and other black leaders in politics
who say they are about supporting reparations,
and the first step that they do to prove that is they say,
yeah, we're going to put a commission together.
We're going to study it.
We're going to, and all this other stuff.
And so essentially what they're saying is,
we're going to do everything we can except actually doing reparations.
Okay?
And black people fall for it.
Okay?
That's exactly, you know what he's doing right there.
Okay?
So he's trying to throw some crumbs over there and say,
hey, black voters, it's okay.
man, I understand your struggle.
So bottom line is, if I didn't make it clear,
Zaron Mandani gets an F.
Trying to virtue signal to black people in regards to reparations
isn't going to help socialism get a vote in that electorate.
Black people are not on board with socialism.
The numbers have shown it time and time again.
But maybe this is what he's going to try.
It's the latest strategy that Democrats always use
to weaponize skin, color, and grievances to get votes.
I pray that black people don't fall for it.
All right.
So drop your thoughts in the comments section below to this sanity report of today,
which you make up President Trump going off on Leader Thune and Madani facing backlash for this wealth tax on a second home,
which isn't even targeting people who don't have a second home, which is insane, and him trying to capitulate to black people so he can get votes.
