Starting point is 00:00:00 You have to watch these three stories today. One, Christian Nome has finally come out and responded to the judge who has ruled that ICE officials are not allowed to do their job, essentially. Two, Tom Holman, school-seeded Dana Bash on racial profiling. And number three is the one-year anniversary of President Trump's failed assassination attempt. I'm going to show you what both sides are saying in this video and then give you the bottom line. So a federal judge issued a temporary restraining order against a lot of the ICE. operations that have been carried out in south in southern california just a couple of days ago but in his order he said this defendants can't rely solely on the factors below alone or in
Starting point is 00:00:39 combination to form reasonable suspicion for a detentive stop except as permitted by law says a parent race or ethnicity speaking Spanish or speaking English with an accent presence at a particular location like a bus stop a car wash a tow yard a day labor or pickup site agricultural side, et cetera, or the type of work that one does. Now, the way that the LA mayor, Karen Bass, who celebrated this ruling, described it. She says this administration has been masked men grabbing people off the street, chasing working people through parking lots and marching through children's summer camps. All right, so just a few things for you. Number one, this ruling is pretty much saying, ICE, don't do your job. I mean, let's get real, all right? Number two, this ruling
Starting point is 00:01:19 proves once again that these lower court judges are issuing rulings that are more politically driven that it is being driven by the U.S. Constitution. And that also brings me to number three, which is the way the media is covering this ruling and how they're manipulating their viewers. And that's what we're going to get into here first. That's why I'm using Ground News, as you guys can see here on the screen. If you want to follow along,
Starting point is 00:01:41 just go to ground that news forward slash Devori. You've been following me for a long time. You already know ground news helps us see the full picture of what's being reported by the media so we can do what? We can think for ourselves. As an example, when you look up, a story on ground news. You could see what left-leaning articles are saying or right-leaning
Starting point is 00:01:59 articles. Now, take a look at this first article from a left-leaning outlet. L.A. Judge orders ICE to seize indiscriminate raids and racial profiling. I mean, that's how they're categorizing all of this. Now, before we go any further, let's hear from Chris Yunn and her reaction to this ruling. Take a look. So what do you do with this ruling? Does it go to the Ninth Circuit? do you do an emergency pill to SCOTUS? Well, this federal judge's ruling is ridiculous. We never ran our operations that way. We always built our operations, our investigations, on casework, on knowing individuals that we needed to target because they were criminals, because they had conducted violent crimes against individuals in their communities, or had
Starting point is 00:02:40 overstayed their orders, had violated federal laws, and that is always how this is done. It's been done exactly how law enforcement has operated for many years in this country, and ICE is out there making sure we get the worst or the worst off the streets. So this judge made a decision that we will appeal and we will win because he's wrong. We've never targeted individuals based on those qualifications that he laid out. And again, we've seen this across the country over and over and over again, where judges are getting political. It's not their job.
Starting point is 00:03:09 I hope they can bring some dignity back to the bench because we certainly are lacking it now for many of these federal judges. See, this brings us to the most important question I have for anybody out there who is continuing to criticize what ICE agents are doing? Is it illegal? Now, according to this lower court judge, she's trying to argue it is because they're stopping people with no probable cause. And in most of the cases, they have a criminal warrant. Now, if we compare what left-leaning outlets had to say to what right-leaning outlets had to say, it's right here on the screen from the epic times. Federal judge orders Trump admin to halt immigration operations without probable cause
Starting point is 00:03:47 in California. See, there's no spin on that. And this is what I want for anybody who watches my channel. Don't believe anything that I say. Definitely don't believe anything the mainstream media is saying, do your research. And in order to do that, you can use a tool like Ground News. So if you want to use this tool for yourself, all you have to do is go to ground.combe. Or you can download the mobile app. Just use promo code DeVoree. And it's going to give you access to everything that I showed you in this video, including 40% off the Vantage Plan. You said in an interview this week that reasonable suspicion can be based on, quote, the location, their occupation, their physical appearance, their actions. What about an individual's physical appearance would give immigration
Starting point is 00:04:32 agent, quote, reasonable suspicion that they might be in the U.S. illegally? Well, first of all, Let me be clear. Physical description can't be the sole factor to give you reason of suspicion. As I said in an interview, it's articulable facts with an S. So appearance can be just one. For instance, if someone has an MS-13 tattoo on their face, that would be one factor to add to other factors to raise reason of suspicion. I want to be clear about that again because my words are taken out of context. Physical description cannot be the sole reason to detain and question somebody. That can't be the sole reason to raise reasonable suspicion.
