Starting point is 00:00:00 You don't need AI agents, which may sound weird coming from Service Now, the leader in AI agents. The truth is, AI agents need you. Sure, they'll process, predict, even get work done autonomously. But they don't dream, read a room, rally a team, and they certainly don't have shower thoughts, pivotal hallway chats, or big ideas. People do. And people, when given the best AI platform, they're freed up to do the fulfilling work they want to do. To see how ServiceNow puts AI to work for people, visit ServiceNow.com. Getting ready for a game means being ready for anything, like packing a spare stick.
Starting point is 00:00:39 I like to be prepared. That's why I remember, 988, Canada's Suicide Crisis Helpline. It's good to know, just in case. Anyone can call or text for free confidential support from a train responder anytime. 988 suicide crisis helpline is funded by the government in Canada. You know, the president I still got to communicate, so we'll talk about it moving forward. But I appreciate it, guys. The president has to ask you?
Starting point is 00:01:05 Yeah, the president I've already talked, obviously. The statement went out, but we need to talk with the president, and we're going to get on the same page and do what things, what we need to do. Do you want to change at DHS? When did you find out, sir? A little bit before you guys do. Do you want the job? Any changes?
Starting point is 00:01:23 Senator, did you expect this? Guys, I'll talk to y'all for it. Now, we have breaking news that Chris, you know, is out as the Secretary of Department of Homeland Security, which is why you just saw Senator Mark Mullen, being grilled by reporters because he has been tapped to replace her. There are so many reasons that has led to this decision from the president, but I think the answer to it just might shock you. So let's start here. Watch. Breaking news, and this comes a day after a difficult couple of days on Capitol Hill and both
Starting point is 00:01:50 the House of the Senate for Christy Knoem, the Homeland Security Secretary. She is being replaced. Senator Mark Wayne Mullen is now going to take over her job. The president making the announcement on Truth Social just a short time ago. He writes, quote, I am pleased to announce that the Highland, respected United States Center from the great state of Oklahoma. Mark Wayne Mullum will become the United States Secretary of Homeland Security, effective March 31st of this year.
Starting point is 00:02:16 The current secretary, Christy Nome, who has served as well and has had numerous and spectacular results, especially on the border, will be moving to be special envoy for the shield of the Americas, which is a new security initiative in the Western Hemisphere that they're announcing on Saturday at Doral and Florida. The president says, I thank Christy for her service. at homeland. So this comes amid reports that the president was none too pleased
Starting point is 00:02:42 about the advertising campaign Monday that came to light during these hearings, Sandra. And so just in the last 24 hours, we've heard a lot of rumors that Mark Wayne Mullen may be tapped for DHS, and now it appears. The president has made that decision and that's going to happen the end of the month.
Starting point is 00:03:00 Yeah, there was some reporting leading up to this that this could be the case. No confirmation had been made by the president himself until now, but there was reports of, you know, frustration inside the White House over some of the actions taken on the part of Chrissy Nome. Well, that was definitely wrong on one thing. I didn't think the president had the balls to fire anybody in this administration, but she must have done enough that got him to the position where he had no choice.
Starting point is 00:03:25 Or they may think this is politically, essentially, there's been so much backlash because of the propaganda, obviously. That's part of it. I think part of it also is her messaging after Renee Good and Alex Prudy. I've been very consistent on that day one. I always said she shouldn't have been the one talking. Tom Homan should have been the one. And you combine that with an election year going into the midterms.
Starting point is 00:03:51 This decision might be more about how do we make it appear to independence out there where he's underwater on that we are holding people accountable at the highest level. this is exactly what this looks like to me. I mean, I want you guys to really, this is just breaking, by the way. Think about this. The president of the United States, Donald J. Trump, had the balls to get rid of Chrissy Nome, but Joe Biden never had the balls to get rid of Majorcas, who failed when it came to FEMA, no question, and the border. Now, just a brief moment, I have to mention this, guys.
Starting point is 00:04:29 I have joined a platform called Shoutout. Starting point is 00:04:59 All right, let me play this next clip for you. Watch. Looking at the announcement, though, and looking at the touting President Trump does, of Mark Wayne McMillan's record 10 years in the U.S. House of Representatives, three in the Senate. The president says he's done a tremendous job with the people of Oklahoma. As the president pointed out somewhere, he did very well. So obviously, this is breaking news. Just now, President Trump making the formal announcement that DHS Secretary of Christy Knoem will be replaced, John. I will and also the president taking note of Mark Wayne Mullen's status as a former undefeated professional MMA fighter, also the only Native American in the settle.
