So President Trump, late last night, humiliated multiple journalists at the White House correspondent's dinner. We're also talk about what happened in Minnesota as a white woman has been found guilty for spewing racial slurs towards a black kid. And a USA Today columnist compared Caitlin Clark to WMBA to the lynching of Emmett Till. Let's start with what the president had to say. Well, I have all of the press here in one place. I have to say that we're having an amazing load of accomplishments. that the media never talks about. For example, under my administration,

a once feared and powerful regime that relentlessly attacked America has finally been toppled. Their former leaders have been removed, and they're now being run by a gay dictator facing internal divisions. But I, for one, wish Barry Weiss, all the best at CBS News.

She's a wonderful woman. Okay, so in case you guys don't know, Barry Wise is the creator, the free press. Bottom line is she sold it to Paramount. She took over essentially CBS 60 minutes, and it's been quite a war there internally and might actually have something to say for CNN, but this merger is technically on hold, by the way. But all he did essentially for most of his speech was do roast, right? He's making jokes about everybody. And I would argue that this is the most edgy version of President Trump doing jokes.

I mean, a lot of these jokes were like, if he went any further, some of these people would probably have left the room, if that makes sense. And I'll give an example. Let's go to Jake Tapper. That's a good thing. But some people say that Jake Tapper is a great investigative reporter in D.C., and that's why after moderating our debate, it only took him one year to break the story that Joe Biden might possibly have suffered from cognitive declined.

Took him one year. He wrote a book about how great he was mentally, not too good. Yeah, you could probably say that about a lot of journalists, in my opinion, who claimed to be an arbiter of truth and have integrity. Yeah, the fact that it took you to write a book so you could get paid for this book to finally tell the truth, I think that shows you your journalistic standards. Anyways, let's go to the next one. And this is him, the president, essentially trolling people on running, not for a third term, a fourth term.

Here we are. I mean, here we are. In fact, when I'm finished, I'm going right back to the Oval Office. So I have to be doing okay. But we are all doing good together. That's why tonight to show just how much I care about the press. And I want to save your ratings. I'm pleased to announce my intention to, and this is somewhat of a scoop.

my intention to run for a fourth term as president of the United States. I will be doing that. I will be having an official. In fact, I think I have, I won three times. Now I'm going to do it again. Thank you. All right. So obviously he's not going to run, but I mean, some people will find that funny.

I thought it was funny because I know he's really digging at people there who, get all bent out of shape at the idea that he would even talk about running again. He knows how to toy it with people, by the way. All right, here's, I would probably argue, I would probably argue this is one of the most edgiest, edgy jokes from him. This is about Caitlin Collins. I said, Caitlin, do you have a smile? Smile.

You have a nice position. You're at CNN fake news. You should be a happy person. So smile, Caitlin, just smile. But we attack. and I thought Caitlin had really made it big with a major new sponsorship, but then I informed her that it wasn't her on the Bud Light can. It was Dylan Mulvaney.

And Dylan Mulvaney cost Bud Light $35 billion in market cap. So most of his jokes didn't trigger a large applause or laughter because most of the people in the room, by the way, don't like the president. That's the interesting part. And even if they, in their heart of hearts, actually don't have anything against the president, they have to appear that they do, by the way,

because that's just how it works in politics, right? Tribalism. So a lot of the jokes, as I said, were either edgy, some bound them funny, some refuse to laugh, whatever. But this is what happens at the correspondence dinner. usually there's a roast that takes place. So it takes us to at least one reaction from this, from MSDNC, who didn't have anything good to say, obviously. And what struck you about the

night? And was it worth a second go-around? Yeah, it's a good question, Alex. Look, you know, I love the White House Correspondents Association. I've been a member almost continuously since 1996. That's almost 30 years. But last night was a mistake. You know, Our mission as a correspondent association is to defend the First Amendment rights of White House reporters to report on the president. And I just don't think we advanced that mission last night, you know. I would argue that you guys wouldn't want to advance that mission anyways because President Trump is there.

I think that is the reality. Now, is this story going to change your life? No. But it is something that happened last night. And I think we are just as divided politically as we've ever been. And I think that was obvious. last night when people couldn't even laugh when it came to being roasted. All right, let's go to our next one.