Starting point is 00:05:12 It's a myriad of factors, and I can see her for the next half hour and give you all the factors. So every officer, every situation is different, but I can tell you this, every ICE officer goes through Fourth Amendment training every six months and reminded what their authorities are for arrest, detention, and questioning. So the officer is very well trained, so I look forward to DOJ litigating this judge's decision, because I think she makes a decision while knowing what that officer knows when they get out of that vehicle. question somebody. Yeah, so I don't know why CNN continues to let Tom Holman on there. But before we react, I just have to tell you guys, July 13th is the one-year anniversary of our YouTube channel.
Starting point is 00:05:50 If you've been with us since the beginning, definitely grateful for you. I appreciate you always taking the time to hear what I have to say. And if you haven't taken the time out to subscribe to our channel, do so now. We're almost to a million subscribers. Can you believe it? I am so grateful for the opportunity, the blessing that God has given me. And I'm definitely grateful for you. Now, if you do want to support us further besides subscribing, just go to the links in the description below, shop our merch store, or buy us a cup of coffee, and make sure to follow us on Spotify or Apple podcast. Yeah, it's interesting how Dana Bass, she continues to get schooled by Tom Holman because, again, she's in the narrative business,
Starting point is 00:06:29 the propaganda business. He's in the business of getting results for the American people and keeping us safe. And those two narratives just don't align whatsoever. And, and And the bottom line here, as I stated previously, it's going to get overturned. It's a complete joke. I mean, you're basically telling ICE officials that they can't do their job. They can't go to Home Depot. They can't go here. They can't go there.
Starting point is 00:06:50 They can't do this. They can't do that. I mean, it's outrageous. They're following the law that's in accordance with Congress. So that's why I'm not that concerned about it because it will be overturned. But again, these are the games that Democrats are going to continue to play. Now, as an example, here is Senator Padilla. back to Tom Holman's statement. Take a look.
Starting point is 00:07:11 I mean, Holman has said it very clearly in other interviews. They're not even asking for, you know, significant findings to detain people. They're going based on appearance, his words, not mine, based on occupation, his words, not mine, based on accents, you know, physical appearance. Then what if I was outside of Home Depot? Because I like to do some work around the house, not dressed in a suit. Would I be a target of ice and force? under Tom Holman probably and it's just wrong it's not just due process rights that have become the concern but racial profiling when federal agents involved in immigration enforcement are using racial profiling they're not enforcing the law they are breaking it
Starting point is 00:07:56 and I basically asked about that he said that he's being misunderstood that it's factors with an S and not a factor like the way somebody looks or the way they talk yeah but he laid out the fact that he's, you know, encouraging them to consider. Again, it is appearance, its accents, it's occupation. Again, construction workers, farm workers, you name it, the evidence is out there. Now, let's exercise some common sense, and this would be my main pushback to Democrats, independents, people have been very critical of President Trump and the way they're handling these deportations. You guys cannot have it both ways.
Starting point is 00:08:32 You can't say, we agree with you guys deporting illegal aliens who have committed crimes, and then in the same breath say, hey, but we don't want you entering our jails to pick up criminals who have committed crimes that are illegal aliens. You guys get what I'm saying? This is the missing fact in this entire debate. ICE officials are not allowed to enter the jail to take custody of an illegal alien who committed a crime. Think about that for a second. So when they're crying about, well, why are they chasing them? Why are they showing up to Home Depot?
Starting point is 00:09:04 It's because they can't even show up to the local jail. get real. There is not a glamorous side to the problem that we have in this country. And I think that there was a long time where we denied that there was a problem in this country. We had people humanitarian crises at the border for a long time. And that has been solved. And I think we should appreciate that that has been solved. Now, what to do with the millions and millions of people who are here?
Starting point is 00:09:24 That is a problem that I don't know there's a good easy answer to. Now, we do need to have better. We need to have facilities. We need to have judges who can process. And that is really where the big backlog is. People end up in facilities like this because people that we realize or that we know probably should be deported. We don't have any way to process their claims. So there's a lot that needs to be fixed here. This is probably not the model, at least that people are thinking that it
Starting point is 00:09:46 should be. But I think it's important to appreciate that there needs to be something done to address what we have here. All right. Can we just take a moment and look at their faces? I mean, they can't believe he just said that. I mean, this is MSDNC, of course. But he's right. I mean, there's no easy solution to the problem that Joe Biden caused. So Democrats, stop crying. You guys think this is normal business. This is not normal. The situation that President Trump inherited is not normal. So it means it requires abnormal solutions.