Starting point is 00:05:39 Let's break in Jackie Heinrich. She's at the White House. The timing of this, I guess, was a little bit of a surprise. We didn't expect it quite this soon, but it was certainly expected. Well, you know, John, this president has been reluctant to shuffle his staff since really early in his second term when he moved National School. security adviser Mike Walts over to Ambassador of the UN. Since then, he's kept all of his folks sort of in position, weathered whatever criticism comes their way. And Christyneome, the DHS Secretary, has faced a turbulent period in the last few weeks amid the fallout, the response to the ICE deportation campaign in Minnesota, some public statements that she made. And then most recently this week, her testimony on Capitol Hill, there were reports that her defense of her
Starting point is 00:06:29 campaign, her ad campaign, $200 million in spending that prominently featured her, sometimes on horseback, claiming that the president, according to these reports, had approved of that, reportedly upset him. He wasn't happy about giving the impression, her given the impression that he had sort of authorized that amid this broader administration effort to root out fraud. Now, here's the official statement from the president, I'm pleased to announce that the highly respected United States Senator from the great state of Oklahoma, Mark Wayne Mullen, will become the United States Secretary of Homeland Security Effect of March 31st, 2026. The current secretary, Chrissy Nome, who has served as well, has had numerous and spectacular results. She will be moving to special envoy for the shield of the Americas guys.
Starting point is 00:07:13 The bottom line is she's been fired. But the president's going to say face by just moving her to a position nobody cares about. That is the brutal truth. Now, when she's misrepresenting some of the statements, or some of the policies that the president was focused on with this mass deportation operation when she was confronted by certain questions in her Senate hearing yesterday, they say that's what upset him. But I think a couple of things are happening at the same time. She has this relationship going on with Corey. The no-bid contracts, which that's a whole other thing, especially when you're
Starting point is 00:07:46 talking about Doge, the amount of money spent on commercials that she was a part of, okay, and then misrepresenting certain things in her hearing and her statements were regarding Alex Purdy and Renee Good. And the fact that we're in an election year, I mean, it kind of makes sense to me. Oh, yeah. And let's not forget, Democrats are still holding DHS hostage. Maybe this was part of the deal. We'll fund this, but you got to fire somebody.
Starting point is 00:08:11 All of this is obviously speculation because we're not in the room. But these are just a couple of ideas. So she's being moved now into another role. The Special Envoy for the Shield of the America as a new security initiative in the Western hemisphere that they're announcing on Saturday. The president's been, you know, defensive of Christy Knoem for the last several weeks as she's faced questions about her ability to carry out her duties. He regularly pointed to the success closing the southern border, the fact that there have been, you know, no illegal immigrants caught and released into the interior of the U.S. for
Starting point is 00:08:46 several months, the fact that overdoses and murders are at historic lows and pointed to those successes to sort of boost her up and defend keeping her in place. But it seems like that testimony on Capitol Hill might have been a turning point. There were also some reports that FEMA funding that was stalled suddenly came through after questioning. And so this is a rapid development, of course, and something we didn't expect until potentially after the midterms. This is a strange time for the president to make that major of the middle. a shakeup. But there was sort of the writing on the wall after
Starting point is 00:09:26 he elevated Tom Homan, his borders are, to take a more prominent role in the ICE deportation campaign. It's well reported that there's been a longstanding rift between Homan and Nome about how this should be handled. Sort of the...
Starting point is 00:09:43 Now, the interesting thing about this announcement, it's as if Chrissy Nome is not even aware yet. Because she's speaking live right now at some press conference where it's DHS communicating with local police officers about issues they're facing in their community regarding immigration enforcement. And during this entire coverage, it seems like her body language, her tone, it's like maybe she knows and she has a great poker face, or maybe she doesn't realize that it's happened yet. But let's show you just a brief clip of what she's saying. Watch.
Starting point is 00:10:17 And those that step up into public service is to fulfill our duty to protect American citizens. that they should come first under our Constitution and our laws, and they should be prioritized, and especially over other people who are from other countries. The Constitution demands that we treat our citizens that way, and the men and women who serve at the Department of Homeland Security, they understand the importance of that, and we also understand the importance of all of our law enforcement officers and what they do across the country to keep people safe.
Starting point is 00:10:46 So obviously, we can't confirm whether or not she knows, but I could tell you it definitely is awkward. they did have a clip of Senator Mullen. He was on the phone when reporters tried to confront him, so he hasn't taken any questions. He may have just found out himself as well. This is all fast movement. But one thing is for sure, which according to the reporting at this point,
Starting point is 00:11:04 that the president was watching the hearings in the House and the Senate where Chrissy Nome over the past two days, and he was unhappy. And remember, we showed you guys the clip with Senator John Kennedy and other Republicans grilling her as if they were not in support of what she's been doing. They were questioning where is the money going. They were questioning the optics of a 737 with luxury bedrooms in it for DHS. They were questioning her relationship with Corey. I mean, there was a lot of questions and not that much support, if that makes sense.