This is a big one. So a columnist, excuse me, from the USA Today, she's in hot water. She thought it was a smart idea to compare what's happening with Caitlin Clark and the WMBA to the lynching of Emmett Till. Yeah, we reach peak levels of wokenness. Let's listen. One USA Today writer claiming she puts black, in her words, queer WMBA players, endanger by what she described as flopping, in which she wrote in part, quote,

it seems there is a white nationalist faction to Clark's fandom that is deeply, deeply problematic, made even more so because the WMBA is made up predominantly of black women, and again, her words, many of them queer, when Clark claims fouls that don't exist. Now, when she goes on profanity, lace tirades at referees, those races, to see her as a white woman in need of saving and taking matters into their own hands. And added, quote, it shouldn't need this reminding that this country has an awful history of black people being harmed, even killed in the name of defending white women. Okay, let's just stop right there because when you're listening to that, I would imagine your

head is exploding. But let me make sure you're clear on what the facts are. And national newspaper published the argument that a basketball player selling a foul call belongs in the same conversation as a 14-year-old boy who was tortured and murdered in Mississippi. Then the outlet, because they got so much backlash, edit the column after the backlash, and still left that part in. You just can't make that up. And by the way, in case you wanted to get even more upset over this, the columnist who wrote it, she doubles down. Take a listen. The irony of the WNBA's All-Star Game is that it's happening this weekend.

And in Chicago, the hometown of Emmett Till, arguing Clark's on-court behavior has become dangerous. Now she's apologizing after the backlash, saying, quote, in my recent column, I made an artful comparison with the murder of Emmett Till. I obviously did not provide enough context for that. However, this point stands. There is a history in this country of perceived threats to white women being weaponized against African-Americans and the danger that poses to black players in the

Okay, so let's be objectively fair here. If there are black WBA players who are receiving racist messages and death threats, that is disgusting and should be condemned. And the people sending that stuff should be prosecuted if we're talking about actual death threats. That's fair, by the way. But where is the evidence that Caitlin Clark is instructing these people to do this, all right? Or instructing them to actually send those messages, encouraging them or knowingly empowering these people to do so? that doesn't exist. What's empowering people like that to behave that way is obviously the reaction to Caitlin Clark from black players. Now, you can blame Caitlin Clark for that, or maybe if the WMBA players

actually treated her for the talent that she is, they wouldn't see this amount of backlash. But come on, we're talking about black women here. And I don't want to stereotype, but let's call it what it is. They're not going to let Caitlin Clark outshine everybody else. It ain't going to happen. As far left wing as the average political journalist is, the average sports media journalist is further left wing than that. The sports media is more biased to the far left than the political media is. And so within the prism of identity politics, which is all that left-wing analysis can exist within, as a straight white woman, Caitlin Clark, is a threat to a lesbian black league. And so everything that she does cannot stand alone as it should in all of athletics

were the best man or woman, not the best man pretending to be a woman. Thank you, Sophie Cunningham, for saying it, should win, right? And Caitlin Clark right now is one of the best players in the WNBA, and she's straight and she's white, and the league is falling apart as a result. If Caitlin Clark had the exact same talent, but she were a black lesbian, and she would be celebrated. And right there is Clay Travis hitting the nail on the head. That's the problem.

That's why I said WMBA, they will always hold themselves back. It's because of their paradigms, their belief systems, and the way that they see their league. And if they really wanted to lead to be the lead that they wanted and they wanted to get paid more money and be respected and recognized, they should be milking this cow all the way to the slaughterhouse. But they won't do that. And I'm not calling Caitlin Clark on a personal level of cow.

you guys get the analogy, but they refuse to use her for the talent that she is because they essentially have resentment and hatred in their heart. And on a broader point, I argue this is the problem with black culture overall. But more importantly, Emmett Till's name should force America to remember the consequences of how bad things can get in our past, but not be used as ammunition and another manufactured Caitlin Clark controversy. in order to get clicks and virtue signal. That's what happened here. In this league, everyone would be in love with her.

They wouldn't punch her in the throat. They wouldn't be writing that she's encouraging white supremacist to lynch basketball players, which is effectively what that moron at USA Today said. And so Caitlin Clark, by nearly being straight and white, has broken what is otherwise a far left wing league. A league, by the way, that has been propped up by the NBA for 30 plus years. would not otherwise exist.