Starting point is 00:10:18 And I know it's politics. So of course, they have to disagree instead of just doing the common sense thing and working with the president. I don't know. An example that would be let ICE officials into the local jails. One thing I have heard over and over anecdotally is that people who are, in the United States legally, legally, are scared about getting swept up in all of this because of the color of their skin, because they speak with an accent, because of the location where they might be going. And they're not going out. They don't want to be detained by mistake, have their kids
Starting point is 00:10:53 or themselves traumatized. Are you comfortable with that? If they're in the country legally, they've got no reason to be afraid. ICE is looking for those in the country legally. And we're still a problem. prioritizing public safety threats and national security threats. That's the priority. But like I said, you know, we do have collateral arrests in many areas because we're out looking for those public safety threats. But we're going to enforce immigration law, too.
Starting point is 00:11:20 I mean, it's not okay to be in this country. Legally it's not okay to enter this country. It's a crime. But legal aliens and U.S. citizens should not be afraid that they're going to be sweats up in a raid. We know who we're looking for, and that's what the agents are out there seeking. And again, they use a lot of information.
Starting point is 00:11:40 Mostly operations we conduct our targeted enforcement operation. When we go out, we know exactly who we're looking for. Most likely we will find them. Many times we have a criminal history and immigration history when we go out looking for that person. So if you're in a country legally, you shouldn't fear ice. What you should fear is the criminal aliens walk in the communities in sanctuary cities. Yeah, so once again, it's fascinating to see CNN continue to describe these people as if they are victims.
Starting point is 00:12:06 No, the true victims are the stress economically by allowing tens of millions of migrants to cross the border into our country in a short period of time. Okay. That is actually what's ruined our country in certain aspects. Number two, it's also what causes us to be in this current situation where you have to plus up ice agents and you have to beef up the operations to get these people out of the country. And number three, if you're following the law, you have nothing. to worry about. Stop listening to MSDNC and people who tell you you're next. No, you're not next. Whose next is a person who's breaking the law. It's that simple. However, when you're Trump deranged and you buy into the fear margaring from the media, of course you're going to eat up this
Starting point is 00:12:53 crap. Now, the other thing that's being brought up is this clip from Mark Cuban, who is calling for Democrats to start working with Republicans on this issue. Take a look. They should be putting Tom Holman on blast saying, okay, the FBI has their top 10 most wanted list, right? Let's just get this right. Holman, don't, you know, do it right. List the top 100. Go after them. List the top 1,000, you know, criminals that are here that need to be deported.
Starting point is 00:13:24 We'll all help you. But the Democrats would never say something to the fact, we'll help you. They only have to do something that's the antithesis of what Trump says and does. It does. You've never heard a Democrat say in the past seven months, yeah, okay, I don't like it, but this is a step in the right direction. We're going to help because I think the better path is for the Democrats to bring attention to the bad things and the good things and say on the good things will help you.
Starting point is 00:13:54 Now, of course, we don't agree with Mark Cuban's politics whatsoever. And we know how much of a clown he was during Kamala Harris's campaign, but that does not distract from the fact that he is making a good point for Democrats. And it's the world that I would love our country to get back to. We can disagree, but that doesn't mean we can't work together to find common ground solutions here. Okay. Again, the most important solution or the first step that Democrats should be making at this point, based on what I continue to say throughout this video, is let the ICE agents into the local jails.
Starting point is 00:14:29 You don't want ICE agents at Home Depot, then distract them with letting them in to the jails and get the illegal aliens from there. I don't get how they don't see this. They are creating this problem, in my opinion. Now, Mark Cuban wasn't the only one who had some words for the Democrat Party. So did Stephen A. Smith. Take a look. But the reality is that the election showed us that America has spoken on this particular issues. And while we may not want children being taken away from their parents, separated from their parents and things of that nature, we certainly didn't want open borders where over 12 million
Starting point is 00:15:06 people crossed the borders in the United States of America, because we felt that it had a detrimental effect on this country. And so, the American voter has spoken about that regard, and what they've said is that the right and their position is closer
Starting point is 00:15:22 to a reality that we want in this country than the reality that the left was preaching. And when they send that kind of message, and then your response, or your retort thereafter in the aftermath of the election, obviously, is to take this route where you have a representative or an elected official out of Maryland going all the way to El Salvador to talk to somebody, but there's stuff going on right here at home that he couldn't find
Starting point is 00:15:49 the time for. This is the kind of stuff that is fodder for the right and they're going to use to their advantage any chance they get. Yeah, and that really sums up this entire story, which brings me to the bottom line so far, is that, For the people who don't like what President Trump is doing, my only pushback is, what solutions are you offering then? What is the pathway for people who have been in this country for 20 years and they allow their papers to expire? What is the pathway for people who did cross the border illegally? They haven't done anything to get their citizenship whatsoever. And they are here unlawfully based on the U.S. Constitution.