Starting point is 00:11:36 And I think that's why MS disinformation has this perception of what happened. Watch. We work in television, but no one out there perhaps watches more television than Donald Trump. And I'm thinking about the hearings over the last. past couple of days. And to put it mildly, the hearings did not go well in the Senate or in the House. And they did not go well in a way that hearings have typically gone well for Donald Trump, which is to say, we have seen very little melting from the GOP in oversight contexts, in confirmation context, in congressional context, the rarity, the rarest of rarities,
Starting point is 00:12:21 has been Republicans standing up to Donald Trump. And with Christy Noem, the last couple of days, the Republicans in Congress had confidence that they had a vehicle to do that that was safe for them. The number one principle for legislators is self-preservation. And that's why they haven't stood up to Donald Trump. We know that. The last couple of days, standing up to Christy Noem
Starting point is 00:12:44 was something that you saw a number of Republicans who very, very rarely are out of lockstep with Donald Trump. Jake says they were. They provided her. They hated her. And you could see it. You can see it in the hearing. There was a difference with the way that they were dealing with her.
Starting point is 00:12:58 And I wonder where that comes from because, I mean, there's a lot of controversy in this administration. There's a lot of people who say things that certainly make, I imagine, people on Capitol Hill uncomfortable, including the... Now, me and you may say, well, it's not a big deal regarding the luxury bedrooms and the 737 Max, Boeing, airplanes. Maybe it's not a problem. her no-bid contracts that she essentially allowed to take place.
Starting point is 00:13:24 But in the eyes of promising your constituents, particularly people who support the president of Doge and cutting out fraud, waste and abuse, that doesn't look good whatsoever. That's true. Is it enough to have her be fired? I don't know. Again, it could be a multitude of things. It could be the Republicans themselves is telling the president, no more of Christy-know. Or it could be Democrats threatening that they've,
Starting point is 00:13:50 will not fund DHS unless she's gone. Or the president was watching her hearings and said, you know what, I don't like her anymore. I'm done. And when you throw all that together, you could see why it led to the decision that ultimately came for her. Now, it's not just my opinion. Fox News is saying the same thing, essentially. Take a listen. Okay, so let's go to Jackie with that news because, John, this might have been ultimately what led the president to make this firm decision. Jackie, the news. Yeah, we're still getting bits and pieces, but can confirm that the president said that he does not, he was not aware of the ad campaign that Christy Noem was questioned about on Capitol Hill this week,
Starting point is 00:14:33 $200 million in spending that prominently featured her, sometimes on horseback. In her testimony, when she was questioned by Senator John Kennedy, indicated that the president had authorized this expense and approved of it. and that, according to reports, upset the president, especially when they're trying to cut back on unnecessary spending, and can confirm from a White House official that the president said that he didn't know about that ad and did not authorize it. So a difference there between what Christy Noem said, under questioning from lawmakers, and what transpired here. And that might have been the tipping point after weeks of the president facing questions about Noam's ability to carry out her children. duties as DHS secretary. Of course, you know, her public statements that she made in the aftermath
Starting point is 00:15:24 of the deaths of two people in Minnesota and the sort of quick statements that that cast those individuals in a light that perhaps at the moment they were made didn't, weren't cautious enough. The president got a lot of questions about that and whether those statements were responsible. And up until now had vehemently defended her and point. pointed to the successes at the southern border, the fact that there have been no illegal immigrants caught and released into the interior of the country, improvements on things like the murder rate and overdoses as data points to build her up. So the bottom line is, Kristy Knoem met the same fate as Mike Waltz. Once they made a decision that the president did not agree with and became too politically toxic for him,
Starting point is 00:16:12 especially in this election year, he had to do essentially to her that he did with Mike Waltz. He fired her and then moved her into a position that they had to essentially create, meaning she's going somewhere where no one really cares about. That's the brutal truth to the matter. And so the bottom line to it all, do I support this call from the president? Yeah, I do. I think this looks good to independents out there in election year that shows that the president's willing to hold his own people accountable. Now, you may be a fierce supporter of Christy Noem, but I think in this particular situation, it's not a stretch to see why she is gone based on everything we discussed in this particular video. So why don't you guys let me know your reaction to this breaking news? Let me know if you agree with this decision from the president. If so or not explaining in the comments section below. Now let's go to our next update because this is a heart-breaking story. Another American citizen was stabbed at the bus stop in Virginia and was killed by an illegal alien.
Starting point is 00:17:15 And guess what? This scum was arrested over 30 times. Now the DA is facing not only backlash, but calls to resign, including the governor of Virginia herself. If you guys miss out on that update more, click on that video because it's coming up right now.