If it weren't only made up of female players, that's why it's called the W&A. All right. I mean, you guys let me know your thoughts in the comments section to that particular update. Maybe you don't even care for the WMB, but just I'd really love to know your guys' thoughts because I can't make sense of what these women are doing in that league, to that league, and to a talent like Caitlin Clark. The numbers don't lie. She sells more jerseys than anybody else.

She sells more shoes than anybody else. The team sells more tickets than anybody else. The team dominates social media than any other team in the league. It's not a comparison. She is the X factor, but they refuse to see the truth for what it really is. Let's go to our next story, speaking about truth. So this white woman has been convicted for saying a racial slur towards a child who was black and had autism. But here's the kicker.

Technically, she wasn't convicted of that. She was convicted of disorderly conduct towards the man who recorded it. You might remember this story. Let me show you. Morning, the verdict is in in the trial of a woman charged with disorderly conduct for calling a little boy a racial slur at a Rochester park. Late last night, around nine hours after receiving the case, an Olmstead County jury reached a split verdict for Shiloh Hendricks, finding her guilty of one of two counts

of disorderly conduct. So you may remember this story from this viral video last year that started after Hendricks allegedly called an eight-year-old boy with autism, an N-word on the playground. Leading to community rallies, pushing back against racism and hate speech. According to KTTC, jurors convicted Hendricks on the charge relating to a crime against the adult man who actually took that viral video, but not guilty of disorderly conduct against the child she's accused of verbally attacking. All right, let's just do a mental exercise here. If you're a white person and you watch my show, I want you to go down to your local playground,

this in your mind and find yourself a young boy who's autistic and call him a cracker, do you think you would be prosecuted? All right. Now, if you're black, I want you to do the same exercise. Would you be prosecuted? If you're Asian, Hispanic, Latino, you're from India or, you're from some other foreign country, would you be prosecuted for saying those things at a playground to a white kid? Would you?

See, it's the double standard. It's the hypocrisy. And what I find to be interesting is you have people like the NWACP crying saying that the system is racist, but then they use racism to essentially convict this white woman. Who knew you could be convicted for saying a racial slur? Who knew? The Rochester branch of the NACP submitted a victim impact statement that was read in court asking the judge for the stiffest sentence possible saying, quote, the words and actions of Ms. Hendricks caused tremendous fear and trauma to a defenseless child. For many members of our community, this was not simply an isolated playground incident. It was a painful reminder that the hatred represented by that word still exists today.

You know, the unfortunate part about people who do use the N-word, whether it's for end-word, whether it's for endearment, joking, or they use it in a derogatory way. They don't even understand the definition. Willful ignorance, okay? My mother taught me that at a very young age. and the problem here is that the woman who used that term at the playground, she was in her feelings, she was upset, and she said something she shouldn't have said as an adult. Okay, she could have been tactful.

She didn't. And she faced a lot of backlash back then anyway. But does that mean she should be convicted for disorderly conduct? I don't think so. And the bottom line here is we shouldn't let words have that much control over us anyway. The state reads a, what, a five-minute victim impact statement about the child? She was acquitted about the child. She's convicted on the count involving the cameraman, who they never called to testify.

Keep this in mind. They never called the cameraman to testify. This judge prohibited us from telling the jury that Jamali, Shire Jamali, had a, Go fund me. Page $340,000. That's an indictment, I would argue, on our country, but also shows you the freedoms that we have. We live in a world today where you can, in a dispute with a teenager, stab him in the heart, kill them, and still get paid $600,000 because people believe in you. Okay? This is the world that we live in.

So I'm not shocked the family received that amount of money. And it's people's right. If you want to donate to whoever you believe in, go right on ahead. But see, this is not about really our personal opinions. This is about the law and how the law could be bent, right, or manipulated in a way to get a guilty verdict. That's exactly what this was about. And that local community and the misplaced guilt that they live with, which is why they found are guilty. And it's unfortunate.

I think it sends a bad message as far as free speech is concerned. I'm a free speech guy. You can say whatever word you want under the sun. I've had people call me the N-word. They'll call me a monkey. They'll say that I'm a coon. They bring out all of the terms and they send it to my DMs because I don't, I'm not in lockstep with Democrat talking points.

So I've seen it all and I've heard it all. And, you know, I'm not advocating for these people to be convicted. I think it's craziness.