Starting point is 00:16:26 What do you want to do with them? And let's not forget the people who are committing crimes that are hanging out in sanctuary cities. What about those individuals? What should the mayors of these sanctuary cities do? Do you have a solution for that? Because until I hear that, on a more unified basis from Democrats, nothing of what they say is going to resonate, in my opinion. And this takes us to our next story, which also comes with details that are not resonating at this point. We know that it's the one-year anniversary of the failed assassination attempt against President Trump.
Starting point is 00:16:58 And we're still left with more questions than answers. Let's start here. Well, if you can believe it, that is scenes from one year ago today since the attempt on President Trump's life. One firefighter named Corey Compentory was killed while Trump's left ear bled from the assassination attempt at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, a year ago today. The incident drawing scrutiny over Secret Service, you'll remember. Remember that. A new Senate report accusing the agency for failing to stop the attempt, calling it a cascade of preventable failures. Six agents are appealing their suspension over their conduct during the shooting. The effort to kill then presidential candidate Trump has us
Starting point is 00:17:48 reflecting on the country's history. Now, Senator Federman continues to provide the best example for Democrats and how they should be behaving. Notice how quiet they are about the one-year anniversary of that failed assassination attempt. But not John Federman. Here's what he said. One year ago in Butler, Pennsylvania, it was a stark reminder of the awfulness of political violence that plagued our country and still does. I'm incredible, thankful the president wasn't assassinated, and I cannot imagine the collective national trauma. We must condemn political violence in any form and turn down the temperature. We are all Americans. That is a solid point. But let's be honest here. There are two disturbing things about this entire situation. Number one, we still don't know anything about the shooter. And the family who lost their husband and their father, they don't even have the answers either. Here's what they said yesterday. I'm really right at the beginning where I was back a year ago. You know, we really haven't, haven't healed that much. You know, we have no answers. So, you know, I miss them just like I did last year.
Starting point is 00:18:59 I want to sit down with the Secret Service and I want them to tell me everything that happened that day. I want to know why they failed. I want to know what happened. Why Butler? Why was that such a failure that day? What was the reason? Why did he walk around for an hour
Starting point is 00:19:18 without someone grabbing him? He was a wonderful human. He was just the best dad, the best he was the best husband i mean he was just a wonderful man he he would help anybody anybody he'd give you his last dollar yeah so no question it's just heartbreaking and this is why i love doing this show because i want people to be able to think for themselves because i'm about to show you a clip from what president trump thinks about the one year anniversary including the investigation behind Secret Service and whether or not he's satisfied with their explanation of what
Starting point is 00:19:58 happened. So it's a contrast. The family of Corey, they're not satisfied. But the president is. Take a look. There was so much conversation after that, though. You had members of Congress visiting the site there. People really on top of wanting to get answers to that. But I think we still are wondering. Yeah. So they briefed me and numerous times, the FBI, the Secret Service. sort of everybody. DOJ, Pamela's doing a fantastic, I think she's doing a fantastic job. But they
Starting point is 00:20:31 briefed me, and I'm satisfied with it. I'm satisfied with it. They should have had somebody in the building. That was a mistake. They should have had communications with the local police. They weren't tied in. And they should have been tied in. So there were mistakes made.
Starting point is 00:20:47 And that, you know, shouldn't have happened. And that building was a prime building in terms of what they were trying to do. So, but I was satisfied in terms of the bigger plot, the larger plot. I was satisfied. And, you know, I've great confidence in these people. I know the people and they're very talented, very capable. They had a bad day, and I think they'll admit that at a rough day. This is a very dangerous job being president. Yeah. See, that clip from the president is a prime example why I always encourage you to think
Starting point is 00:21:20 for yourself, okay? Just because you support president and Trump does not mean you can't criticize them, okay? I disagree with his statement. I think it's out of touch. There are no details and no answers for the public, but screw that, right? There's no answers and no details for the families. At least you could have done that for them. If you're so satisfied with the explanation from the Secret Service, why haven't they received one?
Starting point is 00:21:43 And again, I'm basing this assessment on the promise of building trust in our institutions again. But if we can't even trust the Secret Service, what do we have here? And that's why at the end of the day, you cannot lose sleep over things you can't control. I really wish they would provide more closure on this, but something tells me we're just not going to get it. Now, let's go to our other update. And this is about the tariffs that President Trump has announced, particularly against Canada, Brazil, and Mexico. Here is what Kevin Hassett had to say to ABC News this morning.
Starting point is 00:22:16 But let me ask you about the new tariffs that the president's just, announced that he's going to oppose on August 1st, on Canada, European Union, and Mexico. Why now? What's going on? Well, I think that we've got a deadline that's coming up in early August. And the thing about President Trump, if you go back and look at his history, that he became one of the most successful, if not the most successful businessman in the 20th century, because he was able to squeeze everything out of every deal that he made. And right now we've got that guy who wrote The Art of the Deal,
Starting point is 00:22:45 making deals for the American people. And we've got to see where the dust settles. The bottom line is that he's seen some sketches of deals that have been negotiated with Howard Lutnik and the rest of the trade team. And the president thinks that deals need to be better. And to basically put a line in the sand, he sent these letters out to folks and we'll see how it works out. All right, let me make sure you guys understand.
Starting point is 00:23:05 There's really two competing narratives here, really two separate debates. There's debate over the current negotiations with our trading partners where tariffs have gone up, they've gone down, and we're still trying to work out an official agreement. then there is this debate about how much money have we made with the existing reciprocal tariffs that did go into effect already. Let's handle the latter here. It was reported yesterday that U.S. Customs Duties topped $100 billion for the first time in a fiscal year. What does that mean exactly? The money we have received from our trading partners because of reciprocal tariffs, we have earned $100 billion so far, and that has never happened in history. So maybe there is
Starting point is 00:23:48 something to what President Trump is doing. Now, here's what Kevin Hassett had to say about that criticism. Take a look. I mean, for all the talk of deals, I mean, there was talk of 90 deals in 90 days, and then the president actually said 200 deals at one point. We've really only seen really two and a half deals.
Starting point is 00:24:04 We've seen the UK, we've seen Vietnam, and kind of a framework on China. So let me ask you, what we're hearing from the Europeans and from the Mexicans is they were in the middle of these negotiations as this was as this was going on. So is this a negotiating tactic or are these tariffs real? These, well, these tariffs are real if the president doesn't get a deal that he thinks
Starting point is 00:24:30 is good enough. But, you know, conversations are ongoing and we'll see where the dust settles. The bottom line is that President Trump has produced a huge amount of tariff revenue with the tariffs we've seen in the first half of the year. The congressional budget office has said that tariff revenue over the next 10 years, which will help reduce the deficit and secure our entitlement programs. It's $3 trillion. And consumers haven't seen that. You know, consumer price index inflation right now is the lowest has been in over a decade. And so what President Trump has always said is that the foreign suppliers, the foreign governments are going to bear most of the tariffs. It's being visibly seen. And I think that that's probably affecting his negotiating
Starting point is 00:25:06 position because we've got all this empirical evidence that his position has been proven correct of the data. And that's one thing you cannot argue with. Men lie when but the numbers don't. And the numbers so far show that whatever strategy President Trump has deployed, whether it's privately or publicly, it has yielded $100 billion worth of the revenue for the United States of America, which has never happened in history. That still is a drop in the bucket compared to how much we are in debt, but it's better than what we've been doing. And so maybe, again, there is something to that. Now, more importantly, I want to hear from you in the comments section below. Let's start with July 13th, the one-year anniversary.
Starting point is 00:25:44 of the failed assassination attempt against President Trump, do you agree with me that the lack of closure and clarity around what happened and why it happened is just a disappointment? Let me know if you feel the same way, especially for the families involved. In case you didn't know, it's also the one year university of our YouTube channel. So I think there's at least some good news there. And if you've been with me since the beginning, very grateful for you. Secondly, this stupid ruling from this lower court judge that is really politically based
Starting point is 00:26:12 to block ICE officials from doing. their jobs? I mean, where's the common sense in all of that? And they're using racial profiling or probable cause as a reason on why ICE officials were wrong, even though they had criminal warrants? Okay. And then also, you heard the update in regards to the tariffs and the $100 billion worth of revenue. As Scott Besson has said, they plan to see $300 million worth of revenue by the end of the year. We'll see. But let me know your thoughts about all of that in the comment section below. Okay, so in our next video, given all of the drama and the backlash from Trump supporters towards Pam Bondi and this entire Jeffrey Epstein debacle, President Trump has finally come out and given a chilling reminder to the base to let it go and move on. So if you missed out on what he said and the reaction from what he said, all you have to do is click on that video because it's coming up right now.
Starting point is 00:27:13 You know what I'm going to be able to be.
